We ordered gluten free food and they still got it wrong. So disappointed and the food was cold.

Had a very interesting experience during our visit. We got seated super fast, but then things starting going down hill. We tried ordering wings, chicken sandwich, kids tenders, and we were told that their chicken fryer was broken but they had a fryer available for fries. Then when we finally order substitute and 25min later our dishes finally came out. The food was cold and not tasty. We had a dish missing and it appears that their system went down so our order never made it to the kitchen to be made. The staff certainly tried their best, and they apologized for all the issues. I hope that corporate provides the needed help this location needs. read more

HOW CAN ANYONE RATE THIS LESS THAN 5 stars???? How? First e Time here with my friend for my birthday? Ona wait list fo 15i urea and they have a text message system so makes it easy! We had dogs with us and they are super dog friendly from the hostess on in. Dogs got crunchy dog bones at the front door and then at the table they bring a water bowl for them! So nice! We got our table and after ten minutes a waiter walking by decided to help us and he wasn't in our section but did it any way. He took our drink orders and dinner orders and an appetiZer. We specifically came for the fig burger and the relax beer and they did not disappoint at all! We finished off with bourbon cake and ice cream, super delicious. Posting pics, it's kid friendly, dog friendly and loud! We stayed about 2 hours! The wait staff can't be beat! It was extremely busy on a Friday night at 8 pm and everyone was nice as multiple staf member walked by offering to either take plates away, offer water, offer to replace drinks offer more menu items and offers to the dogs! Eureka! I found me a really great salad! To be honest, I really wasn't expecting very much from Eureka!, but this Protein Chopped Salad with chicken was one darn good salad. It was super fresh, "tasted" organic and better than many proverbial farm to table restaurants. Who said that Eureka was only good for a burger and beers? Nope! I had a salad and a lovely glass of wine on the very welcoming-vibes-patio, and it was all excellent. I wouldn't have guessed so, but I'm a total fan of Eureka! I've never been cussed out by a manager/employee at a restaurant, on top of the restaurant getting my order wrong twice. I explained my frustration to him and the guy threw the f bomb very quickly to show his anger. I believe his name was Alex. Sucks because I've ordered more than 50 times at this place in the past couple of months, and I was telling him mistakes happen and I only expected them to remake my order because that's fair. The asshat night manager told me that it would be the last time they do it, as if they were doing me a courtesy. The food was pretty pricey, but nothing special. The chicken nachos had a kind of chipotle sauce that I wasn't a fan of, and the portion was small. The wild child cocktail was pretty to look at, but it was overly sour. I feel like the proportions were off in the drink. The service was a bit slow, but the waiter was nice. read more

Eureka used to be a really fun spot before 2020, but when they returned to dine-in, the menu was cut back to very few items, including drinks. One of my favorite cocktails and previous staples, the healer, was no longer on the menu, along with many others. The service is really haphazard, but the brussel sprouts remain to die for! Burgers are also reliably good, as is the caesar salad with salmon. Wild child is the only cocktail I like there anymore, but you get sick of it after a while. It's overpriced for the quality of it all, but the brussel sprouts are truly an exception, and it'll remain a popular spot for students and faculty to have a convenient meet up. read more

What a great lunch! We had our dog with us and not only did they accommodate us, they even brought water out for him. It was a little chilly, and the food took maybe five to ten minutes longer to get out than anticipated, but we walked away full and happy. The food was good. We liked the garlic aioli more than the ranch, it was pleasantly not too strong and was quite nice with the fries. Our server was friendly. One of the few places in the area that is open late and has a selection of adult beverages. The food is usually good. The service can be hit or miss. Even with an empty place can take awhile sometimes. Have had multiple visits where entrees come out with appetizers. Also, please do not feel the need to reach over the table to put a fake candle while people are eating. Either ask, or wait until we leave. Not sure if just inexperienced staff, but something that they can certainly improve upon. read more

Good food, but the wait was very long. Decided to walk in on a weekday night after going grocery shopping. The total time between checking in with the host to when our food arrived was about 45 to 50 minutes -- needless to say, we were very hungry by then. First time eating here. The wait staff was nice, food was just ok, overall experience subpar. Ordered a mixed drink & they brought me a vodka tonic instead, but they took it back & I was able to get the drink I ordered. Also ordered a burger with GF bun (I'm gluten intolerant) but it came out w/regular bun. I hate returning food but I literally couldn't eat it as the bun had already touched everything. The server came back & apologized, made sure it would be remade, she was really nice. Food finally came out and my burger was sitting in a pool of meat juice. At this point I just ate it, I was so hungry. Their GF bun was good, not too crumbly, but the bottom bun was immediately soggy from the pool of juice. Judd was awesome! It was my first time at Eureka and I will definitely be back. It was a completely packed house on a Friday night and Judd never made us feel as if we were impeding with question's about the menu or what he recommended. We probably had four different staff members drop off our food or assist our table-all of which were courteous and had an upbeat demeanor. Also-FOOD WAS GREAT! This is the second Eureka I've been to. The service has been horrible at both locations. This time, was sat, waited 30 minutes with no one even greeting us or bringing water. When a server noticed we got up to leave. She said well we have new hostesses and the section they sat you in was closed. Still 10 min later no water or drinks. I thought with the recent menu change things may have been different. Now this equals the exact service I received in their Santa Barbara location. Just had a late lunch here with the family. We had the truffle cheese fries, Mac n cheese balls, chicken tenders, Eureka American burger, and the 28 Day dry aged bone marrow burger. The burgers here are amazing! I had the double smash burger and ordered the chipotle sauce on the side because I don't like a lot of sauce on burgers. The burger didn't need anything...it was simple and delicious. The fries are simple but done well, nice and crispy. We had the shishito peppers as an appetizer. Wouldn't order this again. Alright alright! We continue the journey to elite. This place was not what I expected. I came here thinking it would be decent, but they went above my expectations. Our server got to us in no time and was able answer all our questions.... We had a lot, he was so patient, even after taking our order he was checking in on us many times. We got a couple drinks and food. I will say that this was too good, only down side for this place is that it all looked so good that I couldn't try everything. I will need to come back and try more food. The manager was also checking in on everyone and helping customers. This is something that for me will always go a long way. The food was awful. Everything was gross. Presentation was cute but would never eat here again. Staff was very nice.

One of the better happy hours for sure. I used to live coming to grab a beer and instead of ordering an entree I would get the HH mac n cheese balls, green beans and sometimes truffle fries (mostly for the truffle cheese dip to dip). The green beans are the underrated hero - pretty spicy depending on the batch. They redid their menu so those are unfortunately no longer on happy hour but I believe they're still in the regular menu.
