Between a place you would go out to and a neighborhood place. Could not tell if the food was proper Thai in that we did not have my usual. It was nice nevertheless. I would come back.

Came in with a girlfriend for the lunch special. It's a really cute corner place, lots of natural daylight & the decor is simple, yet elegant. I ordered the lunch special tofu pad ma kuer & asked w soft tofu and vegan. Maybe because I asked for the dish to be changed, I found it tasting plain. There was not much flavor in my dish. The waitress was very sweet and I will give this place another try. Wanted to split our bill & were asked to pay with one card. CC accepted

Nice little neighborhood spot. I've been going here for years. It has had its ups and downs the past few years. I think if ownership changed but I don't know for sure. I wouldn't say it is a place you'd drive crosstown to eat at but if you're in NoeValley it's good. Very clean and the inside has been fixed up. I think I they could use more waiters. Only one waiter and the kitchen staff had to help her out. But everyone was friendly. Went for lunch with a pal and the veggie pad Thai and chicken satay were both tasty . Try it if you're looking for a pleasant lunch in Noe.

This place was clean and inviting. We were seated pretty quickly for Saturday dinner service around 6pm. I ordered the pra ram with brown rice, which has been a favorite dish of mine for years. This was my first time trying it here. The veggies were cooked perfectly and the rice came out shaped like a heart. My protein was tofu and I was a little disappointed in the flavor and counted (only) five bites of tofu. The peanut sauce was a light flavor and it could have been bolder. Overall, it was a good experience but not very memorable.

Quaint little spot in the mission~ Food was good and they are able to accommodate big groups of people as long as you have reservation ahead of time. Decor was very cute and servers would regularly come up to us to checkin. They have a good selection of vegetarian items and can make a lot of stuff veg. They also had chips and a little dipping sauce in the beginning but unfortunately they are shrimp chips :( I got pad kee mao which was really good the flavor was def there they didn't come to play with the seasonings! and veggies were charred as well. Food came out relatively fast and they had little tamarind candies on their way out which were so delicious and a perfect mouth refresher. Prices were pretty good but I guess for the portion size it was accurate.

    * date visited: 08.07.2024 * ordered: nuer gra prow service was super attentive and they were very kind, we had a large group and they were able to accommodate us well which was appreciated! the flavors of my dish were really good, i added some extra chili flakes but even without the addition, the dish was dimensional -- spicy, slightly sour, savory. the lemongrass, basil, and bell peppers added a lot of bright elements to the dish. the beef itself was not as tender as i would've hoped for and the portion was quite small for the price.

Love trying new Thai spots and this restaurant was on my list! I really like the pricing and plating but the portions felt a little small. Food also was a bit underwhelming with spice, even after adding chili flakes and paste it did not increase spice much. I like the meat and how they don't charge additional for beef. Tastes good, but was expecting larger portions because it's Thai food and I was still hungry after.

The trout was sooo yum! Not as spicy as what I'd think two pepper signs meant, but did come with fresh jalapeno slices. The sauce perfectly complimented the fried fish, and there were barely any bones at all. Dishes came out fast and we were able to make a reservation for around 15 people. The restaurant isn't huge, but is spacious enough and has comfy seating. There is street parking outside.

We ordered the Papaya Salad, Veg Spring Rolls, House Favorite Yellow Curry, Eggplant Basil, Pad Kee Mao, and White Rice. The Papaya Salad was a bit disappointing. It was overly sour and tasted more citrusy than fresh and lime-forward. The Veg Spring Rolls were fine, but nothing particularly memorable. The biggest letdown was the Yellow Curry. It lacked the rich flavor I typically expect from a Thai curry, and some of the vegetables seemed undercooked. The Eggplant Basil was also underwhelming. It lacked the distinct basil flavor that the dish is known for. Since we ordered the vegetarian version, it came loaded with a mix of other vegetables, which made it feel more like a generic vegetable stir-fry than an eggplant basil dish. The Pad Kee Mao was the standout of the meal. It had good flavor and was enjoyable, although the portion size felt a bit small for the price. Overall, the food was ok, but nothing really stood out. I've had better Thai food elsewhere, both in terms of flavor and value. While the experience wasn't bad, it wasn't memorable enough to make me want to return. For the price point, I expected more authentic flavors and better execution.

I got crispy calamari which was perfectly crunchy and delicious. I love the inner texture that blended so well with the crispy texture. For my main dish, I got Pad See You Chicken. If you're going to do that, do add a small bit of oil, it's really spicy. The chicken was tender which was such a good blend. Their Thai Iced Tea is so good and creamy. They serve it in a huge ice ball! It was pretty cool and unique. The person who served us was very kind and welcoming. I loved his energy, I wish I got his name. I only knocked the restaurant down by a star because the servers were pretty pushy with wanting us to leave despite the multitude of empty tables around us. Besides that, the food is really delicious. The papaya salad is amazing if you like spice! There was a great kick and acidity to the papaya salad distributed throughout the fresh vegetables in the dish. I highly recommend! The pumpkin fries were also a great choice: crispy fry with soft pumpkin inside, maintaining the overall pumpkin flavor profile. The sauce they provide on the side (sweet and sour plum sauce), cut through the fry but didn't overwhelm the pumpkin itself. For myself, I got the yellow curry with chicken. The curry dishes do not come with rice, so you will have to order that on the side. The curry is not only a generous portion, but FULL of ingredients. They do not skimp on the meat, potatoes, etc. Highly recommend trying Farmhouse Kitchen for some flavorful Thai dishes!

Every bite and sip was delicious. We ordered family style and shared everything. The service was also fantastic, even though we got there late and didn't realize until the food was beginning to come out that it was last call, our server and all the other workers that came by were all so friendly and made us feel welcome. We ate quickly and boxed the rest so they could get home. What we ordered: Tom Kha soup - coconutty, creamy, a lil sour and a lil spice. Delicious. Fresh rolls - crisp and springy with lots of greens and tofu and a good peanut sauce to dip. Crispy pork belly sweet basil - the CRISP and flavor of this pork belly was to die for. Chicken larb - this was my favorite dish of the night. Heavy basil/herbs, just a little kick from the chilies, full on flavor explosion. I will be thinking of this dish for a long time haha. Beef Pad See Ew - chewy in the most delicious and favor packed way. Love pad see ew and this one was great! Pad cha scallop - Came out sizzling on a cast iron! This dish was fun and the scallops while small, were fresh and had lots of flavor. And finally, for dessert we ordered the black rice durian. It was all three of us' first time trying Durian and we loved it! Creamy and a little funky but the black rice and sauce emphasized its natural sweetness. Thank you to everyone at Saap Ver for adding to my besties birthday happiness! Can't wait to come back.

Fatty pork belly goes very well with the lighter vegetables. The service was very good. The workers were very nice. The inside was cool with a modern design. Spiced well and very filling. We didn't expect the pork to be cut so large and mixed into the rice, but it was very tender and easy to still eat. We would've expected the pork to be sliced maybe in half or fourths to make the dish feel like a "pork fried rice" than a fried rice + pork mix, but it still worked well and if you love pork, this will definitely be your fix! 5/5 - Pad Thai - We thought the restaurant nailed this classic noodle dish.
