Served with banana and strawberries and maple syrup, it was sublime. However, one needs a side of bacon to make it a meal. Adding $4 of bacon to $13 of pancakes make an expensive brunch. It also places it outside the competition. Stacked and Snooze offer more for less. Overall a great place for bunch if money is not an expensive object. Love having a good breakfast/brunch place nearby. I've been on the hunt for places like Everyday and I'm happy to have stumbled upon it thanks to Yelp! The hubby and I have frequented Everyday Eatery numerous times now and for the most part we have left with our bellies full, photo happy, and our caffeine fix satiated. The cute cafe is owned by a New Zealand couple, so for you flat white enthusiasts, they serve it here using Stumptown coffee. They also serve baked goods from a Los Angeles bakery (if you're familiar with Superba treats, then these pastries will look familiar). Everyday Eatery is located in a strip mall plaza that can get kind of full during the peak times, but we usually find parking. Ha even if you have to park far, that's fine! Gotta work off those deelish ricotta pancakes=P. I'd have to say our faves are the ricotta pancakes and the breakfast burrito (add the avocado!). I want to add in the fried egg sandwich as well, but it's been 50/50 each time we've ordered it, which is part of the reason I can't give out the infamous 5-star rating. I'm not sure if it's just off days or new staff but the last time we ordered the sandwich it came out meh compared to our previous visits. I really enjoy a sandwich that comes out hot & fresh. But for some reason this last visit, the quality wasn't as previous. The brioche didn't seem fresh and just got served cold. As it does take some time for our food to arrive, I didn't feel like asking for another one because we were in a rush and I was super hungry. My other reasoning for 4-star is the pastries. Lately they just don't seem as fresh. If any, maybe an offer to warm it up would help. But I love my flaky croissants and Everyday has fell short on this the last few visits. Visited for takeout and my food was ready when I arrived, and still hot-perfect! I just ate it in my car, but there is some outdoor seating. Love that their menu is labeled with gluten-free options which makes it easier for me to choose a dish. You HAVE to get the macro bowl! It's so warm, filling, and healthy! All my favorite things that I would not have time to prepare myself are in this bowl-roasted veggies, pickled/fermented veggies, quinoa, lentils, radishes. And it's all served with a green tahini sauce. TBH I didn't even need the sauce because the bowl was so flavorful on it's own. Also, do not underestimate wilted kale-it's full of nutrients and when prepared right, it tastes great! The prices are pretty decent here and the interior is so cute! Can't wait to dine inside restaurants again. They also serve breakfast and a wide variety of drinks (smoothies, lattes, juices, tea). My only disappointment was that they didn't have the gluten-free raspberry lemon tea cake that is on the menu, but it's probably because they're only operating for takeout right now. read more

This place opened about 8 weeks ago & there is a reason the line was out the door when we left! So good! I got the fried egg breakfast sandwich on brioche (everything on it) & my friend got the breakfast burrito. Everything was delicious! The only comment my friend made was that the breakfast burrito had quite a bit of cheese in it. It was good, just be aware if you can't have a lot of cheese. :) I also got the Golden Rose Latte, which is a latte with Rose & tumeric & I got it with oat milk. You could not taste the tumeric & it was perfectly sweet. They also have almond milk available. We didn't get any, but there was a case with delicious looking pastries that would pair nicely with any of their coffees. Just an FYI, there isn't a ton of seating inside so I would go in between the breakfast & lunch rush if you want to sit inside. There is plenty of seating outside though! A must try! read more

So I went on a hike in Irvine and was starving by the time I was done. I looked around the area and saw this place pop up with the high ratings and checked out their menu. After calling to make sure they were open for dine in, I headed over from turtle rock and pulled in. THEY DO REQUIRE MASKS WHILE ORDERING. So please, show up with a mask. You won't be allowed in without one. The ordering style is counter service, so you walk up and order, get a number, and find a seat inside or out. There wasn't a line and the service was fairly quick. They have a good amount of gluten free options and out of the handful they had (for breakfast options), I got the green brekkie bowl and it was great. I would have added an egg if I actually thought about it - so my tip is if you get this item, add another egg. The rose latte is made with their own homemade syrup and I highly recommend. Was amazing. The bacon breakfast burrito is super filling and quite heavy. It was good but there was a little too much sauce. The salsa combo-ed with it really hit the spot. The decor is homey -- natural wood, blush tones, houseplants. There's lot of natural light from the glass walls. I tried the golden rose latte sub oat milk ($1) and it was so comforting. I was concerned the rose syrup would be too sweet but no substitutions were needed. The Green Brekkie Bowl was a great start to the day. Came here for breakfast a few weeks ago. Solid breakfast place, a bit expensive but that's pretty normal for a place in Irvine. We got the breakfast burrito and the ricotta hotcakes. The breakfast burrito was good, very clean, not greasy and a bit small, unlike the breakfast burritos you might get at George's in Fullerton. If you're craving a breakfast burrito I wouldn't say I would come to this place just to get that here. The ricotta hotcakes were definitely something else. The honeycomb butter in combination with the hotcakes gave it a very nice and unique flavor, something I haven't really had the equivalent of at other breakfast places. This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in all of Orange County. It's a bit pricey but so worth it. My usual drink order is their iced vanilla latte with oat milk which is so great because it's made with quality ingredients. They use Stumptown coffee which is my all time favorite coffee brand! It's rich and smooth without being overpowering. Additionally, their oat milk of choice is from Califia farms which is notably a brand that strays from using unhealthy gums in their products. For food I almost always get their bacon breakfast burrito with extra chipotle aioli on the side. The chipotle aioli that comes inside is so creamy with a little Chile kick, I always have to get extra. Although this dish is a bit on the expensive side at $10.50, you really get a huge portion. Also, they wrap so much flavor into the burrito and you can taste the quality of each ingredient. They even use Yukon gold potatoes rather than typical russets. My only critic is that it doesn't originally come with avocado so you'll have to ask for it for an additional charge. However, this is most likely a personal issue due to my strong opinions on the necessity of avocados in breakfast burritos. Overall, I love this place because of their attention to detail and integrity of the dishes they create. Please give this cafe a try, you'll be happy you did! read more

I finally got to try this place out a few weeks ago! It was busy as expected for a weekend but the line moved quickly. I ordered the breakfast burrito and asked for no bacon. The cashier asked if I'd like to sub avocado instead and it warmed my little vegetarian heart. It was so nice that they offered, as some places aren't too keen on swapping items, even if you ask. We found a nice spot outside and placed our table number. Before we knew it my latte came out and the food shortly after. Everything looked and tasted great! Pesto in the Green Brekkie bowl tasted fresh and was a great compliment to the dish. The burrito was huge and I could only eat half. I was very impressed to see the team make their rounds in the outside courtyard so often. We were checked on, dishes cleared, and it felt more like table service than quick service. The people are friendly. The owner warned me that my drink was polarizing, "you'll either love it or hate it." I ordered it hot with oat milk. I thought it was delicious because the oat milk balanced it out. The hotcakes were overcooked enough to be dry, but with extra maple syrup, my husband ate every bite. Saw this place all over my Instagram after it first opened and I just HAD to try it. I am a huge fan of brunch so I had high expectations...and they were absolutely met. My friend ordered the breakfast burrito while I ordered the spinach and feta omelette. Both were so yummy! The portion sizes are big and for such a decent price. The staff is also so friendly and spent time walking around to check up on customers. The location is kind of random in my opinion, but I'm glad to see they're still able to bring in a crowd.
