This was my first time hiring professional movers, and I was a bit hesitant because of the costs, but we were moving furniture from two places to our new home, and needed assistance. I was actually looking to hire a different moving company, but somehow, I must have clicked for Yelp to send a message to all similar moving companies in the area and thank goodness that all worked out, because I ended up getting a phone call from Executive Moving Systems and booking with them since they were available at the day/time we needed and we felt comfortable with the pricing. I was super impressed with our movers-there were three guys (need to find the folder they gave us with their names), and they worked hard, moved fast, and were super-efficient and super careful. They wrapped and protected all of our items and furniture and brought everything needed for that. We even had them make two stops picking up furniture from two places, and they were super-fast-they weren't taking their sweet time. They also brought over a huge moving truck so we didn't have to worry about all. our things fitting. I was a bit worried since we were moving into a brand new 3-story home, and they were super careful with everything-they did not leave a mark at all on the floors or walls. They even build your furniture for you when they bring it to your new place. When it came to charging us, they even suggested we get the Yelp deal to get a discount, which we had not even thought about. Wow these guys are amazing. I had to move from Las Vegas Nevada to Newport Beach CA. My wife and I spent about at day or so just packing all of our stuff. We thought we would be finished in time before the movers arrived but we didn't. The movers came in and helped us finish packing the collectables wrapping them in bubble wrap, taping and boxing them up delicately and loaded the truck up. After loading, (which only took about 1hour which was amazing because of all the stuff we had) they were on the road. We were officially on our way to California!! When the moving truck arrived they started to unload and unpack. They were great. They put everything where we wanted it, my grandfathers clock that was in my family for years. Moving homes is very challenging. Period. We had a great experience with Executive Moving but if you want to have a good moving experience you need to really understand the process and do as much as you can to communicate with the movers and make sure you know what is going on. It is also important who your lead driver is, if you are using Executive in Southern California I would ask for Victor L he is a fantastic lead driver/mover and he will communicate with you personally about your move and all the logistics and this will help you to avoid some of the horrible experiences that people have using van lines.
