Get a waterproof mattress cover immediately. The top cover of the mattress is attached by a zipper, so it's easily removable. This cover CANNOT be cleaned, and it CANNOT be dry-cleaned. The company tells me that it can ONLY be spot-cleaned. If you have a large juice spill on it (or anything larger than a spot-cleaning area), it must be replaced. The replacement cover for a California King is $790. For spilled juice (or whatever). The bed is nice and all (it had better be for more than $3,000), but paying another almost thousand dollars is a hard and bitter pill to choke down. This seems like egregiously terrible component selection, or a revolting cash-grab when you're bent over a barrel ("well, we already spent $3k on the bed, and we don't want to waste that money, so . . ."). Smells dirty. Or, here's a tough one: include a fitted, waterproof mattress cover with every mattress so the customer (who just paid thousands of dollars) doesn't get a rude, easily-avoided, surprise. Not doing so is an a-hole move by European Sleep Works. read more

I should have contacted European Sleep Works before complaining. My mattrress was sagging and uncomfortable. My back was hurting. Steven responded to my negative review. He kindly informed me that I have a 10 year warranty. I have had the mattress for 7 years. So much has happened in this time, I forgot about the warranty. Within days, service people from Sleep Works came and repaired my mattress. It ends up I had the foot slats and head slats for the mattress support at the wrong ends, as well as some other things that needed adjusting. My mattress is as good as new. The happiness I feel could easily bring me to tears. I love my mattress. I highly recommend European Sleep Works. I want to add that the service people were thoughtful and read my "Please Remove Your Shoes" sign on my door and without question went and put on shoe covers. :-) Thank you for your consideration! read more

The mattress was too toxic for me, and I am told after purchase that the cover (where the strong smell is coming from) can't be washed. I discussed my need for non-toxic in detail with them beforehand, and I am horrified that they would sell me something with unwashable textiles. I guess the eco-certification standards governing the toxicity of these components are not as strong as the organic standard. Our last bed was organic and there were no problems like this. This one is terrible. If you have serious chemical sensitivities, this is not a safe option. read more

We've owned two beds from European Sleepworks, including the frame, nightstands, pillows, mattress pads, and pillow tops. Our first bed was lost in a fire in 2017, so we bought a second one soon after. They couldn't have been kinder and offered us a fire discount which really helped us recover from a devastating event in which we were underinsured. Our second bed had a few issues and they continued to work with us with patience and understanding. They sent two of their (very patient and professional) installers out and lo and behold, when we moved to a permanent home, one screw on the frame had come loose, and two inner coils were broken. Once those issues were fixed, we are once again waking up refreshed and rested. I can't say enough about the good people of European Sleepworks. We live in Sonoma County and will only buy our beds from them. The quality and service is unparalleled in our experience. I don't write a ton of reviews, but I wanted to give a shout out (unsolicited) for European Sleep Works because they will change your life. For background, I had an ESW mattress for 10+ years and it was incredible. I am a major sleep snob and try to spend whole days in bed a couple of times a year. I loved my ESW mattress, but it was gifted to me by my parents and when it came time to renew my mattress (on my own adult dime) as I moved into a new place, I was hoping for a cheaper alternative to ESW. Short version: THERE IS NONE. I ordered a mattress from one of their competitors (named after a fruit that is often mistaken for a vegetable), and even slept on it for 2+ months to "break it in" but I was achey, under slept, moody, and just felt the magic gone from my life (sounds dramatic but it's true!) I decided a replacement mattress was in order. STORE EXPERIENCE I went during COVID and the store was pristine as always, and I appreciated that they were going to great lengths to take extra precautions. The staff is incredible, they know the product inside and out and were very patient through the long process of us deciding on a new bed. Also, we were struggling with the parking meter outside the store which seemed to not be taking credit cards, and they came out with quarters for us. A small but very appreciated kindness!! DELIVERY EXPERIENCE After paying $250 for delivery on the competitor mattress and having it totally botched by the mattress company and the third party and having SO MANY bad experiences with movers and delivery companies over the course of my move, I was so impressed by ESW, who delivered our new mattress in one week and sent their own delivery crew (this is unheard of these days). The crew arrived on time, knew the product and how to properly assemble and set up the mattress (it's more complicated than other mattresses), and showed me how to adjust the bed slats. They were friendly, quiet, clean, and professional. Thank you! MATTRESS I can't really say much other than--these mattresses are amazing and they will actually change your life. Natural Latex is naturally anti-microbial and that is important for the environment I live in, plus it's hella comfortable. What we love about our bed: it is amazingly comfortable, it doesn't make any noise, it is custom made and fitted, and it is made with natural and polyester free materials (I think right here in Berkeley)! What we love about the store: the staff is knowledgeable and kind (not at all snobby). The person who helped us spent about an hour with us, explaining the mattresses and walking us through each level of firmness--even with this time investment, he did not pressure us at all when we left to talk it over. After deciding to invest in the mattress (hey, we spend more time in bed than in a car, right?), we went to shop for a mattress cover and comforter cover elsewhere, but nothing seemed worthy of our new mattress. We went back and got everything plus wool pillows. The pillows are adjustable--just unzip and pull out the unprocessed pieces of sheared wool and store for later. More than you would spend at a discounter, but absolutely no regrets! read more

I bought a king size innerspring mattress with a latex topper from these guys in around 2003 or four. At the time my wife thought I was nuts paying such a high price for a mattress. But I looked into it and after all the other failures with latex mattresses sagging in the middle, getting moldy etc I thought it was worth a shot. Here it is 2023 and the mattress is still going strong. No sagging, no mildew, no squeaking, no problems whatsoever. Still just a wonderful sleep after at least 20 years. Other mattresses in the house have come and gone multiple times. But not this one. It is still also the most comfortable sleep we have ever had. The adjustability of the bands underneath and the idea that you can swap out different toppers for different sleeping partners have made it incredibly flexible also. I believe it will be around for another 20 years. This company is the real deal. According to them, they are still made the exact same way. I would buy one again in a heartbeat. Final Update - This is my final update until I go back and purchase from European Sleep Works again. We just received our furniture and it's beautiful. Did we have to wait a while for it, yes but we knew that going in. That's what I love about this company....transparency. There was no promise of it SHOULD be only a couple of days or weeks. We ordered it late last year and was told it might not be until Feb or Mar until we get the furniture. One of the best things I love about this company is they open and inspect the furniture when it arrives at their warehouse before they deliver it. That way if there are any flaws, they catch it before wasting time and effort in delivering and setting it up. Once again, the people setting up the furniture were friendly, courteous and professional. They even offered to help me move some of the old furniture that was still in the way. The other thing I loved was the attention to detail. When we purchased our bed, we purchased adjustable frames so we could recline our head and feet. After they set up our new headboard and footboard, they tested the adjustable frames to make sure the mattresses still operated correctly. They wanted to make sure the new head and footboard did not affect the functionality of the bed. From the sales team to the delivery, the quality of the operations is top notch and I honestly can't think of any other retailer that shows this type of service. I have had a European Sleep Works bed since 1998. I purchased the most recent one in 2014. I felt it was getting less supportive over time. While the mattress was still under warranty, I expected to get more push back and hit some road blocks. Karina asked the right questions, sent a repair person to my house to look at the mattress, and ended up replacing the sections that needed replacement. The whole thing took less than 4 weeks and was handled professionally, expeditiously, with the minimum of hassle, and to my satisfaction. I purchased a mattress in June, 2022 after a wonderful sales woman helped me and let me lie on all the mattresses numerous times and answered the same questions more than once. After a short time of sleeping on the mattress, I realized that it was too soft for me. The trouble was that I was soon leaving to return to New York City for a few months for health related issues. I have had to prolong my stay in NYC past the 100 days try out period and have fretted about whether I will be able to swap for the firmer mattress. ESW has the best customer service still in existence! They have graciously extended my ability to trade out and I cannot tell you how grateful I am. AS GOOD AS IT GETS! This company has a unique line of products, including a brilliant adjustable slat foundation system along with a range of proprietary mattress options. These beds would more accurately be described as "sleep systems" and I have wanted one from the moment I wandered into the showroom many years ago (20?). What stopped me then was the belief that I belonged in the "hardest mattress for the least money" class of people. Two years ago I decided my sleep and my back are too important NOT to invest in a good bed, so back I went to ESW; I bought the queen size Nordic HDM mattress, the high profile adjustable slat system (in place of a box spring), the mattress pad, the Oxygen pillow & the pillow cover. $2,900 for the complete set-up. For me, a MAJOR purchase, not made lightly! I love my bed! After sleeping on my new system for a week I called for and received advice on fine-tuning the slat adjustment and when, after two months, things still didn't feel perfectly "mama bear" I took advantage (at their suggestion!) of the "60 day comfort exchange," which involved a second delivery during which my mattress was opened and the entire top section; layers of foam and small coils, was swapped with one slightly less firm. This made a huge difference and, exactly as stated in the guarantee, I was required to pay the delivery charge only. What prompted me to write now is a return to the showroom after developing some shoulder soreness, thinking after 2+ years I needed to replace the pillow. Susan worked with me, had me try a replacement, then 5 more slight variations of the same pillow. Then Steven worked with me, pulling my records, asking questions and offering options. Bottom line: I didn't buy a pillow. Instead, Steven came up with something else I can try, at no cost, that will probably work. If it doesn't, he'll try something else. Knowing I have access to both this competent and caring approach, anytime I need it, I fully believe I will be sleeping comfortably on my bed for many years (it's fully warrantied for 10). read more

After accidentally discovering the Oxygen pillow while house-sitting for some smart friends, I bought one a couple months ago, and I'm thrilled with it. The fitting process was easy and thorough, the reps were extremely kind and helpful, and even though I have obstructive sleep apnea, I've slept drastically better since owning this pillow. It proved to be even more useful in another unexpected scenario though- I recently underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor recurrence, and sleeping on this pillow was a game-changer compared to my first surgery six years ago. The way it's designed allows for less pressure on the side and back of the skull, and as such, made my post-surgical recovery process and experience far more safe, pleasant, and comfortable. They have multiple densities and thicknesses to choose from, and help you find the perfect fit for your body. I highly recommend visiting this shop if you're looking for some relief for OSA, or if you've recently had surgery (or another condition) that makes it hard to sleep. Or, you just want the most comfortable pillow you could own. I was reluctant to spend the money at first... but a couple months later I feel it's one of the best investments I've ever made in my quality of life. Buy local and buy here. Ordered two beds from here 7 years ago. The last two years, I thought I had been totally possibly ripped off. I had researched extensively for a clean non-toxic bed that would last a long time and settled on a latex bed. I did not want to buy from the traditional big brands as there were too many horror stories and did not desire to have the chemicals and throw a bed into the landfill after a handful of years. The purchasing experience was great. They were very knowledgeable and nice. The delivery was seamless. The bed was comfortable until it was not. Both beds started to sink in places where the hips and shoulders lay. We rotated the mattress as they had instructed but it still did not help. They were starting to cause back pain. This happened after a lot of new online clean eco friendly mattresses came into the scene and I looked into possible replacements. I even priced out new foam from online retailers. I noticed a lot of horror stories about warranty requirements, so I never even thought to just call European Sleep Works to see what to do. One morning, I realized I was still under warranty and called them. I assumed I probably would not be covered or they would charge me for an inspection. Turns out I was completely wrong. They were so nice on the phone and told me nope that is not normal and we will send someone. They said they don't care about silly 1 inch or 3 inch indents that one companies use for warranties. I was still skeptical but made the appointment. They arrived on time. Within 15 minutes, they inspected both beds and replaced ALL the latex foam. I could not believe it. I was expecting them to require a second trip or just replace maybe one layer of foam. He said they make sure to bring all the parts they might need in the van. Amazing. They were so knowledgeable about every component of the bed and where each is sourced. Apparently, our mattresses had foam they no longer use. I know Talalay foam is really expensive because I priced it out a few weeks ago, so I am really impressed they replaced it all. I would not hesitate to order from them again. I wish I had called a few years earlier when issues had begun. I am glad that all my research and decision to purchase from them was not a waste. They really stand-by their product. They now sew the mattress in the Bay Area. So not only is it locally owned, it is also locally made. There are a lot of other options now but this is one situation I really do not mind paying a little more for amazing service and peace of mind. read more

This bed is everything i hoped for and prayed for. I had herd of the cool temp controlled linen weaves. The pillow wedges that are available, to combat acid reflux and esophagus related problems. We have had our European Sleepworks mattress and Oxygen Pillow for over a year now and it has been a total game changer! I have never written a review like this for a product, but wanted to do so since we have had such a positive experience. Background: I have had chronic recurring back pain for about three years. The problems usually flared up about once a month, causing pain and limiting activity. I would ice, take Advil, and limit activity and get back on track. I was in physical therapy for a while. We finally decided to replace our old mattress to see if it would help the issue. Mattress: After trying a few firmnesses, we finally chose to go with the Alpine Classic in the softest version (soft coils/soft latex). It is a dream! It is so soft and yet very supportive, and I love getting into bed each night! My husband sleeps on his side and I sleep on my back and it has worked well for both of us. The best part is that I have had NO BACK ISSUES WHATSOEVER since we got it a year and a half ago. This is after three years of monthly flare ups. Truly worth the money! I get sad if we have to travel and I miss my mattress..... Pillow: I tried the Oxygen Pillow in the store and splurged on one. I got the flattest/softest available as I'm a back sleeper. It's the best! I'm not sure if it's the mattress or pillow or the combo, but I am sleeping waaaay more deeply than I used to. I love this pillow! Customer Service: Their customer service is top notch. They were very helpful in the store, but after we received our first mattress and it was too firm, they worked with me until we had just what we needed. Very impressed. I don't ever write reviews and this was not asked for but they are amazing. I love my O2 pillow from here. I've never slept better. Ordered one for my sisters' birthday (who lives in Berkeley). The woman was so nice when I asked if it could be delivered on or before her birthday. That's important in our family. Long story short...it got lost in the shuffle of a holiday weekend and was not sent. When I called to check to make sure it would happen, Steven apologized and said he would personally deliver it to her!! And he called after to say he had done it!! Now that's going above and beyond. I spent almost $1,000 more than hubby and I had agreed upon for a mattress and I regret my choice! I thought the splurge would be worth it, after all, we spend so much time in bed, right? The sales experience was great, they are nice, low key and give no pressure. The bed, after 7 months, is just OK. It is really not all that comfortable and not worth the extra money. I wanted to get away from memory foam and some of the standard mattress choices out there (Sealy, etc.), but I'm not sure this is the answer. I decided against a couple other mattresses when I went the European Sleep Works route, and I am kinda curious about them still, wondering if I'd be happier with them. We bought a mattress from this company after trying and loving a particular mattress in their showroom. The mattress that arrived felt a lot firmer than the one in the showroom; we waited a bit (they say that it takes some time for it to 'wear in'), but found it was still much firmer than the one in the showroom. (We even went back to the showroom to try the display model again and make sure we weren't imagining it.) After three visits from ESW with new mattresses or parts of mattresses we are somewhat happy, but the mattress still doesn't feel like the one in the shop. I am not sure that they have any way of checking the consistency of the springs and the latex, which suggests they don't have any way of ensuring that their products are consistent. In the end it appeared that the mattresses sold don't necessarily match the one in the showroom in firmness, perhaps in part because they use natural latex*. The first woman we dealt with in the showroom was helpful, the others seemed to be helping us grudgingly. For example they repeatedly suggested we buy a new slat base even though their delivery driver had checked ours (from a previous purchase) and found it fine. So in all I would say make sure that what you receive is what you wanted. In the end they offered to take the mattress back and give us a refund, but we were too busy with a new small baby to fool around with it any more. PS I love their extremely expensive latex pillow, 5 *. * but the mattresses appear to vary as well, at least according to one employee, and they don't have any way of checking for consistency. read more

My sales lady seemed quite knowledgeable and quickly helped me find my dream bed to fit an impossible space in my new home... upon delivery it seems not to have been written up correctly and ESW was bold enough to require a fifty dollar upgrade although: --this cost me two more weeks wait time --i knew about their unique split queen box spring (that had been verbally sold to me) --the supervisor said we were compromising but i still think that fifty bucks is pretty chicken sh*t when i spent over 2500 on my new bed and have been waiting 6+ weeks anyway, double check your sales invoice and ask all of your questions and confirm three times because twice doesn't seem to cut it. read more

This is one of those occasions where I wish I had more than 5 stars to give out. "You get what you pay for" doesn't always hold true, but it sure does here, and good sleep is priceless so it's worth paying a bit more. Actually, when you compare the ESW price to what you pay for some conventional mattress sets, and you figure in that the springy slat system is included in the price of the mattress, it really isn't all that bad. The biggest problem is that staying in hotels sucks now because their mattresses are crappy in comparison, and it's easy to forget just how bouncy and annoying standard mattresses are. I can flop, shimmy, twist and turn all I want on the ESW bed without my wife even noticing - I could probably do jumping jacks on the bed without waking her up now. Hmm, maybe I'll try that. The Oxygen pillows are expensive, but when you think about how often you get new conventional pillows the Oxygen pillows are actually a relative bargain as they take years to compress. I could go on and on ad nauseum here about the materials they use, how nice the service was, how willing they are to swap things out and let you try things, blah de blah de blah - all you really need to do is go in and lie down, and they sell themselves. read more

We bought our mattress, a Nordic 2 firmness C, in 2005 from this location. That's nine years! And the mattress is still perfect! It breathes, it supports, it nurtures, it gives, it takes, it fills in the gaps and it adjusts to our changing bodies with consummate ease and supreme tact and sensitivity. It rolls with the punches, is forgiving and it's cool. It's too cool for school. It never sleeps hot. It's constant. It's basically god's love in the form of a mattress. Even the beds at the St Regis SF do not compare. They are too bulky, too soft and have body divots that ESB do not form! No one needs a sixteen inch mattress. When we bought this mattress in 2005, the US was in the middle of a "foam shortage" that was causing mattress manufacturers to hike up prices on their shoddy goods. I researched and learned that most conventional mattresses are filled with chemicals like petroleum and formaldehyde. That why most of them "sleep hot". They can't breathe. They suffocate us. They are ridiculously overbuilt in such a way, that they are bound to sag within a few short years. What goes up must come down, yo! They are hideously overpriced for standard technology of planned obsolescence as is the case with most consumer goods. They are built to break down or be replaced in only a few years. ESW decided to step out of the madness. They studied sleep and what is needed for the best nights sleep a human can get. The epic researchers at ESW figured out that body rejuvenation is optimal when the body drops temperature during deep sleep. That bigger is not better. That the individual coil system makes a world of difference when it comes to function and repairs/ replacements. That latex and wool are natural fibers that will last and resist bed bugs and dust mites. They sourced the best latex they could find and when they found latex they thought was better, they incorporated it into their beds. they innovate, create, yet keep it simple. Bless them. It just made sense to me. Now, nine years later I can truly say this is the best bed I've ever had. A few tips. We skipped the slat system and opted for a platform bed without a platform ( just the existing slats on the modern bedframe) Around 2008 we felt like we wished we got the firmest mattress as the springs seemed a little too bouncy, not in a bad way, but we wanted more support. So we went to Home Depot and got two pieces of wood that we connected to make a plank for our queen bed. We drilled holes in the planks so that our sweet little mattress, then just a toddler, could breathe and keep us cool and relaxed. We planked it. After that, pure perfection. Now the bed is its middle school years and is just as dependable and genius as if ever was. It hasn't started to mouth off yet but I'll update the review when it becomes a pre-teen. I was ahead of the latex trend back in 2005, but now latex mattresses are everywhere. That's progress, but this bed is engineered amazingly well with the individual coil system. I'm an IKEA furniture fiend, so the idea of paying European Sleep Works' prices was not appealing, and I wasn't excited when my husband dragged me there. But I'm so glad we bought a new mattress there! We had done research on their website beforeheand, so we knew about their spring coil and natural latex foam rubber matresses. We were convinced we would get one of their spring coil matresses (like most mattresses in the US). Bring your own pillows, and be prepared to spend a long time shopping. You'll get a personalized tour of the matresses and you'll be invited to lie on each one. You'll test the different mattress types and the different firmness levels. After trying the natural latex foam rubber matress (common in Europe) we thought we might prefer it. Then we tried the pillow top and we were sold. We chose the medium firmness. The worst thing about European Sleep Works is that you have to wait a long time for delivery. The price is a combination of the mattress and the adjustable slat suspension base (you can choose a high or low base). The pillow top is also expensive. But you're going to spend a good portion of your life in your bed and we decided it was worth it. I was three months pregnant when we went shopping. At eight months I was still remarking how glad I was that we got the new mattress. (I did get a wool moisture pad to go on top so that I wouldn't ruin my expensive, new bed with any pregnancy-related liquids.) I could lay on my side without my arm falling asleep! A year later I still think this is one awesome mattress. I would highly recommend visiting European Sleep Works if you are mattress shopping. Just note that the cheapest mattress (Queen size Alpine mattress with slat system) is $1800. Their mattresses never go on sale. They don't tell you, but you can opt out of the slat system and use your own box spring, which will reduce your cost. read more

Did not work for me. After almost 3 years of use, I still regret my decision to purchase this mattress system. My customer service experience was meh. First off, the salesperson did not seem to care that I was there at all. In fact during the sales process, she saw another customer, who happen to be the parents of a friend of her child's. She ended talking to her instead for quite a bit... Also, although I had always preferred the firmer mattress, the salesperson insisted that I should get the slighter softer version of their mattress - the Nordic II. Another reason I was miffed was that I wasn't told that there were two version of the foundation - a high and a low. She just ordered the high for me. SInce I have a platform bed frame, the high foundation sticks out. As for the product itself, I was in quite a bit of pain during the first few weeks. I contacted the store and was told to adjust the slats and let my body break into the new bed. Since the mattress is limp and heavy, it was really difficult to move the mattress in order to adjust the slats. (This is also a problem for me everytime I change the sheets...) After a few more months of this, I just gave up and my body just accepted the pain. Whenever I travel, I seem to sleep better on other beds. Now that I am moving, I decided to purchase a new mattress and not take this with me. In summary, I got sold on the "European" system. What a waste! Went there since I knew what I want, had done a ton of research and had heard their ad on the radio. The place is cold with horrendous, snobby customer service. I would give it a Failing grade. They bombard you with barrage of brags and misinformation about how good they are and even correct you if you have any opinion!!! Finally after you have swallowed their insults, snobby attitude and sucky customer service, they will tell you to leave if you don't like the place, treatment and/or pricing. That is right. You heard it right, because the owner is first and you the customer come second!!! There is a charge for delivery and don't try to bargain or ask for any discounts either. read more

Store experience was fine. I went by myself for a fact-finding mission, then went back with the husband. The two different store people who helped me on the two different occasions were knowledgeable, patient, and made a strange experience (lying on mattresses in public, and lying on mattresses where other strangers had been) as pleasant as it could have been under the circumstances. I brought a sweatshirt to lay over the pillows to protect my head from any cooties.... Mattress delivered a half hour ago. I spent the past half hour vacuuming the stairs and bedroom, and sanitizing the bathroom. The delivery people were courteous and arrived within the 2-hour window, but they were sweaty boys with shoes on and one of them had to use the "facilities." I tried to be nice about it and offered them some water and paper towels to wipe off their dripping sweat in this 90-degree heat, but I'm just a girl and am grossed out at the sight of sweaty people touching (assembling) my brand new mattress even before I got a chance to dirty it up myself (J/K... I use mattress pads, ya know!).... I'll update this review after I have had a chance to sleep on the mattress. : ) UPDATE: Love the mattress. We've been sleeping on it for 4 nights now. In our case, there was no need for a break-in period. It feels like I'm being cuddled from above by the blanket and below by the mattress... 360 degrees of feeling cuddled... Can't beat that! The mattress feels soft, yet provides excellent support for the body. Only drawback is that I don't want to get out of bed now! read more

I like some of their bedroom furniture but wouldn't buy a mattress or pillow here, and everything is quite overpriced. Actually, I did buy one of their oxygen pillows and it ended up not being any more comfy than my old standard pillow. Further, it gave me a constant itchy throat. Maybe it was a latex allergy, as soon as I stopped using that pillow, I felt much better. This store also does not accept American Express, just FYI. read more

We were way overdue for getting a new mattress and hubby was falling for their radio ads every time. He's the "princess" in our house; I can sleep anywhere. I've slept in some of the finest museums in Europe and awakened refreshed. I did NOT see the point of spending all this money just for a mattress. Whatever. So, one very busy Saturday we hit this place. I was very skeptical but wanted the princess/man to be happy. The beds were comfortable. We spent hours there, asking questions, trying out every bed 3x, analyzing it to death. I wanted him to pick one and just get out of there, even though the people were very cool and lots of fun. We order, we wait 6 long weeks for our bed (Nordic 2, "b" softness). The bed arrives, exactly on time, no problems at all. We sleep. Oh. My. God. For the first time in my life, I have problems getting up in the morning. Who knew sleep could be THIS good? We bought it in November 2006 and now in March 2008, we are still very, very happy with this bed. Nearly every night crawling into bed, I say, out loud, "oh, this is a GREAT bed!" It took me a few months to get used to actually getting out of bed on time. I never understood my friends that slept in. I have completely been transformed. My hubby was right (as he often is). Damn those smart engineer types. I guess everyone's review is mixed, so proceed with caution. I can't believe how much better I sleep. I'm even starting to get to the point where when I get ready for a trip, I realize that I'll be sleeping in a sub-par bed, and I don't look forward to that part of my trip. We have had our mattress and the oxygen pillow for about a year and they are amazing!!! My fiance and I travel a lot and every single time we come home we rave to each other about our bed for a week! We got the softest of the soft and then added theyre soft mattress cover and pillow top. It came to about 3k...but considering my back problems and how much time we spend in it...its the best purchase we have ever made!!!!! It will really, really limit your neck and back pain. I used to sleep on my neck wrong at least once a week and the pillow cured that. I honestly take it with me EVERYWHERE we travel to. I cant say enough how much I love this freakin bed. I never thought I would love anything this much. I just envy the guests that will get to sleep on it, when we replace with a new one in 10 years. The sales people are not obnoxious. They are very nice and they will allow you to return or exchange easily. read more

Update: The mattress was still under warranty, so I had a service appointment today. The top of the mattress was replaced. The problem seems to be with the frame (bought elsewhere) and not with the mattress. I am very happy with the service! Original review: I bought a king size mattress about 2 years ago. Pretty quickly it started to sag in spots, like over the edge of the bed frame. The 2 of us who sleep in the bed weigh less than 250 pounds total, so I know it is not because of our size. The bed frame and slats/support are similar to what they sell there, confirmed by the delivery people. I think I am past the warranty at this point, but I wish I had contacted them about this. Maybe something is wrong with the mattress I have. read more

We love love love our new mattress and cool cherrywood bed from these guys. I've haven't had a night's sleep as comfortable as the one I had last night in years! Their system is quite unique - based upon layers of thousands of coils, natural latex, and trying out - slowly - eachof the different configurations they have (five mattress types, three firmnesses, with or without pillow top). My only knock on the place is their inflexible attitude/system of delivery. They were rude, unhelpful and inflexible when it came to arranging the delivery of our bed. Otherwise they'd be a five star place to be sure. Set up was professional however. read more
