Absolutely ridiculous behavior I had a particularly bad stomach ache this morning and while I was taking care of business in the restroom I was greeted with multiple knocks on the door about 8 minutes into my journey I responded with "someone is using the restroom" multiple times to no answer just more periodic knocking. Eventually, the man outside proclaims I've been in the restroom too long. At this point, I don't want to struggle through the rest with someone harassing me through the bathroom door. I step out at 12 minutes and the worker outside proclaims I've been in the bathroom for over 20 minutes (which was a lie, I have timestamps from a text conversation before I arrived at the restaurant) What an extremely unprofessional way to treat your customers. Have you never had a stomach ache before?! Sometimes it takes more than 10 minutes to use the restroom....Do you think I enjoy sitting in public restrooms for that long? read more

The last few times I've visited my sister, we've come here for drinks and snacks. I just took a bite of the banana nut bread she bought me a couple of days ago and it was still moist and delicious. A few months ago I tried their Turkey Club Avocado sandwich on a flaky, buttery croissant. Crumbs were everywhere, but I enjoyed my messy lunch. My Mocha Frappe with oat milk hit the spot, and my husband's tropical fruity Sunrise was perfect, not too sweet - just right on a hot summer day. Excellent family owned business! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and inviting! Can't forget to mention the alluring aroma of brewed coffee. Party of 6 arrived around 11:30am, and the line was quick with an even amount of diners entering and leaving the business. The staff are kind, caring, and considerate of our large order when some of us could not decide what to drink and when we asked for substitutions. The popular order of the day was the #5 or Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Croissant. I decided to order their Breakfast Delight, a croissant with scrambled eggs, green onions, and cheese with a Sunrise smoothie. Very pleased with the large portions of food. Nice little coffee shop in evergreen village square. Came to work on some work stuff, they have wifi with a password. Limited seating but wasn't super busy. They also have some outdoor seating but it was a little cold today so sat inside. I had a Vietnamese iced coffee and a bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich. They had a few different options for bagels, I opted for the jalapeño cheddar bagel. It was okay, maybe not the freshest but it was also 2pm so what can you expect. I am reviewing this little coffee shop again. It is under different ownership since I've been there (many years ago). The food items in the case look better than before. I ordered a cold brew and an everything bagel with cream cheese. Both were good. I have realized when I work remotely, it can't be at home. I don't get much done with the home distractions. So I walked over to Evergreen Coffee Co. and set up shop with my laptop inside. I spent about 3 hours there (free WiFi) and got a lot done. It's also not too loud. Usually coffee shops have lots of noises but this one doesn't, it's actually pretty quiet. They do good business here, there are people coming and going and some people stay for a while. read more

This is a hidden gem in Evergreen. It is so cute and nice inside with accommodating and kind employees. I ordered a breakfast delight on croissant and a hot vanilla latte. The portion is so generous! One sandwich can feed 2 people and the hot drinks are piping hot and taste good. Perfect sweetness. Overall will come back and will bring my husband with me next time. I used to drive all the way from San Jose to Mountain View to get my favorite bagel sandwich. But, today, I found an alternative to my favorite in this gem of a coffee shop. The service was good with a quick and easy tap to pay system. What we ordered: The Veggie sandwich on pesto bagel--definitely a contender for my #1 spot. There's a reason why this sandwich is frequently ordered: the veggies were fresh, seasoned to perfection and tossed in a vinaigrette. Pair that with a pesto cheese bagel--chef's kiss. The Nova Lox on pesto bagel--my husband loved this one so much and he doesn't even like smoked salmon. Viet coffee was ok Strawberry Matcha was a miss for me It's a small cafe with limited seating, but, if you score a seat outside, you can enjoy your food while people watching. Lovely coffee spot perfect to catch up with girlfriends. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Menu with a wide array of items - lattes, coffee, teas, bakery items , sandwiches etc I'm on a mint tea kick so I ordered a medium size and added some almond milk. Also asked for an extra cup of hot water , no problem, no extra charge. My friend enjoyed her turkey avocado croissant and my other friend enjoyed her latte with the cute complimentary chocolate ball candy addition on top. Thank you! I was running some errands in the area and needed a pick-me-up. Found this cute coffee house and decided to pull in to the (normally) busy plaza. I ordered a Dirty Chai and a Jalapeño Bagel with my favorite add-ons (cream cheese, tomatoes, red onions, and salt and pepper). Don't knock it until you try it. So delicious! Anyway, the bagel was toasted perfectly and the jalapeño chunks baked in were still crunchy which gave it the hint of spice that is usually missing from jalapeño bagels. The associate was very generous with the toppings and I could admit that I devoured my entire bagel within 5 minutes. My Dirty Chai was super good and even came topped off with some sort of chocolate crunch ball -- really cute touch. The menu has lots of other items to choose from like traditional and croissant sandwiches, house breakfast sandwiches, frappes, and other signature hot or iced coffee choices. This small family owned coffee and bagel house accepts cash and card, and the hours are slightly modified because of COVID -- a photo of the temporary hours are attached to this review. Came here twice for their Nova Lox bagel, I'm obsessed! I normally go with the pesto bagel for that one. I enjoyed their iced vietnamese coffee too. I've been here many times. It used to be good. It no longer is. Food quality has dropped a LOT lately... But that's besides the point. I called in a phone order for 1 breakfast sandwich, 1 salami sandwich, and 1 coffee. I repeated three times, I wanted oatmilk. I asked him to read it back, i corrected him when he said soy milk, and told him, no, it's oatmilk. I get my order, it's soy milk... I go back in and ask them to remake it, and he argues with me saying that he read me back the order and I confirmed soy. I told him that, No, I had said oatmilk on the phone 3 times over. It's honestly embarrassing how rude and disrespectful he was about this. I told him fine! Keep the coffee. I'm not drinking it with soy milk and I'm not paying for another. Terrible customer service, terrible food. Terrible business model. I'm thoroughly disappointed and will not be coming back. Even after calming down for a few minutes, then asking for a refund, I have been argued with. I sat there until they gave me my money back. Will never return. Wanted to grab some coffee and I happened to pass by this coffee shop. I ordered an iced vietnamese coffee and an iced caramel macchiato with oatmilk. The vietnamese coffee was very flavorful and nicely balanced. However, the caramel macchiato was a little bland and overly sweet. Most importantly, I found some white chunks in the bottom of the drink that might've been chunks of cream which made the drink a bit suspicious. This sandwich shop used to be really good but now it seems they only care about taking your money. My family's smoothies came out like juice, and when I went to let them know they just walked away mid sentence. SAUSAGE, EGG on CROISSANT [hold the cheese] MOCHA CAPPUCCINO ICED VANILLA LATTE Sandwiches were good and came out piping hot. Be aware that these items may take a bit of time but the food is made fresh to each order. The espresso pulls seems to be on the mild side and my sister was a bit disappointed in her cappuccino because it came across very watery. My latte was slightly sweeter than I liked but was good nonetheless. Just be aware if you prefer your coffee less sweetened, ask the employee to cut down on the amount of syrup going in. 4 stars because the visit overall was good. I've lived right next to Evergreen Coffee my entire life and my bf and I FINALLY decided to get crab a snack and coffee before our errands. First of off, I love how close it is by my house. Second, the vibe and environment of the coffee shop inside makes you feel so warm and welcome. It gets pretty busy in the mornings so I'm glad others enjoy this place as well. The staff and service is amazing!! After ordering, we sat at one of the cute and simply decorated tables inside and when our viet coffee was finished, the guy who took our order at the register (most likely the owner) brought our drink order directly to us!! When we sat outside, I noticed that he also brought out and kindly served other customers who were waiting and chilling for their drinks. So kind!! The coffee cake I got paired perfectly with the viet coffee. This coffee was a bit stronger than other ones I've had as I feel like they could've added a tiny bit more of condensed milk. But that's just how I like my Viet coffee!! I would love to come back and try their bagels, sandwiches and other drinks!! read more

Very conveniently located coffee shop in Evergreen Village Square with lots of parking and seating available to enjoy your coffee, get some work done, or catch up with some friends. I do run the risk of running into someone I went to high school with (or multiple), but that doesn't stop me from visiting. The coffee here isn't amazing by any means, but I like to support local and the coffee here does get the job done. The pastries here are decent too, especially the cheese danish. I think the only thing I wasn't impressed with over the years was the matcha latte. I have to give 5/5 stars for the BAGELS though. I had one from here yesterday for the first time and WOW!! These are DELICIOUS. I don't know where they get their bagels from or if they make it themselves, but they're so fluffy. I tried their nova lox bagel was blown away. The jalapeno cheese bagel I got it on had the right amount of kick and cheese, and it wasn't too hard or chewy.
