They hadn't said a single words of warning they backed out of their deal to cover my rent that month. My car keys were locked in unit. I explained I had 5 kids including a new born and I need access to unit for car keys as well as Sunday is a huge day for me for work. 5 kids aren't cheap I needed my vehicle. They said sorry the best they could do was if I pay full month rent for mice infested unit, the following month they would give me a credit. Yeah heard that before right? So they refuse to give me access to unit because they didn't process the month credit they promised me. The person I talked to at the call center said they would move to help but every single call I made to them was dealing wirh local office. Imagine my surprise when 10 minutes later local office s told me they love to help but every single call I had with them was with the call center so there's nothin they could do. I asked for a district manager they told me the district manager is on vacation but his fill in doesn't work weekends so I probably wouldn't get a call. Here I am father of 5 working 7 days a week and their district manager couldn't work for a few minutes to resolve this issue so I can work 12 hours on a Sunday. Never received a call from either district manager. This is not a problem with just this location. The 10 people I dealt with about this every single one from refused responsibility and pointed the finger at someone else in the company. From local office all the way up in this company all suffer from lack of accountability. Not one person owned my issue and took the 10 minutes to fix my problem. They all blamed someone else and left me holding the bag with no vehicle or any of the things I need to work. I lost close to $1000 in just the first day because no one will fix this issue and no one cares.

Well my husband told me I was just being paranoid (I work for a security company, so I suppose I have higher standards). The people that work here are always very nice - yes, but I think everyone who stores here should know what we experienced last weekend. October 2016 on a Sunday AM, we were at the unit, maybe around 8-830am. We have 2 units here and we were consolidating to one unit. We parked our truck outside our main unit and of course had the windows down. I noticed a lady walking around the property and didn't think much of it at first, until she started getting EXTREMELY close to our vehicle, looking in our windows. Walking in between our truck and our storage unit and kept looking into our space. She continued to do this for a while and we opted not to say anything to her - maybe she'd just leave us alone. (She looked like she was high on something). The next thing we notice, is she started to jump the fence in the back corner where the barbed wire is bent, and left the unit. A few minutes later, she was back in the unit (she went through the fence (literally walked through) on the other gate further down). Now she is back to walking around, staring at us... watching our every move. She kept sitting on the ground and watching us. She disappeared for a bit again and then a little while later, she climbed the front gate (that you enter through) and just sat on there for a while. She eventually got down, and came back to our unit and at that point my Husband asked her if she had a problem and she mumbled that she was looking for someone. She was walking in and out of our belongings and staring in our unit again. So we opted to tell her to leave us alone or else we'd call the cops. The cops showed up - and right when they showed up someone opened a unit from the inside and she went in to their unit. With the hour and half we were there, not once did we see someone's vehicle, etc. there except for another person at his unit that we talked to, to make sure he locked his vehicle b/c of her. My personal thought... I can't say whether or not the guy was there before us that morning, or if he stayed in his unit overnight. It's just very odd that someone from the inside of their unit after 1 - 1 1/2 hours just opens up like it's nothing. I called the management on Sunday - talked to a girl there, and said the manager was off until Tuesday AM. I haven't heard from anyone, and I had to call the property manager today. He told me they have warned the individual at the unit she went into that she isn't allowed back there or she will be arrested. I expressed my concerns about the unsecure parts of the building and they mentioned they reinforced those spots a few weeks ago. I suggested they check them again. Unfortunately, we will be leaving this place as soon as possible b/c with all the crazy stuff that happens these days that you see on the news, if we don't feel safe at a place, how can we continue to pay them. I wish we had a better experience as this place was very close to us. **ALSO I'd like to note - they asked me not to put a review on here b/c it would be unfair b/c it was a one-time experience and this has never happened before. Everyone has the right to believe what they want, but I also have the right to express my concerns and to share my experience.

I just want to take the time to thank the people that work at Ashland…read more As a new Truck Driver, I've never been to this location, so here my story to tell. 1) I've only been driving for 12 days that's right 12 days... 2) I had to take my Load to be reworked..I had made arrangements with Bryan (a very knowledgeable guy) he told me to be at the location at 10:00 am. 3) To dock there you had to use the street to back into the docks the docking staff were very helpfully understanding I"m a rookie driver. 4) I was greeted by two very nice young ladies Lorena & Franny, they made the process seamless. 5) I had to register two EFS checks for payment for the work performed by Ashland. 6) Another associate by the name of Jackie, was gracious and very patient with me, as I tried several times registering the checks for payment. 7) Though it took quite some time to complete the job, Bryan had worked my load in unscheduled. (that was awesome) he didn't have to do that plus got me a dock. Overall Ashland Cold Storage have some very special people working there, I told them I would write a review, and for all the others I didn't mention I just wanted to let all you know I greatly appreciate the professionalism you showed me when I arrived. Nervous not knowing what to expect, I left very humbled, I do hope your upper management takes time to recognize the team they have in place at Ashland Cold Storage.
