Oct. 2025 My wife and I were in the area and stopped in for lunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a huge outdoor seating area for when the weather is nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We sat at the bar -- they brew their own beers here, and on Saturdays they offer free tours. We ordered our drinks while looking over the menu. My wife had a cheese pizza with garlic. She said it was okay but probably wouldn't order it again. I had the Cuban sandwich, which I've ordered a few times here. It was very good with a good amount of ham and pork, though the bread was a little on the soggy side this time -- it happens occasionally. The French fries were hand-cut and fried perfectly, as always. Overall, it's a good place to stop in for lunch.

First time here! I love their beer so it was great to be able to stop here for some beers and food! The pizza was really great- we got the Drunken Hawaiian pizza and the pepperoni pizza. I also got the Evo white beer which I liked a lot. The beer flights are huge glasses fyi!

Fabulous service! Go Taylor! The kitchen accommodated my GF diet and provided fabulous Crab dish! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great private booth and nostalgic music![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Pulled pork sandwich had good flavor!

We were driving to Virginia to visit family. We had our dog with us and wanted a place to eat that was dog friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Evolution Brewing has an absolutely fantastic outdoor seating area! Really built up nicely.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress was extremely friendly and professional. The food took a while to come out but that was ok because we were enjoying a break from driving. My pulled pork sandwich was tasty but wasn't served at optimal temperature. As a New Yorker, I wasn't overly impressed by the pizza that my daughter had. The side Caesar salads my wife and daughter had seemed good. I haven't drank alcohol in years but if I did, this would definitely be the place to be. Awesome tap list! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very good dog friendly place to stop on a road trip![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I've enjoyed the beer for many years at different events and bars. My first time at the Public House was very enjoyable. Bartender was very friendly and answered questions about the best wings. He suggested Thai Chili and he was on point. Sweet and spicy was the perfect blend for EV #3. Only critique was the wings needed more sauce. My visit was during an event and there was limited access but it appears there is a nice outdoor space and large space beyond the bar area. I'll be back for the full experience.

A drink with close friends at our happy place

Make sure to be ID ready. But then they'll let anyone drink . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambient is meh.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] linds is the only one at evo. No one is worthy

garlic parm are my favorite wings; these are primal pale ale

We had lunch delivered to work and EVO is across the street . Food is not hot or warm . Reheated fries . I found the presentation of the cheese burger aesthetically unappealing and tasting blah . Under seasoned burger...See pic. . The smallest slice of red onion you have ever seen. No pop of color to be seen . No napkins for delivery order. Girls said the " Sunshine Harvest " pizza was just not good and requesting never to order from here again . What has happened to EVO? I have been eating here for years and it's really gone downhill! Let's hope they can figure this out ...

Good burgers. Can be noisy because of the cavernous rooms. Eating outside in the summer is very nice.

Portions were on the large side so we had leftovers for a full takeaway meal. The egg rolls were new to us - corned beef dipped in a mustard sauce was an unusual, yet pleasant appetizer. They arrived hot with the interior cheese melted. Good. Side of broccoli was cooked to a soft texture - this is normal in many restaurants, yet I prefer crunchy raw so will ask for that next time. Service: Emily appeared frequently enough so we did not feel neglected. She's obviously experienced as we observed her navigating an increasingly busy clientele. Surprised for being after normal lunch time - 1:00 PM. She seemed to agree with our menu choices by sayiing "Good Choice." on our selections, Ambiance: Decor reminiscent of an Irish pub. It's NOT a college-student hangout by appearances and Emily's description. Surprising given how close this place is to the University. Tables and chairs, and booths appeared clean. Restroom was accessible, clean and well supplied. Mix of background music from Billy Joel to Irish titles. Ample free parking in front lot. Overall, a top rating due to a surprisingly pleasant experience offering unique to Salisbury food and atmosphere. Few notes: 1. Backs of booths are shared. Thus, you can feel neighboring diner shifting seats or leaning back. Like a kid kicking your airplaine seat back behind you, it's a minor irritation IF done once or twice. 2. Female servers need not wear minikilts and shorts to attract business in my opinion. Their uniform, if required, brings into question whether it's a family place. Regular length kilts would add suitable authentic atmosphere IMO.

We started with the shrimp salad on toast points, and I had an outstanding espresso martini. The appetizer was tasty, although it was very creamy such that I could not visibly recognize the shrimp. For dinner, I ordered the seafood Alfredo, and my wife ordered the market-price "Lump Crabcake" entrée. The Alfredo was very good, although the scallops were bay scallops rather than sea scallops, and for the price I expected a little more seafood. Her entrée included vegetables, while I had to order mine separately as an additional side. The biggest disappointment was the crabcakes. Despite being promoted as "lump crabcake," they appeared to be mostly filler with finely shredded crab, with perhaps 15% lump crabmeat. The flavor was good, but not exceptional, and I found the name of the entrée misleading. I am accustomed to a lump crabcake being predominantly lump crab. For dessert, we shared the bread pudding, which seemed unsure whether it wanted to be bread pudding or apple pie. It was fine, but not especially memorable. Overall, we enjoyed the atmosphere, received excellent service, and thought much of the food was good to very good. However, the crabcakes were quite disappointing, especially given the description and market price. Our bill before tip came close to $150, which was a bit of a shock considering the quality and portions. Calvin and the espresso martini were definite highlights, but the crabcakes did not live up to expectations.

They did not have any disappointing. My wife ordered a club sandwich that was supposed to come with Gouda cheese, ham, turkey, lettuce, tomato, and aïoli sauce. When she got it, there was no cheese so we had to return it and they ended up having to use a Colby cheese as they didn't have any Gouda. It had one slice of ham, one slice of turkey, one piece of cheese, lettuce, and tomato and three big pieces of bread. I ordered a double cheeseburger with four pieces of bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion. When the cheeseburger came I was told that oh by the way we are out of bacon tonight. So now we're out of cheesesteaks and bacon and forgot to put the cheese on the club sandwich along with meat. Then my wife used the bathroom, which had three stalls in it the one was completely clogged. The second one was semi clogged and the third one that wasn't clogged at all had no toilet paper. The machine to dry your hands was halfway up the wall and it needed a good cleaning. Overall, needless to say not very happy with the way the night went, but on a good note, our waiter was exceptionally nice person and did his best to make things right which didn't happen.
