This place was bad and that's coming from me I can eat anything but the noodles tasted like they cooked everything together which you do not do with seafood and noodles the only decent thing in this place was the sweat and sour chicken which is close to impossible to mess up when you just put the sauce on it he day after I felt like I took a guy shot from a boxer and I have a strong stomach so take from me don't go to this place it dose not deserve the ratings it has right now it should be a one star or a half its that bad the waiters told us that there was no seafood I feel the noodles because we asked because we had someone with us that is high elergic to seafood and lucky I ate some first or it could have been a very bad day for my friend. read more

I ordered Salted Pepper Pork Chop, Steamed fish with ginger and onion, and Honey walnut shrimp. The girl on the phone told me it would take 15 minutes and my food was ready as soon as I walked into the restaurant. The service was fast and the food was delicious even though the restaurant was almost full. What else can I ask for? We always come here for Chinese takeout when I feel lazy to cook. We never have a problem ordering our food and it's always around 15 minutes to pick up. All the workers are friendly and the food has never been a let down. We've probably ate here over 30 times. A great Chinese restaurant with reasonable prices and great service. I just moved to ocean point. this is the first time I tried this Chinese restaurant. I ordered crab Rangoon, honey walnut shrimp, house cake noodle, and Mongolian beef. I've given this place a few tries since it's down the street from where I live, but I'm never that satisfied. One nice thing about the place is the staff. They are extremely pleasant and very professional, but the food never seems to do it for me. Tonight we got a few items, hoping that at least one would be the "wow" factor, but to no avail, the food was merely okay. The food certainly isn't terrible, but it's fine and in need of something more. The Sezuan chicken was okay, but I found it a little under-seasoned and bland. Also, the char-siu chow mein needed some spice and "life.". In all, there's not much to complain about the convenience of being able to walk and get some inexpensive food, but there are better places out there. You won't be disappointed by the staff, cleanliness, prices, or portions, but if you're looking to stimulate your taste buds, this might not be the best restaurant to do so. read more

We were very disappointed with the food. The service was good, but the food was not. The deep fried shrimp with pineapple was more like large batter balls with a small shrimp hiding inside. The sweet sauce and pineapple pieces were on the side. We also ordered shrimp fried rice (many of the shrimp had not been de-veined and the black vein was not appetizing), and beef with broccoli. The beef and broccoli's sauce was thick and over-powering; the meat was chewy and not enjoyable. Even the fortune cookie was stale. read more

Tell me how you can place a to-go order and the sauce that supposed to come with the food like sweet and sour sauce for crab Ragoons and the plum sauce with the duck they charge you a dollar fifty per cup like the smallest cup ever after you spend $50 on a to-go order are you kidding me! This has consistently been my go to Chinese takeout location since I've moved to Ewa. Nothing spectacular, but very fast, which is why I go them repeatedly. Not once have I ordered my food and had to wait after I drove there (I live 5 minutes away). The speed and familiarity is why I keep going back. Good spring rolls, good hot and sour soup, in my opinion. Would recommend to anyone in a Chinese food crunch! read more

Really bad customer service! I placed a phone order and Chinese lady keep pausing to talk to somebody while taking my order. She never reviewed my order before saying "ok bye". I was hoping she wouldn't mess up my order and sure thing she did! When I walked in to pick up they said no order under my name & phone number. Chinese lady looked guilty for making mistake but didn't want to admit it and no apologies. Never ever going back there again! read more

I'm amazed at how this place still looks the same when it first opened up 14 years ago. This is one of the few clean and up-kept Chinese restaurants by far. By my standards that says a lot. Food is better than average. Had the sweet sour pork which is flavorful but little more on the sweet side. Need to find a little more balance with the sour part. Crispy gaugee was good and decent sized. A little overpriced in my opinion. Also had abalone soup which was majority veggies and and pork. Very little abalone but the broth was real balanced. Pork harm ha with watercress over cake noodles was average as I prefer my noodles a little crispy like other places. It was on the softer side but sauce was pretty tasty. Cold ginger chicken was pretty good. The biggest disappointment was the salt and pepper shrimp. Although it was good as far as the flavoring goes, the head was left on and shrimp and was smaller than some other restaurants I tried. All in all the food was alright. Love the ambiance and lighting and the staff was nice. Food came quickly and freshly cooked which added an extra star to my review. I recommend this place but there is other places that are better in food taste and quality. read more

Let me ask you something: When you order a sizzling plate, are you: - prepared to see a "Hot Grease Popping Show" all over your table? - hoping for the HOT grease to land on your skin, clothes, table wear, water, tea, and other food you have on the table? - not expecting to be accomodated for the above? If you are then this is the place for you. :) Long story short, my wife and I came to this restaurant and ordered a sizzling plate. The waiter brought out a covered sizzling plate then placed it on the table. While she uncovered the plate, hot grease began to fly everywhere. The waiter had to realize the plate was too d%&% hot as she backed away and returned to the kitchen. I didn't expect for this to last longer than 5 to 10 seconds, but it lasted for an approximate 2 minutes. In the process, the hot grease burned our skin, mostly landing on my wife's arm. It was all over the table, our clothes, in our tea, water, and table wear. Afterwards, we confronted the waiter and asked her why she didn't leave the plate covered until it was finish. The waiter, with a questionable look on her face, shrugged her shoulders and stated "That is how we serve it, I'm sorry". At this point, the only thing we were asking for is some sort of customer service to accommodate for this negligence. The waiter basically told us that it was nothing she can do about it so we asked to speak to the owner or manager. The waiter stated "the manager or the owner is not in, but you can leave your name and number and he will contact you when he get a chance". But we declined this offer and asked if she contacted the owner immediately by phone to explain what happened. Five minutes later, the waiter comes back out to say "The owner said we cannot accommodate for this, if you're burned from the grease, you can claim it on your insurance". The look me and my wife had on our face was priceless. We been coming to this restaurant for quite some time and I couldn't believe she had the audacity to come back out and tell us that. Now my appetite is totally gone. We told the waiter that we were going to make a police report and without hesitating she stated "Ok, go ahead". Thirty minutes later the police came and we filled our report. To address this issue we are planning to take this event to the civil court. Hopefully we'll be seeing them again soon. Oh and yes, I did have to pay the entire bill. Just thought I share that with you. read more

The won ton soup is ok everything else sucked. It was very bland and over fried. The spare ribs smelt like chicken and tasted like sugar and boiled meat. Blandest Chinese food ever. And for what you pay it was horrible. Never ever again. read more

My boyfriend and I visited here last valentines night. Since it was close to home and we didn't wanna drive far. I ordered chicken chow mein and chicken chopsuey, I point the chicken chopsuey to our waitress to make sure she gets it. She nods and I thought she got what my order correct. Five minutes later a lady put chicken cashew in our table, I thought it was one of our orders. Later on I notice that I don't see my chicken chopsuey. So I called a waitress and told her that we didn't ordered chicken cashew, she took it and told her manager about it. The manager came to our table to assure me if we did or we did not ordered that certain food.. While we were still eating our "waitress" the one who took our orders swing at our table and give me that angry look and mad chinise voice " YOU DIDNT ORDER THAT CASHEW CHICKEN?" and left before I can even talk! That just killed it all! I was so embarrassed! I couldn't even finished my food, I just wanna get the check and leave! Don't get me wrong they have delicious food and all, but a waitress doing that to you just because she got your order wrong and I point it out to her so she can't blame me, she didn't even looked when I pointed out what I want she just nods!!!! My experience in this place was something I cannot forget, so I wouldn't wanna come here again sorry. I felt so disrespected and embarrassed for something so little, she didn't even apologize for getting my order wrong. I was vacationing with my family in Ewa Beach and wanted Chinese. 3 adults and a 13yr old, all Caucasian. We saw the great reviews and went. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food came fast and in nice portions for the price, as was reported in other reviews. We love all kinds of Asian foods and I always thought we were pretty adventurous; however we weren't ready for what may actually be very authentic; and I've been to Beijing, twice. The special chow mien had many large squid, lots of big strange mushrooms, and tasted very fishy. The spicy beef and peppers was somewhat flavorless, not spicy at all and the meat was done but barely and was very mushy and soft. The best dish was the sweet and sour pork but even it was very bland. Again, it might be us, but, if your looking for mainstream, "tourist style" this isn't it. If you think you'd like what I described above, this might be the best value you've ever experienced. read more
