A delicious bagel that should've been cut
    Alexxa S.

I came to get a bagel for a friend and I to share. I requested it be cut in half. It was not. Small, I know but I'd rather not eat then have someone's hands all over my food to cut the bagel in half after I've left thinking I had a cut one already. Just annoying. Hoping this review can serve as a reminder to cut the sandwhich when requested! It's not for funsies I swear

Feeling like Cheers, where everyone knows your name!

I have been coming here since I moved to Fairfield, about 3 years now. At first, they were pretty slow. Things have improved so much and the employees hustle to get food out. Food is always correct and delish. I'm a regular on Saturdays, to a point they know my name now. Be kind to workers, dealing with the public ain't easy!

I stopped in to take advantage of a bday offer from their rewards program. When I arrived I was the only person there, with 2 employees. I was not greeted as they were talking and it took them a bit to acknowledge me. When they did it seemed as if I was a bother to them. They took my order and was surprised it took a bit just to make a bagel with cream cheese. The food was ok. This location has a spacious dining room, although at the time of my visit it was closed. They also have a small outside patio, as well as a drive thru. I love this brand, but this location lacks on customer service.

Are they open for walk in? They seem to awesome that they were with this sign in the entrance!

I went on a Saturday morning. The drive through was long But a few customers in the restaurant I almost did not go in because of this sign as I entered So I asked what appeared to be the person in charge can I order from the App. Instead of saying, we can take your order now .. she said yes Then people came in and ordered, I asked about my order and they said the set time because I ordered on the app I said, the sign says drive through for app because of short staffing The the workers said,, that sign is not in front of the store! I said the sign is in the entrance of the restaurant! The number of peple that same after me looked and the sign and walked away, got intheir care or went to the register and said ... can I order here! Ridiculous workers ... move the sign or turn it around The sign read: Due to lack of staffing We are drive through only

The bagel with a chunk of unspread butter

Bagels good but someone tell me why i waited ALMOST AN HOUR for a single bagel??? Like i ordered a bagel with cream cheese and it took a good 45 minutes to get it. I would understand if they were making these bagel from scratch after I ordered it but all they had to do was take it out of the display rack, heat it up, and put a reasonable amount of cream cheese on. One of my friends got a huge amount of cream cheese that was squirting out the sides and the other got barely any and then the other friend got a single chunk of BUTTER in the middle. Like they just didn't spread it out?? And then my friends mom ordered a bagel sandwich with an egg and they just didn't out an egg on it. Like what how do you forget that??

"Can I take your order". No "good morning" or even "hello". But waS a decent tone. Not a fan of people talking to it they co workers (like background noise) when they should hit a mute button first but oKay. She found two of the last packets oF Splenda that they had. Not a good mental picture of adequate mgmt ordering food supplies but another okay. My check in photo of the Lox said no caper disappointing but their were three rolling around in the tray. Forgot to show how they stick better in the cream cheese. Lox was not out on evenly and way too much. Red onion was big coils mostly off the sandwich. Toasted Sesame bagel was very good for its size and density but agin was overpowered by too much Lox, onion and not enough capers. Better than McDonalds. Young, new girl handed food was timid but nice and thanked me for coming. Better but would have liked that with have a great day. And a smile. No one lives up to the Chik Fil A service standard. People crave it and will come back for it. Hint hint hint.

Even though this was delayed due to weather (the original date was earlier in February), the staff at ToB was super communicative and let me know that my reservation would carry over to the next date. The food was amazing - Belgian meatballs, mussels provencale and bolo - I mean....wow. I don't even like mussels and I couldn't get enough of these. Each of the foods were so perfectly crafted for the feast and had such an amazing story behind why it was a featured dish. Then came the chicken and waffles...flight. I mean - how much more perfect can you get? Iconic ToB waffles and chicken? Chef's kiss! To make the night even more incredible, we got to meet with Jean-François who told us stories and gave us pairing recommendations that were top notch. The communal feast was an amazing way to spend the evening at a restaurant that truly is one of the best places in Cincinnati.

For starters I ordered the waffle latte!!! Very maple tasting with a cute little Belgium waffle as garnish- so cute!! For breakfast/brunch I ordered (& shared) the Breakfast Plate- perfect for two if you aren't too hungry - eggs w/ cheese - sourdough toast - crispy potatoes - bacon - and of course a side of goetta (we are in Cincy after all) Everything was delicious and sometimes a classic breakfast is what you need!!!!!! My friends got the McWaffle & Southwest waffle - both had no complaints except a McWaffle might get ya a little dirty since the sandwich is so stuffed.... But no worries you do get a fork to eat up the fallen food I will always recommend this cincy favorite for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!!!!!! Can't wait to be back!!!

Both were friendly & acknowledged the birthday girl in our party. Atmosphere is great. You could comfortably walk in wearing jeans or come dressed up. Neither would be over or under dressed. The menu has juuuust the right amount of options, which is great! Heather was our waitress & while she was kind, her service skills were lacking. Granted we weren't at a Michelin Star Restaurant, but we also weren't at a dive bar. There was an endless amount of awkward reaching through, over & around when refilling drinks. There were a couple of instances where she actually touched our shoulders to nudge us to the side so she could reach through. Totally not okay during service at a restaurant nicer than a dive bar. We ordered the cheese sticks starter which were so yummy! Highly recommend! A couple of us ordered the Cesar side salad & were highly disappointed. The dressing tasted like it was mayonnaise heavy & then watered down by lettuce that wasn't dried after being rinsed. Even adding tons of extra pepper didn't help. The lettuce also tasted like it has been too wet for too long. The lobster mac was ordered in the group & it was tasty but soooo greasy. So, order with caution. We had the Black N Bleu salad in the group & that was good. The Atlantic Salmon was another dinner ordered & the crust seasoning was delicious! Sadly, the salmon was a bit overdone. It does come with a lobster cream sauce, which confused me. It was only so so & I definitely skipped it entirely. The steamed broccoli was done to perfection though. Not soggy & not too crunchy. We also had the 12oz ribeye & that was great! Flavorful, cooked perfectly! I will add though, that the steak knives need an upgrade. I really wanted to love this place, but we won't return on our next trip to Newport/Cincinnati.

Going back and forth on stars for this one. Me and around 30 of my coworkers came into town for a…read moretwo day workshop and they got us a room block at this hotel. I ended up being in the North Building and cracked up when I walked into my room and saw I was in one of the Lightwell Lofts (a few of us ended up in them by chance, guess they included them in our room block lol). While the room was super cool and beautiful, there was a lot to be desired. After taking a million photos of the gorgeous room, I quickly realized a major flaw - the bedroom is upstairs, the bathroom is downstairs, and the staircase between the two is a crazy narrow spiral staircase. As someone that gets up to pee in the middle of the night, having to traverse the spiral stairs was terrifying lol. One of my coworkers actually swapped with someone who had a "normal" room because he was worried about falling down the stairs. My downstairs tv wouldn't turn on. I fiddled with the remote a bit, tried rearranging the batteries, but couldn't turn it on. I used the ipad in the room to put in a maintenance request, but no one came. I figured I would just let the front desk know when I headed out to dinner that night. Hours later, the front desk calls me to see if anyone had come to fix the tv - they hadn't. The girl was very nice and apologetic, she said I sent the request in the middle of a shift change and someone had accidentally marked it as complete. So she said someone would be right up, and he did come up. Handed me a handwritten note and a $25 coupon for Coppin's which was totally unexpected and a very nice gesture. Turned out, he knew exactly what the problem was - he said the remote was broken and he was supposed to swap it out but forgot. Gave me a new remote and all was good. He also mentioned there is a second remote upstairs for that tv. After he left, I went to look for it - there was no second remote. We held our meetings in the Scheper Room, which was also beautiful. The room was absolutely freezing the first day and I'm someone that prefers it a touch colder and was uncomfortable. We had to get them to update the thermostat and then in the afternoon it was way too hot. We had food brought in from the hotel and it was all fine, nothing super memorable. There was soup at lunch but the sign didn't even say what it was - just "chef's choice." The Italian hoagies were way too big and needed to be cut in half, I couldn't even finish half of one. The salad with fruit/pecans/etc was my favorite though. They had the completely wrong password on the tables for the Wifi but thankfully we figured it out quickly that we just had to use the room password. The second day for breakfast, there was yogurt on the menu and even on the sign with all the food - but there was no yogurt. Some of my coworkers were specifically asking for yogurt so we had to request it directly because it was included and paid for. Box lunches to take to go on the second day which were fine, I had the chicken caesar salad wrap. Housekeeping didn't come to service my room until 5pm when I was in there getting ready for dinner, so I was not able to get the room serviced. Just asked them for some more coffee. My conditioner in the shower was empty but I didn't bother reporting it after the tv issue and I had my own conditioner with me, so used that. The lotion at the sink was so thick that I could not get it out of the bottle at all, I had to use q-tips to get it out (it was nice quality, just kinda useless if you can't get it out of the bottle lol). Great local offerings on the mini bar and in the fridge. My coworkers and I got a kick out of the "intimacy kits" because we were on a business trip haha. The Magic 8 ball was fun, I loved the conversation cards even though I just read a few of them to myself haha. Even with the bedroom upstairs, it was nice to have the big double closet in the bathroom hallway so I really was just in the loft to sleep and kept all my stuff downstairs. The location is great, lots of fun stuff right nearby. The courtyard is lovely. I would say this is a solid 3.5 stars but since we can't give half stars, I'll give it a 4 because the staff was overall very nice and quickly fixed any issues, just a little annoying that we had any issues at all.

Normally, I find hotel food is just okay and nothing special, but Coppin's was a pleasant surprise. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess, and our equally pleasant server quickly brought menus and asked what we would like to drink. When it was my turn, I happily ordered Coppin's Old Fashioned. I was the odd man out because everyone else ordered the Spring Manhattan. Judging by how quickly everyone's drinks disappeared, I'd say they were all very tasty. I was a little unsure about mine at first, so to make sure the quality and taste were consistent, I ordered a second, and it definitely was not a mistake. I ordered the B+G biscuits (which are made by hand according to server in the hotel) and gravy with an extra egg. Others at the table chose a variety of dishes, including the CVG, Cobb Salad, Bagel and Lox, and several other selections. Based on the clean plates all around the table, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My wife ordered a sample of banana bread, and I was fortunate enough to snag a small bite, it was excellent. After we had all finished, everyone agreed that my niece had made an excellent choice for her graduation celebration brunch. As my wife and I made our way back to Louisville, we both commented that we would definitely return the next time we were in Covington.
