I have isaac and johnny moved our furnitures. They are nice but the move was so stressful! They left us without fixing the bed frames and they took out the fridge door without putting it all back together. (So I have no choice I fixed and assemble it by myself) We ended up paying $1,280.00 and the job was not even done! My boyfriends grandma needed help moving & so Eric's company sent us Roger & Jose. I got there an hour after they all started but from what I saw - Roger & Jose did a great job. Not only were they there to help us pack + move, they talked with us, joked with us & told us about what they do. They've been working together for 3 years & it shows! They knew exactly what to do & how to help each other out. They were quick + efficient. Loading the truck was harder, but unloading took 45 minutes longer. When they got close to 3 hours, they started working faster. So obviously they were milking the clock. My previous move was even more difficult, but they took less than 2 hours. They forced me to pay for a disposal fee even after I told them I would take care of it. Scammers I understand a 20% tip. But they based it off of everything. Fuel charge, mileage, wrap fees. Everything. Why should I tip based off of a fuel charge non labor related charges? Scammers. Also, they broke, dented or scratched up anything I told them not to wrap. And denied they were responsible. Great way to get back at me for not letting you charge me more money. That would have been a larger tip also, since it's based on the Grand total. Scammers Some others may have had great service. But you'll see a lot of bad reviews in the not recommended area. Also, why no address listing? Makes it difficult to get served and sued, eh? Scam a bit? Post your business address if you guys aren't running a scam. read more

Recommended by a family friend, my fiance hired two movers from Eric's Moving this past weekend. We are a family of 4 with 2 cats and we moved from an apartment in Monterey Park to a house in San Gabriel. My fiance's parents hadn't moved in 25 years, so this gives you an idea of how much stuff they had and didn't know they had. Our move was on a Saturday morning. We had 2 movers help us move and they arrived on time at 9am with smiles and lots of energy. What surprised me the most was that they not only speak English and Spanish, but they can also speak some Mandarin as well. My fiance and his parents are Chinese and his parents only speak a little English, so this small detail was a big relief to us. It made directing what stuff goes where a lot easier when my fiance and I weren't around. Like others have stated, their prices are very reasonable and cheaper than most. They were very approachable, nice and funny individuals. They treated our stuff with care, wrapped whatever needed to be wrapped with their own supplies and seemed genuinely happy doing their job. Lots of laughs this past Saturday, something we all definitely needed. Moving can be stressful but these guys sure made it fun. Besides the apartment we also had a storage unit near the new house with items stored from my previous apartment that needed to be moved. They gave us a good deal on that addition, that could have easily been charged as a completely separate move. Thanks! In the end, they did leave us with a few marks on our walls, but in their defense they were near narrow spots in our house and around stairways. Luckily for us and their review our contract with our new house offers free touch ups after we completely move in, so no biggie to us. I have already and will continue to recommend Eric's moving. Eric personally moved us last year from LA to Alhambra was very happy only took about 3 hours they also accidental broke my glass table but your replaced it.... so i had move again so of course i wanted them to move us about same distance as last time and same amount of stuff but this time no stairs. Isaac came this past friday and moved us to Monterey Park. But instead of 3 hours it took 7 hours i really feel like they took too long and felt like we got ripped off. Eric and his team (Mikey and Leo were with him) were nothing but class! We had a big move - to us - to a larger apartment with stairs, but they made it look easy. We've used 4 other moving companies across the years, but this team was by far the best and we'd never use another one. They went above and beyond to be helpful and kept things light. We had a few items that were pretty large and were stressed about transporting them - Eric and Mikey made it happen, and we never had to worry! Yeah, I feel bad because the guys on site were nice but they overcharged me by fifteen minutes, automatically charged a 20% tip which they did not tell me about in the quote. Then they broke some of my items and wouldn't respond to any texts or questions about making it right. also, they scratched up the apartment ceiling with my couch and didn't clean it up. Additionally, they didn't read any of the fragile notes and through the fragile boxes on the bottom of the stacks. Overall, they were cheaper than other quotes by five bucks an hour but ultimately, I felt ripped off. I guess you get what you pay for. Oh, and these guys aren't bonded nor do they have insurance. I had Jose and Mikey move for me. They were there for 6 hours moving all my stuff. We went a little over 6 hours but they still only charged me for 6 hours. We had an electronic bed which was super heavy so they charged extra for the heavy item which I understand. They took good care of my furniture and there were no scratches or damages to my furniture. Pricing was overall fair compared to the other companies out there. Definitely would recommend them if you are on a budget and need good movers. read more

Not very professional and not full service in seeing things from beginning to end. When time came to pay it was shady and not in tune with our original agreement. Wouldn't use again. Actually guys helping up move that day were cool but management isn't the best. read more

We needed movers at the last minute! We called them at 6:00pm and asked them if theyd be willing to do a move for us in the evening. They are based in Rosemead but I needed them to come to Culver City to pickup and then deliver to Westwood. Eric and Roger showed up at 8pm with a smile and HUSTLED and man these guys are good and are fast. Service with a smile. And the price was very competitive, like 60% of what the other companies were charging. And none of the companies were willing to do it so late in the day, and on such short notice. Not a pleasant experience! The moving was done efficiently, yet quite some damages to wood furnitures and metal cabinets due to lack of protection, and Eric has no intention to fix it because he's rushing to the next job... For the charges, it was total 5 hours and 12 minutes, but we were charged for 6 hours, which I did not argue, but 20% mandatory gratuity on top of all (including the "6th hour", for the rather unsatisfactory service, was a disappointment. read more

My mover Bruce is very nice. They worked really hard non stop for hours. Moving my beds and dressers up the stairs. Something i wouldn't possibly be able to do it myself. Even though towards the end they were slower but they are nice people. Deserve lot of tips for their hard work. We had Luis and Roger help us move. They arrived 10 minutes early which was highly appreciated. The move went over two hours, totaling 5 hours long. They were approachable and friendly individuals. Don't get fooled by the good reviews! I was impressed with the reviews but made a mistake hiring them. They added 1 hour extra, 20% tips and $150 for gas to my bill after they completed the move. The tips and 1 hour extra was not included in my original quote for the move, and had I known I would have hired another company. Traveling over 90 miles only takes 1 hour and 20 minute by car. They claimed they were taking the "commercial route" which I assumed would be a little faster for them, and it took 3 hours for them to get to the apartment, even though they told me it would take them around 2 hours. Hidden fees were unacceptable to me and I will never hire them again! read more

They always work so fast, and nothing has ever been damaged or gone missing after the moves.
