Oh my goodness, well they say 3 times the charm right? We just moved to the area in December and I have tried 2 other nail spas before I found EZ Nails. Coco's Nail got halfway through my gel fill before she told me she doesn't know how to do gel fills. Ugh! So then I tried Me Time Nails. She charged me $70 and afterward I had so many gang nails because she filed my nails wrong it was ridiculous. So I thought I would give EZ Nails a try based on Yelp reviews. Well I wasn't disappointed. They took me right in. I confirmed twice that they do gel fills. I got a pedicure and my gel fill at the same time and felt like a queen! All the attention and hospitality...it was wonderful! And I was pleasantly surprised by the inexpensive bill when I was done! I've been going to EZ Nails since I got my first set of acrylics when I was 16, so I've been going there for about 17 years total. Ken was always my man. Nobody else did my nails more perfectly than he did, and the price was always very reasonable. Sometimes I would go to a different salon if it was closer or if EZ Nails was too busy, but my nails never turned out as good. That being said, today I had my first bad experience at EZ Nails. Now, I found out a few months ago that Ken retired, which is sad for me but good for him. I've been there a few times since, and didn't have any problems. Today I made an appointment for a pedicure and a fill. When I got there, it seemed like they weren't expecting me. But they did the pedicure first and it was fine, pretty average. Then I moved to the table to have my fill done. It started out normal, but she was chipping away at the old parts of acrylic and eventually said I needed a new set because they were too old. I tend to avoid getting a new set for as long as possible (I've gone years with just getting fills and it's been fine) mainly because 99% of the salons I've been to will just rip the old acrylic off my nails instead of removing them gently and safely. I have very thin nails (that's why I usually have acrylics), like even before I ever had acrylic put on, my nails have always just naturally been very thin and fragile. So when they rip the acrylic off, it HURTS. Badly. And sometimes entire pieces of my nail come off with it. Anyway, she talked me into getting a new set, and then started ripping the acrylic off. She wasn't making an effort to be careful, even though I was obviously in pain, evident by the noises I was making and by inadvertently pulling my hands away a little when she would really hurt me. Once all the old acrylic was off, she started putting the new set on. At this point the only other two employees in the salon were sitting next to us and chatting with her, which is fine, but she was distracted. She also seemed to be rushing, as she was being a bit rough, yanking my hands where she wanted them, being a little sloppy with the acrylic application, and continuing to hurt me. She cut me in 8 different places, telling me my skin was too thin. That's not something I can help, and a good nail technician should know to be more careful with a client that has thin/sensitive skin. I mean, if you keep cutting me, it's just logical to be more careful. The fill was otherwise just okay. Not the worst quality fill I've ever had, but definitely not the best, and not what I would expect judging from my years of experience with EZ Nails. It's a bit uneven and there are some sloppy spots around the edges on a couple nails, but it's not too bad. They moved me to a different chair to have someone else paint my nails while the other woman got started on another client. I sat there as my nails dried, wondering if they were going to ask me to pay at any point (they usually have me pay before they paint my nails so I don't mess them up). My nails dried, I used the restroom, and sat back down for a couple minutes before getting one of the other ladies' attention so I could pay (she was on her phone- actually both of them were, almost the whole time). She charged me $62, which surprised me a bit. I guess a full set was more than I thought it would be. I didn't leave a tip. I am normally a dedicated and generous tipper, not just at salons but at restaurants or any other place where tipping is customary. The only other time I didn't leave a tip at EZ Nails was when I was in high school and thought I had more cash on me than I did, but Ken told me not to worry and I tipped double the next time. I'm just disappointed. For so many years I knew what to expect at EZ Nails and knew they would do a good job. Now I don't know if I want to go back. At this point they are just another nail salon with hit-or-miss quality and no selling points to rank them above other salons in the area. I miss you, Ken. read more

*REVIEW REGARDING EYEBROW WAX* In terms of nail services, EZ Nails deserves a solid 3 stars. However, the eyebrow waxing is a different story. I have been a loyal customer to EZ nails for roughly ten years. I've always had Dawn, the owner, do my eyebrows in the back room. It was private and I was always satisfied with my results. However, EZ Nails recently remodeled. My mother and I both went to get our eyebrows done this past weekend. My mother went first. Since the back room was being renovated, she had to sit in a spa chair out in the open. As soon as my mother finished, I was mortified. Her eyebrows are completely uneven. One slopes upward with an overly emphasized arch, the other slopes downward and looks droopy. Once I saw the results I was immediately traumatized and refused to have my eyebrows done. When I called to make an appointment here for a manicure, I specifically asked to schedule with someone who knows how to do a design. I wasn't looking for anything super complex, the design was pretty simple and common. I was going to an event and was really excited to have fun nails rather that my usual basic colors. When I came in for my appointment, I again notified the gentleman getting ready to do the manicure that I'm looking to do a design, showed him what I was looking for and he said "no problem". When he got to the design part, it was very clear that he had no idea how to do one. It looked like something done by an 8 year old. I would usually keep my mouth shut even if it wasn't what I wanted but it was so bad, I would've been too embarrassed to walk around like that. Ended up having him just leave my nails blank. So frustrating, why say you can do something when you actually can't?! Just be f'n honest! read more

Twice two different woman have done my nail and this time she cut my cuticles all around and they hurt so bad this is now day 3. I was so upset I. The shape I had to do it my self just to look descent on top of she cut them so short they hurt at all of the tips. This is just not acceptable and not professional. Came here because it was the only salon open near me with reasonable prices but the service was horrible. The ladies didn't talk to us and would keeping answering their cell phones or talking to each other. I had to keep telling the nail tech that she's missing spots or to file my nails more. I had originally wanted acrylics done on my natural nails but during her phone conversation which was apparently more important she filed off the side of my nail with the drill at which point I told her to just cut all my nails. I'm left with chunky sloppy acrylics too big for me. My sister also had paint missing in areas. We paid $93 for a short and long set of gel acrylics with $7 tip to each nail tech. I hate my nails and had done a better job at home. Highly regret coming! read more

After stuffing our faces across the street we decided to get mani/pedi (I just got a pedicure). I have a broken toe that has odd pain triggers, but Yenny mentioned that they will be super gentle so I got the pedi and massage. Kim did my pedicure and was so awesome. She was super careful around my broken toe and so skilled that she was able to trim my nail and clean up my cuticle without causing pain to my toe. She had a great attitude and a smile to go along with it (which I'm sure she has to deal with some messed up feet). I also added on the parafin wax mask and she was super cautious about the heat and my toe, awesome! I really enjoyed the leg/foot massage so much it made my body tingle. It's now the next day and my feet are still feeling great. The price is a little more than other places I go, but you get your value so much more here. Never have I been so compelled to write a review! Where can I start with this place? 1. Super accommodating. They created an appointment for me even though I only gave 15 mins notice. 2. Very friendly phone service and excellent customer service in the salon. The employees were all professional and focused on their work, not talking to each other as with most other places. 3. I LOVE KEN!!! This is the real reason I am writing this review. He answered all my questions. Was direct about pricing. Gentle, meticulous, took his time, kind and did amazing work. I have never EVER given a seal of approval for a nail place because I am somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to nails. For me to write this is a huge deal. I left with a huge smile on my face and will definitely be returning! 4. Lynn did my pedicure and did a great job as well. She was funny and experienced. She actually took her time when it came to the massage. Something my feet desperately needed. Although she took her time, the entire pedicure was really fast. Came out really well too. 5. Came for a gel pedicure, this was my first time there. I decided to stop by because of there later hours which is convenient. I read the reviews prior to going and was excited to try this new place. Unfortunately, I had a really bad experience. I dislike complaining but this has been by far the worst pedicure I've gotten. The nail tech did not soak my feet upon starting, she went straight to file off my previous gel. She filed so harsh, she cut me with the file and my toe began to bleed. I asked her to cut my nails short and she cut them very uneven. She left my pinky toe longer than the rest. I asked her to please take out my ingrown on my big toes but she only got the corners. I told her it was still hurting and she said no I took them off. When she started taking of my cuticles she cut me again. At this point I just wanted to leave, so I just let her finish. As she started to paint my nails she got nail polish on her gloves and every time she grabbed my foot, she would leave nail polish residue on my skin. I left there with my toes burning from the cuts. I am really sad because now I will probably have to wait about 2-3 weeks to get a new pedicure. In the mean time, I have to suffer with all this. The nail tech was friendly but her way of work wasn't what I expected. I basically paid $40 for my toes to be tortured. I hope this never happens to any one else. :( read more

First time I came here, I had a pedicure done. I was happy with the work and it lasted a long time. The prices were reasonable.. so I came back for seconds. Next time, I got a gel manicure from an old man. He started with dipping my fingers in the acetone.. I hate that. My fingers get all dried up. Then he filed off the layer of gel and lots of my own nails. He left them so thin that even after 3 coats of the gel, they felt so weak. My nails started breaking in a week. The worst part was, he was scraping the nail polish with his own pointy thick dirty thumb nail. Eew. Anyway.. one really good job and one really crappy job. So I'm torn, DO NOT get gel nails here. They do have quick service, no lines, no waiting, at least both the times that I've gone. I have to say, I hate the DVD that they play over and over. read more

I've been going to EZ Nails for years I've had my nails done by every staff member they all do a good job. I get French tip for polish and the owner does the best. Her polishes really last and my nails don't break as easily. I also like how sanitary everything is in the salon. It may not be as fancy as some but it's clean and you get good service for a good price. It's difficult to walk in on fri and sat. any other day I usually call before and have no problem getting in right away. read more

Great prices! Definitely not a fancy salon, but they get the job done. I normally come here for quick polish changes. The two sisters that sit in the middle of the salon always do a great job. The owners are also very friendly. They do get busy so I always end up waiting 10-15 min since I only come here when I happen to be in the area. I don't mind waiting, but make an appointment if you're often in a time crunch. They don't have the biggest selection of colors, so I highly recommend bringing your own bottle of polish if you are picking with your nail polish. While their prices are cheap, they do take pride in keeping the salon clean. read more
