This is a staple and I always recommend it. Recently went back myself and was wowed! The service was friendly, we weren't rushed, and the food was excellent!

Omg! I'm now obsessed with the five Flavor Chicken! Little bit sweet and tangy. I was worried the sauce would be too sweet, but kit was absolutely perfect! Also the chicken fried rice was outstanding! Very light, and not greasy at all. And the chicken in it was incredibly tender and juicy. Big fan!

2nd time ordering takeout from Eric's and had a pretty consistent experience as last time. Food was hot and cooked well. The sesame beef was the best especially paired with the beef fried rice. Chow mein was tender and beef wasn't chewy. Prawns and veggies were our least favorite, they needed more seasoning. Tasted even better the next day!

Tonight is the second time I've picked up takeout from Eric's and the order was wrong. I ordered Brown rice and hot white rice again. I even confirmed when I picked up my order that I ordered brown rice. This is unacceptable and crummy service.

This is by far my favorite restaurant! The food is always good and the service is always fast. I've been going here for more than 20 years now. They've won a Michelin star and Michelin acknowledgment. Plus award from Yelp, Zagnut, and a bunch of other food rating websites. Everyone I've taken here love this place! Definitely, we're checking out!

Mongolian beef, General Tso chicken and mixed fried rice.

I've gone there many times and the food and service is always 5 stars and I'm always happy to bring friends there to eat.

Pretty good Chinese restaurant in the now valley neighborhood. We stopped by Friday for the lunch specials and got the fried fish and eggplant lunch specials. Pretty generous portions and it came with egg flower soup. Service was fast and restaurant is much nicer than a traditional hole in the wall Chinese restaurant, but also $2-$3 more expensive than typical Chinese food.

My wife and I live in San Mateo County and travel to the City for Chinese food. The restaurant we go to is Eric's and it's Hunan & Mandarin cuisine. I have been going to Eric's for close to 30 years and it's still Fabulous. We had ordered honey walnut prawns, beef asparagus, vegetable fried rice, sweet & sour chicken, pot stickers and egg rolls. The food is made with all fresh ingredients and the taste and flavors are simply to savor. I only like to dine in and don't do take out at Asian restaurants. I'm not one who likes his food to get soggy from the steam in close containers. I assure you. That you will love it's variety of different dishes and it's quaint ambiance.

The "meatless chicken" is a mixture of Seitan (TVP) with tofu and is the best faux chicken you will ever find.

I did find a place where no meat would be available in SF . Once I started thinking of this place I started to map out hella meal possibilities with me creating dishes like San Francisco's native dish Cioppino and also making some salmon dishes along with some okay shrimp dishes like fried shrimp, skewer shrimps on the barbie, and scallop ceviche. The real feast on Good Friday would be getting the Dungeness Crab paired with some garlic noodles . This place has been a Mission District seafood institution and it's called Sun Fat Seafood company ( a former employee started Basa Seafood Express on 24th street). On a Spring stroll on Mission street between 22nd and 23rd streets I went inside a fresh seafood market. Inside you will see live lobsters in a tank. You will also see Dungeness Crab during crab season and also find of variety of fresh oysters selection along with scallops. You will also see sushi rolls when available along with different types of fishes. This place was the solution I was looking for to replace meat cravings and replace with seafood during Good Friday feast. This is definitely the place if you like it crustaceans and fish cooked or raw in SF. Inside Sun Fat Seafood you find some raw fish "fillet" to make your meal for " Good Friday" as some will "pray" and enjoy the fresh catch of seafood in San Francisco city by the "Bay" It's almost Good Friday so I feel "bless "I am alive and remembering those who passed away in peace may they "rest" I walk the streets of the Mission I "reminisce" and honor them on Good Friday feast as I eat some crab that's "Dungeness"

If you're looking for great seafood in South San Francisco, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. Even parking was surprisingly easy, especially considering the restaurant's location. The only thing that left a sour taste in my mouth was part of the customer service. After seating ourselves, we waited several minutes without anyone coming by to take our drink or food order. One of my friends eventually walked up to the bar to order, where a staff member asked how he could help. She explained that we were ready to order drinks, and he responded, "We go to people's tables, and we will go to yours. Just relax." Unfortunately, his tone came across as stern and dismissive, which made us feel unwelcome. We genuinely considered leaving, but decided to stay and give the food a chance, and I'm glad we did because it was excellent. Hopefully our experience with the service was just an off day, because the food alone is worth coming back for.
