I'm disappointed !!!!! Each kebab includes 3 small pieces of chicken or meatballs and a full plate of rice (no matter what you order). You can eat rice but no beef and chicken( just 3 small piece). Kebab taste and appearance were bad. It was the worst kebab. There was also a very loud group of men who were rude to the guests. The staff was very friendly. I want to thank them. 1 star for staff . I ordered the combo kabob with chicken and beef and there were only about 3 pieces of chicken and two pieces of beef in my order; hardly any meat for the money ($17.95+tax). I tried this place as I was craving Kabobs. This place is close to my work. It is awesome. I ordered the chicken breast kabob with rice and potatoes. Everything was great. I absolutely loved the potatoes. I think I will get an extra side of those next time. I have eaten there twice in one week! It is hidden, back in the marketplace off of Main Street in Fairfax City but there was a steady stream of people who came in. I had lunch at this place last week. I ordered super combo, which included lamb, Chicken boneless and Beef Kubaida. lamb and kubaida and chicken, all were very very good. One advise for the owner is not to put too much Red color to the meet. If you use Paprika, it will give natural color and enhance the flavor. Bread was very good and delicious. Just a hint not to make it harder at some areas because hard to chew. Rice were re-warmed many times and people like me can very easily recognize if Rice is fresh or not. I like the owner, who reads every comment. Therefor this analysis is not for the reason to hurt the owner business but in fact to give him some good advise and that is the way his business will progress further. So Ahamed, keep up on meats because you know how to marinate, just remove red color. Bread no need to do any changes except make sure not to cook it hard. Rice, don't have to give rice to every customer, ask who wants rice and than make sure to give them fresh rice every time. you can substitute rice for salad for the one who don't want rice. Also the green sauce need to change the recipe, either make it like shamshiri green sauce or make it less sour. But we love this place..dark meat chicken kebab is our favorite, the chickpeas and rice are delicious. We also like the spinach. And of course naan is super fresh and delicious. Yesterday I ordered Fairfax Kabob's beef kabob platter and was thoroughly disappointed when I opened the box at home. The platter costed around $16-$17 had tasteless rice, 4-5 small pieces of meat a naan bread and one side. Overall the meat platter consisted of carbs and very little protein And very less value for money. It was a mistake going to this place and at least for me that was my last time going there. read more

so we went to fairfax kabob this past weekend because we were in the mood for falafel. the first issue was just finding the place. this was bad omen to things to come. waze couldn't pinpoint the address and sent me past the entrance to the strip mall so i had to u-turn to get to it. the person taking the order was pleasant enough. but its a serious issue when they get my order wrong, especially with a carry out order when we didn't see the mistake until we left the place. we ordered a the falafel sandwich and chicken sandwich. the falafel sandwich was with the tzatziki sauce on the side. that should be generally understood as no sauce in the sandwich and only the sauce on the side. well, they screwed it up. the sandwich was drenched with tzatziki sauce and they gave a small container of the sauce on the side. this made the sandwich highly disappointing as we were very hungry, but it was un-edible as it was a total soggy mess. what's worst was the chicken sandwich. it tasted fine, though the chicken had a strange red coloring to it. it kind of looked like tandoori chicken. but the worst was yet to come. i had stomach issues that lasted hours afterwards and involved several trips to the bathroom. it was bad. we went to target to look for emergency alka seltzer, which helped a little bit. i hate leaving a negative review but so many things went wrong with our visit here. we will never come back. read more
