She talked me through all the steps she was taking and even stopped to ask me if I had any questions. She explained everything so thoroughly that every time she checked in, I really had nothing more to ask! It was my first time getting a microneedling treatment and my skin has been feeling good and I'm hoping the results will show more as I continue the treatment. I'm super interested in setting up a package plan with Ping when I decide to go back. Ping will take great care of you and leave no questions unanswered. I found it very pleasant, informative and non-pressuring at all. I appreciate the referral to consult with Ping, the Esthetician. Ping, right from the first meeting, was very kind, great at making me feel comfortable and familiar with the place. She was very thorough, asked questions without being intimidating and explained every step as she went through the process. She was even apologetic for being so thorough, to which I would say, it's great when you have someone who does than not, so the client can be an informed and active partner in the treatment process. Ping has great bedside manners. Not everyone in the medical fields does and it's important to me. She's very professional and seems to really care about her client. She's checked on how I was doing many times during the procedure. I left the clinic, feeling at ease. The next day, Ping followed up on how my skin was doing. Such a great gesture and let me know that she's always reachable between visits should I have any questions. I will continue/update my review after next visits. For now, I want Maricar and Ping to know that I appreciate them both.

Services with Mia: I started to go to Mia for monthly facials leading up to my wedding day. I alternated between a handful of facials- SKINLAB hydrofacial, dermaplane facial, and signature- and always walked out feeling like a brand new person. From my first appointment, Mia was friendly, knowledgeable, and walked me through the whole process and what to expect. She always starts off the appointment asking about how my skin has been doing, and if there are any concerns, she makes her recommendations, tells me what she sees, and gives me samples of products to try until I saw her again. Not sure if this was a membership perk, but it really shows how they care about selling you the right products for your skin type. I asked how how long it will take, she said about two hours (90 minutes facial and 30 minutes eyebrow tinting), however, I felt like after the eye brows tinting, the facial part was maybe just about an hour, where did the other half an hour go? Did she spend one hour to get my eyebrows tinted? Or was I pushed to pay more $$ but not really get the real value here?

I had also tried various recommended skincare from Sephora and other beauty influencers on Instagram, but none of them seemed to work. On a whim, I asked my skincare-addict friend if she had any recommendations, and she said her friend had gone to this place in Fremont that does acne extractions that she spoke highly of. Before this, it hadn't even crossed my mind to see an aesthetician for my acne. Karen was my aesthetician, and she performed a manual acne extraction + other hydrating treatments afterwards. I'm not going to sugar coat it, the extraction HURTS! But it's only in the moment of the extraction, it doesn't keep hurting afterwards. Karen was as gentle as she could be, but also meticulous. I felt as if she was digging into every one of my pores (in a good way)! After years of struggling with acne, I decided to bite the bullet and just trust the process with Karen. Instead of other facial places, I don't have to pick and decide for myself which treatment I want -- Karen takes in the current state of my face with every visit and suggests the treatment that she thinks is the best. It took a little while to fully see the results, but it was so worth it! After a few months, I already started see a reduction in my normal acne. In around year or two, I not only barely had any acne, my skin was so much healthier, and I swear my pores seemed to have shrunk! This is no doubt a splurge on myself (I now routinely go in for monthly facials), but has honestly been so worth it. Based on the reviews, it sounded like they did a really good job, so we decided to give them a try. Threading is only $12 which is a great price. When we got there, we tapped the bell and a lady came out and asked what service we needed. We told her my daughter needed eyebrow threading before her senior pictures. She sat my daughter down and asked what look she wanted. We basically just said to clean them up and shape them to fit her face naturally. My daughter was nervous since she thought threading might hurt or that she could get nicked, but she said it actually wasn't very painful at all and there were no nicks! Definitely way faster and better than plucking. Her brows came out really nice and natural. We'll definitely be back for her next threading appointment. They also offer Henna, and the sample pictures they had displayed looked really beautiful and detailed.
