This was my first visit to Esther's and will certainly not be my last. This is yet another gem in the arts district. The tree house like bar upstairs is a great place to wait while you wait for your table. If you are a dirty martini fan be sure and check out the Blue N Lonesome, fantastic! It is a good idea to get a reservation, as there is a typically a line before the door even opens. The staff is welcoming and helpful with suggestions on the menu and cocktails. Food wise, I would suggest Cauliflower Alla Romana, Baked Nduja Butter Mussels, and Beef and Pork Meatballs. This is by far one of my must visits on each trip to Vegas moving forward, check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Esther's is still one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Vegas. The food is consistently good and the service is also the same. We came for lunch on a Friday with reservations and were seated within a couple of minutes. We ordered a bunch of pizza and pasta to share. I must say, the pizza here has gotten even better since I last tried it. That 3-day sourdough be hittin. The only thing that I was not amazed with however, was the radiatore pasta. It was just too acidic for my taste, like the lemon was too overpowering. Our server later told us that the sauce was all lemon juice. If you don't like that acidic/tart taste in your pasta, stay away from this one. Otherwise. All the other dishes were excellent. My favorites were the sausage and kale pizza and the cacio e Pepe. The dessert was also amazing. Definitely recommend Esther's kitchen for a good time and great food.

Esther's Kitchen will always be one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. The food is delicious and the cocktails are fresh. The service is always friendly and the servers seem to enjoy guiding you through the menu to ensure a wonderful dining experience. On this visit, we ordered the cauliflower appetizer, Cacio e Pepe, the Brussels sprouts, and the beet pasta special. The cauliflower is spicy and has a bite to it that is a great way to start your meal. The Brussels sprouts are crispy. The pastas here are made in house so they're always fresh and cooked perfectly. Make a reservation ahead of time as they are extremely popular and busy!

Wowzers!! This place was amazing from start to finish. The hospitality and skills to craft a top tier cocktail from Frances at the bar was the prototype of the perfect bartender, she was super welcoming and knowledgeable. We took her recommendations and went with the Meyer lemon pancakes and the crab Benedict. Both were packed with flavors , you can tell true artistry and love made these dishes. The pancakes were a style of pancakes I've never had and the Benedict was my packed with crab topped with a perfectly poached egg. We also started with the homemade sourdough and 3 spreads all were tasty but the house butter stole the show for me. The cocktails were delicious and super intricate we had 4 of them and all were different and delicious, super rad bar program. The place is nice and clean with a home feel and hip vibe. Make a reservation if you plan to come here This was definitely top 3 restaurants I've ever been to. Hats off to the Chefs and their team. I can't wait to go back and visit Huge shout out to Frances for making it a great dinning experience. Thank you for the Bday lavender affogato for my wife, that thing was incredible!

Came by for brunch as a walk-in and was seated in under an hour. The host was helpful and gave helpful recommendations for the menu. We started with the half-loaf sourdough bread, which was larger than expecte. The butter and spread it came with were good. Honestly, that alone was a lot of food before we even moved onto our entrees: the meatball burger and a pasta dish. The flavors overall were good, but it was a very heavy meal. Pro-tip: I'd recommend just ordering one "appetizer" (like the bread) and sharing one entree, otherwise it's just too much. The only recommendation for the restaurant was the service after we were seated. It was pretty tough to get a hold of anyone between the server's initial check-ins, to the point where I actually had to walk up to the kitchen to ask for things we needed. Great food and portions, just prepare for a heavy meal.

Great food, great drinks and great atmosphere! Esther's Kitchen is located in the heart of the Arts District. Surrounded by coffee shops, bars, and local businesses. If you're in the mood for Italian and are looking for a spot to have a business lunch or a first date, I'd recommend Esther's Kitchen. Our server was attentive, helpful (with my indecisive dad), and prompt with our requests!

Why have we waited so long to indulge!!!! Great vibes, great service and the fooooooood!!! The Red Wine Braised Beef Cheek with pot roast vegetables, harissa polenta, and lavender was DEEE-LICIOUSE so tender, so moist, fall apart in your mouth greatness! To say the least! And the Pachamamma Pork Chop with pine nut calabrian chili crisp, butcher beans, and greens was our delight! We requested a bottle of Chianti wine and they did not have one on the menu so our server made a suggestion and we went with it, what an amazing choice it was! To say the very least, Esther's kitchen did not disappoint! We will be back!

We were out and about in Vegas one night and we wanted to grab some Italian food and we just happen to get reservation to Esther's. We were so lucky that we did get a reservation because the food and experience was great! When we arrived, we were informed that we had booked our reservation for the wrong date, but they helped us get a table which we really appreciated. Once seated, our server greeted us and he was super friendly and high energy. What we really appreciated was when he went through the menu providing us with recommendations, he also shared his perspective on some dishes that didn't really stand out for him. This really helped us narrow down our order. We ordered the sourdough bread, a margherita pizza, the beef cheek, mussels, butter lettuce salad, and the Zucca. All the dishes were perfectly seasoned and balanced. The sour dough bread was crusty yet fluffy. We ordered the basil ricotta, anchovy butter, and the fegatini. The fegatini was rich and mild. The anchovy butter was briny and savory, but not overwhelming. The basil ricotta was good, but the flavors were a bit too mild for me. The margherita pizza was what I was hoping for in a pizza. The crust was crusty and tender. There was also the right amount of sauce and toppings. The Zucca and it was a very robust dish. The past was perfectly al dente and the dish was quickly consumed. The mussels were very tasty and a bit spicy. After squeezing some lemon juice on each mussel, all the mussels quickly disappeared from the dish. Lastly, the beef cheek. The beef cheek was perfectly braised where the beef shredded easily and was tender, but didn't fall apart. Given that the cheeks were glazed, we were concerned that it would be overly sweet. To our surprise, the glaze, though sweet, was done very well. Pairing the beef with the polenta resulted in the perfect bite. Overall, it was one of the best meals we have had in a while. Esther's will definitely be on our list the next time we are in town.

I went here one other time and enjoyed a nice meal with some friends. I forgot to write a review then. We came back today with 2 others. One alcoholic drink, 1 strawberry lemonade, one app to share and 3 entrees -= $131. A slight high for brunch, food was fresh and made to order. Brunch portions were big, pasta was small with minimal chicken. My sangria was good, my eggs Benedict was good and lots of crab in there. The pasta was good but chicken was minimal to the order. Wait staff were amazing. Our waiter provided good recommendations and we ordered all the items he recommended. There's a person who was taking away plates and refilled our water glasses were attentive but she's a bit heavy handed as she elbowed one of my friend while clearing the table and while refilling the glass, she spilled. She even look so serious and should relax as it was 10:30am and didn't have to be right at our table when the glass was getting low of water. Ambience was nice. We sat right below the cocktail area in the corner and got a nice view of the whole restaurant. Warm lighting. They have a bar and tables all around on the other side. Parking is street paid parking so be ready it's about $3 per hour

Another tough review. Reviews have been so great and we were really looking forward to trying Esther's Kitchen. After all we loved High Steaks twice (same chef). Decided to go for a birthday celebration with a party of 5. The design and decor is trendy and a perfect fit for the arts district. No complaints. Staff was exceptional and friendly. Sat next to the bar, music so loud hard to hear our waitress and each other. Table next to us was a stand only table so had a view of some dudes back side at eye level the entire meal. While the food presented well and looked amazing, flavors were just OK. Curry pasta was so spicy it was just a spicy taste lacking other actual flavor. The Zucca was dense and heavy and flavor was just pasta with sauce, not exciting. This sums up everything. The carpaccio was heavy horseradish forward and salty salty salty from the capers. Not great, but good. The big turn offs, yes plural... 1) Chipped plates. Really???? Like badly chipped. Don't like this at all. 2) 3 of the party of 5 were up between 3-5am in the restroom. Not sure the connection but wasn't pleasant. While we liked the ambiance and staff, food middle of the road. Likely will not return.

Made a reservation to dine in on a Sunday at lunch time and it was pretty busy. This is a seasonal restaurant and they make the pasta, bread, and pizzas in house. Got the sourdough bread with Beet Conserva, Nduja, and Basil Ricotta spreads as a shared appetizer. For entrees we got the Radiatore al Limone and Crab and Spinach Benedict. All the food tasted yummy, had great flavors, and tasted fresh. I want to come back and try the pizzas.

The best meal I had in Vegas, with one of the best dishes I've recently had! Just gonna jump right in with the highlights of the Tallagatel and anchovy butter. Both were phenomenal, I was literally texting someone while at dinner telling them how good the anchovy butter was because I couldn't believe how perfect it was. And the pasta, if I could only have one pasta dish ever again, it might be that. The umami was uneal. On to everything else, we had a large group and decided to go family style with most of the ordering so we could try a good variety of the menu. For apps we got the sourdough bread and butter, and tried 5 of the butters/spreads. Aside from the anchovy butter, the nduja and basil ricotta were a big hit. We also ordered mussels and tuna crudo, which I loved. For mains we got a Diavola pizza for the table, crab pasta, Tallagatel, Cacao e Pepe, and Tortellini. The crab pasta was another favorite, but the Cacao e Pepe and Tortellini fell short for me. Only two flops out of everything else isn't too shabby though. Service was great and so were the drinks and wines! After dinner we hit their speakeasy bar up top and enjoyed some of the other fun and different cocktails. We sat at the bar and had a great time chatting it up with the bartenders.

Ask the Community - Esther's Kitchen

Do they have a kids menu?

I did not see one there nor were there any children there. Menu is basically pasta and flatbread both of which can appeal to children.

Can you eat at the bar?

Yes, your best bet is right at 5pm. After the seats are gone, it’s first come first served by checking in at the host stand. We have an auxiliary bar upstairs where you can just get drinks or wait for your seat or table.

Is there a private dining room for small parties?

I'd call into the restaurant as there was a staircase, but it was blocked off so your possibilities may be high

    What is the corkage fee?

25 but if you buy a bottle we waive a bottle

Is there really _only_ one vegan option? :-(

We can modify 12 items on the menu to be vegan. All our servers can walk you through the. menu and what changes are made to the dishes.

What are the gluten free options? And do you guard against cross-contamination (for those of us with celiacs)?

It's pretty sparse since they make their in-house sourdough bread and pasta. I remember they have a cauliflower all's romana with anchovies, chili, spices and garlic- just ask for no breadcrumbs

Would you recommend for this spot for a graduation dinner? I have only been for brunch

Absolutely! We had my sister's wedding dinner here and they were great with our group of about 10. Definitely add it to the notes when you make your reservation, and try to make it far in advance.

    Do you offer gluten free?

Esther's Kitchen downtown does have some gluten-free options :)

What is the average wait time to get any seating for dinner on weekends for walk-ins? I've given up on trying to get reservations as it's always booked?

i walked in at about 11am on a Saturday with 30 minutes wait time. can't speak for dinner though

    Is it kid friendly?

    Yes

Is there a trick to getting a brunch reservation? The website for rest keeps showing an error and I have called a few times but keep getting a voicemail which I did leave a message?

Great question! The trick is - you can set a same day reservation using the Resy app. Sometimes you can call too, but if they're busy (often), they might not get to the phone unfortunately. Good luck! Also... Al Solito Posto in Summerlin has a… Read more

    Do you need reservation?

Not always, but it is definitely recommended.

    Is there a happy hour?

    Not currently at Esther's

Does Esther's Kitchen allow service animals in main dining area?

    Only on their patio area.

    Do they do Separate checks?

    Yes, up to 4 ways.

Have they moved to there new location yet?

No. According to this article.… Read more

Do they take walk-ins? Or you must have a reservation?

Yes! You can always try to swing a seat at the bar ☺️ but, reservations are always the move...

Hi! Will you cut and serve a cake brought by us for a birthday?

Call ahead and advise them, and they will do that for you.

Does the restaurant have its own parking lot?

No, arrive early so you can find street parking.

Can I bring my dog on the patio?

Heck ya! We love puppies and the weather is great too! Come sit on the patio, no worries

Sure, it is known; however, it was surprisingly not that busy for a Friday. We were seated at a shell like booth and this space between the back side of the Players Club and the Cash cage, is a lovely and elegant place. Is it expensive? yes. Although we had one server, the servers worked very well together throughout our 90 minutes here and really team assisted with each other. Between the two of us, we had three drinks. You can page through the very detailed menu, and I decided to have the Passion's Serenade drink, which was a glass partially frozen with a coconut and passionfruit puree and then also had some chocolate rum, vanilla and fresno chili. The experience comes with some complimentary bar snacks and then some complimentary mini jello shots on the way out. The check is presented in an exquisite "Vault" Type of book. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would return again in the future. Expect drink prices to range from about $30 to $70, with some even higher for the "market price" drinks.

The highlight of this evening was this hidden speakeasy cocktail bar inside the Bellagio!…read more Paisley greeted us as we entered The Vault and let us know that without a reservation we only had the option of seats at the bar. We've have awesome experiences watching bartenders before AND we were determined to stay so we happily agreed. Paisley was a delight to chat with as we waited for only 10 minutes while seats opened up for us at the bar. I also got to check out the restroom, which boasts a high tech toilet with automated opening/flushing and a heated seat! We had the pleasure of meeting Michael our bartender and Yesi the bartender apprentice, and regulars Bill and Kim from Texas on one side of us, and Mario from California on the other as we spent the next hour and half savoring one luxury cocktail each and some complimentary snacks (seasoned pistachio nuts, cheesy crackers, and a little amazing bite that I can't remember the ingredients of). Welcome complimentary drinks: "Key to my heart" -- fun little rum drinks to start off with served in a spherical black case surrounded by dry ice! (See video). A bit sweet for my taste but tasty and just a little shot's worth (to be sipped). Cocktails: La Vie En Rose: (5/5) Rose infused gin, house made strawberry infused sweet vermouth, aperol, orange essence. Gorgeous spherical ice cube with a real flower frozen inside). Described as a summer Negroni. I chose it because I love Negronis and am always up for trying a variation on a classic like that. The Fountain (5/5): bourbon, Punt e mes vermouth (55 year old bottle!), orange essence. The Vault's take on the classic Manhattan. Michael gave us a taste of the punt e mes sweet vermouth and it was sublime. Both spectacular cocktails were definitely made for sipping and savoring. And to top it off! Little espresso shots at the end....mmm delectable dessert my bites to complete a flawless experience. We'll be back! Michael is a masterful mixologist and Yesi is an awesome apprentice! Highly recommend!
