Exact Plumbing is awesome....I have used them for both my home and my business plumbing needs. Zachary is always available, responds right away, schedules appointments quickly, shows up within the window promised and gets the job done. I have worked with a number of plumbers over the years, both for construction plumbing and plumbing problems and while I have run into good plumbers here and there, Exact is consistently good. We have three bathrooms in an older home, on a septic system, so having a good, reliable plumber is critical. When we originally found Exact, it was because there was a problem between the house and the septic system and it was clear that we were going to have to snake from the septic box. We called a few plumbers that gave astronomical quotes. Zach from Exact was the only one that said, hey, if you get everything cleared away from the septic so that all I have to do is open the tank and snake it out, you can save yourself a lot of money, which is exactly what we did. We've been using him ever since. Today's call was for a backup up drain...we called at the end of the day yesterday, an appointment was scheduled for first thing this morning, Zach has already come and gone and the shower drain is working fine after the removal of an enormous hairball. My water heater was on the fritz and I was fairly certain required replacement. In reviewing units on the Internet, I found this company listed as the closest installer for a brand I liked. I called Zach (the owner) and he came over and worked up five estimates going from simple repairs/replacement to major upgrades. His attention to detail was remarkable as was his interest in working within my budget. I ended up selecting an "on demand" model with some additional work to upgrade my basement drainage. He and his technician Jordan did all the required work in about six hours. They hauled away the old unit and left everything looking new and spotless. The job was not cheap but the high quality of the replacement unit and the top notch installation were still a terrific value. I am having them return next week to refurbish an old style "eighties" solar water heating system and will rate them again upon completion. However, based on my experience so far, that should be a five star rating as well. I have been more than pleased with this company; they do excellent work at a fair price with old-fashioned pride in being the best. Zach and Jordan are real heros! Both of these men know their stuff and they were extremely efficient and happy about doing their work. It is a real pleasure to do business with them. I had hesitated in calling a plumber for my stopped up kitchen sink because I didn't know any plumbers and wasn't sure who to trust. The other positive reviews on Yelp really helped with my decision to call. Not only did Zach and Jordan take care of my sink, but because they were so efficient with the two of them working together, there was time for them to also flush my hot water heater and install a new shower head in my shower for no added charges. It really felt like Christmas and I am tickled to have my sink, water heater and shower all back in working order. I found Exact Plumbing in the chamber of commerce in Guernville. He also came highly recommended by a friend of mine who owns a bed and breakfast near my home. I recetly had a small problem with a leak under my kitchen sink and gave Exact Plumbing a call. Zach the owner was very polite and scheduled an appointment the same day. When Zach and his partner arrived they looked very profesional and even took their shoes off before they came in. They got to work and diagnost the problem immediatly. Appairently the p-trap was leaking and needed to be replaced, which they did quickly. When they were done they asked if there were any other plumbing problems I had. I couldn't think of any, but I did need the water filter under the sink replaced. So without even having to tell them they replaced it for me and it was all part of the first hour charge! This review is a long time coming. Just over a year and a half ago my wife and I bought our first home... one that had been vacant for five years. The house was built in 1959 and all of the plumbing was original, and corroded solid. They came in and replaced all of the freshwater lines, upgraded our water heater pan, and cleaned up after they were done! They did a great job, and we haven't had any problems... super quick hot water to the far side of the house, and plenty of pressure. Now, the reason I'm finally writing this review is that we just had to call them again because we had a blocked sewer line. The guys came the next morning, fixed the problem, cleaned up the mess, and were out of here in 30 minutes. Not a bad price either. Highly recommended. read more

Zach has done a great job over the years doing various plumbing jobs for us. He installed the plumbing in both of our bathrooms and even took an extra step and helping my husband install the shower walls even helped carry them into the house. After using the shower for the first time the water pressure was a bit low after calling him to ask what I could do to fix it he said he would be at my house in 10 min this was on a Sunday evening. When he arrived 6min later he replaced the hot water line and didn't even charge me!! We have however needed his services on a weekend and it was affordable most business will charge an arm and a leg not Zach! I highly recommend this business for all you plumbing need these guys are clean and professional. read more

Zack Peterson, who started/owns/operates Exact plumbing just left my house...he was punctual, clean, courteous, quick - all the things we hope a tradesperson will be - but also extremely pleasant, helpful and SMART. It turns out that I'll need to replace some parts, which i was able to order through him - sparing me a time-consuming afternoon at hardware stores - and which he'll be able to install this week. Before he left, he gave me a precise estimate for the entire job - 2 visits, the parts, the installation, so there won't be any surprises. We decided to use Exact Plumbing after reading all their great reviews on Yelp. The others plumbers we called were closer to our location, but still weren't available until days later. We needed someone fast to help us figure out this terrible smell invading our office (We are open to the public, so you can see our urgency). Exact was there same day! They came and took the time needed to trouble shoot this awful stench (which other service providers did not do). They even discovered some unfinished work and work that had been done incorrectly on the building. We could not be happier with Exact Plumbing. We are now stench free!!! Best plumber ever. Zach and Jordan have been to my place a few times on plumbing repairs and replacements. I'm catching up on all the deferred maintenance from previous owners of this building. From repairing a leaky faucet to replacing a toilet to rerouting pipes, Exact Plumbing will get it all done right the first time. They're also really good at working around your pets. P.S. I had a backed up main sewer line that needed to be cleared. I tried Mr. Plumber based on Yelp! reviews, and their availability. They came to the house, spent two and half hours, made a huge mess, and could not fix the problem. They told me I needed to spend between $2,000 and $5,000 dollars to replace pipes, and then left me with no use of my kitchen and bathroom. I call Zack at Exact plumbing to come take a second look. He was there that afternoon, quickly found the problem, and had it fixed in 30 minutes. They fixed a few other minor issues while they were there. Zach the owner of the company was patient with me and made a stressful situation effortless. Zach pays great attention to detail and does very high quality work. This is evidenced by an extensive septic leach line cleanout that he did on short notice, but did not leave the job until the work was complete and satisfactory. Since the work was completed the septic has worked perfectly which in turn avoided the nearly $20K cost of replacing all of the leach lines within the leach field. He has been in the business for many years and is very knowledgable about both products and repairs. I would always trust Exact Plumbing for any plumbing repairs or upgrades. read more

A landscaping project required our propane lines to be moved. Zack was able to remove the old lines and install the new lines in the same day. This was huge because we were able to have hot water that night.
