Ordered this one to go. It's a cute spot ! Love that they have alternative milk for lactose free / dairy free options.

Save your local coffee shops! No need to go to Starbies when you can go to a coffee shop with soul! Nestled in cozy Evergreen Square is evergreen square coffee. It has a plethora of offerings to satisfy your breakfast needs! Ranging from breakfast sandwiches, to espresso drinks to Bagels and Pastries, smoothies, iced coffee and even Frappuccino, and also unique drinks there's something here for everyone! My breakfast everything bagel was steaming hot and fresh. Bagel is was lightly toasted and I love how the cheddar cheese was melting onto the bagel. ! Absolutely perfect. My 20 oz iced hazelnut latte work whole milk? Strong and dreamy, just like me. Anyway. My friend got the massive butter croissant, it's the size of a small dessert plate! He said it's not as buttery as anticipated, it was crispy and the chewy and better than Lee's sandwiches. I think it would taste better warmed up. He also got the chocolate and croissant which is substantially smaller, it was, crispy and I liked it. Service is fast and on point. Cafe is super cozy too!

this is my first time visiting the Evergreen area. I had just moved to Silver Creek and you normally walked down to the Starbucks, but I drove here to see if I could get some things done mostly uploading hundreds of gigabytes of photos to my new gallery. I ordered a plain black tea iced during this crazy heat wave in March 2026 and a tuna sandwich with extra tuna added cheese toasted. For the price, it was kind of a fit of a bad deal in my opinion just because I enjoy getting a foot-long tuna sandwich from Subway that you can often get for a great deal as a combo. For the sake of supporting small businesses I was OK with the ambience the price of the service. For today's mission, the Wi-Fi was a bit slow with 12 MB per second upload, which is kind of what I get at home so after I finish my meal, I packed up and headed to the library which is just across the street. I can definitely see myself bringing my three dogs here as there was a girl who left her dog outside while she ordered and she spent a few minutes outside on the deck i'm sure this place gets really crowded especially when the weather is nice. No complaints five stars.

Tucked away in the corner of Evergreen. Always bustling with customers young and older. Love the community atmosphere and the owners are really nice. Told my son about this place and now he sometimes walk here to get a ham, bacon and egg sandwich with an option of bagel your choice or a . Cute hangout after school or when you want to get some work done.

Turkey club, Iced Mexican Mocha and Espresso Panna Cotta

We came around brunch time and it was busy but lines went very quickly. Huge selection of drinks and sandwiches. Friendly staff took our order and it was ready within 10 minutes. For two people the total came out to $30. Food 5/5: We got the turkey club croissant and it was very tasty. Everything you could wish for in a sandwich, it was huge, fresh and the bacon and bread had a nice crisp. Drinks 3.5/5: I got the Iced Mexican Mocha, it tasted like a packet of hot chocolate mix, it was a bit grainy but I'm happy they had milk substitutes and opted for oatmilk. I would skip this next time and instead try a matcha or the Vietnamese Iced coffee. We also tried the Panna Cotta Espresso, this one was basic, but good. There's indoor/outdoor seating but at the time we went all the tables were occupied by people that were planning on a long stay, not just for a quick bite or sip of coffee. Tons of people had their laptops plugged in, some were having meetings and then a sweet elderly lady decided to take all the chairs and reserved them. This place runs on a first come first serve basis so it was a bit rude , waitstaff did seem annoyed but didn't say anything. Nobody wants to upset the elderly lol it was fine we decided to take a stroll across the street to the plaza and found a bench under a trellis to sit under. Calm surroundings with a fountain and some people doing tai chi. After a while we decided to go back and try a couple of their Italian sodas. We got the cherry and the cherry lime. $6 each. We would skip these next time because it was flat and didn't really taste like anything. Overall would love to go back for another sandwich and to try another coffee!

    Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha Latte
    Trisha L.

I just tried their Dubai Matcha and it was good! I asked it to be less sweet and it was still pretty flavorful. Overall, their matcha lattes don't tend to be too sweet anyway so I think even if it's regular sweetness it still tastes balanced. I like coming here after Pilates class or when I go to the Farmers Market. It's a nice little neighborhood cafe and my drinks always come out good and not overly sweet. They also have pastries and sandwiches so it's a nice place to get a quick snack.

    20oz. cup orange mango smoothie

This place is still an all time 5-stars for service and foods/beverages. It's a small store/cafe with good menu selections/breakfast sandwiches/bagels/pastries/smoothies/coffee/tea/etc. Of course, it is usually packed with customers, students, seniors, bikers, and more. Dogs too! Positive coffee shop vibes are still good and original. Must love Wednesday views, especially when there's an active Farmer's Market outside. Evergreen is a very friendly and welcoming neighborhood community. This place stands out. There are still plenty of tables and chairs outdoors too. Cashiers are busy as usual ringing up customers nonstop. Yes, it gets loud as people are studying/chatting/enjoying their coffee moments inside. Prices have definitely gone up, but everything still tastes satisfying and good. I had a delicious 20oz. cup orange mango smoothie $7.95 with my breakfast delight sandwich on regular bagel $7.50. Simple and tasty. They really hooked me up with lots of green scallions in my eggs. Nice. It's great to see them fully staffed again. Gorgeous views outside as usual. I really hope they can get an expansion in space someday. This place deserves more space indoors. Customers are still loving it here as their regular neighborhood coffee shop spot.

Rare find - old coffee shop with trendy menu at affordable prices! Plenty of space to sit and work/study. They have dubai chocolate matcha latte too. Service is quick.

I come here a few times as it's near my house and they're always so sweet! My usual order is a mocha frappe and a brownie. I've tried a few of the other frappe flavors, but their mocha is my personal favorite. They have free wifi if you ever need to work or study and a good amount of seating. It will get packed occasionally where you'll be standing out the door which is good for business! Whenever I pay or get my order, one of the ladies calls me "sweetie." If you come here enough, you notice just how many regulars they have which says something. It feels like a community seeing them interact with their customers.

Very friendly service. Cool environment when it's hot out. Got the Java chip frapp and has a powdery texture and flavor to it.. I'm looking at other people's order and second guessing maybe I should've ordered a fruit smoothie lol.

It's been a while and I came back here to study and the price is getting higher and higher. Quality is still good but they charge for alternative milk options. My $6 drink turned into a $8 because of it . Service is still friendly and quick.

    Randy P.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when restaurants charge a premium but skimp on the main ingredient -- in this case, the lox. This was $12, and as you can see, the tomato slice is bigger and thicker than the lox itself. I don't mind paying the price, no complaint there, but please don't skimp out and rip off your customers.

View for the farmers market from the patio

Everything I wanted it to be. So I had this place bookmarked for a while and today my husband mentioned it and took me here. Turned out to be great. It's up in the evergreen area and I had not been to this shopping center in years. It's in my area but somehow I always forget about it. Anyhow we went on a Sunday early afternoon and it happened to be at the same time as the farmers market. So if you don't like farmers markets then you might want to wait till closer to the afternoon because coming. Considering the farmers market and the amount of people out the experience was quite enjoyable. My husband and I both ordered the Vietnamese ice coffee and a bagel sandwich. I got the turkey club on an everything bagel with no tomatoes and my husband got the sausage and egg sandwich on a plain bagel. We ordered at the counter and since they were getting busy we grabbed a table outside. I like the fact they had a big enough table to pull my daughter stroller up to it. They finished our coffee quickly and brought them out to us since we were not inside when they called our number. Shortly after they finished our bagel sandwiches. We ate them outside and when I took that first bite it was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be. It tasted great the bacon was crispy and had the perfect topping. I really love when a bagel shop put cucumbers on a sandwich so that was perfect. My husband said his sandwich was equally as delicious. Sitting outside was nice and relaxing and created a great atmosphere for our meal. 10/10 would highly recommend and would definitely go back.

Occasionally burnt espresso but I love them too much to mind. I am a matcha snob to say the LEAST. Hands down best coffee shop matcha in the Bay Area. The classic iced matcha latte with honey is grassy and earthy and creamy and a little sweet. The iced banana pudding matcha latte had people lined up around the corner for months when it came out. It is deliciously worth the wait. Best banana cold foam in my opinion because it's made with actual bananas instead of flavoring so it's much more mellow. The double matcha they had for awhile is also awesome. Banana cold foam also goes great on an espresso latte. Now they let you add whichever cold foam you like to whatever drink which is great. Basically you can't go wrong. They are always changing up the menu for the new season and have lots of unique drinks on their menu. Not much seating inside at this location. The winchester Blvd one has more if that's what you're looking for. Their pastries are also all yummy and they sell their matcha powder for $60 for 100g which is a GREAT price for a great matcha. Originally I was looking to get pearls, but they didn't have any at the time. I asked the staff how the sweetness is, and he explained it tends to run on the sweeter side and grass jelly would add additional sweetness. I ended up going with 25% sweet. I think I could have gone to 50%, but it's fine. Regardless of the sweetness, the jasmine flavor was a bit off in taste for me in that it didn't have the floral quality that I was expecting. I'd say the grass jelly didn't add too much sweetness. I was also expecting the grass jelly to be the one that sinks to the bottom of the cup, but it was floating at the top, so initially when I was drinking it, I thought they had forgotten to add the grass jelly, but it was there. It was also cubed for ease of drinking. In addition to milk teas and teas, they do have Vietnamese coffee with different types of foam/cream toppings. It's cool they have the standard salt coffee, but also toppings such as ube, pandan, durian, egg. I had a Vietnamese coffee previously here, but I can't recall exactly how it was. They do also have some sweet pastry and some savory snack options. The shop was clean and spacious. It has some seating in here. It was pretty empty when we got here. They do have a happy hour 3-6 pm for two types of drinks (but all I remember is jasmine tea), in which the drinks are $4 each. Considering it seems most of their drinks land in the $6-$8 realm, this is a good deal. Service was very friendly and the staff member who helped me was informative. What I did not anticipate was how annoying it would be to get 24 people to actually respond and send me their orders on time. Apparently, getting married was easier than getting everyone to pick a sandwich and a drink. I finally gave everyone a hard Wednesday night deadline, collected all the orders, and walked into Arome Cafe the next day, just two days before my wedding, with an order for 24 meals and 24 drinks, along with very specific instructions about the pickup time and exactly who would be picking everything up. Needless to say, I was probably giving off some slightly stressed-out bride energy. And then there was Hannah. Hannah was absolutely amazing. She patiently went through everything with me, made sure every single order was entered correctly, confirmed all of the pickup details, and even took the extra time to write everyone's names on their individual food items so there wouldn't be any confusion on the wedding day. With 24 different people and orders, that small detail made such a huge difference. On a morning when there were a million things happening at once, Hannah and Arome Cafe were one thing I simply did not have to worry about. Everything was ready, organized, and exactly as we had discussed. Hannah, you were truly a quiet angel in the middle of our chaotic wedding morning, and I will always be grateful for how kind and helpful you were during a week when my brain was being pulled in about 500 different directions. And, of course, the food and drinks were amazing! Despite it being such a massive order, the quality was completely on point. Everything was fresh, delicious, and prepared with the same care you would expect from a much smaller order. Thank you, Hannah, for being so patient, organized, and genuinely kind. You probably had no idea how much taking care of something as simple as lunch meant to a bride two days before her wedding, but it was one less thing I had to think about, and at that point, that meant everything P.S. To the owners of Arome Cafe: I think Hannah deserves a raise. Seriously.

This plaza has a variety selection of restaurants like spartan's tacos, mcdonald's, pizza my heart,…read morele boulanger, honey berry, panda express, but I've never tried this place before so we gave it a go. Came at July 16 at 11:35am, and ordered 2 pastas and a salad. Theres was only one other singular customer in the entire restaurant who looked like she's already been there a while and was already sitting down when we came in, and 30 minutes flew (which is the end of our lunch break) and that customer just got her food. So imagine how long it took for our food to come out 40+ minutes. I'm not mad about it at all but I was just genuinely so confused. Because it took 40+ mins our 2 pastas came out way before my salad. Even stopping by the crowded starbucks, all 4 of our drinks came out, and we had time to sit and chat and come back and our food was still not ready. I was so so lost about how my salad took so much time when it was just lettuce, proscuitto, and eggs. Compared to TWO whole pastas with chicken and bread. But they also forgot the bread that came out with it. I was actually just confused because the place was practically empty as well. The salad was really average however the pasta was too hard, needed to be boiled way longer, and just did not taste good unfortunately. I rarely give any one stars so this says a lot :( Would not return and should've went to the other spots in the plaza for lunch.
