NEVER NEVER GO!! I would like to give 0 stars but that wasn't an option! We called the dealership about a pre owned vehicle they had listed online. Asked if it was available to test drive. They asked if we were could cone Down that afternoon to see it because there was a lot of interest in the vehicle. we said we had a tight schedule but would try to make it work. We drove from Newtown to north haven(45min) after moving a few other appointments that day. Upon arrival we were greeted very nicely by the receptionist and offered a beverage(average for all dealerships) and then were told to wait and they would bring the car around. After about 5 minutes the sales guy comes out and is asking questions about our plans for financing. I told him I didny have time to get into that type of conversation today because I was tight on time and I had one other vehicle I wanted to look at before I made my decision. He left again to talk supposedly bring the vehicle around for our test drive. A few minutes later he comes out and tells us the vehicle was not on the lot!! BTW this was the week of thanksgiving and traffic was horrible!! I ask to see the manager to express my disappointmen. Out comes a man that wanted to shake my hand. I dont shake hands this time of year for personal health issues. The man was offended by this and reprimanded me and said "the way civilized people act is by greeting each other and offering a handshake" I asked Him if this was standard business practice tell someone a car was on the lot that actually is not?? He still hasn't apologized for their mistake! Then he asked what he could do for me- I asked him if he was going to pay for the gas , wear and tear of my vehicle and wasting an hour and a half of my time??his reply, "miss, you want me to pay you 20 cents a mile?" Keep away from this dealer. They made promises they could not keep. I bought the car on their terms with no haggling and still have not received the touch up paint they promised me. There were larger promises made as well but I find it especially infuriating that they couldn't even get me the touch up paint I was promised. This place is bad news. I have had negative experience after negative experience here. To start off with, I bought my car in October 2012. I did a LOT of research and test drove a number of different vehicles at dealerships all around the I-91 corridor. I was looking for something similar to my Toyota Echo - compact, good mileage, basic features. I finally settled on the Nissan Versa hatchback and got an online quote from Executive. I made an appointment and stopped by. When I got there, no one was expecting me and I had to wait to see someone. I drove the car and then was quoted a price about $2k higher than the price I had been given online. The reason was because the car I was quoted online was NOT ACTUALLY AVAILABLE. I told her nevermind and got up to leave but she "went to speak with her manager" and came back with a price that was lower than the price I was quoted online -- but only if I signed on the dotted line that day. I needed the car and did honestly like it, so I put down a deposit. I came in a few days later to sign everything else and pick up the car. I read everything before I signed it and asked a number of questions (but, apparently, not the RIGHT questions). I drove off. I quickly realized that there was only one keyhole in my car - on the driver's side. Both the passenger side and the trunk did not have a keyhole. I called and was told that meant I had keyless entry... except I hadn't been given a key fob. In pressing the matter, I was told I would have to pay a diagnostic fee to see *if* my car already had keyless entry installed and an additional fee to install it plus another cost for the fob. I had to escalate to corporate to get this addressed. When I brought the car in for the diagnostic (which was now miraculously FREE) I was given a loaner car for the day, since they weren't sure how long they would need my car. I also escalated concerns about the mileage. I had been quoted a range for the mpg and found that I was getting an average of 10 mpg less than even the lowest range. I went into the dealership and was told that it was because of where I was driving, how I was driving, and the type of gas I used. When I explained that my 12 year old Toyota Echo was getting better mileage with the same route and same gas, they had no explanation for me. They spoke to me as if I was a child, not an educated adult who had been driving for more than half of my life. Then comes my first "free" oil change. I was given "free" oil changes for life with this car.... until I found out that you HAD to bring it in every quarter and there was always routine maintenance that had to be done, to the tune of $40-$200 PER VISIT. I stopped going and went back to my regular mechanic, where I get an average of 2 oil changes per year (I do not drive very far so it takes a long time to hit the mileage) and am only charged for work that absolutely needs to be done. Now I've had to bring my car back again -- at 44,000 miles my mechanic discovered a transmission fluid leak. Luckily, it's covered under warranty up to 60,000 miles. I called to schedule an appointment, asking how long it would take since I would need to arrange a ride to work or get a rental. They said a day or two at the most. I dropped it off on Monday night after hours and had to call them on Tuesday afternoon to see if it had been looked at yet (it hadn't). On Tuesday afternoon when I finally heard back, they said they'd need it til at least Wednesday, if not Thursday. I reiterated the need for a rental or to set up rides since I commute from Wallingford to Hartford every day. I did not hear back on Wednesday and had to again call THEM on Thursday afternoon (the day my rental was due back), only to find out they needed it for one more day. This "maybe one-day job" has turned into a four day job and cost me $120 for my rental. I asked for them to pay for my rental and they said only the extended warranty covers that... No one EVER told me that they wouldn't give me a loaner or cover a rental for WARRANTY REPAIRS. The repairs are free, Nissan's mistake, but I'm SOL for wanting to be able to get to work in the morning. I will never, ever buy another Nissan and will never purchase another car from Executive. The misdirection, lack of full disclosure, and attitudes are unprofessional and embarrassing. There was no apology for not keeping me updated with the status of my car or for the inconvenience of having to pay for a rental out of pocket for repairs that were not my fault in any way, shape, or form. read more

I was lured to this dealership by an ad staying they had a Jeep with 11 miles for an intriguing price. My husband and I went to the facility to inspect and test drive the vehicle. After sitting down with the salesperson to go over particulars, we were not told that the vehicle had suddenly accumulated 1,089 miles! Now, mind you, we had been in contact with the salesperson the day prior to visiting the dealership. We also communicated with the salesperson the day of our arrival and not a word was mentioned about the extra miles. Btw the price was also not adjusted despite the extra miles. Suffice it to say, I have contacted various government agencies to report the unscrupulous bait and switch practices of Executive Auto/Executive Nissan in North Haven, CT. read more

Have leased and bought cars here. The sales dept has not been an issue, its the service department.Been coming here for years servicing cars but am now second guessing it. Just went for routine lube and oil check. Sales team said I need new oil plug, a filter soon, and really need new battery. Called AAA who replaced my battery less than 3 yrs ago. They came to test battery and said it is functioning extremely well, and actually over the optimum expected for the age of battery. Saw the gage myself to verify. Do not trust this service department now. Everyone needs to second guess and actually see what the department is recommending. Do your due diligence. Maybe because I am a woman, and don't know much about cars? Don't want to play that card but seriously? They must work on commission here and upcharge their clients. I will now have to seriously consider an alternative for car service repairs. I need two bulbs replaced front console they are ordering for me with a $30 charge. Bulbs most likely cost $1 combined. Wish I could repair myself! Think twice before agreeing to any service from this business. read more

When taking delivery of my 2014 Acura MDX SH-AWD TECH Package, I immediately noticed the dealership scratched the front of the steering wheel and rear steering column. The sales manager assured me that he would order replacement parts so these will be replaced and the vehicle would be back to brand new condition, since this was a brand new car purchase. Unfortunately, service only repaired these items and only replaced the steering column cover. The scratches are still present on the front and the dealership's General Manager told me that I am stuck with the vehicle the way it is because he finds it acceptable and that there is nothing further that they can do about it. I've also had electrical problems with the vehicle and the dealership and Acura have not been able to fix the problem because Acura does not have a fix yet for when safety system warning lights come on either after electrical components are replaced or when there is cold weather. I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone because of how they have treated me. They do not know the meaning of good customer service and how to hold themselves accountable for false promises made when selling a brand new vehicle. read more

Had a very negative experience with this dealership. After we'd agreed on a deal and a price for a vehicle, we signed a contract. When we went to sign the final paperwork we learned that they altered the original contract AFTER we'd already signed it - by changing the deal and increasing the price. Even worse was that when we questioned the discrepancy they refused to take responsibility for the 'mistake' and would not honor the price that was originally negotiated. In addition, the manager was disrespectful, implying that we were ill-intentioned, and trying to take advantage of them by insisting they honor the original deal. In the end, we walked out. Despite a phone call a few minutes later offering a half-hearted apology and conceding to the original deal, we declined. We do not want this kind of an operation to be supported by our money, and will take our business elsewhere. read more

I have been in touch executive auto group. It has taken a few weeks to collect myself after dealing with executive auto group. I had become extremely flustered. After two visits to have repairs completed, the repairs were less than acceptable. I will have to spend additional money to have the repairs completed. I received several emails explaining that they value each and every customer, and they would like the opportunity to talk to me yet again. But the first go-around they said they could not verity my claim that the jeep did not have the problem goin in-- and this is a service department. After a run around of emails and phone calls, I realized that they win. I am tired of the back and forth. read more

I just recently took my Jeep in for an oil change. This was the second time I have been there for an oil change. I knew that my jeep uses synthetic oil but the price was higher than the first time. My first oil change was $38.55 before taxes and this time it was $67.88 before taxes. I didn't realize the huge price difference until I was looking over my services on their app. I emailed the service manager to inquire why there was such a difference in visits. He was quick to respond and say that the first time was a synthetic blend and this time was a full synthetic blend. He offered to put a credit on my account for the next time if I did not authorize a full synthetic to be used. I feel like this service advisor was looking to stick it to the customer. If you don't know that it's ok to use a blend, you may be in the wrong line of work. I don't think I will be back because I feel like I will constantly be checking up on the price I am being charged. Let me start by saying I had the worst experience at this place. First of all I had a trade in which I still owe money on. So basically I wanted to trade that car in for a new one. I fisrt contacted them thru the internet and explain to them my situation. The next day they called me and said the can try to do something for me. When I went to the dealer they try to get me a deal in which I didnt have to end up paying so much money every month. Well they couldn't do anything. I was fine with that. Went to another dealer where they helped me to bring down the monthly payment and all that , as I was waiting for this dealer to let me know the final monthly payment. Which was way better than the executive jeep of North haven offer. Gary (internet sales manageer) contacted me again, I told him I had a good deal somewhere else and he said he can give me a better deal and gave me a set price monthly payment and downpayment. I was happy with that and said go head. Lets do it . When I arrived to the dealer they made me sign the purchase order and told me to come back the next day to finish up everything. Well next day they called me and told me they were wrong about those number and told me my monthly payments needed it to be 150 dollars more than what they told me before. They lied to me and made waste my time and gas driving to the dealer knowing I was not going to get a good deal. But its my own fault for trusting dealers knowing that what they do is scam people left and right. And I know its not their fault I can not afford 550 monthly but they should of tell me it was impossible and not waste my time. I work in a place where lots of people go and talk to me about everything and im damn sure I would never recommend this place and would talk about my bad experience. read more

I went to the dealership for routine maintenance - oil change and tire rotation. The Express Late Night hours on Thursday evenings made it extremely convenient. The service was quick, my Service Advisor was informative but not high pressure and I was on my way in no time. Best of all, my vehicle was serviced by professionals which have years of experience with Nissans and the price was very reasonable. read more

Brought my Jeep to the service dept for an oil change. The very next day my power steering started making a whining noise as I drove home from work. Drove to Pep Boys because it was close and a mechanic came out and check the fluid level and it was completely dry. I told him I had just been to the dealer the day before where they were suppose to change the oil and filter and check/ top off fluid levels. So he took my car in and discovered the drain plug/screw (whatever) for the power steering fluid was loosened so all my fluid had drained out. Might I add, he did that and didn't charge me. I called Executive and left a message for the service manager to call me back and heard nothing. I even got one of their follow-up calls that they do to see how your rate their service and I gave the girl an earful and she told me the manager would call me....nothing. I have been buying my cars there for over 20 years, I haven't been back since this incident. Thanks Executive for ruining my power steering, It still whines even though it has fluid and I'll probably have to replace it. read more

I purchased a 2014 jeep Cherokee in July for Executive jeep in North Haven. I picked the car up on a thursday. On saturday while driving to vacation my Climate/audio display goes out. I had 400 miles on the car. When I called the dealer ship their reply was "I guess it's broken"! I could not see any of the climate control settings or radio settings. When I got back to town I took it in. They ordered a new display. It took 3 months, because they forgot to call me to say the part was in. Now since than the Sirius radio does not work. I can't get anyone to call me back. I've tried to email, same no one replies. I go to the dealership I get lip service. They say some one will call me. I leave voice messages because no one picks their phone up. Still nothing. When I went to the dealer for service the service person said If I want Sirius radio I have to subscribe to it, even though I had the paper work for 12 months. I only had use of it for 5 months. There are plenty of other dealerships in the area. If you want to be treated with respect and not ripped off go to them. I will! read more
