Awesome service. Taccara helped me get set up. The original unit I picked wasn't big enough for my stuff and she showed me a bigger unit. I didn't feel any pressure to sign up and she went above and beyond showing me the unit, and making sure my code worked. She was awesome. The app was also helpful for when I moved out, super easy and convenient. Move out was easy as well and Mike the property manager assisted with that. I would have given it a 5 stars months ago under the last 2 managers but not since Brian became the mgr. He is very rude rude, calls ppl liars when they tell him about things happening at the storage site, etc. He has an attitude also. I love one of tge girls who originally rented me my unit. She's super sweet. Customer service told me to start taki g pictures of the problems I see bc Brian calls me a liar so I have and I can notbelieve how bad the floors are. There has been trash on the floor for.5 days and it hasn't been picked up, the floor isn't mopped (as evidenced by some of my pics), the paint has pealed off the floors, the walls have holes in them and corners are cracking, the bathroom isn't cleaned, etc. This place used to have a maintenance/cleaning man who kept everything up and they told him they had to let him go bc "it was too expensive to keep him". I used to really like this place bc of how clean it was and security but I'm very disappointed esp in how management reacts when you tell them what you see. I found a used condom in the hallway and they called me a liar. I take pictures now per customer service. read more

Extra Space Storage in long beach pineville rd!!! I accidentally paid for 2 months though I'll only need it for 1.5 months. I called in soon after the payment and was told that they could refund me the days that I won't be using if I call 2 days before the intended move-out date. I called 2 days to the store in before the move-out date, a so-called site manager refused to recognize what I told him and refuse to process any refund. He has been insisting that a ten-day notice has to be given them before make the payment, which I have never heard from other two staffs who helped me previously. I'm so angry at their inconsistent service and the rude so-called site manager. Never come here again. read more

I'm going to start with 4 stars and up or downgrade depending on how I like them after they hold my shit hostage when I'm in another State. I should have just trashed the shit, but I wanted to keep some prime African pieces, some items of clothing and a few masterpieces...sooooo I reserved a space online. They offered a free truck, but the local hustler has a pick up and needed the cash, so she packed up my junk and we moved it in. The 5x10 space had more than enough room and I may go there tomorrow to load some more things. Open 8AM-8PM everyday. The place is clean and the people are pretty nice. So that's it folks! I will be back in January to clear it out after the holidays. I'll be Yelping the interstate 10 and 20 and then I'll be Yelping Atlanta!!! Finally! Wooo hoooo! This place was awful. I was only here a few months and in that time they raised my rent about 20%. It was also filthy dirty. The people who work there are jerks, too. Their bathroom is only open during office hours and office hours are 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and they're closed on Sundays. If you have to use the bathroom on Sunday, you're shit out of luck. I asked them to replace the broken screen by my unit and they never did. This would have made it cleaner. They have a power strip of electrical outlets by my unit, but said I could not use it. This seemed arbitrary and mean-spirited. About mid-way through my contract, they decided I could only come there during office hours. They said I left a few minutes late and that someone caught me peeing out the back of the building. If the bathroom was unlocked, maybe I wouldn't have had to pee there. I typically peed in a waterproof bag when I was there after 6 p.m. or before 9:30 a.m., which was often. When they stopped allowing me to come during the hours they promised me in the contract, they also made me have to get a gate code every single time I wanted to come into my unit. Please note that there was no arbitration, no discussion and no recourse. They were the judge and jury and they are unreasonable jerks. Right before I left, they said there was a hidden camera by my unit. I don't trust them, but there might have been. The way some rich celebrities were treating me at the time seemed like they were watching me, so maybe there was one and they bit into the CCT or hacked their computer. The creepy lady who works there spied on me several times. She was attracted to me and when I showed no interest, she acted like a spurned woman and started being mean to me. The only good thing about this place was it was pretty cheap, but you get what you pay for. They ended up terminating my contract and gave me 48 hours notice. They said if I wasn't gone by that time, they would put me in a database that all storage places utilize and I would be blacklisted from getting any storage unit anywhere. The bathroom constantly stunk like bug spray. There is no ventilation and it almost made me sick. I was going to say something, but I figured it wouldn't do any good. Also, their sink has no hot water. I'm not a bad guy. In fact, I'm reasonable, understanding and a good guy. I had no problems at my previous storage unit (Pouch Storage at PCH and Cherry) the entire year I was there. However, these people treated me horribly. It was a bad experience and I'm very happy to move on. read more

I have seen storage unit spaces all around town but something drew me here and I am glad I came. I was happy to see that this place was easy to access, secured, and clean. Bryan has been with the company for some now, in terms of my initial interactions he was able to located the right deal for me and the right tips as a new mover. During my stay with public storage, he was sure that during a national crisis my needs were met. Reassuring me that my items were going to be safe while I was figuring out how to catch up is a feeling I can't relate with any other company. Public storage made steps to keep their clients, but associates like Bryan are who will create a lasting impression & will have never refer everyone to this location in specific. This place is a joke, raises rates all the time but you can't see where your money goes. Security is a joke, TWEEKERS come and go and break in to units. The camera system is all smoke and mirrors. Great customer service! Katrina was super helpful during the move process. Only suggestion I have would be to make sure the customer is aware of the available service truck. We didn't know that we could have used the truck for free so we had to rent our own which cost $80! I've had a storage unit here for over a year. In that time I have only regrets. When moving into the unit during business hours both office employees left the office and were gone for over an hour. Four people were waiting outside during that time and I had to fire my movers after 45 minutes because I thought they weren't going to return to give me my unit number and location. In the 15 months I've had the unit they've increased my monthly rate twice. On top of everything, the place is dirty, homeless people are blatantly living there, and the elevator does not stay open for more than a few seconds so moving more than one item is quite a pain. Don't believe the other reviewers, just find another storage option. read more
