jalapeno cheddar bagel and scallion cream cheese
    Anushka M.

We were looking for a bagel spot and Exodus showed up highly rated and was nearby so we checked it out. They have a good variety on the menu, while sticking to some classics as well. I tried their jalapeño cheddar bagel with scallion cream cheese and an iced hazelnut latte. The bagel was toasted and delicious, and I loved the cream cheese it came with. Also love that they keep the cream cheese separate so you can control how much to add to your bagel. It reminded me of the way pop up bagel in NYC is served. It was delicious and I would definitely come back! My latte was great too, and the employees were so friendly and gave goo recommendations as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's only an order window located in a smaller alley, but we got lucky and was able to park in one of the 2 spots available right next to their window.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I'm always looking for some new bagel spots to try & have been meaning to try Exodus Bagels for a while now! I was able to try their bagels over the weekend and I think I'm gonna have to go every week! The bagels were fabulous. We ordered 3 bagel sandwiches & 1 bagel w/ cream cheese to go. My personal favorite was the Lox Classic. It is probably the best lox bagel sandwich that I've had in MA, by far. It had the perfect amount of cream cheese to lox ratio... and the bagel! It was perfectly chewy and each bite was just amazing. The Listos bagels were also very good! It was basically an egg and cheese bagel, with option to add bacon + other ingredients. The garlic spread was chef's kiss, so good! I really liked that they give you the option to order ahead of time via online. Many bagel spots around here don't do that and oftentimes just sell out in the early morning. I will definitely be coming back for more bagels in the future 10/10! Parking: this area is honestly super hard to find parking but there are spots around further away. ***They automatically charge a 13% administrative fee for each order***

They are open! Don't despair, they are working from an Airstream trailer on the backside of their store so go around the corner, down the alley and you'll see the trailer. They are remodeling their space inside and the co-owner Adam is out back making it work! I had a Jalapeño Cheddar bagel with Sriracha cream cheese. It was sooooo good!

Absolutely delicious bagel. Got the Betty's sandwich with an "everywhere" bagel. Will be dreaming about it till we come back to Boston!

The bagels are pretty good for Boston but compared to NJ/NY they aren't memorable. I really want to like this but unfortunately a few things are stopping this from being 5 stars. 1) it's about an hour wait from when you order, so always order online as that's how majority of their orders come in. 2) My sandwich order was wrong and missing 3 items I paid extra to have on there. It definitely needed salt and pepper, but that's just my preference as I do not like unseasoned eggs. 3) The pate was the most disappointing part and made me and my friend gag. It also had a hard texture and was crumbly instead of spreadable. I highly recommend not ordering it. There was something extremely off about it

exodus bagels are delicious. they are on the smaller side so be warned. this place is a staple for me and i really love the everywhere bagel and the different sandwiches they have. parking is a little tough in the area but i tend to just park a little further and walk - it's worth it!!

Salt bagel with cream cheese and bacon

Hands down, the *best* bagel I've ever had in my life. Seriously, I didn't think bagels could be this good until I tried Exodus Bagels. I'm still dreaming about the perfectly chewy, yet tender texture and the insane flavor. If you're in Boston and love bagels, this is a must-try. First, let me set the scene. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Exodus Bagels is tucked away in an alley, so don't expect a fancy storefront. It's definitely more of a hidden gem vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's no dine-in option, so you'll be grabbing your bagels to go, which honestly adds to the charm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You're literally picking up your bagels from a place that feels like a well-kept secret. Now, onto the bagels. They are legit next level. I went with a classic - salt bagel with cream cheese and deliciously thick cut bacon - and was completely blown away. The bagel was fresh, warm, and had that perfect golden crust on the outside with a chewy, flavorful interior. The seasoning was on point - not too salty. The cream cheese was so creamy, and the portion was generous without being over-the-top. I also tried their lox bagel and wow. The lox was fresh, melt-in-your-mouth quality, and they added just the right amount of toppings: capers, pickled red onion, and a bit of dill. Every bite was balanced, and the bagel held up the whole time without getting soggy - a true testament to how well-made it was. But beyond the food, what I really love about Exodus is the energy. Even though it's takeout-only, the staff is super friendly and helpful. You can tell they're passionate about what they do, and it shows in the quality of their bagels. A couple of things to keep in mind: It's popular, so there can be a bit of a wait, especially on weekends, but it's totally worth it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And since there's no seating, you'll have to find a spot nearby to enjoy your bagel (which honestly makes it a great grab-and-go breakfast if you're exploring the city).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're a bagel lover or just appreciate great food in general, do yourself a favor and check out Exodus Bagels. You'll thank yourself later!

What a hidden gem! Exodus Bagels is tucked at the end of a dead end road and has the cutest little order and pickup window. They have a great menu with options ranging from breakfast sandwiches to lunch options to bagels by the dozen. Also - love the coffee from Tandem in Portland, ME :) I ordered a sausage egg and cheese on a sesame bagel - the bagel was light and crispy and the sausage was very tasty - lots of spiced flavor. My husband got the Monumental, which was very yummy as well - and messy! The service was friendly and they were able to get our order out without too much of a wait. Be aware that there are no restrooms or much of a seating area. There are a few outdoor chairs, but today was rainy so we just took the food to go. Also heads up that there is a 13% "admin fee" added to every order so they can pay their employees fair wages. I fully support fair wages...and I also support transparent pricing. There were numerous signs about this fee, so I was aware before paying. However, why not just charge more for menu items?? It's not very upfront and as a customer I'd rather just see transparent pricing so I know what I'm paying instead of trying to calculate the 13% in my head. In all, would definitely come back!

Lesson learned: DON'T ORDER CLOSE TO CLOSING TIME. They probably were dying to end their shift so they sent us a cold pie. DISAPPOINTED. The pizza is good but if I return, it will be for a slice, only! I'll keep looking for the right place to order delivery from.

Well, i haven't been back to those other stores for much of anything since xD The prices are higher than you can see at a box store, but really **not significantly** if you are usually shopping organic / small batch / local products, and their selection in that regard is pretty stellar. It reminds me of what WF used to be back in the day, just much, much smaller. I have bought so many things there I never would have found elsewhere that have become staples. Pita bread, ice cream, breakfast meats, teas, chocolate, milk (of course), (surprisingly) great canned foods, marshmallows, niche snacks, APPLES, fair trade bananas that are the best I've had. The list goes on and on. Clearly they aren't impacted by the deli related reviews, and I'm so glad for it. I hope they keep on doing their thing forever.

The complex that Ula is in is super cute, there is typically plenty of parking. It's also right on the orange line, so there is easy access. Ample indoor and outdoor seating made getting a table a breeze. We ordered an iced coffee, iced latte, vegan burrito, and an Amort St sandwich. The Amory was really yummy, my partner enjoyed it. The coffees were pretty run-of-the-mill, nothing to write home about. The flavor in the latte was pretty weak. I added caramel to it as well, but it just tasted like milk; it's nice if the espresso taste or caramel flavor shines through, but it didn't deliver here. Fiore's and Third Cliff are still my go-to's for a good latte. While we waited for the burrito to come out, the chef came and told us he didn't have the necessary ingredients. He offered great replacements and made recommendations. He was super kind and honestly made our experience much better. Give that person a raise! Overall, good experience! Food was really good. It came with a small side salad, though I think serving two eggs instead would have made it a better value. The sliders were a pleasant surprise. The beef was clearly high quality, and they were the perfect size if you want to enjoy a great burger without committing to a full one. To finish, we shared the deep-fried Mars bar, and it was absolutely delicious. It's definitely a rich dessert, so it's perfect for sharing between two people. I personally would have preferred it with vanilla ice cream instead of whipped cream, but it was still a great way to end the meal. We returned hoping we would have the same positive experience as the day before. When we approached the register, two employees were standing together talking. We stood directly in front of the register for about five minutes, waiting to place our order. During that time, neither employee greeted us, acknowledged our presence, or said something as simple as, "We'll be right with you." The older employee remained leaned over the counter, continuing her conversation while casually writing on the countertop instead of acknowledging us or taking our order. The younger employee looked in our direction several times, and it appeared she wanted to help us, but the conversation continued. After waiting several minutes without any acknowledgment, we decided to leave. As we were walking out, a white customer entered the bakery and was enthusiastically welcomed by the older employee with a cheerful, "Hello, welcome." That contrast was upsetting and made us feel overlooked and unwelcome. While I cannot know the employees' intentions, the difference in how we were treated left us questioning whether race played a role in our experience. It was especially disappointing because we had enjoyed our visit the day before and returned expecting the same welcoming atmosphere. No customer should feel invisible when entering a business. A simple greeting or acknowledgment would have made all the difference. I hope you will take this complaint seriously, review what occurred, and remind your staff of the importance of treating every customer with the same level of courtesy, respect, and professionalism.
