This place is always on point. We live close by and we've ordered from them through door dash and have gone in person. The orders through door dash are always accurate and really good. Sundays can be a little packed because of the farmer's market, but the service is still efficient and courteous. The breakfast sandwiches are yummy and filling. They have a great selection of bagles, pastries, and coffee drinks. I've also had lunch sandwiches here- my personal favorite is the veggie sandwich on sourdough bread- all of them are well made and they don't fall apart when you eat them. Wish this place opened late so I could study there in the evening, but otherwise, a stellar neighborhood spot. read more

Update! I visited recently during the COVID19 shelter in place order, and I received such friendly and quick service. I ordered the rose-ucchino and a bacon egg and cheese on sourdough. The coffee was amazing, like a mix of a cappuccino and Mexican hot chocolate with a garnish of a white chocolate covered espresso bean to top it off. This was a perfect way to start my morning after shopping at the farmers market at the square. Also, I think there's new owners? I found Evergreen Coffee through DoorDash, and I ordered the Turkey Club Sandwich with sourdough bread, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, and Spiced Chai Frappe. The Turkey Club Sandwich tastes good, but what you can really taste are vegetables like the tomatoes, onions, lettuce, etc. I personally like vegetables and they tasted fresh, so it wasn't that much of a problem to me. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee tastes good, it doesn't exactly taste like authentic Vietnamese Iced Coffee, but it is very close to it and I would order it again. When you receive your food with hair in it - it's an indication that the overall quality of the business is failing and quality measures are not in place to prevent hair in food. The bagel sandwiches were hard and stale, the tuna was missing flavor and very dry. They offered to remake the sandwiches but, we declined and don't plan on retuning. Food: 1/10. Service: 3/10. I doordashed some bacon, egg & cheese croissant sandwiches, an orange poppy loaf cake, carrot loaf cake & a Vietnamese iced coffee. The sandwiches were so simple yet so good! They are $8.25/each on Doordash (an extra $1 to have it on a croissant) which is pretty pricey. The Vietnamese coffee was $6.95 - it was really sweet and strong. The orange poppy loaf cake was $3.60 and tasted dry compared to the carrot loaf cake which was also $3.60. I wouldn't Doordash from here again, but don't mind driving down to buy some more sandwiches and coffee. I'm giving it 4 stars because we were missing 2 sandwiches in our order. read more

Been going here for many years! It gives exactly what you'd expect a local coffee shop to give, and for that I'll give it 5 stars. The food and other pastries taste good and the drinks taste good! The only bad experience I've ever had was poor mixing on a hot chocolate--lots of chocolate mix on the bottom. But typically, I have zero issues. Love this place. Located in Evergreen Village Square near Walmart. This is one of the few mom-n-pop shops that have made it past 5 year mark. As you step in, the right side of the shop resembles a cozy living room with a flat screen tv, fluffy couches and cushy seats. Their are manly locals that visit this place almost on a daily basis. The customer service is excellent, even-though it tends to get busy. On Sundays, it crazy busy, which just means the love is that strong. My go to drinks rotates between a dirty chai, cold brew, and Mexican mocha. Dirty Chai to get me in that Zen mind set, cold brew for those hot days, and Mexican Mocha for those mornings I need a little touch of abuela in the morning. I haven't tried their breakfast sandwich yet, but maybe if I ever get that hungry for breakfast, I'll give them a try. read more

I stared at the extensive menu of items and walked up to the cashier and ask for recommendations on a hot coffee drink. Out of the several drinks he recommended the Mexican Mocha caught my attention. I asked what made the drink "Mexican" and he stated that it was the spices that gave the drink its name. I ordered the Mexican Mocha and a Lemon Poppyseed Cake. The cashier began making my coffee and called our order in a timely manner. I went to take a sip of the coffee and noticed there was a chocolate bean on the cap which I thought was a nice touch. I could taste the different spices in the coffee. I've never tasted anything like that. I felt the spices and coffee together were overwhelming in taste. Do you ever walk into a store and it brings you warmth and joy? This place is it. I love a good coffee shop with the aroma of fresh out of the oven pastries and freshly brewed coffee. Despite its ownership change in the past year or so, the quality has carried through. The newer owners are so incredibly sweet and the customer service is unbeatable. This local coffee shop has been a neighborhood gem for years in my eyes. I've been coming here since I was in middle school for their lattes, hot chocolate, sandwiches, and pastries. I've had so many memories in Evergreen Square but many of them boil down to this quaint little shop. From reading, studying for the SAT (lol), to catching up with old friends, this spot was perfect. The sandwiches are amazing and I would recommend any pastries on display. The sandwiches are very affordable and well portioned, ranging anywhere from $5-9. They have breakfast sandwiches and bagels too. My favorite is the Salmon Lox Bagel. Interestingly, it comes with a side of pickles... The coffees are a great pick me up on the weekends and feel like a nice warm hug on your commute to work. Every hot drink comes with a cute little chocolate candy. They have outdoor seating and a protective plastic divider that helps limit contact when you order. They provide hand sanitizer and all staff members wear masks. read more

Though my love for coffee and espresso drinks pours far and wide, I would rather not have to travel too far for a cuppo, and Evergreen Coffee Company is the perfect 5 minute answer. Nestled in the Evergreen Village Square, this quaint coffee shop has indoor seating (appx 24 seats, I counted) on tables, long counters looking out into the square, and small comfy brown sofas (my seat of choice). There are also at least five tables outside with a couple chairs each for those nice weather days. On my first visit, it was a nice warm Sunday and I was hungry so I ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon on wheat toast and a caramel latte, less sweet. My drink and sammy were brought out to me; how nice! Anyways, food talk. I am not a fan of the way they prepare their eggs for their breakfast sandwich, as they are a little dry, however bacon was crisp and plentiful, as it should always be. The drink could have used a bit more ice, but perhaps only because I drink slow and would like the drink to be cold longer. Espresso flavor was not very apparent. Acceptable but not stellar first visit. Second visit was iced Mexican mocha, less sweet. Unique, not too chocolatey, but I would have liked more espresso flavor and more spice to come through. I stayed for a couple hours doing work on my laptop and was not disturbed at all, which was nice. The store was empty for the majority of the time, so for those who feel awkward in a store alone, don't come here on weekdays. Third visit was iced pumpkin spice latte, less sweet. This is probably my favorite so far, as I enjoy the spices used. I wouldn't mind even more spiciness and more espresso though, but that seems to be the case with my experience with drinks here. Need more spice and more espresso flavor! $4.75 for this one (as with their other iced espresso drinks if I'm not mistaken). I have found outlets in the corner of the store, to the left of the television adjacent to one of the sofas. I also spy with my little eye an outlet in the opposite corner of the store, directly to your left upon entry to the store. The gentleman that I usually see on weekdays is helpful yet succinct, and once asked if I needed help finding the outlets I needed. :) A/C is just cool enough for me, and I tend to get cold easily. A nice escape on warm days. Also, if you think you may frequent this place, a stamp card is handy (buy 12 get 1 free) On Sundays, this place is packed and bustling and quite noisy, so not ideal for studying, but will do if you don't mind the hustle and bustle. I've seen students, moms with their daughters still in tutus, families with their cute toddlers, dog lovers, grandmas and grandpas, and all sorts of others on Sundays. Great crowd! I will continue to visit ECC for as long as I live in the area and seek a caffeinated escape in my hood that isn't a Starbucks. Also, I shall make it a point to try their hot drinks, perhaps once the weather cools, and will update my review then. read more

Likewise, there isn't a size option for the iced coffee drinks, there is only one size.
