I am very disappointed in my visit last week. I used to love Udis ( now Etais) but the quality of the food was not good. Its been several years since I was there and was hoping for a newer menu and the amazing food I was accustomed too. This has become a regular for us. We visit Stapleton often and almost always go to Udi's for a light lunch. This time we each (four of us) had a different meal. I had the ginger chicken salad, which was delicious. My wife had the asian chicken salad, which she loved. The other two had the green chile burrito and a huevos ranchero. Both said they were excellent. We also enjoyed their freshly squeezed orange juice. Yumm. The people who work their are always helpful and patient with a smile on their faces. On October 3, 2017 @ 4:53 pm, ordered a cheese burger with GRILLED onions. I took a 2go box & bit into the sandwich to find raw onions (which irritate my tongue & the roof of my mouth). I put my condiments atop the bottom bun, so I never saw the raw onions. I pitched it immediately because I was in a working meeting. When the meeting was done, I went back to the restaurant & told the manager that my burger had RAW onions on it. She responded that the grilled onions were under the melted cheese - then turned around & continued with whatever she was doing. I should not have to inspect my sandwich BEFORE eating. A burger, soda & slice of very dry carrot cake cost me nearly 20 bucks. In other words, I spent $20 for a soda & a slice of cake. The staff was pleasant. But not getting the order right and then dismissing the complaint - not my idea of good food OR good service. read more

Updated review: Upon leaving my previous review, I was immediately contacted by Sara, the GM of etai's Stapleton. She was apologetic, and wanted to better understand everything that happened Sunday. Sara took time to listen to the problem, and did everything a great manager should do to make it right and get us to give etai's another try. Thank you Sara for the five star customer service! etai's at the Denver Int'l Airport We had such a good experience that we hoped to eat here again on the way home, however, no such luck. They are GF friendly, and the food was DELICIOUS, FRESH, and hot! The staff were very accommodating for my special diet (allergies) and the line moved very quickly. Free WiFi, everything on the menu sounds awesome, they serve beer, super casual space and they're totally cool with you working there all day even though it doesn't really have that cafe vibe. Good food with pretty decent portions. I also liked that they seem to have a decent mix of health food and "regular" food. Which is great for going out with a large group of people with mixed dietary needs. I tried their Cuban bowl and I loved it. The roasted plantains were delicious mixed with the beans and rice. I also tried their chicken green chili and I thought it was pretty good too! This place worked out well as a lunch spot to go to after picking up family at DIA since it's a crowd pleaser and on our way home to Fort Collins. read more

Got a smoothie here and it was barely blended, basically half banana chunks and undrinkable. Another time I was here and had gluten free toast that was decent, and had the vegan salad that was decent but unremarkable. I will not return. read more

My wife and I visit Udi's for Saturday breakfast three or four times a year during the warmer months when we go to the Sweet William Market. We really like the casual, family atmosphere of the place. They have very tasty pastries and egg dishes. The pancakes and french toast look delicious, but for some reason we've never tried them. The fresh fruit is always the best. My personal favorite is Juan's Smothered Burrito with chorizo, and my wife is partial to the granola with yogurt and fresh fruit. She likes their selection of teas. The only knock I can make is that it can sometimes get pretty crowded and hectic, especially when two or three yuppie mummies and daddies track through with their sport utility strollers. They really oughta leave those things outside. Through it all, the counter people and servers stay happy, friendly and helpful. read more

It makes me so sad to write this, because I really do love the food! But the service is terrible! I've had food items missing from my order, cashiers saying nasty comments and even after driving back for a missing entree, the server tossed the bag in my face! We stopped in last night for some sandwiches and drinks. I always love Udis. Never had a bad experience before. Tonight though. My grandfather ordered a Classic Burger. "They were out of Buns" I ordered a "NEW" Falafel Burger. What a great idea. A huge falafel on a bun! They were out of the Brioche bun for that burger as well!! I asked for what would be the closest to a burger bun. There was around 5 employees each chiming in their opinion. Finally I look at the manager which there was 2 of on duty just standing there. She says get the challa bread. So I trust her! So when the food comes out the bread is way to thin for a juicy burger. My grandfather took one bite and the whole thing fell apart. Luckily he isn't a complainer and let it slide. The bread "WORKED OK." for my burger. But it is a dry falafel. I see at least 5 employees standing around and the 2 managers hanging out, going back and forth to the office together. Let me ask you this. Why can't you have 1 of the 5 employees standing around head over to King Soopers and grab some Udis bread and buns off the shelves since they are doing nothing else. And you are a "BREAD CAFE" that is out of bread!!! I Don't know what to think!?!?!?! read more

I will keep this one short because it's just etais and most people have been here. It's good food and a good price. Nice staff. Clean and neat inside and out. Have eaten here many of times and never had abs bad experience. It easy to get to and lots of parking around. Come here often when I don't want to cook and need soothing quick for family or friends. Don't have to make a reservation. Seating can be limited for just a moment during dinner time but does not happen often where you can find seating. read more

I have given Udi's a few chances but find myself slightly underwhelmed. The sandwiches are generally tasty but somewhat undersized - if I'm laying out nine bucks for a sandwich, I either expect a stomach buster (or to be in Vail.) Also, it would be nice to order a frosty draft beer with my sammy. Which reminds me - I used to swipe beer when I sacked groceries. I'd just toss cases of the stuff out with the trash and then drive around in back when my shift ended and pick it up. I'll bet I swiped / drank 30 cases of Little King Cream Ale. Do they still make that stuff? Anyway, the shift manager Rod (who looked like Vlad the Impaler) reprimanded me one time, which really steamed me. But he didn't tell the owner, which didn't surprise me. The trunk of his K-Car was already packed with jumbo cans of nacho cheese, dog food and Kessler! Hypocrite! You should've seen this geek. A white guy named Rod driving around in a burgundy K-Car listening to "Tougher Than Leather" at maximum volume on his Kraco. Last time I saw him (at the dog track) he said we should get together for beers. Please! I'd rather drive across West Texas in August with Dick Cheney and Crispin Glover in a wind-powered Yugo! Starting with the good stuff, you must try the Colorado Queen AMAZING pastry!! Bummed they are no longer Udis but I understand. For a quick in and out cafe this place rocks. I've only done breakfast at this locations and it's nothing to run home and tell mom about but breakfast is a hard crowed pleaser. The juices are awesome, try the grasshopper!! The staff never has pick up orders on time, and there have been multiple times I've wanted to talk to the managers but haven't felt like it's worth it. One of the few delivery options in Stapleton so we eat here often. Love the chicken dip, chicken shawarma, burger, and sweet potato fries. Breakfast is also good. That being said, what happened to the power salad? The dressing is all wrong and the old one with the lemony zingy yumminess isn't even available anymore. Had the salmon sandwich with quinoa as a side. The salmon was moist and not dry, the bun fluffy and toasted perfectly, and the wasabi sauce was spiced perfectly. Great customer service, hot fresh meals and affordable. Etai's is much like a deli/panera bread establishment however with a different vibe. I ordered a salmon wrap and sweet potato fries and I was impressed. The salmon was not at all fishy and the salsa and slaw paired with the wrap was divine. This is a good udi's! Great location and plenty of outdoor seating. I had the salmon sandwich and it was very tasty and fresh. My cousin had a turkey sandwich and enjoyed that as well. It was very fast service which was nice since he was heading to the airport from there. My only complaint is it was a little loud and full of little kids running around inside. We were able to sit outside on a nice November day. I will certainly return and want to try their flafel burger. read more

Woah... The huevos rancheros on a fried tortilla..YUM!! (you can opt to get it on I think some sort of bread- but no.) Breakfast was so good. My plate was spotless when I left. The only thing is that their coffee sucks. I was disappointed. It's from one of those little thermal dispensers.. it was just gross. For dinner and lunch items I dig a lot of things on the menu.... What irks me completely is the breakfast. This is the second and last time.... We all ordered breakfast sandwiches and everyone's was all nice and toasted and I ordered mine gluten free- not toasted slopped together sandwich. First of all, gluten free bread is nasty if it's not toasted and secondly why is the regular bread toasted and not mine? I just ate the crappy piece of meat that came on the sandwich and threw the rest away. You would think that especially since you pay more for gluten free options, which is fine, that the same consideration in preparation would be taken as if I were not gf. If that's normal practice it should be let known to patron they are getting a non toasted sandwich that tastes gross. read more
