We're not even big fans of anchovy, but this butter knocked it out of the park & was so dang delicious. - Butter Mussels: 5/5. OMG...A MUST. Couldn't stop thinking about these the whole night. It was the type of food you are speechless after the first bite. - Cauliflower Alla Romana: 5/5. Never had cauliflower prepared this way before. Crisp outside, soft inside, and wonderfully seasoned with spice and tang. Delicious. - Pasta Alla Chittara: 3/5. Been trying to find a cacio e pepe dish that comes close to what I had in Italy, but this fell short. It was also overwhelming salty on its own, but pecorino is a very salty cheese anyways. - Harissa Braised Pork Cheek: 5/5. Another dish that is eye opening with the first bite. Tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat that you will dream about having again. The polenta is also bomb and pairs so well. - Zucca: 4/5. Hearty with mild spice. It's filling, good to share, and it's like an upgraded version of spaghetti. - Tagliatelle: 5/5. Mushroom lovers... GET THIS. Absolutely yummy. Would order this again and again. Found this place via Sapphire reserved and what a sleeper hit of a restaurant! Soft, chewy, pizza, dough, delicious spaghetti Pomodoro, lemon Meyer pancakes with added cream were all delicious. We ordered the Radiatore pasta, the Caesar's salad, Pork Sausage Meatballs and Black Truffle Cala Cagna which, with apologies to the chef, was basically a sausage hot dog. This is one of the best overall,, mouthwatering meals that I have had a long time. The sauces were incredible, along with the butter or different types of butter for the bread service. I'm a diabetic so I have to watch my diet, but my dad went out the window. I could not resist all of these tasty delights. A complete meal!. read more

I had one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've ever had at Esther's Kitchen. I am a Type 1 diabetic and have dietary restrictions that prevent me from eating bread and many flour-based foods. I've eaten at countless restaurants and have never had an issue asking for a simple modification, such as removing a bun from a burger or serving a sandwich without bread. Today, I ordered a sandwich from the lunch menu and simply asked for it without the bread. The server came back and told me the chef refused because it would "compromise the integrity of the sandwich." I honestly couldn't believe what I was hearing. I wasn't asking for extra work or a completely different dish. I was asking them to leave off one ingredient because of a medical dietary restriction. At that point, there was very little on the menu that I could eat, so my family decided to cancel our meals and leave. A manager then came to our table, but instead of trying to help, she repeatedly told me to order eggs from the brunch menu. It was 2:30 in the afternoon, and I wanted something from the lunch menu. When I explained that, I felt like I was being talked down to rather than listened to. The entire interaction left me feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. What bothered me most was the complete lack of understanding and compassion. The menu specifically tells guests to inform staff of dietary restrictions, yet when I did exactly that, I was essentially told that the presentation of a sandwich was more important than accommodating a customer with a medical condition. I've never been made to feel like such an inconvenience for simply trying to find something I could eat. Between the refusal to make an incredibly simple modification and the dismissive attitude from management, this was an experience I won't forget, and not for good reasons. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone with dietary restrictions, celiac disease, or food allergies. I left hungry, frustrated, and honestly close to tears. I will not return. read more

If you go to Esther's Kitchen and don't get the bread, you've missed the mark. It's incredible--fresh, flavorful, and clearly their specialty. The butter it comes with is excellent, but the burrata and cannellini bean spread take it to the next level. The pork sandwich was also delicious--hearty and well-balanced. For dessert, we had the butterscotch budino and the apple spice cake, both of which were the perfect finish to our lunch. read more

Perfection! This place was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad I went! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. It can get a little loud inside so don't expect a quiet venue. The bread and the three spread, you can choose your spreads, was phenomenal! Highly recommend starting with their bread! We will definitely share this restaurant with friends because it was awesome! read more

I took my parents to Esther's Kitchen for my mom's birthday, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. We started with the charcuterie board, which was a perfect way to kick off the meal. I ordered one of the pizzas, and my mom and dad both had the shrimp Alfredo. Everything was absolutely exquisite. You can truly taste that everything is made from scratch, and the quality really comes through in every bite. The setting felt intimate while still having a warm, casual atmosphere that made it comfortable and welcoming. Our waitress was especially great. she helped us with recommendations for both drinks and food, and her suggestions were spot on. Overall, it was such a welcoming place and a perfect spot to celebrate a special occasion. I'll definitely be back. read more

When in Vegas, a meal at Esther's Kitchen is worth a trip off the Strip. Located in the Arts District, Esther's offers flatbreads, house made pastas, and a selection of entrees. Menu is seasonal. Make sure you order the sourdough bread with burrata. Chose the chitarra with cacio e pepe and romano. Trendy vibe and Italian specialties. Open kitchen. Service at hostess stand needs work. Not too friendly and not seating people, leaving areas empty. I counted up to seven at the bar and some other random seats. When I inquired I was given attitude. Not sure why. Noticed 4 men sat at the bar and there wasn't a party of 4 on the list. I paid attention to the waitlist, and I noticed that they seated a party of three ahead of me see the pictures. I'm not going to stick around and be treated poorly by a restaurant of this caliber . The food looked OK. I decided just to go to Tony Roma's where the love is and the food is excellent and the prices are very good so I left. Tried to call management about the issue but the girl (Becca), refused to allow me to speak to management. read more

Unless you plan on wasting your whole day here, go somewhere else. Our waitress was nonexistent to us but serviced the two tables on either side of us the whole time. My husband even left an empty water glass visible and a different waitress noticed before ours. The food took over an hour to arrive at our table after ordering. I even had to ask for a follow up. My pasta was undercooked and hard. The pizza was not worth the hassle. The best thing they had was the fresh strawberry lemonade. read more

I didn't catch her name, but I believe she was the manager--she wore glasses and was incredibly attentive to our needs. She even remembered us when we returned, which made the experience feel even more special. On our first visit, we ordered the Bread with anchovy butter (seriously amazing), the Meatball, Little Gem, Radiatore, and the Spaghetti. Every dish was outstanding. When we visited again, we just had to reorder the Bread with anchovy butter, along with the Chopped Salad Brunch, Brunch Pizza (OMG, so good), Spaghetti Pomodoro Brunch, and the Crab Benedict. Once again, everything exceeded our expectations. The food is phenomenal, and the customer service is absolutely exceptional. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place. Hopefully, the manager will still be there when we return! read more

Came here for lunch and had a great time. Got wayyyyy too much food! We tried the sourdough bread with 3x spreads. I got their Caeser salad with chicken, my coworkers got the chopped Italian salad and meatballs. Everything was amazing - ESPECIALLY the bread. The meatballs were huge. The chopped salad is DENSE - she could only finish half. And my Caeser was great but also had trouble finishing it after all the sourdough I had. No regrets!! Service was very friendly and efficient. The restaurant was beautiful and had the most interesting service ware - hand thrown pottery! I was hoping they had some for sale but alas.. prob better as I had zero room in my suitcase. read more

Used to be one of my favorite spots in Vegas. Now it feels like they expanded faster than they could keep up with. Tonight's meal was rough, and somehow I paid an absurd amount for a pasta dish that didn't even include protein. Impressive feat, honestly. The real accomplishment, though, was taking what should've been fantastic pasta and absolutely drowning it in an overpowering, pungent sauce. Bold strategy to make the sauce the only thing anyone remembers. After 4+ years of being consistently great, they've officially entered the "living off old reputation" phase. Vegas has way too many genuinely good restaurants now to make excuses for experiences like this. As a local, it's just fallen off my recommendation list. Hate to see it. read more

It was very busy so make sure to reserve a table , good thing they are located near so many thrift stores . We ordered special brunch burger , i forgot the name . Saw this place on Instagram or tik tok thought it would be nice to check it out. Made reservations for 1030 pm but meant a.m. so the wonderful young lady sat us. So nice of her. The place was very nice and we loved the decor. Very artsy. The food was wonderful my crab spinach Benedict was the best i ever had. My friends had no complaints. We stumbled upon this place after a date night at a show and decided to try it out. Since we didn't have a reservation we had to wait an hour, but it was totally fine since it's the art distract! We decided to walk around and see what's there. We got a text when it was time for our table. We were greeted by the staff and sat at the bar, our bartender was very friendly and helped us. Everyone on my feed hype up Esther's Kitchen so much, but honestly, it was kind of a mixed bag for me. Starting with the positives, the bar program is super rad, Frances made us some incredibly intricate, top-tier cocktails, and the homemade sourdough with those 3 spreads was literal perfection. However, the actual brunch food left me a bit disappointed for the price. The Meyer lemon pancakes were a completely weird style i've never had before and the texture just wasn't it, and while the crab Benedict had a perfectly poached egg, the crab flavor lowkey overpowered everything else. Dropping it to 3 stars because while the hip, homey vibe and drinks hit, the kitchen's execution on the mains definitely missed the mark for a true foodie read more

OMG. Where to start!? The service-top tier- Josh was phenomenal at explaining the menu and making recommendations. Food- show stopper. The bread, butter combos were the best app. The tagliatelle pasta- vegetarian dish, so good- but the real winner was the CASARECCE VERDE. My word. Get it now since it is seasonal and will leave. I will crave it for the rest of my life. Beer/cocktails- so so good. The tart cherry peach mead was to die for, and my husband loved the "cold shoulder" twist on an old fashioned. Guys. I had heard this place was fantastic but holy COW! It blew us away! Everything they make is homemade and you can really tell! We started off with drinks: she's my cherry pie and head in the clouds. The first one tasted like a yummy limeade. Recommend for its sweetness. The head in the clouds had a wild whipped egg whites which my husband enjoyed. Then we got the fresh bread with three sides: basil ricotta, nduja, and the bursts.The standout was the basil ricotta side. Bury me in that! It was fantastic. Then we got the diavola pizza. The bread was so good. All of their homemade bread items were intensely yummy. But my personal favorite was the cacio e pepe. The BEST I have ever had. If I had one last meal to eat for the rest of my life this is it! We got it with a side of chicken. Then as we were celebrating my husband's bday/our wedding we ended the meal with butterscotch budino. Light. Airy. The perfect dessert to end the meal. Kinasa was our server and she was absolutely fantastic! Super fast, friendly, and really wanted to ensure we had a great experience. 15/10. We got a car there so can't comment on parking but if you're staying on the strip trust me when I say this place is ABSOLUTELY worth the trip. read more

Esther's Kitchen had been a recommendation by a local while we were flying into Vegas and he insisted we had to get the bread and butter. We got a reservation for a larger group late on our last day in Las Vegas, and I wish I'd come to this area earlier in our trip. It's located in a cute little artsy downtown type area that is 8000 times better than anything along the Strip. While we waited for our table we ordered a drink from the upstairs bar. My Old Fashioned was average and got watered down pretty quickly, but oh well. When we were seated at our table, our server was super fun and friendly and did a great job with our kinda loud (to be fair, it's a loud restaurant) and large group. I ordered the spirit-free There and Back Again mocktail because Pathfinder is probably my favorite NA spirit. It was delicious as expected. We ordered some appetizers for the table, getting the bread with a few of the butter spreads and the Brussels sprouts. The bread/butter was very good, but I'm not sure it's anything crazy special that you couldn't get elsewhere. That's not saying I wouldn't recommend it if you like a bread and butter, it just didn't knock my socks off. I still ate plenty of it. The Brussels sprouts were a bit more disappointing - there were some of the really large ones that weren't cut and didn't cook super soft. Not terrible, just probably not something I'd order again. Choosing an entree was difficult because the menu all looked great. I was really craving something with Marinara, though, and hated to be boring and just get the spaghetti when I'm out trying a new restaurant. Our server insisted it was not your average spaghetti and worth ordering, so I did. Again, nothing to write home about. The pasta wasn't particularly al dente, and the sauce was good but not something mind blowing that I couldn't get elsewhere. It soothed my marinara craving, and I was happy to have it for leftovers in the morning before we departed. That said, everyone around the table enjoyed their order and overall the food was good. I'd been so excited since I saw the menu about their butterscotch budino - it is probably my favorite dessert ever. But sadly I was let down quite a bit. The whiskey caramel sounded like the best idea ever, but the dessert overall was so incredibly sweet (and I have a sweet tooth) that it overtook any flavor that was otherwise supposed to be in the dessert. Even the butterscotch was more like an overly sweet salted caramel. An utter let down, but they did have a tawny port that I also ordered (I went a little food wild while here, but when in Rome, right?) and it hit the spot. Overall, I still enjoyed my time and my food at Esther's Kitchen. I think perhaps the food is overhyped, but I like the ambience and the neighborhood. I'd recommend coming here and checking out the menu for yourself. read more

I was very excited to try Esther's Kitchen after seeing their number of reviews. We got a reservation for 2 and thank goodness for the reservation as it was packed when we left. I did not like how the interior of the restaurant was pretty dim. Maybe I'm just getting old but I had to pull out my phone's flashlight to read the menu. Our waiter was great and offered some recommendations since it was our first time dining here. She also ended up removing an item from our bill since we did not like it, which she totally did not have to do but we were very appreciative. The table was also really small. The food came out pretty fast but since we didn't have enough room on the table, they had to send the pizza back and waited for us to finish our salad and bread before they could bring it back. We've been here a few times but I thought I'd write a review now. The service was excellent and on point, and ambiance is nice and comforting. FYI: the pasta alla chittara has chicken stock and the only way we found out is because we asked our server what the best pasta was. We are vegetarian so this shocked us - the menu does not list chicken stock on the ingredients and definitely should. If a dish is not vegetarian friendly, that should be clearly stated on their menu as it's not fair. We ordered the following: Sourdough bread with butter, basil ricotta, burrata, and cannellini beans: the bread itself was delicious but we enjoyed the burrata and basil ricotta the most. The butter was very creamy and delicious too. The cannellini beans tasted a bit odd since this was new to our palette but was not disappointing. Margherita pizza: this was one of the best margherita pizzas in the LV area! The flavor was impactful but more importantly it was not doughy or burnt. Perfectly done. Rigatoni pasta: it was a bit too lemony and a bit too al dente. Otherwise, the flavor was there. Tajarin pasta: the pasta itself was alright. It was lacking taste and sadly the only way it tasted better was through adding parmesan cheese, crushed red pepper, and black pepper. This is the first time I've ever come here to pick up the food, and I must say the experience was excellent. As always the service was top notch. Jasmine at the front desk helped me place my order, help me find parking, And then help me get my order in a rapid fashion. She was professional, courteous, and absolute joy to encounter. The venue is just magical. I can't tell you how much I enjoy being inside of it. There aren't that many food venues where you just feel positive playful enjoyable energy, and this is one of those. I look forward to coming back many times. The food was spectacular as always. Chicken Parmigiana sandwich, pasta with sausage, meatball appetizer, and Caesar salad. Just terrific. What a wonderful dinner! First, our server Rachel was fantastic - she was super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The sourdough bread and spreads were delicious and fun to try. We loved the cambozola and the nduja; the cannellini beans tasted just like the description.... beans. The wagyu beef carpaccio is one of my new favorite things in life- the horseradish and capers hit perfectly. We sadly didn't enjoy the malloreddus pasta - it lacked the flavor the menu and Rachel described it as having and we couldn't tell if there was lamb in it. The red wine beef cheek with accompanying butternut squash polenta were perfect in every way. The meat was tender and had the perfect amount of sweetness. We finished with the basque cheesecake which is an unusual choice for us but it did not disappoint. The bits of crumble and chocolate paired perfectly with the softness of the cheesecake. Except for not being seated until ~20 minutes past our reservation time, this was a fantastic dinner. I absolutely loved the bread with butter flight! The pizza was perfectly balanced with a chewy crust and savory toppings. The star of the show was easily the fried pork belly. It was unbelievably juicy and tender, and just fell apart with a spoon. The very gentle fry gave it a slight crispy crust that perfectly contrasted the fatty, melty interior. The tropical coconut cocktail was also delicious and I could've easily downed another one. read more

I did not see one there nor were there any children there. Menu is basically pasta and flatbread both of which can appeal to children.

Can you eat at the bar?

Yes, your best bet is right at 5pm. After the seats are gone, it’s first come first served by checking in at the host stand. We have an auxiliary bar upstairs where you can just get drinks or wait for your seat or table.

Is there a private dining room for small parties?

I'd call into the restaurant as there was a staircase, but it was blocked off so your possibilities may be high

What is the corkage fee?

25 but if you buy a bottle we waive a bottle

We can modify 12 items on the menu to be vegan. All our servers can walk you through the. menu and what changes are made to the dishes.

It's pretty sparse since they make their in-house sourdough bread and pasta. I remember they have a cauliflower all's romana with anchovies, chili, spices and garlic- just ask for no breadcrumbs

Absolutely! We had my sister's wedding dinner here and they were great with our group of about 10. Definitely add it to the notes when you make your reservation, and try to make it far in advance.

Sure, it is known; however, it was surprisingly not that busy for a Friday. We were seated at a shell like booth and this space between the back side of the Players Club and the Cash cage, is a lovely and elegant place. Is it expensive? yes. Most other fine establishments are also expensive in Vegas. It is what it has become. Is that good? Probably not; however, it does give you the opportunity to experience something unique and special. Although we had one server, the servers worked very well together throughout our 90 minutes here and really team assisted with each other. Between the two of us, we had three drinks. You can page through the very detailed menu, and I decided to have the Passion's Serenade drink, which was a glass partially frozen with a coconut and passionfruit puree and then also had some chocolate rum, vanilla and fresno chili. It was a delicious drink, and actually was a great "sit back and wait" drink, because it took a while for the frozen portion to melt. The experience comes with some complimentary bar snacks and then some complimentary mini jello shots on the way out. The check is presented in an exquisite "Vault" Type of book. Esther's Kitchen had a lot of bright spots and a few misses, but overall it was a really enjoyable meal with some seriously memorable dishes. The service was great from start to finish. The servers and food runners were very attentive, and the whole place had a really nice vibe inside. I loved the wood finishes throughout the restaurant and the slightly rustic feel. It made the space feel warm without trying too hard. The sourdough bread to start was amazing. Soft, warm, and pillowy inside with a perfect crunch on the outside without being so hard that it felt like it was going to break your teeth. We got the three dips with it: basil ricotta, cannellini bean, and fegatini. The basil ricotta was easily the standout. Light, fresh, and super flavorful. The cannellini bean dip wasn't really for me though. It felt a little dry and the flavor didn't do much for me. The butter lettuce salad was one of my favorite bites of the meal. Super refreshing, with ripe peaches that were sweet but not overly sweet, candied pecans for texture, and Gorgonzola that added just enough richness without taking over. It was balanced really well. The cauliflower was also so tasty. Great flavor, a little kick, but not too spicy. It still had a good crunch and honestly reminded me of a more refreshing take on calamari. For mains, the branzino was great. Loved the flavor and it was cooked perfectly. The roasted mushroom pizza was good too, especially the combination of mushrooms and potatoes, but the real winner was their newer peach and prosciutto pizza. Perfect for lunch, super refreshing, and such a good sweet-and-salty combo. The crust was amazing too. You can really taste the difference in the three-day sourdough crust. The rigatoni was the biggest miss for me. It felt dry, lacked flavor, and I just didn't really enjoy it. Dessert was the Basque chocolate cheesecake. It was really good, but a little rich for me. I got over it pretty quickly, but someone with more of a sweet tooth would probably love it. Overall, Esther's Kitchen has a lot going for it. The bread, salad, cauliflower, branzino, and peach prosciutto pizza were all highlights, and the service and atmosphere made the experience even better. A few things weren't my favorite, but the good dishes were strong enough that I'd definitely come back and order more intentionally next time. read more

I dined at Esters Kitchen last night and left impressed with the quality of the food but slightly disappointed with the service. Let's start with the positives - the food was absolutely amazing. Each dish was expertly crafted, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and freshness. From the bread to the pasta and pizza, every bite was a culinary delight that left me wanting more. However, our experience at the bar was a bit underwhelming. Our server was new, and the service was slow and somewhat disorganized. We were very patient with him bc he told us he was new. However, when I wanted to order another glass of wine, he seemed to have disappeared for a while. Adding to the delay, when a group of ladies attempted to order drinks, another bartender informed them that he wasn't their assigned bartender and that they would need to wait until their actual bartender finished clearing plates. The food runners kept trying to deliver the wrong food to us, saying the food tickets were mixed up. Overall, despite the service hiccups, I still had a great dining experience at Esters Kitchen. The exceptional quality of the food earns it a solid four stars in my book. On my visit, the restaurant was packed and luckily we had a reservation to avoid the walk in wait. Esther's has a wide variety of food and I would suggest everything is best enjoyed family style. Standouts from my visit included the sourdough bread with your choice of dip and the Spaghetti and meatballs. My party opted for the fegatini, burata, and basil ricotta dips. Out of all, my personal favorite was the burata. Definitely give the spaghetti and meatballs a try if you're looking for a classic dish done well. While the food was great, we did encounter some hiccups with misplaced orders, however the service staff fixed them quickly and even offered comping the item for the inconvenience. This is a follow-up to my previous review of Eater's Kitchen. I initially gave it 5 out of 5 stars, but after returning twice, I've been left disappointed--especially during my most recent visit. The sourdough, once complimentary, is now $4. While surprising, it's not a big deal since I still enjoy it. However, the cost-cutting trend and a sense of a money grab became more noticeable as the night went on. We returned for the Branzino, which I've told everyone is the best in town--even better than Cipriani's. To my disappointment, it's no longer served as a whole fish. It's now just a fillet, bland and lacking the same wow factor. We also tried the beef shoulder pasta, which was fine, but the overall experience left me with nothing to rave about and no reason to return. After so much hype (literally every Vegas food blogger + my mom + her friends) raved about this place; we had to give it a try. Some friends joined us for dinner last night, 07/20. Right when we walked in we were hit in the face with heat. The restaurant felt like a sauna. We assumed other people asked to the lower the AC before us but to our surprise, the waiter said no one had (which is hard to believe.) And whatever he did, didn't help. We started with the cauliflower and something with stuffed beets, both delicious. For days I was thinking about the cacio e pepe. A simple, classic dish but most importantly, homemade pasta!
