We had a emergency situation with a dead animal under our house and the odors were toxic and we couldn't find the critter. Phil and his crew were fast and nice. The fit is in the same day too even with a booked schedule. They were in and out in 20 minutes. Called Friday night for emergency service to help with a rat that was either in my kitchen sink cabinet or in the wall right behind, trying to get in. Had my regular pest control guy our earlier in the day. He did a good job identifying where the rat had entered my house and most likely exited back when startled in the morning, and sealed the holes around piping in the cabinet etc. around 8pm I heard pretty persistent scratching coming from inside that cabinet. Wasn't totally sure whether the little dude was stuck behind the cabinets trying to leave or the other way around. Also wasn't particularly in the mood to find out, so decided to call a professional to get them out for emergency service. Philip answered and immediately offered to get on FaceTime to take a look. Long story short, we determined the rat was inside the wall trying to get back in and he basically talked me out of having someone come out to look at it. This guy is GREAT! Seriously, there is so much corruption out there with "pest control" companies. My dad used to be in the business and he let me know that most companies don't get rid of bugs on purpose. They want you to call them again so they can charge you more, so they purposely do a bad job. I kinda took what my dad had to say with a grain of salt - until it happened to me. I had an apartment with some roommates last year. We started getting roaches. I was an absolute mess. I called my dad and he tried to bust them twice but he didn't have the right equipment anymore. My landlord (after way too long of a time period) called Evergard Exterminators. They came, they saw, they conquered. Not one more little pest in the whole place! I have never been so relieved in my whole life. It finally felt livable, like a home, again. Well, fast forward a few months. Worse company ever. Called to scheduled a quote and the guy give me a time frame from 1-3. Didn't even show up till 7. He gave my tenant the time for the service from 1-3 again and call me at 3:45 saying he is on his way and will be there in an hour. So he will be here close to 5 and not the 1-3 time frame he gave them. So we have to schedule for another day. He told me at 6:30 this time. He didn't even show up or give me a call. Came home from vacation to find ants crawling all over the backyard. This was on a Saturday. The following Saturday we were supposed to have our daughter's sleepover birthday party out there. What a relief it is... Within the last two weeks I have gotten numerous bites on my body. A friend said it might be bed bugs UGH!!!! I am only marking a star because it is necessary. Really doesn't even deserve 1. Called last weekend to take care of a bug problem in our kitchen. Made appointment for the next Saturday. Said they would call back the next day to go over what we needed to do to prep. They didn't call until Wednesday which I can understand considering the appointment however acted like he had never spoken to us. Then asked for me to text him the date and time so he remembered. He called again the next day and left a message indicating he really didn't know he talked to me Wednesday. Set the appointment for 10am, got call from him at 11 asking why I didn't call back and if we were ready. We indicated we were, the guys shows up about an hour later. Very unprofessional manner and curt. He said it would only take about 15 minutes, and did not explain anything unless I asked. Sure he gives a 60 day guarantee, but I don't want to use him again. On top of all this, I expressed my concern that the neighbor's yard (which is adjacent to our house with no fence) is where the problem is coming from, to which he responded that he has fixed it and we won't see them again. We saw an exodus of roaches for the next couple days and have not seen any in a few, but I am still leery to trust it. We will be calling another company to do maintenance to ensure this does not happen again. read more

My first time reviewing on YELP. We had a rat in our kitchen. It was the most disgusting feeling ever. Twice we actually saw him but were unable to catch him. We set sticky traps and conventional traps using peanut butter, cheese and crackers, the things he seemed to be getting into the most,. ...nothing. After approx 5 days of this and finding more and more places he was making home, we thought we would give up. I called and spoke with Phil ready to pay to have them come out. Instead of setting an appointment, he told me to set conventional traps a few more days with, of all things, a snickers bar (and he suggested getting one for myself because of my frustration). If that didnt work, he would schedule an appt. He asked me to call him back and let him know if it worked. Well, it did take another 2 days but WE CAUGHT IT!!!!!! After sterilizing my entire kitchen, I called Phil back to thank him...and enjoyed the snickers. I had been suffering from bites for 3 months. Went to the doctor 3x and for prescription for mosquito and spider bites.
