$16.16 for 2 drinks and some boiled eggs ...
    Elle J.

Very VERY overpriced. For $16.16 I was able to get a Diet Pepsi (they don't have Coke here), two boiled eggs, and a water. It's crazy that they charge $5 for a Diet Pepsi!!! I mean I know Fiji water in a hotel is going to be crazy bananas price wise but a Diet Pepsi?!? Anyways, if you are staying here then I suggest you stop off and get your drinks and snacks in a more economical way. Otherwise you'll reward this crazy price gouging ... like I just did sadly. Lesson learned!

I had a burger here and it was absolutely delicious!!!! Okay so prices may not be so affordable like other Yelpers are saying but when you buy food at a hotel expect to pay a premium. You know I'm a beer guy so I was expecting some local brews but nope. They could at least have Stone or a Sculpin but anyway it's a nice little spot to pick up some snacks.

located in the south end of the Marriott Marquis... if you want to grab a quick bite and don't want to leave the hotel...this is your option (other than starbucks). my daughter wanted pizza during our staycation so we ordered it here.. it's not cheap...but that's to be expected in a hotel. the pizza was actually quite delish!!! the crust ends were super crispy while the undercrust was still soft. i'm sure it's a frozen/premade pizza...but whatever oven they used kicks butt!!! good amount of seating if you don't want to take the pizza away to pool or room

Salmon bagel with cream cheese, onion, tomato, and capers ($10)
    Lisa G.

Better than average hotel quick service. After a long day of travel, we got a quick bite - cheese pizza and fries (not the healthiest eating day). Both were surprisingly tasty. The next morning, I ordered a salmon bagel. It was really good on a toasted everything bagel and comes with a little side of onions, tomatoes and capers for $10.

Street parking only, very scarce. No obvious signage, look for writing in the window. They have a…read morering type camera door system. Wait outside on the sidewalk (no exterior seating) and someone will come to take you inside. Do not ring the door bell. The theme is to take it slow. Each customer typically waits 20-30 minutes to enter as part of how they do things, even if there is open seating inside. Not sure if they use a timer to space entries but it seems consistent. They take one group in at a time. Interior: A few tables around the wall and then bar seating. Would not recommend for parties greater than 2, there just isn't the space. They welcome service animals, babies/children and strollers from what I observed. The music was very, very loud. It was difficult to hold a conversation. I did not see a bathroom. Ordering process: After seating you wait for a little bit for them to bring small water cups and a QR menu with a table number and a set of rules. They do not have a physical menu, you must use your phone to order. Cell phone reception was dicey and took a long time to load. They have an interesting concept where you have a digital 'tab' open on their toast website. Unfortunately you must provide your full name, email and phone number. They have pour over drinks (note these can take 15-20 minutes), matcha, Hojicha and others. You may only order one drink per person at a time. They have a small snack menu with rotating foods. They use oat milk only. No substitutions allowed. After mobile ordering, drinks take 20-30 minutes as part of their take it slow vibe. Matcha $8 is from Paru tea and was very good. Hojicha $8 was too milky and didn't have a strong enough flavor. When you are done you walk to the register by the door and wait to be checked out. If they are making a drink you wait until they are finished. I wasn't really a fan. Staff were brusque. Music was too loud to converse.

(i'm a sucker for airoma's pandan matcha oops) order ahead online during the weekend and rush hours! they prepare them so quickly.

You have to order at kiosk and can barely talk to them they're busy and aren't very friendly. Ambiance was cool and okay but the service and quality of the drink was more important to me. It was clean, cool, good to do your hw, or work remotely, or just a quick drink to get. Wasn't that impressed sadly I had hiiiiiiigh expectations. Thai is why I give 3 stars. Luckily 2 girls had a fundraiser going and saw me and my pregnant sister and offered to pay digitally, so I gave them the cash that paid and told them to keep the extra for their fundraiser. Great girls! They didn't work there FYi

Ranging from the classics (drip, latte, cappuccino...) to the unusual (banana matcha) and so many different foam options. The staff were patient and helpful in explaining their menu to me. There are also pastries and a cooler of canned drinks as well. Some tables available, but it'd also be fun to take a walk and look at all the plants while sipping your drink. I got the banana latte with marshmallow cold foam with the "pop tart" pastry and both were really good.

But hey, we can share a table I used to come to Selva months ago to wait out traffic before dance class nearby, but seating was always hard to find: 7-8 tables cramped around one large tree in the center of the coffee area which, as many of you may remember, inhabited just 1/4th of the huge warehouse room it is situated in. As of May 2026 (and before, but this is my date of visit), the seating now stretches all the way to the back of the warehouse room. Circle tables with 1, 3, 5 green chairs nestled between large potted plants so you and your besties (or just your laptop) can vibe together amidst all the shared oxygen. AMBIENCE: 4.5/5 Bury me in a sea of green and I'm a happy girl. San Diego is a relatively newer city so it's hard to find brick anything... but here, in this tall expanse of a painted brick building, light flows in through the row of windows near the ceiling; planet-looking plants twirl, hung overhead. That's not even mentioning the whole plant warehouse this shop is attached to -- 2 more large rooms PLUS a whole outside filling to the brim with gorgeous greenery. If your brain gets tired working, it's so nice to peruse the plant aisles beneath the huge twirling disco ball in the plant room attached. I deducted .5 points because it's not in the nicest part of town; you may run into folks on the street here. If you're a lone woman, keep your wits about you as you're walking at night... but I've never had a problem. DRINKS / FOOD: 4/5 I don't remember seeing if there is prepared food here, but I do see snacks (chips, baked goods) and refrigerated drinks GALORE, plus a whole middle section of cute gifts no one has a need for, but every last desire for. Today I got the "Funny Business", a banana/cinnamon-infused latte, half sweet, WITHOUT the banana-infused cream cloud on top, as ya girl must skip out on the dairy. I was delightfully surprised at how strong the coffee is -- I remember it being quite weak before. However, the drink without the cream top on its own is not that flavorful. I'm a good coffee / latte lover -- not a cream top one. I wouldn't say this place is for the coffee-serious (which is why I give it 4 stars out of 5), but they have so many inventive drinks for the sweet drinker. I do appreciate the variety of snacks and drinks they have here -- I am gluten free, so it's nice to have access to chips and not just gluten-full baked goods I can't eat, which most shops are known for. PARKING: 4/5 I mean... it could be worse. You're in an industrial part of town right next to the freeway, they couldn't exactly plan for a parking lot of their own here when building. [There IS a parking lot, but it's for people shopping for plants.] Parking is along the front of the warehouse and in the street perpendicular to it. If it's REALLY crazy, you can keep going down the street the warehouse is on and find parking down there. I've never had an issue with parking, but I come on Friday afternoons when the PLNU students etc. are likely not here. 4/5 for me. It's rare to find a place like this anywhere (just don't come expecting the best third wave coffee). Come enjoy a rare oasis of greenery and sweet drinks right near the water. And if you're feeling really inspired, head on down to Sunset Cliffs a few miles down to close out the night with an unforgettable view

I did enjoy the egg one much more as the katsu one had a strong vinegary sauce that was overpowering the whole sando. Service/Ambiance 4/5: There was plenty of seating and the workers were nice. We were really hoping to try the shrimp sando but they were out. Don't think I will be coming back to try it though.
