    One Waan Fresh Spring Rolls
    Natalia B.

I really wanted to love this place, but overall I thought the food was just okay for the price. Parking was also a bit difficult. There isn't much nearby street parking, so it's probably easiest to park in the surrounding neighborhood and walk over. The restaurant itself is fairly small, and they try to fit a lot of tables into the space, which makes it feel pretty cramped. At times we were almost shoulder-to-shoulder with the table next to us. We started with the fresh spring rolls, which were light and tasty, but I was surprised that the peanut sauce cost extra. It made the experience feel a little nickel-and-dimey from the start. The rolls themselves were fresh though, and the peanut sauce was flavorful. For my entrée, I ordered the yellow curry with coconut rice. The portions were generous, but the chicken texture was too soft for my liking, almost mushy, and the curry leaned saltier than I prefer. The flavors just didn't fully come together for me. My partner ordered the Pad See Ew with tofu and appreciated the large portion size. He enjoyed the dish overall, though he also wished it had more spice. Service was fine and the portions were generous, but considering the pricing, food quality, and tight dining space, I'd probably choose another Thai spot next time.

Very classy looking place, with a comfortable vibe. We ordered the classic set of family-style dishes- curry, fried rice, beef, chicken. We proceeded to completely clean the plates, even though we ordered a lot. The owner came out and started chatting with us about different Thai beers, even bringing a few out from the back to show to us. 10/10 food, service, vibes. Might be our new fav thai place! Will be coming back very soon. :))

I discovered this place on my way to pick up a friend at the nearby BART station and I saw the front store while passing by and made a mental note I was going to give a try because I love Thai food. I'm so glad the universe showed me this place because I have now gone three times and each time has been impressively presented and deliciously tasty! While the location is a bit small, it can accommodate several parties, mostly of up to six people comfortably. The place is modernly decorated and comfortable. The service is friendly although a bit difficult to get quick attention when it's full on a Friday evening and there's only two waitstaff for everyone. But that's ok, the food is 110% worth it. I've tried the Pad See Ew with beef, the Tom Kha Soup with chicken, the Bacon Wrapped Scallops, the Crab Rangoons, the Shrimp appetizer, the Thai Fried Rice with shrimp, the Tom Yum Fried Rice, the Pumpkin Curry, and the Basil Eggplant with chicken and absolutely none have disappointed. I literally crave this place. The way they present the dishes makes you almost not want to touch its beauty but the taste is amazing so you can't help it. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for quality, tasty, good portioned Thai food in SF!

Strolling into the sounds of lounge music and a low key gaudy interior I had mixed opinions on whether this was a restaurant for me The angel wings had a good flavour and the meat came off the bones easily. They are quite small though and emphasised by the massive plating job. You may need other appetisers is you're peckish OR if you get the Khao Soi never mind this was a very filling dish, very different to Khao soi I usually have, mixing in udon for a slight Japanese fusion. Flavours were good but textures not what I expected Service was timely and attentive but I just reached the conclusion that I am not the target demographic for this space

Food is nice, tried some seafood soup and pan fried noodles. Service is really really good.

Chill thai restaurant located in Glen Park. As it was one of the few places in the area that had boat noodles, we had to come check it out. Chicken larb salad and the boat noodles were both very delicious. Service was ok, as they didn't come over or check on us for a while after we were done, but overall; I would recommend this place.

My mom was visiting from Sacramento so we wanted to treat her to a nice meal, she loves Thai food! She was so impressed by the high quality ingredients, deceivingly large portions, and incredible flavor. She said it was the best Thai she's ever had and I agree! This is not your whole in the wall Thai joint. You can tell they take a great deal of pride in their craft by the meticulous plate presentation. Finally, the service was above and beyond! Our server engaged in friendly banter but most importantly was so sweet to our 1 year old! He gave him a balloon to play with while waiting for our food plus a plate of fresh cut strawberries! I saw the same friendliness to other families with children and I know how much that means to my fellow comrades, er parents!

My soup was a little spicy. I have low tolerance for heat. The restaurant was busy today but the service was still good. Pam and her husband make a great team. They very nice and attentive.

The food is delicious! The place is nice and clean. The owner is very nice and is detail oriented. All the dishes look beautiful. I will always recommend this place! :)

The food here is surprisingly good! Tucked away next to Glen Park Bart, it's an unassuming Thai place that used to be part of the OSHA chain. It's better than when it was OSHA. It's rarely crowded, service is great, and the food is terrific.

Somebody dial 9 One Waan cuz this place is dangerous...dangerously good. Had a catch up sesh with a friend and ordered a lil snacky snack since I wasn't too hungry. Tom Kha soup - beautiful presentation, nice balanced soup with lots of flavor. I got the small but should've gone with a large Mango Sticky rice - I could eat this dish for any meal. Never have a ever seen sticky rice this nice pink hue. Love the texture of the rice and I never know when its mango season but after having a bite of this, it was that moment I knew... My friend got a pork dish but I didn't try it. I will say it was good since he finished everything...including the plate. Great service, good food.

Every bite and sip was delicious. We ordered family style and shared everything. The service was also fantastic, even though we got there late and didn't realize until the food was beginning to come out that it was last call, our server and all the other workers that came by were all so friendly and made us feel welcome. We ate quickly and boxed the rest so they could get home. What we ordered: Tom Kha soup - coconutty, creamy, a lil sour and a lil spice. Delicious. Fresh rolls - crisp and springy with lots of greens and tofu and a good peanut sauce to dip. Crispy pork belly sweet basil - the CRISP and flavor of this pork belly was to die for. Chicken larb - this was my favorite dish of the night. Heavy basil/herbs, just a little kick from the chilies, full on flavor explosion. I will be thinking of this dish for a long time haha. Beef Pad See Ew - chewy in the most delicious and favor packed way. Love pad see ew and this one was great! Pad cha scallop - Came out sizzling on a cast iron! This dish was fun and the scallops while small, were fresh and had lots of flavor. And finally, for dessert we ordered the black rice durian. It was all three of us' first time trying Durian and we loved it! Creamy and a little funky but the black rice and sauce emphasized its natural sweetness. Thank you to everyone at Saap Ver for adding to my besties birthday happiness! Can't wait to come back.

I think the pad thai and fried rice were a bit light in flavor, but the curry and crispy pork were really yummy! The duck curry kinda took me by surprise because of the lychee haha I wish the portions were bigger, but great taste.

The interior is well decorated with Thai culture and with the darker tones of the design, it makes the restaurant feel quite fancy. 4.5/5 - Crispy Pork (Moo Krop) Fried Rice - Very savory fried rice dish. Spiced well and very filling. We didn't expect the pork to be cut so large and mixed into the rice, but it was very tender and easy to still eat. We would've expected the pork to be sliced maybe in half or fourths to make the dish feel like a "pork fried rice" than a fried rice + pork mix, but it still worked well and if you love pork, this will definitely be your fix! 5/5 - Pad Thai - We thought the restaurant nailed this classic noodle dish. Filling portions and did not overcook their noodles. You can taste each component of the dish, which speaks to everything not being under or overcooked. We ordered nuts on the side but you would be quite satisfied ordering this if you like pad thai! 4.5/5 - Pad Gra Prow - Appropriate veggie to beef proportion and very flavorful. Minced well and great to complement with your carb dishes (noodle or rice). We thought the dish was slightly oily but it feels well absorbed when eaten with our pad thai. If you have tried the dish before and would like it, this will be satisfactory!

When it comes to food, we all already know that dessert comes last as to cleanse the palette, but what about when it comes to an arrangement like this? I was on a quest to discover the cosmic order that transcended preference. I am not a scientist, but I know when a couple meets, 1+1=4. Peanut butter + jelly are way better together instead of by themselves. There was more than to these 6 dishes served individually as they were served together to create a far greater experience. Chicken & rice is a classic combo that really transcends cultures. I ended up pouring my "Thai Massaman Peanut curry with chicken" on the rice. The rice really soaked up the juices, it was so good. Next, my mouth experienced contrast therapy. It experienced a nice sauna from the hot chicken curry and took a cold plunge from the "Central Thai-style green papaya salad". The one thing that I could not understand was the "Thai coconut mushroom soup". It was sour and really interrupted my contrast therapy. Next time, I'll figure that out. The "Sautéed Butternut Squash" you could really eat in between everything. It complimented the chicken as something savory. When I wanted a break from the chicken, I took a stab at the squash. The "Homemade Pudding" was ate at the end and it was OK. I got the Coconut, but the sugar tasted off. I am very picky with sugar, I cannot have any processed sugar, I cut that stuff out 5 years ago and life could never be better. Overall, the mystery really turned this into a 5/5 experience. The "Homemade pudding" despite being ok, still did its job of cleansing the palette. With regards to the "Thai coconut mushroom soup", I just didn't understand the art. Whoever does understand the art or who has written a book about it, please please refer it to me.
