For a family business, they haven't actually did the exterminating themselves, but rather contracted another company to do it. First contact was ok but the guy they sent to check it out didn't bother to actually search the house, he just went off my word. After getting the invoice improved it took awhile to finally settle on a date (our fault). We were supposed to meet one night to finalize the contract, but the guy was a no call, no show situation. Almost the same situation the next night, but he did finally show up. Gave us tips and what to do. Fast forward to when we returned from the house and found several of our items were shifted. Some of our frozen stuff was left outside and gone bad in the process. Same with medication that needed to be refrigerated. Left outside. In addition some plants we were told to trim down beforehand got tented anyways, and as a result died in the process. Next time I need to get a building fumigated, I'll look elsewhere. Or at least the company that actually did the fumigation. read more

Can't review them for the actual job because I canceled the appointment after they were 50 mins late, at which point they called to tell me they would be arriving in 30 mins and that they were "a little behind." No lead-in with an apology. When you book an appt for a specific time, it usually lines up with other things on your schedule, especially if it's a work day. I don't have the luxury of canceling my day to accommodate an operator who can't manage their time well. Ugh. Total bummer. Going with someone else. Customer service is a lost art. read more

The second time they were able to find a new way the rats were entering and sealed it off for me for $30. Andres has come both times and is very professional and explains things well. I had a termite problem along the base board of an inner hall. I called Armando's in the morning, and they had technicians at my house by 2:30, on a Friday in the middle of the quarantine! They wore masks and kept a safe distance at all times. They found the infestation, injected foam into the problem spot, went to DIY to get lumber, rebuilt and painted the shelves in the linen closet, filled in the holes they had drilled, and cleaned up perfectly. As if they were never there. There is a year guarantee, and they said they would come out and fix it if the termites returned. read more

Thought these guys were legit. I used them cause the neighbor went with them. Initially found termites in the house in February 2021, seen and killed a couple of those fuckers and also heard a tapping sound in the area where i found them so I assumed that noise was them. So I hit up Armandos, they came out and recommend a full tent of the house and garage because it hadn't been done in a long time and they suggest every ten years to do a full fumigation. So in Feb 2021 (3 months ago) they tented the house and everything seemed cool. UNTIL last weekend when I seen more termite damage in the same area where I initially found them. After just 3 months we got termites again? In the same fuckin spot? It was like they never turned on the gas when they tented the house and they ripped me off cause I still got fuckin termites IN THE SAME SPOT. So I call Andres and he sounds annoyed I'm calling about this situation. He comes to the house to check it out and says its leftover damage from the tent and there are no termites BUT I hear the same sound I heard when I initially seen the termites. So I asked him "are those termites making that sound?" and he says no, they're some other kind of bug that he's unsure what it is cause he's never heard that noise before. So I'm like why didn't the fumigation kill those fuckers and is there a bug that can survive fumigation? Andres tells me only daddy long leg spiders can survive fumigation because they can hold their breath for a long time haha. Basically the homie couldn't give me an answer on what bug is making the noise or why they weren't killed during the fumigation. I guess my house has special bugs that even stumped the "EXPERT". so Andres treats the area and patches up the hole probably so I won't hear the noise coming from the wall and call complaining again. Then homie tells me to paint the patch work, I'm like fuck the patch work make sure u kill the bugs DO WHAT I PAID YOU TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE. I get termites/bugs can come back after awhile but only after 3 months and they're in the same spot!?!? I came to the conclusion they tented the house but didn't fumigate correctly or not at all. Wish I went with the company I got my first quote from. Armandos are cheaper and I guess you get what you pay for. Last time I go with the neighbor's guy for anything again haha lessened learned. read more

I had previously loved this company for their work on my house a few months ago... but they've been a no show 3x in a row for my bi-monthly pest spray. 1st was a company snafu they admitted to. Texts to confirm the 2nd and they didn't have a good explanation. Texts and a call a that confirmed the 3rd. I called again after the 3rd no show - and they didn't even bother calling back. Part of me wonders if there is something personal going on with them...and if there is, I'm sad for it... but either way I missed 3 mornings of work so I'm looking for a new company. For rats anyway, do NOT recommend. They were young and inexperienced. Filled some holes, left other unfilled. I ended up having to go down into the basement, crawl around and fill them myself. After their first visit, I saw a rat in the house and saw where it went down to basement. When they returned I showed them the hole and asked them to really do a better double check and fill the holes. He went down (he hadn't brought a flashlight! no coveralls, clearly didn't really want to do any work) and came back saying he couldn't see any holes. I went down myself and found them easily. I called him about it and he said some holes they can't do because of pipes. But his first guy sprayed expanding foam all over tons of pipes. They only left 2 traps in basement. And one of them hadn't been set. The other one had no bait and was not set. So rat got bait and trap didn't work or they didn't set it. They are inconsistent, unreliable, do a half way job, seem inexperienced. I'm so frustrated that I have to start allover and that I have to do a bunch of the dirty work myself. They did say they would refund me the first portion I paid. But I'm still left with all these rats and work to do. Argh. A big NO on Armando's. read more

He arrived one hour later and completely took care of the problem, climbing on the roof to put mesh wire over the vent where the bees had entered the apartment.
