Never Ever go here!!! My coolant was leaking from the Top......I showed him where the coolant was leaking....and asked for a estimate to fix. He tells me I need a new bleeder....tank reservoir and coolant.....total cost parts and labor (100+).......would have been close to $400!! Plus he said there might be something else wrong but won't know until fixing this first and checking. I told him leak was only coming from where the bleeder was.....and went somewhere else.....2nd shop told me tank is fine...... All I needed was a new bleeder.....part was less than $5....Took me like five mins to fix!!! Never Ever Go here!! You have been Warned!! read more

Update: A few months ago, I came in to get my air conditioner fixed. The air is still coming out cool and fresh. I returned to exclusively imports to get my brakes replaced. I kept hearing a sound, so I knew they were in bad condition. I felt very comfortable returning to this shop because of my first experience. Sergio inspected my car and again gave me a comprehensive explanation about my brake defect. My brakes were done in a timely matter. I hear no sound and my car feels really good. I really appreciate the care and attention to detail that they have for my car, but also for me. I don't ever feel like they are trying to sell me more. It's nice to be able to trust a good mechanic. Been going to this place for years, even back in the day when they were down the street at a smaller location. Truly "dealership quality service for less", as their invoices indicate. Whether you own a classic 'brick' like my 1982 244 GL customized (by Sergio and his team back in 2008) or a newer Volvo, save yourself the trouble of driving 30-50 miles to your nearest Volvo dealership. They'll keep the newer ones under warranty, while remaining fully knowledgeable about the classic ones - hard to find in the auto repair business. I never do this but WOW: Do not go to Exclusively Imports in Whittier. I took my car in, as the usual place was closed, and received an expensive list of everything that was failing. I was told that both my front and back brakes were about to go out (haven't even had the car for a year), my tires were twelve years old and cracked, my arm rest was damaged and would cost almost eight hundred dollars to fix ...when I called CarMax to find out wtf was going on, they had me bring it in. Turns out basically none of that was true, my breaks were at a six (they had reported 2/32) and my tires were five years old. AND when Exclusively Imports "checked my brakes" they put them together incorrectly (thanks for that guys)! Turns out the $800 arm rest will be $150 to replace. I admit that I don't know anything about cars but that. I would have paid over two thousand dollars for bs repairs I didn't need. Do not trust these guys- especially during times like these when money is tight for a lot of people. read more

I own a 2007 Volvo S-60 with very low mileage and it still looks new. However over the years things begin to get old and damaged by the sun. I've tried to take the film off my headlights for years using all the specialty products to remove the film. One service call to Exclusive I asked if the shop could do something with my headlights they make the car look ugly. Sergio told me to replace will cost a lot but he can get them restored. for a fair price. I agreed to have him do it and the results made the car look like new again. I've been meaning to write this review for a while. If you need an honest mechanic this is the spot! I've been to exclusively imports a few times. They made a lifetime customer out of me. I was having some issues with my BMW 3 series drivetrain malfunction coming on and Sergio and Richard saved me thousands. I wasn't aware that my car had a sulev warranty of 150k miles on it. I have been here for oil changes and basic maintenance. But this time I knew it was something serious my car went into limp mode the engine just didn't sound right. They inspected it and let me know the bad news but also good news to follow. My timing chain was about to go out and I'm lucky it hasn't broken while driving because it could have ruined my engine. Richard let me know that my year is covered under this special warranty called sulev and that it should be covered. He even went out of his way to call Buena Park BMW and gave me a connection to set up an appointment to get my car checked. They could have easily not mentioned anything and made over 3000.00 on me to fix the issue. The BMW dealership confirmed what Richard and Sergio said and that my car would be covered under the sulev warranty. I was so happy and relieved. Sergio and Richard you have a lifetime customer. I come from a long line of Volvo's growing up - 240 Turbo Wagon, '94 960, '98 S90, and now I drive my coveted '95 850 T-5R (Mine is black, but Sergio has the even more coveted Yellow version, I'm jealous!) We've been coming to this location for our Volvos since way back when it was Scandia Volvo, and when they shut down, we were SO relieved that Sergio, being a Volvo Certified Master Technician, took up the mantle and brought this place back to life as Exclusively Imports! It's hard to find good mechanics, let alone great VOLVO mechanics, which Sergio and his team certainly are! Sergio has always taken meticulous care of the Volvos we've brought his way. He has always pinpointed the issue(s) and rectified them quickly and masterfully - and at a fair price. He is always on the ball with recommending preventative maintenance (always a good thing for Volvos), but also never pushy or forceful about it. He even has a full Genuine Volvo Parts Department in case you want to buy parts and do some DIY work! This is the only place I feel fully comfortable leaving my T-5R, because I know that the work is always performed at, or above Volvo's standards. Sergio and his team have also helped install quite a few upgrades that were slightly outside the normal Volvo OEM spec, yet he and his team made it fit, made it work, and made it great every single time! This Mecanic shop is The Godfather of Volvo . Sergio was able to diagnose the problem in my 2009 Volvo S80 within 3 minutes (insane) when my other Mechanics failed to help me to diagnose the real problem and coast me time and money by replacing unnecessary parts . I am very impressed by this elite Mecanic service starting from customer service to stocking parts that I needed to fix my Volvo how impressive is that so Sergio save me the time to pickup the parts from the dealership and my car was done within one and half hour (super fast ) . Sergio is my hero and he saved me a lot of time by having this service done on a Saturday when dealership is closed . I was able to keep working Uber in weekend without having to worry about the safety of myself or my customers or missing days at work .
