They have a good happy hour during the week that ends at 6pm. Drinks and food are great. Prices are average if it's not happy hour. Outdoor ordering is all using QR codes, your phone, their site, and digital payments. They are very fast with your orders. The inside is a nice atmosphere, too. I highly recommend The Black Cat.

The food is probably what would bring me back here. Few things about the scene - it looks cleaner in the photos than it looks/feels in person. The entrance door is open which invites a natural breeze, but it also invites flies. We sat all the way on the inside of the restaurant and flies were still helping themselves. Tables and seats are worn. When we went, some parts were sticky. I checked out another table and felt something similar, so I just tried to make myself as comfortable as possible by not moving from my seat. Service was not the best. Maybe it's because there were two of us, but we almost received no attention here. It felt like the waiters were more interested in people at the bar, so we had to flag down a few different waiters that were coming in and out of the kitchen for some help.

I've lived in LA for some time now and never made my way much to Silverlake and unfortunately not to 33 Taps until last night when I heard this was the go-to Knicks bar. I was NOT disappointed. Now, I was just a man looking for a sports bar to watch my team win, wasn't expecting much. So, I was pleasantly surprised when met with not only awesome fellow fans but also a kick-ass service team. That bar was so busy given the season and that was of expectation, but I watched the bartenders specifically handle it like a cake walk and even better, my drinks were FANTASTIC. From the Espresso Martini that got my not-so-young self through the night, to the Carajillo--those were elite cocktails and I had low hopes honestly. But, if they could impress me enough on an NBA Finals night to make a review, I can't imagine what a regular service day is like. GO TO 33 TAPS!!

(A lot of thought went into the acoustics & speaker system.) This chic establishment serves up European-inspired small plates, and their cocktail program melds inspiration with a respect for classic structure. The sultry pulsating bass lines that ooze through the speakers set the tone for a chilled vibe, and the tropical motifs provide an escape from reality. It's a great spot to relax and catch a game or hang with friends, which I did. I met some of my favorite Yelp peeps here for Sunday Brunch. We received a warm & friendly welcome from Rasheeda (bartender). She was darling, as was our server, Mason. They were both fantastic. We settled into the cozy couches tucked in the corner and ordered several dishes to share: Hummus, Prosciutto Panino, Eggplant Panino, Mediterranean Eggs, Green Shakshuka, & Fries. Drinks consisted of: Nitro Cold Brew, Bloody Mary, Age of Aquarius, & a Lavender Gimlet. The fries were tossed with rosemary salt and came with garlic aioli & ketchup. They were addicting & delicious. My Lavender Gimlet did not disappoint. Everyone enjoyed their selections, and we had a great time together. This was the perfect meet up spot. I'm looking forward to coming back. *Street parking (can be tricky.) Metered parking across the street. *Happy Hour 2 pm - 6 pm daily & all-day Monday.

Outdoor seating is available in the front and back patio and indoor seating is at the bar or dining room. We liked feel of the back patio but it seemed to be a designated smoking area so we chose the dining room instead. The atmosphere was warm and felt like being in a living room. We started with cocktails - a Mezcal Provencale, Hibiscus Margarita and a Toasted Coconut Daiquiri. They were well prepared and solid. I enjoyed the daiquiri. It was refreshing and not overly sweet and had a slight foam on top. Foodwise we had fish and chips, the house salad, chicken buns and the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Birthday boy enjoyed his salad and fish and chips. I tried his salad and enjoyed the little gem lettuce dressed with green goddess. The chicken buns had the right ratio of chicken, toppings and bread and though an appetizer, was enough for a meal. The grilled cheese and tomato soup combo was the classic pairing. The grilled cheese with the blend of cheeses, crispy Parmesan crust and added bacon was delicious. I savored it with a knife and fork. The tomato soup was also good. The pacing of drink and food orders was good. This was my first visit and a great one overall. I will keep it in mind when looking to dine in the area again.

It's a queer sports bar that is women's sports forward, but it also feels very much like a neighborhood hangout spot with queer, lesbian, straight, gay guys - everybody enjoying great food (try all the tacos and go for brunch too!) and watching all kinds of pro and college sports, NASCAR, even MRS DOUBTFIRE on one screen! There were less than 10 patrons when I arrived. You order via QR code here. I ordered a Guinness and nachos. I received the nachos, but still hadn't received the beer after 45 minutes. At that point, I noticed a White patron that came in after me received a Guinness. My Black friend went and asked the server (who was a White woman) if she forgot mine. 10 minutes later, the server set down a beer that was 70% foam without a look or a word. Meanwhile, I watched this server seemingly ignore Black patrons while approaching other patrons and asking if they needed anything, including my Cuban friend. My Cuban friend got so irritated, she went and told the woman that it seemed like people of a certain skin complexion were getting better service. The server denied it. The server still did not care. She then took 10 minutes to bring my Black friend water and never made eye contact nor spoke to my Black friend or me. Later, another patron approached me to comment on my funny shirt. I asked her how her experience with the customer service was, and she said the waitress acted strangely towards her (Black) friend until she said something to her about it. As a queer woman, I would love to support a queer-woman-owned sports bar, but apparently I'm not too welcome there. Nachos were good. The main TV setup is four separated screens, so the middle of the game is kind of invisible.
