I do not recommend this company. I hired them to move my house locally and they cancelled late in the afternoon THE DAY OF MY MOVE. They were scheduled to arrive on moving day between noon and 4 PM. At 3 PM the day of the move, someone from the company called and said they were running late with their morning move and most likely wouldn't be able to get to me until 6:30 PM. I had five people scheduled and standing by to assist me. Then about 3:30 PM one of the owners called me and asked if I could move the next day. That was not possible. They offered a 10% discount if I moved the next day. I had agreed to pay Established Moving and Storage $179/hour plus 1 hour travel time to provide three movers and a truck. They offered no compensation for the incredible inconvenience of not showing up on my move day and for notifying me near the end of the day! read more

if I could 0 stars I would. Had a move scheduled and paid $318 up front for a down payment. I had to drive 2 hrs out of the way myself, as I was planning on moving furniture out of my grandma's house who recently passed away. The office "manager" decided to call at 8 am, the schedule start time to say "unfortunately all his drivers called in sick". I'm in customer service myself and that is no manager, the only "remedy" offered was to move me the next morning. Too bad my scheduled date was the only available day I could meet my aunt (who has the keys). It's ridiculous. I demanded a refund and the office "manager" said give me 10-15 minutes and I'll get movers there. An hour later I had to call to make sure a refund will be processed and they hadn't even started! I chose this "company" being under the impression that they're local and professional. Apparently they are neither, go with College Hunks. If it wasn't for the movers I wouldn't be giving this 2 stars. We saw their logo and number on the back of a truck so we decided to call and get a quote because we were moving soon. Calling a few weeks before I was pleased they had a time slot for us to move. I was told about the travel fee and how much it was hourly. They also told me my one bedroom apartment would be a easy move only needing one truck and two men, probably taking two hours max. I just had my move a couple days ago and it took them over 5 hours. That was a completely different price I had in my mind. Going off the quote they gave me I thought it would be a reasonable price for this "best in the city" moving company. After seeing it took them 5 hours, I was very disappointed. Spending a lot more money than I ever would have spent on movers. I also wasn't told about the "premium" that was added after the 4 hour mark. Overall I was very disappointed with the quote and the amount of money I had to spend, when I was told it would only take them a couple hours because of how little stuff I had. If I knew I was going to be spending this money I would rather of given it to close friends and family, people who needed the money and rented a u-haul for the couple of hours. Worst Movers ever! Do not hire them! I was quoted a price of $556 for a 1 bedroom apartment move for my daughter and her 19 month old baby. I was told the movers would show up after a small move on Sunday. They didn't show up until 6 pm! The guys were all tired from working somewhere else all day and barely wanted to work. Then they said the move might take longer than the 4 hour quote. I disagreed. They continued to load her belongings, no hand truck, blankets to protect her furniture, and didn't seem to care they were tracking mud on her carpet. They took her belongings to the new apartment and promptly got into an argument with the apartment management and threatened to leave my daughter's belongings in the lobby and leave. I finally convinced them to put her stuff in her apartment. It is unbelievable they would think of doing that to a young Mom and baby. Then they called and told me the price had changed. It was now an additional $400! The dispatcher I talked with argued that it took longer than the original estimate and I had signed agreement to the change. I did not sign for the additional charge. They charged me nearly $1,000 for a one bedroom move. They did not put the furniture together and took the bolts for the furniture with them, so we couldn't put things together. If it took them longer to do this apartment, it was only because they sent a team that had already worked 10 hours somewhere else. Absolute worst movers ever!! I had to move from Seattle, WA to Mill Creek, WA. I called a number of lower cost movers and decided on Established Moving and Storage for several reasons. They were not the lowest cost, but they gave me more confidence and presented a more professional operation than the other ones I had contacted. Their rates are fair and reasonable, and still hundreds less than the big carriers. I called them three times with questions before the move. Each time I spoke with a different representative and each time I got the same consistent story. That's important. There were no surprises. Everything they said they would do, they did. Each time I called, I was treated professionally and with respect and understanding. Chris and Edwin were especially helpful in getting the prep work done for my move. On the morning of the move, they sent three men instead of the promised two, but didn't charge any more for the extra man. This would enable us to finish faster - most appreciated. They have their own trucks with their logo on it - that's great - no rented u-hauls. The three were professional courteous and efficient. They got right to work with little or no instructions. Despite having a truck mishap that was out of their control and which set us back about an hour, Established sent out another truck immediately and the men got right to work essentially making up most of the lost time. Established was fair too - they only charged me for the time that the movers started again not for any of the lost time. In addition, they gave me a discount on the total. In terms of quality, the movers treated all my stuff with the best of care and nothing was missing or damaged in any way. I can highly recommend Established Moving and Storage in Seattle, and I will contact them again if I ever need to move. read more

I had an unplanned move , and was quite stressed out. I used Established Moving & Storage to assist me in moving, more than once. I currently work and go to school, and one of my classes is a fieldwork class. This is like having two part - time jobs and going to school. This was my first experience in hiring a moving company. If I could offer any advice to anyone moving , planned or unplanned, it would be to write everything down , or to some sort of plan down. I am sad to have to write this but I want to save as many people as I can from having there prized possessions shattered, broken, mutilated with dings and scratches because it is NOT their policy to wrap your delicate and heavy expensive furniture. FRAGILE means absolutely nothing to them! They would stack 4 fragile boxes at a time on their dolly then set it down with a flop from the heaviness. I did not have an easy move! There were stairs, furniture was heavy. I asked them to wrap my sleigh headboard and pieces and they did not. The pictures speak for themselves. They wrapped a very expensive buffet, turned it on its end and completely dropped it on its front side. We unwrapped it and a door was not longer able to shut. They told me they could repair it when they got to my new destination. I paid for a third man and for extra care. I have 15 photos of all the shattered items serving platters, dishes, china, glasses that you don't find till they are long gone. They terrorized my wood floors and furniture not with scratches but gashes. The men were nice and I tipped them greatly but in front of my family they asked for 100$ apiece. My 80$ tip with dropped/broken furniture was not appreciated! So I called them and sent emails and pictures, filled out their claim forms and no answer!. I emailed the gentleman who sent the form and asked him to make this right and told him I would give him 60 days before I wrote this review and posted pictures. I even emailed him again two weeks ago (3 months after move) to give them an opportunity to respond before I wrote this review. NOTHING. I hope all the pictures post so others will not lose much more than the $1000 spent on their move. I cannot replace wedding serving bowls and platters from over 30 years. They take no responsibility. Established Moving & Storage Inc. should rename itself Unmitigated Disaster Inc. In fact, that's how I'm going to refer to them for the rest of this review. Recently friends of mine generously offered to give us a free spa (hot tub). Enormously grateful, I of course offered to hire movers to get it from their house in Seattle to our place on Camano Island. After a search for "hot tub movers in Seattle", I called Unmitigated Disaster Inc. Their reviews looked great and they responded quickly. Michael from Unmitigated Disaster Inc. said they could handle the job. I pointed out that it's a big spa, 7x7 feet and inside a wooden cabinet. "No problem," said Michael from Unmitigated Disaster Inc. "We move large objects all the time and we're fully insured. Just make sure it's drained. We'll have four guys out there Saturday, September 29 between 8-9 AM." Great. I let my friends know when to expect Unmitigated Disaster Inc. to arrive. On the morning of the move, Christian from Unmitigated Disaster Inc. called to tell me the driver had been in an accident and crashed their moving truck. He apologized and said they couldn't move the spa that day. He said Unmitigated Disaster Inc. would prioritize moving the spa the next Saturday, October 6. Somewhat embarrassed, but glad nobody got hurt, I called my friends to say we were delayed a week. They understood. Accidents happen. The next Saturday, a crew from Unmitigated Disaster Inc. arrived at my friends' house, 90 minutes late. I was at our house on Camano Island waiting to receive the movers and the spa. However, upon arriving, Unmitigated Disaster Inc. said they would need plywood to move the spa. So someone from Unmitigated Disaster Inc. then left to go get plywood. Later, Christian from Unmitigated Disaster Inc. called to tell me they couldn't move the spa that day. "Is this because of the plywood?" I asked. "No," said Christian from Unmitigated Disaster Inc. "We need the power to be disconnected from the spa. You'll need to hire an electrician." I mean, fair enough I guess, but why didn't Unmitigated Disaster Inc. tell me that at the beginning? And why didn't they know they needed plywood? I told Christian this was getting a little ridiculous. Christian apologized for the second week in a row and assured me for second week in a row that Unmitigated Disaster Inc. would come the following Saturday, 10/13. (Saturday 10/13 is today, dear readers, and if any of you guessed that Unmitigated Disaster Inc. is about to poop the bed again, well, you'd be right.) Really embarrassed now, I let my friends know the deal. A few days later, an electrician came out and disconnected the spa. I called Unmitigated Disaster Inc. in the middle of the week to confirm that we were all set for the move. "Great," said Unmitigated Disaster Inc. "We'll see you this Saturday between 12-4 PM." I let my friends know. Third time's a charm. High fives, all around. About 12:30 this afternoon, Saturday, October 13, Unmitigated Disaster Inc. called to let me know they were running late but they would arrive by 4 PM. Thanks for calling, I said. I let me friends know Unmitigated Disaster Inc. were due to arrive toward the end of the 12-4 PM window. Around 4:45 PM though, the driver from Unmitigated Disaster Inc. called to say they would arrive at my friends house in about 45 minutes, so an hour and a half past their window. "Well, okay," I said. "But remember you're moving this thing up to Camano Island. It's going to be dark out by the time you get here. And did you remember to bring the plywood?" (Long pause. Loooooooong pause.) "Plywood?" said the driver from Unmitigated Disaster Inc. "Did you say we need plywood?" "Yes," I said, flummoxed. "The crew last week said you needed plywood to move the spa." The driver from Unmitigated Disaster Inc. said he needed to call the office to get the story and that he'd call back. The driver from Unmitigated Disaster Inc. called back around 6:30 PM to say he was on his way to my friends' house. "The homeowners will meet you there. I'm on Camano Island to receive your crew at the spa's destination." Okay. He hung up. About an hour later, Christian from Unmitigated Disaster Inc. called to say he had some bad news. He said the driver told him the spa is too big, his crew couldn't move it and they would give me back my deposit. Okay, let's go through this in order: (a) you're a moving company; (b) you said you could move heavy objects when I hired you to move a heavy object; (c) it's a freaking hot tub - what did you think you were doing? (d) YOU WERE THERE LAST WEEKEND LOOKING AT THE THING. Any of these things in isolation is understandable. Three weeks of missteps is crazy. At this point, I'm expecting Ashton Kutcher to jump out of the hot tub and yell "Punk'd!" This is the most disorganized, unreliable company I've ever seen, and I once took a flight on Eastern Airlines. Never hire Established Moving & Storage (or Unmitigated Disaster Inc.) read more

We originally gave a one-star and very negative review to Established, because the final charges were over twice the original estimate. After Jason Crossen, the owner of Established Moving & Storage found out about our unhappiness, he contacted us personally and bent over backward to make us satisfied. He obviously cares deeply about making and keeping his customers satisfied. So, he singlehandedly transported us from dissatisfied customers to satisfied customers. This kind of personalized concern from the owner of a business is extremely rare but very welcome. So, our review has gone from a one-star to a five-star because of Mr. Crossen's efforts. read more

If I could put negative 5 stars, I would. My friend scheduled a move with Established Moving a few weeks ago. Very clear that a 26' truck was needed and verified the day. Day of move (also last day of month so needing to be out of her apartment) she received a call that movers would be an hour late. Ok, not a problem. Movers showed up 2 and half hours late with a less than 26' moving truck and no equipment to strap items. My friend called Steve and he stated that this was the only truck he could get and that he wouldn't charge if an additional trip needed to be made. Geez, thanks. Meanwhile, the movers were stating they weren't comfortable moving the furniture since they did not have enough straps to secure the load/s. While friend was on the phone with Steve, movers were on the phone with Jamie. Next thing we know the movers are closing up the truck, climbing into the cab and away they went. Leaving my friend and 3 of her friends to move a 2 bedroom apartment before end of day Sunday. As a Realtor, I am always in search of a good mover, they are NOT it. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, EVER!!! Where do I start? Two guys showed up, one about 25-30 yrs old, good worker. The other was an old man that didn't speak English. Within 5 mins of them being there, I called the office and asked to get someone else out here, he said he would get some there within an hour. The older man obviously had never moved, he was walking in circles, did not know how to lift furniture, hadn't worked a dolly, put light, small boxes on the bottom, heavy, big boxes on top, couldn't figure out how you get the dolly out of the front door, hit the walls. The younger man was trying to show him with hand signals where goes where and how to stack boxes. After two hours, I called the office back, where's the replacement person? Sorry, we can't find anyone. Great, I had to help load the truck, I'm a 55 yr old grandmother, thanks for the call back. I moved 5 miles, it took them ALL day to load the truck. And that wasn't everything I had. We got to my new place, they (we) unpacked the truck, put boxes up side down that were clearly marked, hit the walls in my new place, set boxes down right in walkways, furniture was in the wrong rooms. When the truck was empty, I said, lets go get the rest. The younger guy called the office, came back to me and said, we aren't allowed to work over time, I said what? the move isn't finished. I had to be out of that place today. They said they would meet me at the old place (mind you a duplex!) at 9:00 in the morning. I had plenty to unpack, set up bed, move boxes so I could walk around and get over there at 9am. I had to call my landlord, explain the movers delay, paid for an extra day, she had to re-schedule a cleaning crew and painters, I had to take another day off work. I went over there and waited and waited. At 10am I called the office, the very rude manager said they weren't scheduled for today, it would be the next day. Who moves one day, skips the next day and finished moving the 3rd day? I was livid, this was the move from hell. So this move from a duplex, 5 miles would take 3 days and cost over $1,000. He said he didn't like my attitude, I should find someone else. I said he should finish the job I was paying for. I called a storage place, rented a truck for $30, called a friend, we got it finished within 2 hours. I left a message that I finished the move, no need for the guys the next day. Yep, got the call around 9:30 the next day, the guys were at my old place. I could have moved myself for probably $60 + gas for a truck in 2 days, but I physically can't. So I ended up with lifting and moving anyway, stress, dealing with a rude manager, missing work, paying extra in old rent with an upset landlord and they charged my card over $1,100. no discount, no apology. For the service a got and stress of having to figure out the second part of my move, I should have paid for the labor of just the hard worker ONLY. This was the worst move of my life. I called this company to book 2 men to move a heavy desk from my garage to my office. I was quoted $278 dollars. I was told by their sales guy Mitchell that the guys could be here in an hour to an hour and a half. I then got a voicemail saying they could not come at the promised time. And then I began to get texts. I did not respond to the voicemail right away because I was on a conference call. After a few texts that resulted in no definitive time I called them to inquire as to when they could come. I was told they would not come. I asked to speak to Mitchell and I was transferred to the owner. I think his name was Steve. He made excuses and talked over me to the point of yelling. Then he was trying to say I needed a crew of 4 guys which would double the cost. Maybe then it would be worth his company's time? So I was blown off because it was a small job. He was very disrespectful and unprofessional. All I wanted was help. I have contacted another company, which has dramatically better pricing and paid the deposit for my GUARANTEED move of my desk! So, buyer beware this company is unethical and dishonest. Search around !!! There are less than expensive companies with much better ethics. I was also told by the owner that any negative review I write would be countered. He is obviously very worried about these reviews. Should be more worried about his customers. read more

To start- if I could give this company zero stars, I would. This review has taken me awhile to write because honestly, I have never been so revolted or dismayed by a company that I have hired to provide a service. We chose to hire this moving company based upon the good reviews we read and their good price, however, you get what you pay for. This moving company was literally was the worst decision of my life. We hired three movers to come move our 2 bedroom apartment (3 movers was recommended to us by the company because it "would save time and money")- however, day of the move one of the workers was so hungover he was completely useless. He smelled like alcohol, he could not walk a straight line- multiple times he was seen standing in front of the truck taking a break, on the phone, or throwing up. The process was taking so extremely long (keep in mind, we had already packed and wrapped our belongings) that my husband and I started moving boxes and belongings out, including having to load up both of our cars. We were quoted at a 4 hour total time for the move, and we had still not left our first apartment by the time 4 hours had passed.To make matters worse- when they were moving our couches out of our old apartment they dropped our couch into our wall, punching through the dry wall and making a huge hole in our wall (see pictures). The mover who was hungover did not have the energy to get the couch back out of the wall, so my husband had to take his place, getting the couch out of the wall and loaded into the moving truck. When moving into our new house, they dropped our couch onto the deck, and the mover then refused to pick it back up, leaving my husband left to have to move it to the living room. This, sadly, was only the beginning of our troubles. When I called the owners the day of the move, they were extremely apologetic and acted like they would bend over backwards to fix the damages of our old apartment. Unfortunately, I was naive and took them at their word- paying for our "service" and taking them at their word that they would get our old wall fixed. LONG story short- once we paid for our move, I was completely ghosted by the owners. When the damage first occurred I was in contact with Jason and Mitchell (who told me they were partial owners) and I was assured this issue would be fixed immediately by the end of the week because our lease was up and we would no longer have access to the apartment (5 days from our move). However, once I paid for our move I could no longer get ahold of either of these people who had assured me the hole would get fixed. From then I was referred to the "manager" John- I was rarely able to reach him. I was calling all three of these men about 15 times a day, because they would not answer my calls or texts, By this time we were no longer on our lease at our apartment. IF I was able to reach them, I was completely given the run around saying they had someone to fix the hole and it would be done "the next day"- this happened for about two weeks. I was assured each and every time I talked to John that the contractor would be out the next day to fix the hole- the next day would come and go, and no repairs were made. When we finally set up the repair I met the contractor at the apartment at 9pm, the only hours he could come. Interestingly enough, the contractor doing the repair stated he had only been contacted that night to fix the hole- he stated he is "called often" to fix last minute damages and repairs caused by the moving company and they have had a lot of incidents occur that need his help. He stated he was also instructed to just "putty" the hole and plaster over it versus actually fixing the drywall. Throughout this entire two week process, I had to incessantly call John to be sure our repairs were actually being scheduled. I can't stress enough the unprofessional actions of this company- we just were lucky our landlord let us free of any fees for not being to get the repairs done until halfway through the next month after we moved out. read more
