Beware - Extra Space Storage will extort you! They admitted to me that their policy is to offer a low introductory rate & then raise your price 10% every 6 months thereafter. They count on the fact that you won't want to move once you are in.... I wish I'd known this before I rented from them. Avoid the blackmail, put your stuff somewhere else! read more

Go somewhere else!!! There prices are so high and their payment policy isn't very friendly. They don't accept partial payment so if you are behind and just want to pay what you can, then forget about it. They only accept full payment, no exceptions. read more

This review is for that dude I ran into today..Been using their storage services for at least 2 years..I come here all the time for my collectibles, and when I'm shipping items..my storage is at of a size, 12x12 and loaded with boxes from wall to wall, floor to ceiling..it was 1200 pm, DAYLIGHT..i came through the gate..parked my car..usually I start doing my work but at times when I'm tired I take a nap in my car to catch up with my energy..I just worked night shift, so it's expected that I'll be sleepy around this time..the staff who work here I know their faces, they're chill, but this time there's a new dude at daytime who just knocked on my car and told me straight up "you can't sleep in here, do you have a storage here? " I'm like wtf!! Umm yes, Yes I was taking a nap, because I was tired and just got out of a night shift work..I basically told him that...I've never had anybody tell me that ever "you can't sleep in here!" I don't live in your storage ok!!!, I parked my car and took a quick nap as I was too tired before I start anything and move heavy boxes around..it's not like I come to this place everyday and treat it as a bedroom..thanks anyway for waking me up after a brief 15 min nap-that's the one star for you! ...weird how I've been nice too after water damage and mold to my collectible items last year and I didn't file any complaints or report as my aunt said I should've done so since I'm paying for insurance...five stars for the rest of the staff who have been nice to me though ( except for that one dude).. read more

I've been a loyal customer of this facility since 2003 when it was still AAAA Self Storage. Paid my monthly yearly and have given them my business for all those years, no complaint. On December 2011, they had a break in, unfortunately, my unit was one of those that had been burglarized. Received ONE phone call from them in December with the Manager asking me if i could check my unit, as there "had been suspicious activity" in the building. Never did she mention that units had already been broken into. Never thought twice of it because she never called back to say how serious things had gotten there. Great service from the Manager, right? I seldom go to check my units thinking that my items are safely stored there. So I go there months later to find my lock had been changed and that it had in fact been broken into. Instead of being sympathetic toward her customer that had been giving her business for many, many years, all she could offer me was an apology and a lock (for my other unit)! We asked if she could discount the previous months that we had been paying for because of all the items we had stored in that unit, only two boxes were left !! I was paying $54 for a basically empty unit. The Manager, Selma, was very unhelpful. She kept saying sorry that it happened but that we were basically SOL. So much for being a loyal customer to a company that cannot compensate for our loss even through discounts to show how truly sorry they were for what had happened. I've never been so disappointed with a company as much as this one. It's also funny how this happened after we had come in one month before the incident happened to look for a bigger unit to combine our two units into and after we declined their insurance. Renters beware, this may very easily have been an inside job. Coincidence? Maybe not. read more

I have had other storage units for years and I have never had the problems that I have with this Place. I was only told that the rent would go up at 5th month and 9th month by about 10 dollars. What they failed to say is that it is every 5 months and 9 months that the rent would go up. So I elected not to sign an arbitration agreement I was told I would have to move out in a month. Buyer beware these people are liar and cheats. read more

This company unfairly raises the monthy rental price after gaining a customer's business and confidence. I called around for several quotes before choosing a storage facility, and they provided the lowest rate by far. Turns out that they then raise the rent by a significant amount every six or so months. I would have preferred to go with a local mom and pop storage facility had I known, which would have been cheaper in the long run. Beware of online deals or deals through the national call centre- they are much cheaper than a quote you would receive directly from the local storage facility. Calling directly for a quote from the specific location will tell you how much you will really be paying down the road, instead of that enticing quote received as bait from the national call centre. Beware- some deals are too good to be true! Will definitely NOT be recommending this company. read more

I am impressed with the costumer service! When I went there to rent a storage space the ladies at the desk were very nice and helpful. They saw on me I am in rush and they served me very quickly and gave me a great deal! I highly recommend this storage for everyone!!!! read more
