Dined: 3/17/26 We came to Catalina on the Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas. After walking up and down Main Street and checking out all the restaurants, we decided on Eric's based on a local's recommendation... Eric's is great on the pier place for tacos and beer (plus many other burgers, fries and other items). Ordering was easy and the food came out fast. It is a very relaxed atmosphere with high top seating. We ordered their 1 shrimp taco and 2 fish tacos à la carte. You can order the tacos w/ cheese, cabbage and salsa. The shrimp tacos were fried, juicy and very tasty. The fish tacos come either grilled or fried. I ordered fried and it was moist and flavorful. Price is very affordable vs some of the other tourist traps on the Main Street.

Pricing was fair and the food came out fast. Food wasn't great though. Taquitos were so crunchy they were hard to eat and they were dry. Chicken inside was tasty. Toppings were not great.

I needed a quick bite close to the Catalina Island harbor in Avalon. The food was served quickly and the employee was friendly enough. The food stand has some seating but during peak meal times, you might need to find seating on the pier. I was sadly disappointed with the portion size considering the cost of the hamburger. The bun was also served room temperature, it'd probably taste better if it was grilled or warmed up. If I'm ever in the area, I'd probably skip this place.

DEVOURED MY FOOD AS YOU CAN SEE! It's sooo good.

Thought it wouldn't be good given the reviews but it's sooooo good. Someone said the fish sticks were greasy but ours came out amazingly. Also it's fast food? And they're dipped in oil to get fried like ??? Did you expect the healthiest food? It was really full but the line moved fast. There's only one cashier too and she's amazing. There's amazing music. It's also really fresh cause it's near the pier/ocean with good shade and seats. Ordered breakfast burrito, fish and chips , chili cheese fries and chicken a fries. Total was about 53/54$

This is the location for watching people and being part of the pier scene. It is located at the intersection of the Green Pier and the boardwalk, and there really isn't any separation from those on the pier. All the dining is outdoors and there is minimal shade: so plan accordingly. As you can see from my pic, it was a slow time (I've seen this place packed) and our service was quick. We had a beer and a fish taco, see my pics. The beer was cold - it doesn't get any better than that. As you can see from my fish taco pic, there's a lot of good stuff here. The veggies were fresh and crisp. The fish was Tilapia. It was thin, but there was enough quantity. It was cooked well and flavorful. In spite of it being thin, it was still flaky. Also it was grilled, and not breaded or fried. The crème sauce was very, very mild which added some moisture to the tortilla. You'll need to add sauce to suit your tastes. It's an interesting place to watch the scene, and be part of this scene.

First time here, but we went with this place since it was least busy and more of a takeout style (quicker). The other eateries were more of a sit-down. We ordered the hamburger, onion rings, french fries, burrito, clam chowder, and chicken & carne asada quesadillas. Everything was OK, but nothing spectacular. It was convenient. The chicken quesadilla was a bit dry, and the carne asada one was better. Service was good though. There are some seats at the counter and around if you'd like to say and it.

Got a fish and chips that was super greasy and a huge let down. Food wasn't good and tasted very processed. Only cool thing about this place is that its on the pier.

I didn't take pictures as I was that hungry lol. My friend got the bison burger and was disappointed... he expected more flavor. I got the bacon cheeseburger and I have no complaints!!! It was loaded with pickles, raw onion, lettuce and I substituted the mustard for mayo.... the bacon was plentiful. All burgers are served up on a wheat bun. Overall the food was good and did the trick, settled the tummy.

It was touch windy and cold when we were there. The hot dog was not as epic as I expected. I was disappointed that the dog had no snap and just tasted just ok. I would come back and try something else from the menu. The shakes sound good.
