The portions were generous and more importantly, they were carefully prepared, beautifully presented, timely served, and simply delicious! Their lavender latte was nice and subtle. I like it! An eatery that is exactly what they say it is. I could definitely eat here every day. The Nutella French Toast is fluffy and sweet, and all the bowls look great. Tried the Green Brekkie Bowl which is filling but light. A gooey egg gets you some protein, and this may be the first time I willingly ate quinoa outside of Peru. It's good here. A friend of mine suggested this place over our usual brunch spot and I'm SO glad he did! We stopped by on weekday morning and avoided the crowds to enjoy their tasty dishes and drinks in a very casual hip environment. I ordered their green brekkie bowl as well as their ricotta pancakes (because ricotta pancakes sounded too good to skip!). I was very pleased with how fresh and flavorful everything was. The best pancakes I've tried EVER. So good. They were fluffy with the right crisp. The lemon wasn't overpowering and fruit was fresh! I need to come back here to try other stuff because everything looked so good when I saw them on other peoples plates. Only tip is get here 30 min before you're actually hungry lol. The hot cakes were yummy and came with a nice honeycomb butter. It is, however, a little sweeter than I would have preferred. The morning market scramble is my go-to when coming here. You order at the counter and find a table inside or outside the restaurant. It's first come first serve and plenty of seating. I ordered the pancakes and my friend ordered the French toast. A really cute place for brunch! The interior gives me a cozy, yet fresh take on the mom-and-pop stores. There's indoor seating and the outside seating options are like any plaza in Irvine. Tables are abundant, but during lunch hour, it might be hard to find a seat as all the other food places have customers too. It was tough finding an open parking spot during Friday lunchtime. We perused the menu by the door before getting in line to order. They offer pretty much every milk (almond, oat, whole, 2%, etc) for their coffees and teas. There are seasonal specials on a sign by the cashier. We got the Lemon Ricotta Hotcakes, the Vegan Scramble Bowl, iced Matcha Latte and the iced Lavender Latte with oat milk. The Lemon Ricotta Hotcakes are a favorite for a reason! At the cashier, there's a sign that says to allow ~15 minutes for them to cook, but the food came out the same time as everything else, so don't let that deter you from ordering them! The pancakes were light and very tasty. The portions were big (3 pancakes fills you up!) and were perfectly cooked and fluffy. It's served with strawberries, blueberries, bananas and this delicious whipped, browned butter or something. Not exactly sure what it was, but it was so amazing with the pancakes. The Vegan Scramble Bowl was okay. It could use more flavor since the pesto is light and then it's straight up vegetables. The vegetables were cooked well though. The brussel sprouts were yummy. I ordered an iced Matcha Latte, which I regret. A definite pass. The matcha flavor did not come through and it was a very watery taste. If you really feel strongly about matcha, maybe go for a hot matcha latte instead. On the other hand, the iced Lavender Latte is delish! It has real lavender buds in it that is amazing with the coffee. TL;DR: Cute brunch spot, lots of seating, and healthy options. Skip the matcha and the vegan scramble bowl. I had their Ricotta Hotcakes ($13) which is an artistic tasty creation that comes topped with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, honey butter and organic maple syrup. The ricotta hotcakes themselves were fluffy and light. All three were consistent in shape and taste. There was lemon zest that complimented the creaminess of the ricotta hotcakes and the lemon flavor went well with the fruit toppings. The toppings were also of the freshest quality. I appreciated the honey butter since it did not melt into the hotcakes, it was more like a nice spread. I minimally dipped everything in the maple syrup because it tasted good as-is. For my beverage, I had their Golden Rose Latte ($5) which tasted incredible. It had turmeric, which I found fascinating, but the taste was spectacular. We ended up waking up late and were craving for some brunch. We called several places and were happy to hethis place did not have a wait for tables. It is a really cute place adorned with tropical indoor plants that is part of the Sand Canyon strip of restaurants, offering outdoor seating and limiting the indoor capacity to five customers at a time. I appreciate the variety the menu offers, but I am a big French Toast lover so we ordered the Forever French Toast and Nutella French Toast. Both dishes were beautifully presented like they came straight out of an ad and into my plate. We also added a side of two eggs, which is slightly expensive ($2 per egg) and unfortunately the eggs were undercooked. As for the two French toasts, I would have to say the French toast forever was the winner of the two but they were both very good! They're currently open for takeout and outdoor dining during covid. There's plenty of seating with shading. The menus are available at the entrance and then you pay at the counter. You're handed a number for your table and it took about 15-20 minutes for our food to come out on a Saturday around 10am. Credit cards are accepted. The food is tasty and the drinks were good. I got the sweetheart matcha latte with oat milk ($1 extra). They used rose syrup which added a bright taste to the otherwise earthy drink. The cashier recommended the bacon breakfast burrito, which was tasty. There was a small container of salsa (not spicy). The burrito was compact but solid. There was a lot of bacon and the eggs were cooked the right amount. The green brekkie bowl is also a popular option. Whenever I come here the place is busy and there's a line out the door . The service here is good , the servers are nice and try to help you decide what to get if it's your first time. I've been here a few times and I feel like the overall quality of food is decent. Sometimes it's a hit , sometimes I notice if it's very packed then it's a miss. The inside is relatively spacious , it can get loud if there are a lot of people in line and seated. I personally like their breakfast burrito, I substitute the sausage for turkey sausage and ask for my salsa on the side. I've also had their French toast, which I do like a lot . The fried egg sandwich was probably my least favorite item on their menu that I've had. It lacked flavor, the Spinach wasn't cooked and the egg was cold and flavorless. This place is da bomb dot com. It is unassuming when you walk up. Just a store front in a strip mall. It is way more than that though. When you walk in, there is a walk up counter with menus as soon as you walk in. There is an assortment of gourmet foods and drinks to choose from. I ordered the Morning Market Scramble which was a thrill ride rollercoaster on my tastebuds. Three egg scramble with avocado, roasted zucchini, spinach, kale, & tomatoes. There were so many flavors and they were perfectly mixed together. There is no way Rocky Balboa would drink his raw egg nonsense if he knew of this superfood perfection. Ok maybe it's not a superfood but it really should be! There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outdoors and despite the rain we had a great experience because there are umbrellas over almost all of the seating. Maybe it is all. The umbrella over our table was as big as the good year blimp. It could've covered a banquet table.
