Gregory, our onsite lead, was responsive, well organized, and his four-person crew worked very hard. My advice to anyone moving is to be realistic about how much stuff you have. I got three quotes. One company estimated one-and-a-half 27-foot trucks, while Royal and another company estimated one 27-foot truck. My move-out apartment was 895 sq ft with a large patio. Before moving day, I made two 10-foot Home Depot truck trips myself with the delicate and bulky items: my electric bike, Peloton, and other things that don't stack well. Royal filled a 27-foot truck with everything else, efficiently using all the available space. We did go a little over the estimate because of rush-hour traffic. The only part I didn't enjoy was the payment app prompting for a tip at checkout. After a long moving day, that was one unnecessary stress point because I never know what's considered an appropriate tip for professional movers. Fortunately, I had already planned ahead with cash tips and cold Gatorades for the crew throughout the day. I highly recommend Royal Movers. They made a difficult move much easier. I also gained a whole new respect for my son, his friend, and my old girlfriend, who helped me move the last time. And ChatGPT-5.5, who helped me figure out which movers to get an estimate from, the tip beforehand, and helped edit this review

We tipped so much for OK moving services because they shoved that in our face after. Not one member of the crew offered to get the items that didn't make the truck. Even though we tipped $600. They did want our old computers and wanted to take some things - they were polite and asked but looking back - this was overpriced and under delivered. I hired ONE guy on Task Rabbit the next day and he was the equivalent of Royal Moving's entire team. Don't get me wrong, the guys were nice, courteous and fun but business is business and we got ripped off.

Would give 3.5 stars if we could do half stars tbh I hired 4 movers for my 1 bedroom apartment - it took them 6 hours. Before tip this was about $1200 This was the cheapest quote I got and I figured "how different can it be". This is only my second time using movers but I believe they could've done better. The guys are very nice, they took their shoes off for the carpet, they took time and care to wrap up fragile items like tv and glass tables, and I would probably use them again if I had to! Now into the reason for the -1.5 stars The weird part is: they asked me, in the middle of the move, to buy them snacks, coffee, and water - because the move started at 6:15am and they "didn't have time to eat". It's not my responsibility to feed you.... I don't care that the move was early in the morning. Wake up earlier. But I'm ANXIOUS - So I go and spend $50 to get these guys breakfast Then at the end they ask for /pressure you into a tip. Which again, is very weird behavior. I wish I would've taken the $50 breakfast off the tip to be honest. But again: I am anxious and a people pleaser so I gave them each $50 for a total of $200. In my opinion: They did not take time or care to properly reassemble furniture. I had to ask them to clip the sectional couch back together, my bed drawers were put together wrong, we keep finding random screws around the house that got left out of things. Etc And WORST OF ALL They didn't take care or time to read any of the boxes that were labeled. At the end I had to tell them to put the boxes in the rooms that were written, clear as day, on each of them. The boxes with big red fragile stickers were ignored. One guy says "where do you want this" because he things the box is blank, and I turn it over, hear all the glass clattering, and the top of the box is covered in fragile stickers with arrows along the side pointing to keep that side up. Assuming the best in people, I think there was a language barrier and that's maybe why they didn't read the boxes. However, the big red sticker w glass breaking on it should be universal

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our move out date and packing dates had to be changed multiple times, but Iliya worked with us patiently to help find us a crew within just a few days that was able to move us out efficiently and conveniently. Carlos and his moving crew were superb and worked quickly, with a positive attitude, and were willing to accommodate a lot of our requests. Prior to the move, I discussed pricing and payment terms directly with the owner/manager and confirmed the agreed-upon amount. However, when the movers arrived, they immediately demanded cash up front and refused to provide any services unless payment was made on the spot. This directly contradicted the prior agreement. After loading the couches, they demanded an additional $100 that had never been disclosed or authorized. The situation felt coercive and inappropriate. In addition to the payment dispute, the movers caused multiple damages: * One of the couches was damaged. * The garage door was damaged. * A component of the security system on the back door was broken. Furthermore, one of the workers raised his voice and yelled at my wife and daughter. This behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. When I contacted the company to request information regarding their insurance coverage for the damages, they refused to provide any details. This company demonstrated a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution.

Jeremiah's communication heading into the move was excellent and Mike and his team arrived right in the window they said they would. As soon as I gave them the rundown of the place, they wasted ZERO time and got straight to work - all the way until the last item was carried into the new place. Heading into this move, I was worried about taking apart our bed frames and putting them back together. Mission Movers took care of it at no extra cost. But the biggest thing for me is how friendly and HONEST the team was. One of my dining chairs was already cracked before the move and they approached me and apologized for thinking they did it. That small gesture went a long way for me and I know they were going to find a solution even if it was their fault. They also could've charged me for a full 4 hours but charged me to the exact minute they worked at 3.75 hours. Not to mention it was also a really hot day and they powered through it without a single complaint. My wife and I have said several times that we don't know how we would've done it without Mission Movers. I know exactly who I'm hiring for any of my future moves. 10/10 experience! PS: don't forget to tip your movers!!! These guys weren't expecting it and they were so grateful - it only made me wish I had more to give.

I also ended up picking up the car earlier than expected and they had my car ready within the hour and I got to keep the car cover and battery tender I bought for next time. I also liked the fact that Stephanie kept my contract open in the event I needed to bring the car back, she was so accommodating. I will ABSOLUTELY be using this service again !!!
