They charged us an additional $1500 ,more than they said they would. Who packs plants in a box tapes it up and doesn't write on it what it is? They do !!! A few of the employees were rude, and would whisper . They are very unprofessional. Save your money Please. So, if you want the right workers to come help from AMS and you want it done right, you might want to request these 3 workers who work amazing together and were very careful with putting my items in my home for me. I had quite a bit to pack and move in June 2025, and moved into a three story townhome. Considering that, I felt $3500 was a fair price. Last week, after downsizing quite a bit, doing most of my own packing (much of my stuff had never been unpacked and was still in AMS boxes from last year., I called them again based on my experiences in previous moves Unfortunately I didn't read recent reviews. They offered a "complimentary" kitchen packing, which I accepted. (It's not complimentary!) The crew of three men and one gal showed up- gal in charge. One guy was great, the other two did t speak English and were like two of the three stooges. Laughing. Goofing around. Boss lady stayed in the truck and listened to something with headphones for hours. Then she decides to start packing the kitchen after 5 hours which ran the clock even further. Two Stooges Moe and Curly dropped my sofa, damaged the frame. They continued to mess around. Unloading was even worse.. I don't want to pay for someone to screw on lampshades. I need assistance to MOVE boxes and furniture. The guy who was hard working left between loading and unloading. In short: instead of the quoted price of $3500, I was charged $7500! I called customer service and they knocked $400 off labor because the fourth guy wasn't there to help unload. The movers broke a mahogany dining room chair, damaged my buffet, sofa (then tried to hide the damage) and a few other items. I will never ever recommend them again, nor will I use them to move again. Horrible customer service from Troy, horrible experience with YaYa and her two stooges. At the start the guys seemed cool, but as the move went on their attitude changed. They started complaining about how much stuff I had even though I did a full intake with them beforehand and we already agreed on a price. They even started insinuating I should go to an ATM to pay them more money, which made me feel uneasy and was unprofessional since the rate was already set. I moved into a brand new building where I'm only the 3rd person on my floor. A hallway light fixture was broken during the move and they told me they didn't do it. However, management knocked on my door later saying they have them on camera breaking the light and damaging the walls. On top of the building damage, my vanity was broken, some furniture was scratched, and the monitor for my work computer is broken. I've asked repeatedly for their insurance information so we can resolve this, but they aren't responding. I believe I've been blocked now because my messages are no longer going through. Beau, the owner, visited us and gave an estimate that was very competitive. Throughout the move process they had very good communication. Before the move, we packed up most of the things ourselves, but Phoenix offered to have some of their office staff pack up the fragile items like dishes and art work on an hourly rate. This really helped! On the day of the move, they were on time and they brought in 10 people to pack the van and get us on our way quickly. When they moved us, they did not consolidate and transfer our things to another van, our things stayed in the same van until it reached its final destination. When they unpacked, they were very professional and efficient. To summarize, we had a great experience moving with Phoenix Express and I would highly recommend them for anyone to move with!

It started raining maybe 10-15 minutes after they started, and they didn't let that negatively impact their work in any way. They came completely prepared to wrap, protect, and move everything safely. I have an antique vanity that I let them know was the most important thing to me. They wrapped and carried it like a newborn baby. They even wrapped our mattresses to keep them from getting wet in the rain. Please keep in mind that when I speak of rain, I mean HEAVY rain. These guys got soaked and still did an outstanding job. No long delays or breaks. I just can't emphasize enough how great they were. The rate is competitive, the communication is clear, and they are just on point in every way that you would want and expect a moving service to be.
