Ground round steak and eggs with potatoes and sourdough toast for breakfast. Delicious!

Great local place at the golf course. Off the beaten path so only locals and golfers. Really nice clean place with great service and food. Great soups of the day and specials.

A modest cafe situated at the golf course. Per my MIL, it was recently renovated, which makes the place feel more modern. The white walls and wide windows has the place feel very open and welcoming. The staff were also great and attentive. We got the fairway omelet (not pictured), the California omelet, and the meat lovers omelet with biscuits and gravy. The California omelet was fantastic. Cool well with plenty of filling so one doesn't feel cheated. The country potatoes were very crispy and was well suited with the onions and bell pepper. The toasted was generously buttered on both sides (which may not be the best for some people). The biscuits and gravy was fantastic and too much food for three of us to finish in conjunction with our omelets so beware if you do order it, as you'll likely be taking it home for leftovers.

The service sucked. Racist! Your skin has to be white for them to ask how the food is good, would you like a refill!!!! Never again

This visit was probably the best and worst experience I've had here at the same time. We walked in just before closing without realizing how late it was. The customer who came in right after us was immediately told they couldn't order because the restaurant was closed, which is completely understandable. However, the way it was communicated came across as very rude and abrupt. A simple "I'm sorry, we're closed" would have gone a long way. After that the vibe in the whole place changed even behind the counter. After placing our order, I specifically requested some burgers plain, some without lettuce, and also asked for ranch with our fries. When our food came out, the burgers were made incorrectly and the ranch was missing. I went back to the counter and was told by the same employee that she couldn't give me ranch because her register was already closed and she would have to charge me for it. The cashier who originally took my order apologized and said she thought she had added it to the receipt. I explained that I had requested it when ordering (I had even left a tip) When I asked if I could still get the ranch, I was told no and the employee walked away. Thankfully, the manager came up to my table and provided the ranch, allegedly anyway she was wearing normal clothes no uniform. She also had the incorrectly made burgers remade and personally brought them to our table, apologizing again for the inconvenience. The manager completely turned the experience around and was the reason the visit ended on a positive note. Unfortunately, one employee's attitude left a lasting impression. Customer service isn't always easy, but friendliness and professionalism make a huge difference, especially when handling simple requests. (The blonde, shaved head lady) I'm grateful the manager stepped in and made things right. However, after this experience, I'll probably think twice before making this my late-night go-to spot again.

Staff are friendly and very attentive, I don't think we ever had a bad service here. It wasn't busy on a Monday late afternoon, we were seated right away. We asked for a booth, but mentioned that a gentleman had been seated to the right and therefore she couldn't double seat (whatever that meant). Anyway, the gentleman who she had referred to had already received his meal and was eating. If she meant that he requested the booth but was already eating and didn't seem to care for moving, it was open. She also stated "we can have a seat and wait". Wait for what? The booth was open! I didn't hesitate to state "forget it!" and walked away. In the meantime another booth became available, but needed to wait until it was cleaned, which immediately it was. It bothered her that we were seated in the 2nd booth, and I don't know why. My sister and I are recent retired psychiatric nurses and are very observant to body language and behaviors. She was pissed! My question to the higher ups is, how did she become manager? Please check her because she failed in the hospitality department. Sincerely, Two Frequent Visitors

That is exactly what happened during my recent dinner at Elderberry House. I visited with a group of four, and between us, we had two gluten-free diners and one vegetarian. After a quick heads-up the day before, the restaurant handled our needs with total ease. We went for the five-course tasting menu, and it was incredible from start to finish. We kicked things off with one of the best oysters I have ever had, followed by a beautiful tuna presentation. The kitchen even looked out for our gluten-free friends with a special version of their herbal-butter focaccia that was actually delicious. By the time the main courses arrived, I honestly could not decide if I liked my beef or my friend's snap pea risotto better; every single bite was pure perfection. The cocktails were another high point. My first drink was great, but after chatting with our server, Jordan, I decided to try the Last Word. It featured that hard-to-find green chartreuse, and I am a little annoyed to report that I have a new favorite cocktail that requires such a rare ingredient. The service is what really made the night so special. Jordan was so charismatic and helpful, making sure we were perfectly taken care of all evening. He was so good that I almost worried a second visit would not be the same without him, though the rest of the staff quickly put that fear to rest. Abby was so friendly and responsible for a truly unique but perfect-for-the-vibe playlist, and Chris the mixologist even stopped by to geek out about gin and cocktails with us. From the genuine care for our food sensitivities to the clever touch of the iPad check-in hidden in an elegant binder, it was a night for the books. I cannot recommend this place enough and look forward to bringing my family next!
