One of favorite breakfast places in town, it has a good selection of food. The taste and presentation of the food is always great. They may get busy quick during weekends, so plan your visits early.

Had to fast for labs and this place was close to the lab! Cute lil cafe, some delicious food and attentive service! Be forewarned they cook to order everything, so not a 5 min wait, but was well worth it. I had a custom omelet, DH had the Eve's burger (HUGE) and a bowl of oxtail soup, which he thoroughly enjoyed! We will go back!

I Happen to be in Carson and decided to try out Eves Eatery, So happy I did! My husband got the Zeke omelet and he loved it. No shortage of meat or Serrano peppers. Beautiful presentation to boot! I got the NY steak and eggs, the steak was melt in your mouth and seasoned perfectly. If we lived in the area we would absolutely frequent this place more often. But still, it will definitely be on our radar for places to stop in when we happen to be nearby. Great food, good service, clean, what more could one ask for?

I love coming here to eat with my parents. They live in Carson and this is sucha cute new addition to the downtown area. The prices are great and you get a huge amount of food! They did not skimp on the smoked salmon with my toast. I devoured it within 10 minutes. I tried their kiwi strawberry mimosa. It inspired me to make this at home! So perfect for spring. Just a heads up, it can get extremely busy so I suggest reservations or just be ready to wait a little bit

Recommended by a local. Wsit was very long, but they have a warning on the menu. Got a leaning toer of red velvet with chicken waffles, the chicken was moist and seasoned with walnuts.

Tried eves for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. Upon entering, we got a great first impression from the get go. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. We were instantly sat and all of the staff we interacted with was very nice and attentive. I ordered the cheesecake stuffed French toast and it was sooo good. Maybe the best French toast I've had. Was not overly sweet and tasted very fresh My husband got the omg chicken sandwich with soup and he enjoyed it as well. It was very juicy. We were happy to hear everything on the menu is made in house, I feel that is rare these days! We also loved how you can purchase pasta kits to go. We will definitely be doing that for a date night. Overall the price seemed on point with the quality and portion of food and we enjoyed our experience.

Avocado toast, bacon, eggs over easy. And coffee of course!

Had the Everyday Breakfast (Avocado toast, eggs over easy, bacon)... outstanding! My server was super sweet and attentive; checking up on how the food was and refilling my coffee cup. I also liked the warmth of the cafe, including the servers and chefs, and the local patrons. I'm definitely returning!

Was able to visit Carson City, Nevada and was recommended to try Eve's Eatery. Located on the main road in Carson, Eve's Eatery was a delicious brunch experience. We visited on. Saturday morning and was able to get seating. Eve's menu offer plenty of options for any pallet and prices are very reasonable. Eve's also uses the freshest ingredients and hearty portions. Several mimosa options for those looking for a refreshing libation. Service was great and allowed us privacy to enjoy great conversation. They are pretty popular so be prepared to wait a few minutes for a table. Seatings is limited for outside dining, but inside or out, a great meal will be exactly what you're looking for. Eve's Eatry was a great experience and highly recommend. Happy to return and try something else on their menu.

Awesome food love that everything is made from scratch... We had the chicken and red velvet waffles and fresh brewed iced tea. It was delicious. The only thing that I would say I would want differently is maple syrup.

I was visiting family from out of town and this restaurant was recommended. Restaurant: Cozy atmosphere. Very nice staff; very attentive. Food: Amazing! Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal - Shrimp Scampi, Red Chilaquiles, Spinach Fettuccine and The Knockout. ... In conclusion, if I were to live in town, this place would definitely be my favorite restaurant!

Wait for food is ridiculously long. We got simple food and waited an hour for it. Didn't even get acknowledged for 15 min.

They also have an incredible beer selection with well over 100 beers on the menu, so there's something for everyone. A word of advice make reservations if you can. The wait was nearly an hour and it's easy to see why. We started with the fry bread and the jalapeño bombs. The fry bread was delicious, but those jalapeño bombs were an absolute 10/10 and a must-order. We originally came for the prime rib, but unfortunately they had already sold out around 6 p.m., which was definitely disappointing. Thankfully, the food that did make it to our table erased that disappointment pretty quickly. We ordered the two-meat BBQ plate with ribs and brisket, and both were cooked to perfection. The meat was tender, smoky, and paired perfectly with their delicious BBQ sauce. We also tried the spicy pot pie, which was unlike any pot pie I've had before, in a good way. It reminded me of an enchilada baked inside a buttery, flaky crust, and it was fantastic. The service was equally impressive. I feel terrible that I can't remember our server's name because he absolutely deserves the recognition. He was friendly, attentive, and made our entire experience even better. Between the amazing food, outstanding service, and unique atmosphere, this ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. In fact, it's probably the biggest reason I'd make the drive back to Carson City.

Food Unfortunately,…read morethe food was very disappointing. The ribs tasted stale and almost jerky-like, as if they had been sitting out too long or reheated multiple times. The basket of wings was cold in the middle and tasted as though they had simply been microwaved. They also tasted old and lacked freshness. The Jump Up and Kiss Me Chicken was overcooked and extremely dry. The flavor was just okay, but there was nothing particularly special about the dish. Service The service was very poor. Our waitress repeatedly rolled her eyes and barely checked on us to see if everything was okay. I had to repeatedly get up myself to ask for condiments, refreshments, and napkins. Management I was also disappointed with how the manager handled my concerns. After I explained our experience, her response was essentially, "Okay, I'll pass along your comments." She did not seem concerned or interested in making the situation better. Unfortunately, I understood why the service was so poor after speaking with the manager. A manager should set the standard for customer service, and in this case, I did not feel that there was much care or concern for the customers. I used to love going to Reds when they had the previous manager. He was always kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about the customers. The food was also delicious and tasted fresh. It's disappointing to see how much the experience has changed. I really hope management takes this feedback seriously because Reds used to be a place I genuinely enjoyed visiting.

Our server, sorry forgot your name, was helpful and able to answer our questions, we decided on a few items and our party of six shared them. We ordered two pizzas (pepperoni and a capitol combo), we got the pretzel, caesar salad, BBQ brewmaster plate and a few beers. First off the pizzas are delicious and easy choice for anyone who comes here, it will not miss. The bbq platter was also very good, the portions are not huge but each sausage was tasty. The pig wings were tender and flavorful with the hot honey sauce. The pretzel was also great and paired with the stone ground mustard from the bbq plate was excellent. The only item that I think I would change would be the Memphis wings, they were on the salty side for all of us, the flavor is there but a lil too salty, I think the hot honey sauce would have been a hit on those wings. We tried a few beers the lager, Juicy IPA and an amber ale. I skipped the lager, my dad enjoyed his brew. As for the other two, I found them to be refreshing with a nice balance of hops for each of them and a great companion to the dishes we ordered. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stop by.

On this occasion, we were celebrating the birthday of a close friend. Our party of 10 had plenty of room in one of the back rooms with gorgeous views out the windows. We started the evening with a healthy round of appetizers, including Calamari, Roast Duck and a plate of Mussels. While I didn't partake in the Mussels, I will say the Calamari was good but the Roast Duck was truly amazing. Such great flavor, cooked to a tender doneness and topped with a sweet sauce. The bread roll that preceded the appetizers was something special. Warm and wrapped in paper, it was like opening a Christmas present. The bread was soft, warm and delicious. Seriously good. I ordered a Prime Rib, one of the evenings specials. It was a generous portion, served with potatoes and veggies. The Prime Rib was cooked perfectly (Medium Rare ofcourse) with the right amount of marbleing and seasoning. This was perhaps one of the best, most flavorful Prime Ribs I have had in recent memory. My wife ordered the Macadamia Crusted Sea Bass. The fish was breaded and topped with the delicious Macadamia nuts. The fish was light and flaky with a wonderful outer snap. A perfect blend of textures and flavors. I would definitely order this again. My friends mother ordered the Lobster and Filet, Glen Eagle's version of Surf and Turf. I don't know if she realized just how big a 1 1/2 pound (24oz) Lobster really was. This thing was HUGE. Like some giant sea creature. The Filet while a generouse portion, looked puny by comparison. She said the Lobster was a amazing but in full transparency, most of it when home. :-) We had a big party and the restaurant was quite full by the time we left. This did not deter our server nor the bus staff. The staff was attentive, ensuring our waters and drinks were always full. With the orders of appetizers, it felt like there was a steady stream of food. Never felt like we ever waited. I know understand why Glen Eagle's is a favorite amoungst the locals, atleast those in the know. If you get a chance to visit Carson City, be sure to make time to dine at Glen Eagle's.

Indeed, it was the best Prime Rib I have had in a very long time. Our waiter and the Maitre de were outstanding. They made us all feel so welcome and almost like we were family. We all are still raving about the Prime Rib. There is something so wonderful about a place treating you like family. The human connection is something we all want. It is so awesome to feel appreciated and connected to our world and others. The staff here were outstanding. Everyone commented on the service we received. The appetizers and salads were tasty. The family members who had the salmon said it was excellent. Everyone was pleased with their meal. Portions are generous. All of us remarked on how good the food was. Not to mention, the price was right. The ambiance might be a little lacking. There are no tablecloths. However, keep in mind that tablecloths come with a cost of their own. They need to be laundered and then some need to be replaced. So there would be an added cost. So the question is would you prefer a little more ambiance or a cheaper price for an excellent meal? However, if you are looking for excellent service with delicious food at a reasonable price then this is the place for you. Not to mention, that the drive to Carson is beautiful. Plus there are plenty of things to do in Carson to enjoy. Perhaps it is time to beckon back to a slower pace of life. Take a nostalgic trip to Carson to see the Capitol all decorated for Christmas. Stop in at the Nugget and enjoy a dinner at the steakhouse. We were told that the chef was on vacation. Should have just left then. Then after being seated and given menus, they came and took them back and gave us this paper revised menu since the head chef was out. Our actual waitress was Chelsea and she was fantastic. If not for her, I would give 0 stars if possible. The restaurant itself we really did not get to see much as we were tucked away in the 1st dining area by the entrance. No worries. It was nice and quaint inside and that's about where it stopped!! I asked about bread, and a different lady brought us 2 rolls that were barely room temp. Basically went from bag to bowl. We ordered our prime rib medium. As anything over that gets tough. We also ordered it with broccoli and when it arrived it had inedible asparagus. I mean they were so fibrous we could barely cut through them. Chelsea apologized and brough us out some broccoli on the side, and just like the rolls, it was barely room temp. Not her fault by no means. Now onto the very overly cooked prime rib. There was 0 pink in it. It was well done and very tough. It was also barely 1/4 inch thick. I mean the thinnest prime rib I have ever seen for supposedly being a 9oz. I have had 8oz at other restaurants twice the size of what we were served.. I managed to cut a couple pieces for my husband to eat. I dd not eat any of it. Basically we sent the majority of it back when we left. The only plus thing about this visit was the mashed potatoes and gravy. Still luke warm at best. I ate about 3 bites of food and was done with it. It was the worst prime rib I have ever seen/tasted in my life. Now Chelsea went and got our receipt for us, which of course was no charge, but if it was, I would have never paid 22.99 for what we received. It was that bad. Chelsea apologized several times and like we told her, you do not control what comes out on these plates. So yes she did get a nice cash tip for being such a sweet waitress and trying to do what she could. As far as the restaurant, we will not be going back for anything there. It is also only open Friday and Saturday from 4-close. I came home and made a sandwich for my now late dinner!
