Pastries galore, fresh baked cakes, pies, etc., then you have shelves filled with chocolates, candies and sauces, jellies, etc. My husband and I are so glad to share this fabulous find! The staff is wonderful and sometimes we see the manager out sitting and chatting with guests. Go enjoy some German food! Now, the only thing is, they are only open a few days a week. I believe, Wednesday thru Saturday only! You can also place a pick up order on those days if you don't have time to sit and relax to have a bite to eat.

Recently moved from So California to Lampasas Texas. California has lots of high end, low end Mom and Pop, fast food or anything and everything in between. But I must say my son and I went there for lunch today. Absolutely thrilled with the food, and the service was amazing. The young gentleman that served us had only work there since January. Very knowledgeable very kind and considerate. Also the other servers would check on our table just to provide us with excellent service. This is one of the only two decent restaurants in Lampasas. I didn't even know I liked German food, but it's great. Their schnitzels are excellent, the french fries are awesome and the chocolate pie is heavenly. Oh, and the secret recipe salad dressing is amazing. I just wish they were open on Sunday!!! read more
