I have ordered from here a few times usually it's about average for the area. Today I ordered a pizza, chips & dip and a sandwich. The highlight of the meal was the chips they were great, and everything else not so much. The pizza was almost raw in the center and had barely any toppings on it. I ordered it with sausage on half and grilled chicken on half and roasted reds on the whole pizza. Then my wife takes a bite of her sandwich and almost breaks her fucking tooth on a hard nut or something it looks like an acorn (see pic ) so I don't think we will be going here anymore read more

Got take out here and was impressed so decided to do the outdoor dining thing. They have a great setup for COVID, with a nice outdoor section with plenty of seating. Have only had the Montanara style pizza - which they fry the dough before going in the oven. Not what you would think. Nothing fried tasting about it but definitely gives it a signature taste like nothing I've had before. Chewy and delicious though. Have to try some other things but the pizza is so good. Had great service as well. Fatboy likes this spot and will be returning fo sho. read more

Put a pizza order in for pick up- got to the restaurant and discovered I placed the order for the next day. The hostess fixed the order and told me it would take 10-15 minutes. I asked if my son and I could sit at a table and order a drink and maybe dessert. We were seated at a high top and ordered right away - the pizza came out fast - even before our dessert order! We enjoyed our dessert and got the bill promptly when I asked for it. Service was speedy & efficient and the hostess was great at fixing my mistake! We have eaten here a few times now, food was always decent, but we went for lunch the other day and the food was really good! lasagna fritters were pretty average but the salads and entrees were great! very impressed! The service however was sub par, i don't want to mention names. our server was pretty scarce but then i saw her talking to someone sitting at the bar for long periods of time. My Husband and I tried this for the first time last night. We had on one occasion been to the 110 Grille, which we knew was a sister restaurant and figured we'd give it a try. (We also had a gift card.) We waited a while to be seated, even though the place was empty. The hostess was on the phone. Manger walked by a few times, then finally came around and seated us. Best thing about our meal was the bread & oil. Husband started with the Minestrone. We had to ask about it a second time as it hadn't been brought out. When we did get it, it was actually good. Then we waited a very long time for our meals. We ordered a chicken and a veal parm, nothing special about that so I don't know why it took so long. We also ordered a side of creamy polenta (which came with another meal) and side of butternut squash with walnuts. It looked very good. Extra points for the dollop of ricotta drizzled with pesto! This is a favorite of mine on spaghetti with marinara. BUT the marinara sauce was underwhelming and I could only eat the spaghetti with the ricotta. Honestly, I think a jar of Ragu might have tasted better. The polenta and squash came about 10 minutes after we got our meals - clearly it was forgotten. The squash came without walnuts. The polenta had ZERO flavor. The squash was good, but would have been better with the walnuts. Ended the meal with the Tiramisu. It was okay, kinda tasted like they drizzled it with Hershey's chocolate syrup. Our server Sam was great. Overall rating: Meh. There are way too many good Italian restaurants in the area. I love this place the food is good... but $20 for wings... cmon now only 8 mediocre wings I was sad when I opened up my to go box... other than that you guys kill it. I guess ordering wings at evivva is like ordering a cheese burger at a Chinese restaurant not their specialty. It's okay I get it. If you want wings go to romana 10 wings for 13 bucks absolutely delicious and ridiculously good. My husband and I went for a late dinner on a Saturday. Once we were seated, it took a solid 5 or 6 mins for our waitress to even acknowledge us. While looking over the menu, both of ours looked like they haven't been cleaned in a while and were greasy and dried food was on them. Drinks were good. I had an espresso martini and a sangria. Both were tasty. Appetizers were sausage arancini which we had to sent back because they were cold inside and the calamari. Calamari looked like a decent portion but once we got ours we quickly realized that most of it was friend cherry pepper rings and not calamari. Overpriced for the amount of appetizers we were served. For dinner I had the orichettie. Again very overpriced at $22 for basically a bowl of pasta with overcooked broccolini and very little sausage. It also had a greasy and oily taste to it. My husband got the fra diavalo. Small portion for the price and mostly Pasta and less seafood. Overall, not impressed. Food was overpriced and mediocre at best. Today was Veterans Day,my 92 year old Dad served as a Marine in the Korean War.A restaurant next door to the Eviva was offering veterans a free lunch,so of course the place was mobbed and we couldn't get in. The Eviva was right next door so we went there. The place is beautiful , clean and spacious. My sister says the food is fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, our meals did not work out as we expected. But ,this is why I'm giving this place a 5 star rating. The GM, Tom, came to our table and graciously apologized for the mishap. He was polite,thoughtful and incredibly kind , Thanked my father for being a marine and said the meal was on the house. We did not expect any such generous gift. My dad was equally surprised and said there are still wonderful people in this world ! Made his Veterans Day for sure. Thank you Tom, Happy Thanksgiving. read more

Loved this place prices are on the higher side but it's due to the quality and the portion size. I highly recommend this chain and I'm not a fan of chains at all. My only complaint is the waiter wasn't that great but the food was fantastic and everyone left full and some left with leftovers. We had one of the pizzas and it was so delicious and had great toppings. We also had the mushrooms risotto and that was perfectly cooked and delicious. There red sauce is a bit lacking but everything else I would get again. Can't wait to go back. read more

My fiancé and I were so excited to hear that Evviva Trattoria was opening in Wrentham, as it was one of our favorite restaurants when we lived in Beverly. After visiting this past Saturday, the food, service, and quality met all of the high standards that were established from their other locations. We arrived around 3pm and were happy to see that there were spots available at the large, U-shaped bar. We were greeted right away by the hostess, as well as the bar tenders and they were quick to take our drink orders. My fiancé had the Mai Thai (delicious and as remembered), and I had the Pear Mule which was very refreshing. Next we ordered the Arancini, which are one of the main reasons that we loved the Beverly location so much. To our delight they were as amazing as we had remembered, served over a marinara with pesto on top. They are a must have when visiting! We also ordered the Avocado Toast, and the Fried Ravioli. Both were tasty and flavorful, and all of the appetizers came out of the kitchen quickly and were hot when they arrived. One of the nicest parts of our meal was when we were visited by the manager who checked in on us and the other bar patrons. He was friendly and quick to make us a new round of drinks himself. Ended up here by accident as the restaurant nearby in the same plaza had too long of a wait. The outdoor patio was a nice atmosphere and the drinks were good, but the food was just painfully average. I ordered the Bolognese and it was too saucy for my taste, not like a true Bolognese, although I didn't necessarily expect this place to be super authentic. My fiance took me here for my birthday. The staff was so friendly from the moment we walked in the door. They have a great menu with a ton of variety to choose from. We got two apps which were okay nothing special. The pizza was awesome easily the best item on the menu. We got the buffalo chicken and the farmhouse pizza. I ordered takeout on Valentine's day and arrived when I was told it would be ready (20 minutes), checked in and paid for the order. I then waited another 40 minutes and the order still wasn't ready. As they failed to control the crowded waiting area (and people stacking up in line) I stood outside for a bit and then called to check on the order. They put me on hold for 5 minutes and abandoned the call. I was standing in front of the window a foot away and I could see them not servicing anyone so I hung up and called again. The order luckily came out of the kitchen right then so I headed inside to grab it. They got the order wrong. I asked to just take the wrong item off and had to wait in an overcrowded area for a manager. No apology from anyone really and just terrible service overall. The complete lack of handling the crowd and capacity during a pandemic by the font of the house manager is baffling. This place was packed and I very much doubt distincting guidelines are being followed as people were seated back to back in booths and the amount of people in jamming into the waiting area and vestibule. read more

The restaurant lost our reservation, my friend was served the wrong meal, and staff were not wearing masks while working. When it was brought to the attention of our server that the wrong dish was served, there wasn't any genuine concern over possible food allergies. The answer was simply "Well, you ate the meal so I can't do anything for you". That's not a customer servive based answer. Another review left (during covid) also reports staff not wearing masks while working and interacting with customers, so this is clearly an on-going issue. read more

I stopped in on a Sunday night for a quick drink with my man. Because of the new Covid rules we had to order food...which turned out great because he got it to go and took it for lunch on Monday. Stopped for lunch today with some clients from the stadium, various dishes, I tried the balsamic grilled chicken salad, while the flavor profile was good I would strongly suggest not chopping the "artisan lettuce mix" into small little indistinguishable pieces, completely destroys the character of the $18 salad. I get that prepping in this manner is time and cost effective, thats code for "lazy" it was comparable to eating a bowl of bag lettuce from Shaws. read more

Hate to leave a bad review during these tough times for restaurant businesses but the last couple of times I have gotten take out here it has been very mediocre at best. Today will be the last time I probably will go here. When I arrived here the two hostesses greeted me with no masks until they realized I had mine on they finally put theirs on. I looked towards the back of the restaurant where the kitchen was there were about 6 to 8 people standing around again no one was wearing masks. I order a kids cheeseburger it comes only with a yogurt!!! I also order a kids Mac and cheese and again it only comes with a yogurt both ten bucks each. And finally order a small salad and chicken broccoli ziti meal that was the same size as my kids meal for $45 !!!! Ouch !! The braised short rib sandwich... OMG. Amazing. This is now my favorite sandwich and I'll be back more and more for it. The short rib is fall-apart melt in your mouth. The leeks, cherry peppers, arugula, everything works. It is great on it's own but the gravy they give you with it is everything. Soooo rich. my mom and i recently had a delightful ladies lunch at Evviva Trattoria. i had been to the location in Westford previously with my husband, and knew that we were likely in for a good meal, but i have to admit i was impressed with our experience. first- my mom has very fond memories of making gnocchi with her mother and is forever seeking "her mother's gnocchi." we specifically look for restaurants that serve gnocchi, and were both pleased to see it on the menu here (before we came- i did research and she knew she was going to order it before we walked in the door). we were seated at a banquette table by Kerri who also waited on us during lunch. we started out with the chips and dip appetizer and it's phenomenal. the chips are clearly cut and fried in house, and the truffle flavor was subtle and perfect. both dips were tasty, and the chip-to-dip ratio was great- no leftover chips looking for extra dip. the bread with oil was fresh and hot, and the seasoning in the oil really added to the experience. my mom's gnocchi was delicious. not quite her mother's (it never is), but she was very pleased. i went with the tritato salad, and added beets. i love beets, but never prepare them at home because it's a messy process, so i'm always looking for them on restaurant menus. here's where things went a little awry: my salad arrived sans beets. ah, well- such is life. not everything can be perfect. but here's what people get wrong: good customer service is NOT getting everything right the first time. truly good customer service is recognizing when something is wrong, and fixing it or accommodating the customer to the best of your ability. when Kerri came to check on us, she noticed the lack of beets and offered to get some for the salad. i said no, because i truly was on the verge of being full, and again- not the end of the world. to her credit, Kerri proactively brought me a to-go box to which she had already added beets! what a thoughtful solution to the issue. not only that, but when my mom indicated she'd like to take the leftover bread home, Kerri also brought a to-go ramekin so she could take the seasoned oil. excellent, excellent service. we will certainly be back to this location when my mom is in the area, and needs a gnocchi fix. i highly recommend this restaurant. read more

DISAPPOINTED Service 2 Food 3 Ambiance 2 This evening we visited EVVIVA for the first time and probably last time. We started at the bar as we waited for our table. The bar tenders were very attentive, there whenever we needed something. I wish I could as much for the rest of the evening. Our waitress informed us the Evviva is a from scratch kitchen. An interesting concept that failed in execution. We order appetizers that were okay. Nonna's Meatballs at $13 were average. The meat was over mixed so the texture was a little tough. Chips Al Forno at $13 were also okay. This issue were the secondi. I ordered the Mediterranean falafel salad. It arrived ice cold, with pieces of artichoke straight from a can. When using canned artichokes in a restaurant setting please cut off the tough ends before serving. The falafel was mushy and unpalatable, there were exactly 3 onions on the salad, maybe 4 olives and a ton of greens. And to top it off the "from scratch" dressing was bland, a $16.00 disappointment. My friend ordered the cauliflower skillet. The cauliflower pieces were small and cooked to the point of losing any flavor or semblance of its original glory. Also over cooked, or toasted as the case may be the Naan was burnt. In stark comparison, the potatoes were hard and under cooked. This dish was small, sad and overall underwhelming. My husband had the smaller portion of the Bolognese. He liked it, but it looked like a kid size portion. No grated cheese was offered. The plates were dumped and the staff scattered like we had the plague. The bigger problem was the waitress. She never came over to ask how our food was. We never got a chance to see if any improvements could be made. At one point, trying to explain her long absence, I suggested that perhaps she had been abducted by aliens. I was quickly corrected by my husband who said if aliens were looking for a waitress this woman would not be first choice. Yet another issue was the bus boy who brought us our food. He was so sad, so so sad, or angry, or disenfranchised. What he wasn't was happy to do his job. At least pretend that you are while you're on the floor. The poor creature was so miserable that we wanted to suggest that he may want to go home. He obviously didn't want to be there! All joking aside it was uncomfortable to watch him act so miserably as he dropped our plates in front of us. This establishment is basically a food factory, just another chain. The décor is generic, the environment loud, the staff untrained and unprofessional and temperature was cold. It was a waste of $100, I may as well have gotten the "from scratch" ingredients, cooked myself, and invested the rest in next week's groceries. Oh, and she never brought us our bread. read more
