Came here today on our endless quest for a perfect brunch buffet. This place is huge. There is plenty of parking, just fyi. We walked past the bar to the hostess area and requested a high-top. We were quickly seated and greeted by our waiter. He was very attentive. We opted for the brunch buffet, it's about $26 pp. They have a lot of food to choose from: Cold: Fresh Fruit Station: Omelette, Waffle, Pancakes, French Toast Hot: Menudo, Tamales, Enchiladas, Barbacoa, chicken and beef fajitas, bacon, sausage, biscuits, eggs, empanadas, breakfast potatoes, fresh tortillas, etc. My best bite was the empanadas and hubby liked the Barbacoa. We had fresh green and red salsa w/chips as well. My only disappointments were no fresh salad, veggie options and the Mexican hot chocolate was underwhelming. Even still, I enjoyed the food and we will add them to the rotation. Enter freely, they've been approved.

This place is far from home but so much fun. There was such a vibe for FIFA fan club outdoors and inside was a bunch of parties being celebrated. Tons of cool drinks to try and food was very good. I can't wait to come back. My waitress was so cool too.

We had a great time dining on the outside patio at La Brisa. The place is massive and kind of tucked away, but it's definitely worth seeking out. Even though it was super busy when we went, everything ran smoothly and the atmosphere was lively without feeling chaotic. Honestly, we went in expecting the food to be just okay because of how packed it was, but it totally surprised us. Everything we ordered was really good and flavorful. Drinks were a highlight too. The watermelon margarita on special was super fresh, and the ranch water was excellent as well. Overall, great patio vibes, good food, and really solid drinks. Definitely a spot we will be back at.

The food was okay and the staff were nice. There are televisions available to watch along with plenty of seating and parking.

Once I saw they had the soft serve margs I had to come give it a try! They were the perfect mix of fruity froyo and a margarita the food also turned out to be good! The place had lots of seating and plenty of screens to watch the ongoing games. Whether you want the margarita or good old texmex you should stop by!

Zack took REALLY good care of us today!! He was our server for our large family group today on a Sunday. He was able to keep our orders straight, keep our table tidy, and keep us happy! This is a great go-to Mexican restaurant for all gatherings, small or large, formal or casual, full meal or chips & drinks. Last time we were there with a group of about 15 people, we had Dylan as our server who took great care of us. Lots of areas on the sprawling property. Adults-only backyard with a huge screen, covered outdoor patio, inside bar, outside bar. Pick a seat and have a great time!

Not sure if there have just been a lot of renovations since the last time I've been here, but La Brisa has definitely become a must-go place if you're looking for good food with a great atmosphere. Briefly, the last time I came here was almost about 10 years ago. Back then I just remember it as being like any other tex-mex restaurant in terms of the general vibe and the quality of food. They did have a dedicated catering space for weddings and other large events which I thought was unique. However, this time, that has almost completely change. All of what I had mentioned remains. Though now there's also a large outdoor space in the back that is absolutely perfect for large events, especially game days of any sort. Words don't do it justice. There's plenty of seating, accessible bar, easy QR ordering, and plenty of TV screens and projectors that show whichever game you're there for. I came here to catch up with some friends. Like I said, it was a great atmosphere. We sat near a screen that was showing the Astros game. No problem at all finding seating. I believe we got there around 6-7 when the game had already began and there were no issues at all. Ordering through the QR code was straightfoward. I believe you can also order alcohol there as well. If not, then it's easy to just go to the bar nearby. Last thing I want to note - self-serve ice cream. Yes, you heard me right. Inside. Next to the catering area is self-service ice cream. And it's good stuff. Not any of that icy self-serve you get at some buffets. It's creamy and delicious. We camped there for two cones worth of ice cream each. Perfect way to end the night. Altogether, awesome vibes and great food!

I like Mexican cuisine, but I hate bars. Especially sports bars. I was dragged here against my will by my family. It's too loud and chaotic and it's always packed with smokers. Their menu is expensive, only a few of their appetizers are affordable. La Brisa Mexican Grill doesn't take reservations, it's a "first-come-first-serve" establishment. The staff are very nice. La Brisa Mexican grill have a vast selection of dishes, and for those of you who drink (NOT me), they have an extensive wine and margarita selection. La Brisa also serves breakfast. Our entire group loved our meals. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection with fresh ingredients. This is still NOT the best dining experience for everyone.

Fantastic!! Great service - I missed our server's name but she served us this weekend and had beautiful red highlights in her hair. She was phenomenal - timed everything (our drinks, our orders, our food, her check-in's, etc) superbly! Definitely recommend - generous portions, incredible flavors, great vibes. I love that dogs are allowed on the patio!

    Quesa-Birria Tacos

My husband and I just visited La Brisa Mexican Grill for a late lunch. The restaurant is beautiful and very spacious. As we sat down we got complimentary chips with salsa roja and verde, chips were store bought and the salsas were ok, the red one tasted fresh and spicy, and the green was not my favorite, it lacked flavor. The menu is more on the American side. Look, if you're looking for a sports bar to hang out with your friends, and have some tacos or share fajitas with this is your spot. Now if you come looking for an authentic Mexican culinary experience this is not the place. We ordered just the quesabirria tacos because we were super hungry, but nothing else really caught our attention. The quesabirria tacos were good, but I've tried better, the tortillas are not homemade and the birria lacked flavor, also the consomé birria was watered down. We also had charro beans, and they were pretty good. Service is quick, and staff is helpful.

In the mood for Mexican food! This place is huge both an indoor and outdoor bar. Indoor and outdoor seating. 3 banquet hall style rooms and a deck with large screens, games, and seating. What more can one ask for? I stopped in with a friend to catch a few college football games, and I'm glad I did. This place is such a vibe. The outside seating was more of a game day party atmosphere. The inside was your traditional restaurant setting. We asked the staff for some food recommendations and they did not disappoint. Both Anthony and Kirsten were absolutely amazing. So personable and attentive. We ordered the stuffed chicken and the bowl. Both are so delicious. The stuffed chicken had great flavor. I wasn't a fan of the spinach with it. The bowl was fresh and filling. I don't live near this restaurant and it breaks my heart because it was delicious. I know if I was in the area, I'd be here for game day, no questions asked. You can't really beat great food, good drinks, a nice atmosphere and good service.

Spinach Enchiladas Very good! Lots of flavor.

We had so many restaurant options but chose this place because of the high ratings... and I'm so glad we did. I'll be honest--when we first arrived, I wasn't impressed with the outside or the area. I was a little hesitant going in. But the moment we walked through the doors, everything changed. The place felt welcoming, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere--yes, a little loud--but in a good way. It's that lively Mexican vibe: music, micheladas, carne asada... all of it. We were just tired, so I think I noticed it more. Now let's talk about the food... I ordered the Maestro Plate but swapped the meat for short rib costillas--and OH. MY. GOSH. These were hands down some of the best costillas I've ever had. Juicy, tender, packed with flavor. I cleaned those bones completely--every single bite. The dish was served with perfectly grilled "nopales" and queso panela, que ricura! Ahhh, and of course the charro beans and rice that I barely made a dent in. The portions? HUGE. Two of us shared one plate and still had leftovers--and we can eat! Now this part says everything: my grandson, who is on the spectrum and very picky, ordered pollo asado... and he tore into it. No complaints, no hesitation--he finished his entire plate. That alone speaks volumes. My daughter had the birria (and she's a birria critic), and even she couldn't finish her plate because of how generous the portion was--but she said it was full of flavor and really good. My older grandson (big growing boy with an equally big appetite) had a birria quesadilla--again, huge portion--and even he couldn't finish it, which never happens. To top it all off, the owner surprised us with a complimentary dessert--warm, soft, pillowy sopapillas with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. The kids were FULL... and still devoured every last bite. Not a crumb left. And let's talk about pricing... honey. Compared to Austin? This was a steal. I was honestly shocked at how affordable it was for the quality and portion sizes. Amazing food, generous portions, great service, and a place that turned my hesitation into loyalty. They've earned our business--100%. We will absolutely be back next time we're in town.

Glad it did! First, the wait time - we showed up on a Sunday morning, right after some kind of race in the area. They told us the wait would be about 45 minutes to an hour, and we waited 55 minutes. No big deal - at least their estimate was accurate. But beware if you're on a time crunch on a weekend at brunch time :) Great hash! I had CHRISTINA'S TAMALE CAKES (Benedict), and loved it. It was top two of my meals in this visit to Texas. The carnitas were flavorful, the poached eggs were perfect, the corn bread base on the tamale wrapper was awesome. If I could improve the dish - and that would be hard to do - I would ask for a bit more of that delicious green chile Hollandaise sauce on top, which I would buy by the jug if I could. The smashed potatoes were excellent - very well seasoned and oiled and salty to go with the sweet from my main dish. My companion loved her hash dish and I scooped up some of her sauce to eat the last few bites of my cornbread. Loudness - This place was LOUD. They had a DJ spinning some great music choices - but I couldn't really converse with my wife during breakfast. I am well aware that I sound old and crotchety. I love the clubs - but this was like being in a club during brunch. Hygiene - The hostess at the front desk station was on her phone the entire 55 minutes we were waiting. When I asked her if I could get a Bloody Mary to save me from boredom during the wait - she told me to hang on. Then she sat on her phone and talked and texted for another 5 minutes or so. My wife dropped a pair of tongs on the floor from the Bloody Mary bar. Another lady picked them up, and told the lady behind the station that it had fallen on the floor. She didn't wash it - she just stuck them back in the jar where people are grabbing the food for their Bloody Marys. In hindsight - I don't know if I would have taken advantage of the endless toppings on the bloody Mary bar.

I noticed it was HUGE but I just thought they were generous with their drinks. When we received the check, I was charged $16.95 for this drink. I asked our server about the price difference and she stated "Oh, I gave you the Grande." OK, thank you but that's NOT what I ordered. Granted, maybe I didn't specify a size so that's my fault but she shouldn't have ASSUMED I wanted the grande size. It was too much for me so my husband had to finish it. I didn't make a big deal about it because I worked in the restaurant industry myself so I try to be kind and respectful but I think seems very sneaky to me. The server should ALWAYS ask what size they want and not assume they want the larger size. That's up-charging. I also wanted to mention that we received a FREE watermelon margarita on the rocks because I think they had an extra which we gladly accepted and weren't charged for. But that doesn't compensate for the $5 upcharge. Most people say I should have contacted the manager but I didn't want to make a big deal over $3 but it's the principle to me. It's just not honest and I don't like that. We still tipped her over 22% but I'm rethinking that now. Maybe I should have deducted that $5 from her tip since I think it was an intentional up-charge. Oh well... As far as the food, we ordered the brisket enchiladas. They were OK. We didn't love the barbeque drizzle on top of the sour cream sauce. It really threw off the flavor in our opinions so that was a bummer. The white queso, chips and salsa were all on-point! We go out to Tex-Mex restaurants every week and the other restaurants don't give us the larger size so it just seems sketchy. I don't think we'll be back for awhile because this left a bad taste in my mouth. Disappointing.

I have not ordered straight up fajitas yet but would hope they are better. The molé sauce on the enchiladas is pretty good. Chips and salsa are provided. I give lunch/dinner menu 3 stars. Bottom line - in my opinion, breakfast is better than lunch/dinner. I give breakfast four stars and lunch three stars. That averages to 3.5 hence the 4 star review. Bon appétit, y'all.
