Pros: * Thai Tea is amazing! This was the saving grace * Okay food; I had Walnut shrimp and it was okay. Good the first bite or two, but I ended up not finishing it. The noodles were not very good * Plenty of seating inside * Very nice service Cons: * Nothing was bad, everything was just okay Extra: * Plenty of parking * Call ahead, hours do change.

I wanted to try somewhere new and quick and didn't feel like Panda , so I found this on Google . The reviews seemed pretty good and not far from me . I was looking to get a combo plate , but she said they only sell full portions . I got an order of the General Tso's Chicken and Fried Rice . I wanted to try the Kung Pao Chicken too , but oh well . The order came pretty quick and I got it to go . The place looked clean and they had a couple customers sitting at the dining room . The General Tso's was just ok , nothing to brag about . I did like that they put a couple pieces of pineapple in theirs , some places don't . The peppers were fresh and crispy . The Fried Rice was a let down . It was dark like it had a lot of flavoring , but it was just plain tasting and didn't taste very fresh . It was sticky and a little dried out like it had been out for a while . Not really impressed with this place , so I don't think I will return .

I was skeptical about trying this restaurant due to the signage out front. I am glad I tried, and the food was delicious. I got the Imperial combination, and it came with steak, chicken, shrimp hibachi, a large container of rice, a salad with ginger dressing, and soup for $18. The establishment has signage around stating that their menu prices have changed due to inflation which was nice to see that they let you know before you order that the prices are not reflective of the current cost. I gave four stars instead of five because of food safety. The young lady that took my order was on the phone, and then she continued to be on the phone while she was preparing my food

This place has very poor customer service skills the lady taking the orders got really irate started yelling in the establishment because I asked if they were washing their hands she started really cutting up in there and refunding my money without me even asking to get a refund she started yelling and shouting being really disrespectful they were in there scratching in their heads and had a problem with washing her hands so I end up getting my money back and going somewhere else the floors was dirty the door where you enter in was really nasty like they hadn't cleaned it in quite a while

#31 NY Steak and Shrimp. Amazing!!!

Hibachi without the Benihana prices!! We thought it was too good to be true, but it wasn't. Stopped in for lunch at noon on a Thursday and the place was busy but we didn't wait long for our meals to be prepared using fresh ingredients. I ordered the #31 which was NY Steak and Shrimp. The meal was served with salad, soup and excellent fried rice and fresh cut vegetables. We watched as they prepared our meal, fast and fresh. They offer a bunch of Hibachi options as well as things like, beef and Broccoli, orange chicken or kung pao chicken! We will definitely be back. Service was super friendly! They are located close to the Fat Greek.

Well this is another establishment that seemed to pop up out of nowhere. The bright lettering of the restaurant drew me in. The interior looked clean and fairly new. The menu had your standard chinese fare. I ordered a chicken dish and a soup to go. To my surprise the food was ready LIGHTNING quick. They seemed to take the time to pack the items with care and with utensils and soy sauce. The soup was very good, however the chicken dish was not. The chicken tasted like fish and simply did not taste good. I enjoy trying new spots so all was not lost, but im certain other places will take the lead when i decide to order out again. Give it a chance & see what you think ......

The egg sando was creamy and perfectly salted and reminded us of the ones we had in Japan. The shrimp was our favorite hands down since the crispy shrimp patty was lightly breaded and each bite was full of delicious shrimp. We chose to enjoy our lunch in the lounge area at the rear of the restaurant and were impressed with the beautiful decor. The walls were painted or wallpapered with beautiful scenes of Japanese geisha and scenery and the ceilings were covered with flowers. They had a sign advertising they have karoke from Thursdays to Sundays, so we plan on bringing friends for karaoke night for sure! Looking forward to returning the rest of the sandwiches! When I first arrived on a weekday morning, I was relieved to see that the line wasn't too bad, maybe because we arrived close to opening time. (But when I left, it was long. Like out-the-door long.) It was fairly quick to place an order, but surprisingly, they were already out of the veggie sandos, even though they just opened. Didn't know those were so popular? We ordered four items, but the cashier forgot to ring up one. No biggie, but we had to notify her, which she then had to create a separate ticket for (relevant later). It was also easy to find seating, as they have a dining room tucked in the back of the restaurant. Lots more space, and the vibes are pretty cool with the murals and cherry blossoms, too. Also, it's air-conditioned. I try to be as understanding and patient as possible when restaurants have a bit of a delay in serving their food. But after the 45-minute mark, I was a bit displeased. The two girls who ordered right before us already received their food, ate, and left. So we waited some more. I hope that this isn't the norm. And as I looked around the restaurant, everyone else was fiddling with their thumbs waiting, too! No one was eating. And at long last, some of our food finally came out. And to be honest, everything was really good and flavorful! My favorite was the chicken katsu sando, which was thick and crispy. Another fan favorite was the shrimp sando, which was like a shrimp patty of sorts. The egg was also pretty solid, but maybe a little mayo-heavy for my tastes. The final item we ordered, the rice bowl, came out later than the rest, as it was the ticket that got separated from the others. Again, not a huge deal, but not ideal for my dad, whose stomach was growling as he waited. Fortunately, he did enjoy his food. But overall, I had a rather mixed experience at GYU. I think the food is pretty solid, and the ambiance is nice, but the service has some room for improvement. Maybe ordering takeout here is the move.

We didn't really look into it, but saw that they had udon which my son loves. Everything was delicious and freshly made. I kept telling my husband, "This place is legit!" From the Japanese chefs and kind waitress, to the music, and, of course, the food. The ohitashi was a nice start with just the right amount of dashi to bring out the flavors of the veggies. I had the kimchi udon hot pot which comes with pork. I thought it was going to be slices of pork, but it was actually chashu that you would find in ramen! The chashu was tender and the broth was amazing. When I say amazing, it wasn't overly salty where it makes you feel bloated afterwards. My husband enjoyed his salmon avocado poke bowl as well. The kids had kake udon and a beef bowl, which they devoured. Glad we found this place!

Our waitress and waiter were both very nice. Service is great here. I have no complaints regarding that! I started by ordering their Hot Tea Pot in the Genmaicha Tea, which is refillable ($3). The tea was good. I must've had it refilled about three times. The husband got the Asahi draft. For the food orders, we started with the cholegi salad, takoyaki, and chicken karaage. While the cholegi salad was good, I'd have to say I've had better chicken karaage elsewhere. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to skip the chicken karaage next time. It was lacking in flavor so I asked for table salt to sprinkle on top of it. For the main dish, our party ordered beef sukiyaki udon, tendon, tuna and avocado poke don, nabeyaki udon, and kake udon. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. For dessert, we got everything that was on the menu so that we could sample them. I particularly enjoyed their matcha pudding in that it was more than what the picture showed. There were layers of azuki beans and black sugar syrup underneath the green pudding. This one was my favorite! The sweet potato ice cream was the party's favorite. Overall, I really like the vibe of this restaurant. I'll be back again to try other things on the menu that I didn't get to try this time.

We got the Pork Hire Katsu set and the katsu was just tender, juicy and so unctuous with a crunchy panko breading. The sauce was a bit tangier than I'm used to, but still went well with the dish. I also loved that the rice was not dry--some places just serve you rice that's gone hard and cold, and it's not very enjoyable. One of the most notable things was that they also give you a suribachi and surikogi (Japanese mortar and pestle) to grind up your own roasted sesame seeds for the katsu sauce. We've gone to several katsu places and it's been a while since we've gone to one where they offer this. I think it completes the whole katsu experience! When I asked our waitress about it, she said the kitchen was backed up. However, after waiting more than 30 minutes and already finishing the rest of our meal, it felt like the order may have simply been forgotten. What disappointed me most was the lack of an apology. The waitress even asked if I still wanted the mussels at that point. I was ready to cancel the order, but Kyo stepped in and tried to make things right. Thanks to his efforts, the mussels arrived about 10 minutes later. Unfortunately, when the mussels finally arrived, I was disappointed again. They were prepared very differently from the baked green mussels I'm used to getting at restaurants in Los Angeles. They were quite spicy, which wasn't mentioned, and the flavor just wasn't what I expected. After waiting more than 40 minutes for them, they definitely weren't worth the wait. Overall, the food was decent, and the restaurant was busy and energetic, but the service mishap and the disappointing mussels left me with mixed feelings about the experience. I do appreciate Kyo's effort to make things right, as he was the one bright spot in an otherwise frustrating situation.
