Just finished my first 3 months at Exhilarate Performance Center working with Personal Trainer Adam To who is amazing. Im 54 years old and not in good shape and needed someone who can help create a program that pushes me yet keeps me safe from injuring myself. Adam customizes my work outs to my skill level, which is beginning, and makes sure Im doing things safely and learning good form. I already feel stronger and proud of what I've accomplished so far. The private gym is very clean, equipment is quality, the air is chilly and the music keeps the heart pumping. Both Adam and Zack work their clients with a positive and supportive energy. A gym can be an intimidating place for an older, non-athletic woman who has had back, knee and feet issues and is overweight. This gym and these trainers treat people with respect and everyone leaves sweaty and smiling.

Wow! Exhilarate Performance Center has transformed my whole life! I gym a lot but did the same exercises over and over. I had a consult with Adam and he proposed a comprehensive program catered to my needs. I wanted to gain muscle mass along with functional power. Coach Adam put me on a strict diet and regimen! In about one year, I transformed my body completely. He introduced compound movements and specifically targeted weak areas that I needed to improve on. I am so happy with my new body, and feel so much more confident. Thank you Coach Adam & Coach Zack for the amazing help in my fitness journey. In one year, I transformed more than 10 years of gymming by myself. The facility is squeaky clean, and the staff are very attentive. The coaches want you to win, but you gotta keep yourself accountable. Coach Adam answers all my questions and is very thorough in his techniques. Overall the BEST gym I have been to, and the ONLY one I need. Sign up now, you will not regret it!

After putting strength training on hiatus for a few years, I decided to get back into it with Adam's help. I've only seen Adam for a few months, yet I've already noticed a difference in my strength and overall physical health. Adam is very professional and knowledgeable on how to cater each person's workouts to meet their goals, whether it is strength, endurance, agility, mobility, etc. I love that EPC offers a wide array of workout equipment and that Adam keeps the entire space clean and organized. EPC also has water, coffee, and snacks for all clients. Adam also plays good music and makes sure to provide cool air flow in the entire space. If you want to start a healthy workout journey, I highly recommend giving Adam at EPC a try!

Before and after - 1.5 years with EPC

Whatever you are looking for in your fitness journey, do it with Exhilarate Performance Center. I can't recommend Adam, Zack, and the whole EPC team enough. I came to Adam in late 2021 after working out casually on my own for a few years. I was looking to take things to the next level with the distant goal of eventually competing in an amateur Men's Physique competition. Adam created a workout and nutrition program for me that exponentially increased my results beyond anything I had achieved just on my own. A little more than a year and a half later, I successfully competed in my first Men's Physique show. Working with Adam and the EPC team has been a huge benefit to me heath-wise and beyond. The environment they have created in the gym is a warm, friendly, supportive community that will have you looking forward to your next session. No matter what your fitness goals are, the EPC team will get you there, and you will enjoy every step of the journey.

Adam is amazing! I usually haaaaaate paying for Trainers because I rarely find one that focuses on form and technique intended for my body, my physical history and current needs. From Day1 he's always catered and has been incredibly informative about nutritional plans. Not to mention he's chill to talk to hahaha In 6 months I lost 22lbs and still planning to lose more. I see him 2-3x a week. His regiment makes it easy for me to be able to still juggle work, play, and a diet plan. Lots of friends & family have taken notice. I HIIIGHLY recommend.

The workouts are tough, efficient, and never feel like they're wasting your time. Somehow they've managed to make the stairmaster slightly less terrible, which may be their greatest accomplishment. The coaches are great, the studio is beautiful, and everyone is friendly. I appreciate that the focus is on getting stronger and seeing real results, not just leaving drenched in sweat. My legs and glutes hate me after class. Five stars.

My friend Sara and I politely asked if we could be next to each other if the spot was available. She immediately responded, "No." I asked why, and she replied, "Because I said no. You're on spot 4." When I asked again, since the spot was open, she told me members get priority and that I was a ClassPass user. I responded that I am still a paying customer and that ClassPass guests should not be treated as though they are less valued. I chose not to argue further and simply walked into class. Once inside, I saw that nearly every spot--including the one next to my friend--was still open. I quietly asked the instructor if it would be okay for us to stand next to each other. Before the instructor could even respond, the front desk employee walked into the room, came up behind me, and yelled in front of the entire class, "You're not moving! Or you can leave!" I was embarrassed and shocked by how I was spoken to. This is not the first time I have experienced disrespect from this employee, and every interaction I've had with her has made me feel unwelcome. Regardless of whether someone books directly through the studio or through ClassPass, every paying customer deserves to be treated with respect. Because of this repeated behavior, I will not be returning to this studio.

The pool is useless if you are serious swimmer. Frequently 90°, I'm overheating after 300 yards. This pool is for geriatrics and kids. Also for their pool parties but not for real swimmers. Workout area is great, lots of racks. I hate the lighting though. The ceiling is covered in outdoor parking lights. I don't think it bothers anyone else but it's offensive to me. I wish there were designated stretching areas but you can stretch in front of your rack if that's where you are working out otherwise you just have to find a space. The locker room is bad, too crowded. Not enough lockers. Not enough toilets. The sauna - horrible. It only holds 8 people at a time, the steam room is even worse 5, if that. The showers are decent, plenty of room to do what you need to do. I've only done cycle classes, they are basically HITT workouts high RPM, High heart rate, but only 45 minutes. There as a recovery area where there are massage chairs, Normatec goodies for use and hyperice massage guns....and vibration plates. Very nice! Is it worth it. I'm still a member so yes, but it could improve.

The facility itself is beautiful, upscale, and consistently clean, with thoughtful amenities like Kiehl's products in the locker rooms that make the experience feel elevated. What really makes this gym stand out, though, are the amazing instructors. Cory for spin, Mariah for mat Pilates, and Haly, Isaiah, and Carmen for Alpha are some of my favorites. Last year, around May 2025, they introduced CTR, a reformer-based Pilates class that was a total game changer for me. I no longer needed to go to a separate Pilates studio. Rob and KO helped build the program, and they were both spectacular. Rob is rarely there now, and KO recently left the gym. In my opinion, Anisa Diaz is an exceptional CTR instructor. Honestly, she's great in every class I've taken with her, including spin and mat Pilates. No two CTR classes with her are ever the same. She's incredibly knowledgeable about the human body, has excellent flow, and every movement feels intentional and challenging in the best way. She consistently brings fresh ideas and new challenges that keep the classes engaging and fun. She truly elevated the entire experience. However, over the past few months, some of her classes have been cut, and I feel the CTR program has started to feel lacking and subpar. Because of that, I've found myself returning to private Pilates studios like Drenched OC, Anodetome, Sol, and Jetset Pilates, which are all fantastic if you're considering a private studio experience. At this point, I mainly take CTR at Life Time only when Anisa is teaching. Overall, I'm still very happy with Life Time. I just wish they would bring more energy -- and Anisa -- back to CTR.

The new shower products are an upgrade from the old ones. The reason my rating is low; The main issue I have here is that I frequently see people taking selfies in the locker room. I used to complain about it, but management doesn't seem to do anything. I get an email that it's serious or a phone call and I appreciate it, but nothing seems to happen. Just today, I went through the locker room to go to the party that the gym was having, and I saw a girl taking selfies in the locker room. Other women were changing there, so it wasn't like she was all alone. It's super easy to get photos of people changing in the background. I have easily seen people taking selfies in the locker room at least a dozen of times in the last couple years. We change there. We don't have our clothes on. Why is it okay to take a photo? Even if you aren't intending to photograph others, which most people aren't, people can easily show up in the background. It makes me so uncomfortable. I avoid changing in the locker room now, or if I do, I try to hide in the back. Changing in the bathroom stalls isn't easy because things can fall into the toilet and changing in the shower is wet and the showers sometimes get crowded. It has decreased how much I value this gym, and I am hesitant to recommend it to others. I pay a lot for the gym and amenities, but if I have to constantly look over my shoulder, it ruins the experience. And when I do shower here, I have to bring clothes I can immediately change into in the shower to minimize walking around undressed in case someone decides to take a selfie and I happen to be in the reflection in the mirror. This also limits my ability to do stuff in the locker room like put lotion on. If I complain, I feel l get labeled as a "Karen". Staff doesn't seem to care. People get upset if you talk to them, and I shouldn't have to. I get emails from management that they take this seriously, but if they did they could at least put prominent signs on the mirrors in the locker rooms or have staff members remind women in the locker room not to take photos.

I've been to just about every 24 Hour Fitness around Orange County over the years -- South Coast, Fountain Valley, Irvine, Santa Ana, MainPlace, Bristol, Huntington Beach, and more -- and this location has ended up being the one I consistently come back to. The biggest reason is honestly the convenience and the community. It's only a few minutes from my house, I know a lot of the regulars and staff, and after this many years it starts to feel more like a familiar routine than just another gym. Brandon and the management team have always been good, and the staff overall does a solid job keeping things moving. The remodel definitely improved the gym and made the layout more user-friendly. Equipment access feels better than it used to, and overall it's cleaner and more functional than a lot of other big box gyms in the area. That said, I do think they could have taken the renovation further. Adding recovery-focused amenities like red light therapy, cold plunges, or upgraded wellness features would have made a huge difference and helped modernize the experience. I'm also not thrilled that towels disappeared while membership prices somehow continue going up year after year. I've been a member for a very long time, and it does get frustrating watching the price steadily increase without really feeling like long-term members get much back in return. Still, for the price point, it's honestly a pretty good gym. It's not an ultra-luxury executive fitness club, but you generally get solid value for what you pay for. Good equipment selection, decent atmosphere, familiar faces, and overall a reliable place to train consistently.
