I am surprised that I have not been here before. I met a friend here for drinks and dinner a couple of weeks ago. We sat outside though we were given an indoor seating option... I am not ready yet. I appreciated the fact that they had the ability to view the menu, order and pay online. Would have been great except I kept getting an error and the waiter had to finally take our order. My friends and I came here for one last dinner before the stay-at-home order took into effect (December 6th, 2020). I have been to their other location in Mountain View and got some light appetizers and drinks so I was super excited to visit this location! Since it was chilly out at night, they had plenty of heaters and super cute lights strung across the tents. We got our table for 3 in a corner where it was slightly secluded and it was awesome! All tables were super distant from one another and they definitely took all of the COVID precautions serious. One super cool thing about this place is that they have a QR code located at each table and you just scan it on your phone. We were all able to order on our own individual phones but still able to pay on one tab. This was super cool. We decided to get one of each on the appetizer/small plates menu since we typically like to eat a variety and share multiple things. They had a great selection of what to order! Mac N' cheese balls: These were delicious! I think the mac and cheese had hatch chilis in it which added some extra spice. They were super crispy on the outside and very warm and cheesy on the inside. Truffle cheese fries: This portion was huge and was great to share with friends! You can definitely taste the truffle flavor but these were great dipped in some additional sauces we ordered. Sherry braised pork riblets: I don't eat pork so I did not get to try these. However, I thought that they were worth mentioning because they looked delicious. See the picture below! Crispy glazed Brussel sprouts: I am a huge fan of crispy Brussel sprouts. These were not only crispy but had great flavor. You could taste some salt with some hint of sweetness. Orange Chile glaze and firecracker wings: Wings are always a must at a restaurant. I really enjoyed the orange chile glaze. The firecracker tasted like a buffalo sauce. I was expecting them to be more of a sweet chili sauce flavor. However, they were crispy, nicely sauced, and tasted great with some truffle fries and ranch on the side. Wild child drink: Any drink with vodka, I typically choose this drink. The color was super pretty and the alcohol flavor was definitely masked. I could feel the tingly feeling in my stomach but was unable to taste the alcohol when I was actually drinking the drink. Just a heads up, when we dined outside, there was a 16% service fee added to our tabs. However, since we didn't formally have a server, I really did not mind paying this fee. Finally trying Eureka after having it bookmarked for months and it did NOT disappoint! This was one of those nights where you're really craving a burger. We arrived on a Saturday night around 8:30pm. Surprisingly it was not packed so we got seated right away. Our server was super nice and recommended us really good items. She also gave good suggestions on which beers we would like. We loved the vibes and energy here! what we ordered: - Jalapeño egg burger with truffle fries 10/10 - Cowboy burger with regular fries 10/10 - Mac and cheese balls 8/10 I loved that the burgers weren't dry and the fries were so fresh and crunchy! I did wish the Mac and cheese balls had more seasoning to it but the sauce it came with helped. The food came out pretty quick and we pretty much devoured it. I took my buddy here for his birthday treat. He knew I'm a burger guy too lol. During the pandemic, I didn't knew what to expect but just had to go with the flow. We met up for lunch and sat outside the table in front of the restaurant. At first I thought we just wait until the waitress arrive to take our order. The waitress gave us a glass of water and explained the process. On each table there was a bar code. You just scan the code with your phone and voila. You placed the order on the site similar to ordering takeout on Yelp or DoorDash. Once you pay and completed the order, the staff will deliver your food. Honestly, I love the idea so you don't need to wait on the waitress to order or give you a check. We ordered dry age bone marrow burger, wings, and truffle fries. I love coming to Eureka for happy hour. Every Eureka location has a different menu for their happy hour, and the Cupertino location is quite limited. I arrived with a friend on a Friday evening around 5PM, and we were able to be seated immediately! (We were actually planning on going to Lazy Dog, but their wait for a table of 2 was 45 minutes:/). Eureka is very COVID-friendly. The table were placed 6 feet apart and I felt very safe and far from other parties. You actually order and pay via the QR code on your table, which is specific for your party. We ordered the Truffle Cheese Fries and Grilled Chicken Nachos ($7 each during HH). The fries were delicious! The slight hint of truffle hits, and the cheese on top is EVERYTHING. Perfect to munch on. The grilled chicken nachos were good too, although the chicken was a bit dry. I also ordered the Wild Child ($7 HH) and it was great! Super pretty drink and very little taste of alcohol. I think it is a combination of vodka, rose, watermelon, and more. All in all, I enjoyed my time here! The service was good, there was plenty of people checking in on us from time to time. However, I did feel like they were rushing us at the end :( Nevertheless, a great spot and staple here at Main Street Cupertino. read more

We had a very nice lunch here with friends. It was a lovely day and we sat outside on the patio. The outdoor seating is a real strong point for this restaurant. Everyone in our group of 8 was happy with their food except for the 3 of us who ordered the fish tacos. DO NOT ORDER THE FISH TACOS. What a joke. There was barely any fish, and it was one long very thin strip laid right on top, probably so we wouldn't miss it. And I mean VERY thin. Also, the fish was completely unseasoned. I couldn't believe they would service such a poor quality dish. But yes, they did. The fries that came with it were delicious and perfectly cooked. I can't believe it took me so long to come here. Service was swift and everything was Covid friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor heaters, you can order contactless and pay contactless. The location is super cute in the Cupertino Square. As an appetizer we had the Mac n cheese balls. Super yummy and a tad spicy. The breading was surprisingly very yummy. I had the spicy fried chicken sandwich with bacon for dinner. The chicken was well breaded, not too crunchy. Comes with pickles, coleslaw and aioli. Honestly what really made that sandwich was the tasty coleslaw. Almost ordered some on the side . I didn't find much spice to it but I wasn't disappointed with my order. For dessert we got the Bourbon Barrel Cake with Ice cream. When I say that was the BEST bourbon cake I ever had, I'm not exaggerating... the mixture of warm cake and ice cream was unreal. But even more unreal was the taste of the fluffy cake itself. There was definitely an explosion of love in my mouth with every delectable bite. Perfect to share or to have for yourself. Amazing place! Loved the happy hour they had. Called to check in with their updated hours and decided to come in during happy hour. Around 5pm it does start to get filled up. We we were seated pretty quickly and had the option of indoor or outdoor. Have to say great ambiance especially if you are planning to do an outing with your staff or work. Happy Hour is solid with enough options on the menu. However, I wish they did add wings or chicken tenders of some sort to the list. The Mac N Cheese bites and truffle fries were definitely good portions. Wings were amazing and nice and hot! Order 16 wings that came with condiments of course. The highlight of the visit was our server Sam. He was so friendly and very delighted to be our server. He would always smile and give us great recommendations on the menu. Absolutely phenomenal employee with great customer skills. Definitely will come back again! A big shout out to the manager John. He went above and beyond with his customer service. I was trying to look for a trash bin to throw some towelettes and my mask away and I could not find one. John was so kind enough to throw them away for me which I give a huge thank you to! Considering how busy this place always is and the high caliber of restaurants in the Cupertino Main street square that they have to compete with, I am incredibly surprised at how underwhelming the food was here. I got the chicken sandwich, not much flavour and wasn't anything to write home about. Basic, vanilla chicken sandwich. It came with fries that were cold and seemed old. So I asked for new order and they brought me the EXACT same fries and were again kind of cold and flaccid. Disappointed they didn't even make a new batch. Got a side of brussel sprouts that were soggy as well. Not crispy and they overdid it with the sauce. Also got an order of wings which weren't bad. Service was a little slow and we went for a very early dinner so it was not busy. Not the worst experience, but overall disappointed and wont be back anytime soon. read more

The menu is small, which may not be great for a pick eater but the prices are great for the portion sizes. We shared an order of nachos, wings, and a sandwich for 2 people and had plenty of left overs. Service was lacking, our server disappeared from the time they took our order until it was time to get the check (we had to wait for them to reappear to ask for the check) the person at the table in front of us waited the entire time we ate our meal for the server to take their check. We started off with a light beer (I'm sorry I forgot the name of it but it was such a fun name and I was like I want that one)! Then, we started all the foods! Honestly, everything was so good! My friends and I went to this restaurant, and we found the atmosphere very inviting. We all loved the service and food. 28 Day Bone Marrow Burger + Sweet Potato Fries - I ordered this one, and I enjoyed it a lot! The buns were well toasted, the meat was cooked to perfection(medium rare), and the toppings compliments the burger very well. The toppings consisted of bone marrow butter, tomatoes, a slice of onion, and horseradish aioli. One thing to note is that the tomato slice is a little big which overpowers the onion and aioli tasting the tomato. It is a VERY juicy burger with all the toppings together. Your hands WILL get messy. The sweet potato fries has honey drizzled on it. My friend tasted one and he said it tasted like a churro; otherwise, they are pretty normal sweet potato fries. Truffle Burger - It had mushrooms, truffle oil, havarti cheese. Meat was cooked right, well toasted bun, and the sautéed mushrooms were perfect. By the time my friend started eating it, the burger was soggy. It was a tad bit oily, and toppings like tomatoes would compliment its creaminess. The fries were a little dry, and it is preferred for those fries to be a thicker cut. Jalapeño Egg with Truffle Cheese Fries - It is a burger with Jalapeños, cheddar, chipotle sauce, and a fried egg. It was spicy enough to leave a pleasurable sour aftertaste. The egg was fried to perfection, and the cook of the meat was extremely well. The flavors complimented each other, but the sauce dripped all over the place making the buns soggy and a bit too oily. The truffle cheese fries were super crunchy even though it was covered in cheese sauce. It would be preferred to have truffle bits in the sauce, but it was overall delightful. Double Stacked with Truffle Cheese Fries - The meat was done well and was juicy. The mixture of flavors of the different toppings and meat were a great combination. The bun helped to give a nice texture and something neutral to all the flavor. I really liked the truffle cheese fries. The fries were nicely fried in that they were crispy enough. The truffle sauce and cheese were a nice seasoning and ketchup wasn't needed. Overall, one of the best burger and fries I've eaten. The presentation of all the burgers are nice, and the flavors are exquisite making this a place I would recommend you all to go. read more

July 2020 update: Today was our second time ordering from Eureka during pandemic. Once again we were disappointed. We will no longer be ordering to-go from this location or Cupertino. Their fries are soggy. We went today excited to try their new fried chicken sandwiches. HUGE bummer! The chicken was dry, there was no sauce (firecracker aioli) and the pickles look old and sad. See you post-pandemic! As soon as I found out Eureka! was in Silicon Valley, I just had to come in! I have been happily eating at their Berkeley location for over a year now. Gorgeous new space in Cupertino with free parking. Amazing crafted eats with a delectable selection of beers, whiskey & cocktails. They also have brunch on the weekends and half off wine glasses all day Tuesday! Now- I do not like hamburger meat or bacon (I know, weird) but their Jalapeño Egg Burger is outta this world! Delicious, flavorful, & not greasy at all! Served with their hand cut fries is a home run! I've also had their Lemongrass Pork Sandwich which I would seriously order just for their pickled slaw. It also came with a cheese sauce on the side for dipping, which I appreciated since it gave the fries some extra flavor. Spinach artichoke dip: 3/5 The flavor was good but I didn't like the big chunks of artichoke in the dip. There was also some cheese in the dip that wasn't mixed well into the dip because there were random patches of hardened cheese. Service today was off with the server forgetting the drink and leaving the dessert (which had ice cream) until I had to get up and ask for it at the bar. She also applied the wrong brownie points coupon and took my phone (!) And credit card to the back to figure it out. A usually pleasant experience was so bad today that we might not want to ever come back. It shouldn't be too much to expect to get the order and bill right. My family and I love coming here for dog-friendly happy hour when the weather's nice. They have dog-friendly seating outside and their food deals are awesome. Last time, we got the Truffle Fries, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and Steak Salad. Our server was so friendly and went above and beyond for us! We are Coke Zero fiends and my boyfriend likes trying new beers. She came back frequently to check on us and ask us whether we needed anything else. Since we happened to come here on a weekday, there were only a few other tables, so it wasn't too noisy or busy. And the vibe was super chill and casual - I think there may have even been a few sportsball things happening on the TVs. I think we have many other happy hours in our future here. Was here on a Friday night and it was surprisingly not as busy as I had expected it to be (thanks coronavirus?!) We ordered a flight of beers for the table and my personal favorite was the Peninsula Pilsner. The Westfalia was a standout, as I had never tasted a red beer before, it was quite alright. For food, my vegan friends got the Veggie Beet burger, and I got the Fresno Fig burger with sweet potato fries on the side. I ordered the burger well done and I really enjoyed the goat cheese, fig marmalade and bacon mixing in my mouth. Would definitely recommend trying this out if you haven't already. Came here a few times. I came during happy hour and got a few appetizers and drinks before they stopped. Their happy hour is on weekdays from 3-6. Recently I came back on a weekend. For the burgers you can sub the regular fries with any other side for a $2-4 additional price, depending on the side. This high-end burger chain is a better-marketed version of Red Robin, with good (but not great) burgers and accompanying sides. There was nothing wrong with my burger (the cowboy burger with fried onions and barbecue sauce), but there was nothing spectacular about it either. Service was not good - partly, this is pandemic-related hiring issues, and partly due to a likely-newer server who didn't know her section and kept forgetting we were there.
