    Tofu Lettuce Wraps
    Serina N.

Went in today to support the Bay Area Cats fundraiser. We were seated fairly quickly but decided to swap tables to get more sun. The server was very kind and told us it was okay. I noticed other tables had a carafe of water, so while we waited for our food, I asked someone to bring us some too. It would be cool if it was standard to bring it by so I didn't flag someone down to ask for it. I got the tofu lettuce wraps with a side of fries and a passionfruit lemonade. The lettuce that came with my order was dirty, you could see the actual dirt on it. It's good that it's fresh, but I'd prefer washed lettuce. I mentioned it to a server, and she happily took it away to replace it with fresh lettuce. The new lettuce was wet, so at least I know it was washed. The sauce with the tofu was really tasty, but I wish they marinated the tofu overnight so it could soak up more flavor. The fries were crispy, and the lemonade was refreshing, though I think it could use more passionfruit flavor. My friend got the spicy fried chicken sandwich. She said the chicken was very moist, the coleslaw was good, and she really liked the sauce. The only thing she didn't like was the bun, she said it tasted like low-quality bread and was too crumbly. We had to wait a while for someone to come by so we could ask for the check. My friend pointed out that they didn't check on us much after we got our food. I think the servers are very kind when you can flag someone down, but they could probably benefit from QR code ordering or checkout, since it seemed like only two people were serving the entire restaurant (inside and out).

Solid place for a great burger in Cupertino. Nice indoor and outdoor seating offerings. Service can be hit or miss, as I had to flag a server down to close out and it wasn't overly busy. Still will go back for the relaxed setting and great atmosphere.

My partner and I stopped by for "hoppy hour" but only got food, didn't opt for the drinks. We walked over since we live pretty close and parking in the Main St Cupertino area can be difficult. Weren't too many people there on a weekday, to be expected. This is why we chose this time. We chose to sit outside and service was great. We chose to order a plate of nachos and a eureka burger to share. They were nice enough to cut the burger in half for us. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Ambiance was nice, they have a pretty big space. We ordered the perfect amount of food to share between two people.

Our lunch: my Ahi Poke Stack, niece's burger and best friend's burger

This is my first time at this particular restaurant in quite some time. I wanna say I haven't been here since before the pandemic. My best friend and I had trouble parking since it was a grand opening of two new stores, but once we found parking and walked over, it was really nice to be seated rather quickly since nobody was in this particular restaurant. Lol. Ambience inside was rather dark, but it was a little windy outside, so I didn't want to get too cold or have the food get cold if we sat outside. My niece got a burger as did my best friend. I wasn't too hungry so I got the Ahi poke stack without any soy sauce since I have food allergies. My niece didn't realize her burger came with fries as we ordered truffle fries for the table so then she ended up with too much food. Lol everything tasted delicious although the service was rather slow. I think there was only one server for the whole restaurant on this particular Saturday afternoon. We were only able to get one round of drinks and no refills because the poor server was inside and outside helping/waiting on tables. I wouldn't mind going back to this particular restaurant again, but maybe in the evening setting to see if the surface was any faster. Hee

Fresno Fig Burger with Sweet Potato Fries

Located in an area with lots of choices. Parking is tough so plan ahead. I've eaten at several different Eureka's and I always like their grub and drink. They have a great selection of whiskey if that's your poison. Slow on a week night despite other nearby establishments being busy. Sports on TV's to watch your favorite game. I tried the Fresno Fig burger (who knows what wild hair caused this). It was a bit on the cold side which was unappealing. Sweet potatoes fires were delish. Would return but not for this burger.

Nice restaurant. There is outdoor seating and indoor seating. Our server was kind and patient when we ordered. We order a steak with tater tots which was delicious. The steak was tender and the tater tots were crunchy. We also ordered the lettuce wraps and a side of green beans. Both were very flavorful.

Eureka is open till 11pm - but the servers are so nice - sometimes when we were having too much fun, they would clean up the whole place and come to us last and say, it's midnight, we need this close the place now :) The food is much better than most bar food places. They have a great selection of cocktails, wine and beers! Their smoked whiskey and mezcal cocktails are divine. Your veggie friends will also find things to eat here :)

As the lead of community engagement for my son's grade level at his school, I wanted to create a happy hour social for the parents. I had called a number of restaurants and spaces, but since we were over 10+, many of them required a deposit, room booking fee, minimum food and beverage total, and a large party fixed gratuity. Since we couldn't guarantee our total headcount to justify the huge fixed cost, none of these options were viable. Then Eureka in Cupertino popped up on our radar. My co-lead had enjoyed dinner here over the weekend and thought it was a lovely and perfect space for our needs. And best yet? They were willing to reserve a large area for us without any deposit and could separate tabs if desired by person. We scheduled our event during their "Hoppy" Hour, and the event was awesome. A group of us even stayed for over 4 hours! The drink and food selection was decent for a happy hour special, and they were all decently good food. Thank you so much for hosting us and making this so easy for us. We will definitely facilitate more events here in the future!

Breaking this down into different categories: service, food, ambiance, and parking Ambiance: 5 This is a BIG Eureka with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a lot more outdoor seating than most places. I arrived around 4pm for the happy hour. There seemed to be a few parties outside as there were some food warmers and other things that looked like catering / party. This added a bit of energy to an otherwise sleepy interior vibe. The bar booths were about 50% occupied and there was plenty of seating at the bar itself. Service: 4 TBH, the service was a BIG improvement on what I've experienced at their MV and Santa Clara locations. While the bar was slower than the others, it wasn't just about being busy. For whatever reason, it doesn't seem like bartenders are trained to introduce themselves and help the guests feel welcomed at Eureka, which seems strange to me as I spent years in the industry. Regardless, the bartender was polite and efficient, checked in after I got my food and noticed my empty glass pushed to the edge so asked if I wanted another. This is where the service was much better than the other locations as getting a second drink can entail a long wait and a lot of waving Food: 5 I went with the happy hour smash burger w/ fries and the happy hour old fashioned. All were spot on in terms of flavor. The burger was flavorful, cooked well, and the pickles + bun added good texture & flavor. The fries were crispy, well seasoned, and at the right temperature. (The fries were a big miss and the burger was dry and under seasoned at the Santa Clara location). While the lot can be busy, there is ample parking in the garage.

Eureka Cupertino is in a great location. They have free parking in the garage next door so it is super suitable for big party gathering. The food taste good but no specific things to talk about. The price though has increased quite a bit (e.g. $18 for appetizer lettuce wrap, and another $18 for 6 wings). Service wise the folks work there are nice but just sometimes it gets busy and they do tender to their larger groups more (understandable).

Nice sports bar. Lots of TVs. Food is pricey but drinks are good. Brussels sprouts are amazing.!

    Rita W.

istg eureka keeps taking things off the menu that I love lol I used to get riblets here, then they took it off the menu then for a while I would get ribs, which were amazing btw then they took that off the menu too finding a new default menu item to order is exhausting LOL corporate needs to take pity on me pls steak frites - 9.5/10 a little on the pricy side but it was cooked perfectly & the fries were great too wild child - 7/10 needs more alcohol & was a lil watered down this time but it was good ribeye philly cheese steak - 7/10 standard philly cheese steak we sat outside & there were a few dogs :D

    Bone marrow burger
    Samantha W.

3.5 rounded down I'd say. This is a go to pick for my coworkers and I, as it's a generally safe pick (food wise) and in a nice & convenient location. Props for that angle! Not sure I'd say the food is that great though. Let's start with vibes - typical American restaurant / bar combo "nice" modern. Darker lighting, not much natural sunlight. Mahogany / dark wood. Again, perfect for a corporate group setting! Service is okay, it can be a hit or a miss. We've had servers who are very prompt and friendly, and we've also had servers that seemed to never come back. Food to me is a solid 3. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat this, but also wouldn't be mad about it. Their burgers are probably the best things here - my favorite is their smash burger, that is yummy! Never really liked any other burger I've ordered there (next favorite would probably be the bone marrow burger?). Appetizers have also always been okay to me. Ones that come to mind are the brussels sprouts, mac and cheese balls, and dorito fried peppers. All were only okay imo. The only one I'd probably order again on my own are the brussels sprouts. So overall, great place for a safe bet pick among coworkers, but probably wouldn't come here on my own.

Living with multiple food allergies can make eating out stressful and, at times, discouraging. Many restaurants try their best, but it's rare to encounter someone who goes as far above and beyond as Jason did. From the very beginning, Jason took my allergies seriously. Rather than treating them as a simple modification request, he took the time to understand my specific concerns and personally communicated with the chef to ensure every precaution was taken. What impressed me most was that he didn't just ask once and move on--he followed up multiple times throughout the process, making sure every item I received was prepared as safely as possible. His level of attention and care gave me confidence that my health and safety truly mattered. Jason's kindness was evident in every interaction. He patiently answered questions, verified ingredients, and double-checked preparation methods. Instead of making me feel like my allergies were an inconvenience, he made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. That level of empathy means more than people without food allergies may realize. The extra precautions taken in the kitchen were remarkable. Jason coordinated with the chef to ensure separate cooking methods were used whenever necessary and that steps were taken to minimize any risk of cross-contact. My food was packaged separately and clearly distinguished from the rest of the order, which immediately showed me how much thought had gone into keeping my meal safe. Even more touching were the notes left on the packaging specifically for me. Those small details demonstrated a level of personal care that is incredibly rare in the restaurant industry. Because of my allergies, my meal options were understandably limited. I ordered a plain burger with sautéed green beans, while my friends enjoyed several different burgers from the menu. Although my meal was simple, it was prepared perfectly. The burger was cooked exactly as requested, allowing the quality of the meat to stand on its own, and the green beans were fresh, tender, and flavorful. Most importantly, I was able to enjoy a restaurant meal with confidence instead of anxiety. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their burgers as well, commenting on the flavor, quality, and preparation. It was wonderful that everyone at the table could have a great dining experience, despite having very different dietary needs. What touched me most from this visit isn't just the food--it's the care. Jason's willingness to communicate with the chef, verify ingredients, package items separately, use special preparation methods, and personally check in throughout the process transformed what could have been a stressful experience into an enjoyable one. For those of us with food allergies, being able to order food safely is something we never take for granted. Jason made that possible. Exceptional customer service is often defined as exceeding expectations, and Jason exceeded mine at every step. His professionalism, compassion, attention to detail, and genuine concern for guest safety are truly commendable. I am incredibly grateful for the effort he put into accommodating my allergies and ensuring I could enjoy a meal without worry. Experiences like this create loyal customers, and Jason is a perfect example of how kindness and care can make a lasting impact.

It was my first day quitting cigarettes cold turkey after 25 years, so I wasn't about to risk my shake experience with a possible dud. The strawberry shake hit the spot, or as the youngins say "It hits." The burger and fries were delicious too, or as the youngsters say "Mad fire bro." You could stumble upon it through Yelp (as we did), discover it while staying at the adjacent Treehouse Hotel, or simply hear about it through word of mouth. The parking situation is an interesting one. After turning into the driveway from Mathilda Avenue, you have two options: turn right for valet parking or left into the Google parking lot. There are plenty of spaces available, though parking there is technically at your own risk. The restaurant told us they had not heard of anyone being ticketed or towed. We first dined here shortly after it opened in 2025 and were immediately impressed by the beautiful grounds. The hotel's eco-conscious gift shop, housed in a glass greenhouse and featuring a colorful vintage VW Bug, is a charming touch. The short walk to the restaurant feels especially relaxing on a warm, sunny day. This has become one of our favorite places to bring friends or host girls' lunches. With three distinct seating options: the dining room, bar, and patio, there's an atmosphere to suit just about any occasion, whether you're dining as a couple or gathering with a larger group. I would recommend visiting during lunch or dinner service and skipping the in-between hours. During that time, only the bar area is open and the menu is more limited. To fully experience what Valley Goat has to offer, lunch or dinner is the way to go. Despite the name, the only goat dish on the menu at the time of this review is the Goat Empanadas. My friend was initially hesitant to order them, but David, our wonderful server, and I encouraged her to give them a try. She was glad she did. There was no gamey flavor whatsoever; the meat tasted more like beef, and the accompanying sauce was excellent. The service was quite slow throughout the evening. We ordered the goat empanadas, wood-fired Mary's chicken, sprouted cauliflower, eggplant, and sticky pork shank. What surprised me most was how similar everything tasted. From the appetizers to the main dishes, the flavors seemed repetitive and lacked distinction. Each dish looked appealing, but none really stood out. Overall, the food felt uninspired, and I didn't get the sense that much care had gone into developing unique flavors for the menu. Given the many 5-star reviews, I was expecting much more and left feeling disappointed. The ambiance is lovely, but I would not return for the food. Don't be misled by the photos, they were far more impressive than the actual dining experience.

Drinks are on the pricey side- I had a Hero Old Fashioned and the Taylor Made, $20 each. They were nicely crafted, so worth the price. They brought out a Carmel Popcorn Sundae for my husband's birthday and even gave him a birthday card which I thought was a nice touch. Service was slow and steady. We had ample time to enjoy our food without feeling rushed, but never felt like our server forgot about us. We spent about 2 hours for dinner. Probably not a place to go if you're in a hurry. I'm eager to return and try some more of the starters. It's the kind of place I'd love to take out of town guests - high quality fine dining in a casual and relaxed environment.

Hamachi capacio was in a pool of sauce. Way too much trufle. Really bad…read more Corn was good. Lobster special was rubbery. Disappointing. Pork chop was good, but sauce way too sweet. Side of scalloped potatoes had raw potatoes. Sent it back. Two cocktails were good. Overall so disappointed. Expectations were super high and it just didnt hit.

Big fan of their Tuesday $5 pizookie deal! There's a whole range of pizookies to choose from,…read moreincluding cookies and cream, Dubai chocolate, and strawberry shortcake. Clearly the pizookie deal is a hit amongst the South Bay Area because it's always absolutely packed at 10pm. Be prepared for a bit of a wait. They were extremely understaffed on a Tuesday night, and the poor waiters were running around and scrambling. The ambiance is casual and lively. The pizookie is absolutely worth the wait: the ice cream is a great contrast to the warm cookie. It's a huge portion, so one pizookie is the perfect size for two people. Can't wait for my next visit!

BJ's is a decent place to grab food with a bunch of friends, but it has mediocre food and service…read more My friends and I come here occasionally to celebrate birthdays as they have a lot of room. We made our reservations online and had no hassle with it. Parking can get very full at peak hours, but they also have valet parking. The interior has a dim sports bar vibe, and there were a couple of TVs playing sport games. I usually get the weekend prime rib special, which is a salad/soup, two sides, prime rib and a pizzokie. It is honestly a lot of food for a fair price. Unfortunately, the food always takes a while to arrive, as service is slow. The waiters also don't come by very often, which makes it hard to get water refills or utensils. The prime rib itself is okay at best. It is definitely not bad by any means but it's also doesn't have that "wow" factor. The asparagus and grilled veggies appetizers weren't that bad, but I felt like the grilled cauliflower was undercooked. I recommend getting the pastas instead. One time I got the Chicken Alfredo, and I was pleasantly surprised by it. One of the trademarks of BJs is their "pizzokie", which is a giant cookie with ice cream on top. It is honestly quite good, as the cookies are baked perfectly and they give a lot of ice cream. It is a heavy dessert though, and I recommend having two people to finish it. Overall, BJs is an allright place if you want to get dinner with a bunch of friends without the hassle of waiting or lack of space. If you're looking for somewhere to eat for a smaller group though, I think there could be better options in the area.
