The USC meme page has a wonderful collection of bugs found in the food here. This dining hall is the freshman classic, but I'm not sure why. It's oily, greasy, salty, and unhealthy, but when you have no other options and you're on a freshman dining plan.... there's always evk.

Not one of the better options at USC during the early 2010's, but did the job. Cafe 84 at KOH was superior (RIP).

Evil Kitchen. Irredeemable except for all-you-can-eat Sunday Brunch. But even that's overpriced (like everything else at SC).

They fry everything here! AND you can stack your DIY waffles sky high with butter, syrup, whipped cream, strawberries, you get the picture.

It wasn't jam packed, but there were definitely folks in and out during the time we were there. First, I hear the sentiments of a few reviewers regarding tables being close. My love and I speak freely, laugh a lot and have full conversations while dining out, so if anything, there was a point where I hoped we weren't being disturbing to others by simply conversing consistently during our meal, but it seemed fine. With that said, they can definitely create a bit more space between some of the tables. Now the space itself, beautiful. It was Christmas so the decor was festive and a nice touch. We got chicken and waffles and pancakes and sausage, a matcha latte, wellness shot, and black coffee. Service was ok. Our waiter was very kind, all staff were. We did wait a little while for coffee refills. Overall, decent experience.

My partner's chilaquiles was not awesome for her, just ok. Our server was having a bad day for sure. I sympathize with that. Ambiance Sunday 11 am was quiet enough and nice. The entrance area smells super hard of that weird scent that hotels think they need to spray their guests with.

We couldn't be seated right away given that we were late, and the wait ended being an extra 15 minutes longer for our party of 7. They really made it work for us, so we were very appreciative. Parking: Our group split up between $8 and $10 nearby lots for the whole day. All within a 5 minute walk away. Location: Right across the street from the Original LA Flower Market warehouse. Fun activity to do after eating. Also had a bunch of other flower and plant shops nearby. Restrooms: Shared with the Flower Market. Clean, and no need for a code. Just push the door. Food: Last but not least - scrumptious food! Plating is beautiful, and food was very satisfying. I got the chicken + waffles, and it was delicious with the honey and butter glaze. If you're looking for more leafy greens, I also highly recommend the Fried Chicken Egg Benedict.

The flavors and textures all worked so well with each other, it's the kind of dish that sticks with you. It was literally the dish that converted me into liking breakfast/brunch. Service was friendly and the space is cute and cozy -- exactly the vibe you want for weekend brunch. I do miss their rooftop seating though. Some street parking and nearby parking lots you have to pay for. It does get busy, so make a reservation in advanced! Enjoyed this meal, and will not be waiting years to return this time.

It's located within Hauser & Wirth which I discovered is an art gallery. When you walk through the building and enter the restaurant, it's such a big open space and doesn't feel cramped at all. Such a nice ambiance with lovely greenery and decor. Perfect for celebrations or a nice date out! Great for photos too. Across the way from the restaurant, there's even an area with fresh herbs being grown and you can even see a bunch of chickens! So if you come with little ones, they'll be super entertained and will have a great time here. We ordered a whole bunch of food and split everything. Upon seeing so many reviews for the cornbread, we had to get that and wow wow wow it is so worth the hype. Unreal. We had to order 2 because it was that good. Smoked albacore dip, ocean trout tartare, and louisiane shrimp aguachile were all good. The cara cara salad was diviiiiiine, so unique, it's a salad of oranges but it had such a unique flavor and had a slight kick to it. It's one of a kind! Both the grilled yellowtail and hangar steak were delicious, the steak comes with two eggs. Both cooked to perfection. Got a side of grilled asparagus, this one had an interesting twist with seaweed. Tasty but other dishes shined more. We ordered so much food and everything had such a beautiful presentation and was really delicious! I would come back here again in a heartbeat. One of my fave restaurants in LA, by far. Service was great too!

Sticky Glazed Pork Shank 10. Blackberries & Butter Montamore Cake Complimentary chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup and sprinkles for the birthday boy! My favorites: 1. The blueberry cornbread was served with the best honey butter and blueberry jam. 2. The goat curry was not gamey. The meat was tender and the curry was mild in flavor. 3. The salmon was served with a crispy skin. The celery and peanut salad complemented the salmon well. 4. The pork belly was full of flavor. It was served with glass noodles. 5. The HIGHLIGHT of dinner was the pork shank. It was served with a strawberry salad, cucumbers, hoisin mayo sauce, hot mustard sauce, naan, and lettuce. The meat fell of the bone. This is a MUST try. For dessert we ordered the blackberries & butter cake. It was served with a frozen blackberry basil jam which had the consistency of a sorbet and basil whipped cream. If you like basil, this is the dessert for you! Overall, this was a delicious dinner. Service was attentive. Everyone had a great time!

I loved all the greens and pita to wrap the pork and goodies into! We ended with a bday scoop of mango sticky ice cream which was completely different than I've had before and yummy.
