Ambiance: Came here with my co-workers after our hike. It was perfect. They have plenty of outdoor seating and it was a pleasurable experience sitting outside. Taste test: I wanted to be healthy so I got the Napa chicken sandwich without the bun and Ceaser salad on the side. The chicken was well done and flavorful. I thought I would miss the fries but I did not. The dressing they use is delicious and fresh. This meal was more than filling and I would definitely get again. Eureka has totally been letting me down lately. the past 3 visits have been blah! service and quality is not the same. I can definitely sympathize on days when its short staffed and busy but when I can see alot of staff hanging around and chatting but I have crap service, then I definitely get mad. all 3 of my past visits, no water refills, food arrives but no silverware gets brought to the table until 15+ minutes after and by then my food is cold. My go to items are naked jalapeño egg burger with fries, truffle cheese fries, Mac and cheese balls, and chicken nachos to share. barely any greens were included with my naked burgers, less fries than usual, and 2/3 times my food arrived soggy and cold. bummed about these occurrences. hopefully things get better. read more

It's located conveniently near a large parking structure (free parking) which is great for taking in the area before or after your meal. Plenty of street parking too. Like most people, I enjoy eating out. As a life long overeater, I pride myself on being knowledgeable about food; though I hesitate to call myself a foodie, I am loaded with a fair amount of condescension. Severs are trained to know the menu, lend advice, and help you choose. It's best not to ask your server about the nutritional value of every item on the menu, they are servers after all, but on the most basic level, they should know what's available to dine and drink. Every server interaction communicates to guests, whether by design or default. When restaurant staff are not intimately familiar with the food and drinks at a restaurant, it doesn't help direct the customer or validate the customers' taste. Last night, our server failed in this area. This failure did not ruin the dining experience, but it did force a conversation with other serving staff and a trip to another business to complete the drinking. Eureka, train your servers. Now, the burgers we had were well made and worth a visit. The place is lively and has a good pulse. 3 stars for the food. -1 star for the server who was ill-prepared, and -1 star for a poorly made drink. As a courtesy I had planned on visiting this place to settle a dispute among friends as to which burger joint was better between Stout burger and Eureka. We arrived at 12:45 pm on a Saturday and we were seated on the border of outside/inside land. We asked for an indoor table and our location did a Will Smith on us as we were slapped with waves of summer and winter hits! The welcoming party of hostesses reminded me of a Mac Store helpers, nice but a bit cultish looking. The loud club music was immediately off putting as it turned a relaxing eating experience into a serious medical condition called: gastrotenitus! I forced myself to believe that things would improve like the latest Kendrick vinyl and it all went down the yellow brick road from there. The beer selection was ample but ample doesn't mean great. I selected a red ale and it was good but not great, it suffered from from a warm fever! I ordered the Eureka burger (which came with fries, which you could upgrade to a few things for a couple more $'s.) I also ordered the Mac and cheese balls as an appetizer but these never showed up until we were ready to exit! My burger arrived and it looked a bit sad and disappointing, it sat there like a knocked out Ali victim! The fries looked abandoned and old and the burger was greasier than grease and as bland as recycled cardboard! (Please see proof from posted photos* They will be disturbing!) Still rooting for a decent gastro experience and I bit into my burger again and again and nothing happened. So I turned it off just like the last Spider-Man movie. I tried to find some edible fries in the pile of old potatoes but I came to the conclusion that not even the great doctors at Hopkins could bring this meal back to life. The manager came by after feeling my bad experience and offered a replacement burger or something else and I simply said "no thank you!". She came back 5 min later and offered me a gift card so I could return and again I just said "no thank you!". Eureka - used to express triumph on a discovery! The only Eureka moment was experienced as I walked out of this place. Do yourself a favor and just drive to Stout burger in LA and give yourself a true eureka moment that this place can't deliver! read more

The waiter's attitude was outgoing but I believe he was over compensating the fact that he had left us waiting for a long time. We didn't get our drinks (pretty sure he forgot) and when he did remember he tried to play it off and as if we still wanted them. We didn't even get refills on water when the waiter clearly seen we were all out and the food hadn't been brought out yet. Two of the burgers were lacking a lot. The tomato was paper thin and I got a hard end piece of onion. My friend also complained that their burger was dry and falling apart.
