    Chocolate Mountain cake
    Colleen C.

We stopped by to pick up a birthday cake for my dad. We had selected to purchase a cheesecake they used in other dishes but Stephanie offered to make us a great chocolate mountain cake. Stephanie made the birthday mountain chocolate cake and we were able to pick up after they closed. This was a nice and generous offer to bake something on the same day. She also provided whipping cream and chocolate dipping sauce. This was a great surprise for my family.

    Philly cheese sandwich

We keep trying this place hoping we would have a better experience, but unfortunately it just doesn't hit the spot. The women who worked the front counter(and also bakery) is super sweet and made it a better experience. But the food was no good, except the fries maybe. My husband got the fish and chips and the fish was over cooked in old oil. I got the Philly cheese steak sandwich, which was okay, but there wasn't a lot of meat, and it was just sub par. We got our daughter a children's grilled cheese and the bread was extremely stale and non edible. For the desserts, The monkey bread is just okay, don't really understand the rave. The brownies and lemon squares are also nothing special. I was really hoping to like it more.

The cashier who helped me was very friendly and nice, he got me the fries&drink combo even though I didn't know about it and ordered them separately. I chose to sit in the patio which was pleasant and peaceful with the weather and the view of the mountains. The food came out very quickly -- the sandwiches fresh & fries straight from the fryer. The sandwiches were perfect portion and the Dutch crunch had that perfect crunch but softness at the same time. The homestyle lemonade was just the cherry on top, refreshing and not overly sweet. I would definitely come to this place again!

I don't often get included in the order at sandwich' shops, so I just said, "Anything gluten free, if they have it," Unbeknownst to me, a very fresh and big lettuce wrapped "Turkey Avocado Sprouts Swiss" with "The Works" (condiments). I was blown away, it was delicious. I waited to review until I went a few more than a few times, just incase that wrap was a fluke. Nope! I haven't gotten sick there yet and I appreciate that a lot. Itzel makes the best wraps, I believe I can tell the difference if she's making them. Perfectly stuffed, tightly wrapped (because if not they are super hard to eat), and cut in half. Thanks girl! Thank you for always being on time for my pick up order (which is super easy to place by the way) and thank you for the great food. It's obvious you're a hard worker and care about your job. That's rare these days. I've never been to any other Deli Delicious besides this one, but I can't see how they would top this one. Thanks again! I might do a wrap photo shoot and add some pictures a little later.

The ride up the hill is always relaxing and scenic, at times you can see wild turkeys and other wildlife, taking the old Millerton road you ride past a property that has Bison, Alpacas and Giraffes along with horses and cattle. As you can see I chose a hearty meal something common but still appreciated. The restaurant was a buzz with other travelers and with the TV on and conversation wafting through the air the thought of my travels around the lower 48 states occupied my mind. The service was prompt (never an empty coffee cup) and even the proprietor shared the duty of checking the customers at the counter bar (he was very cool). The decor was reflective of the years gone by and I could identify myself with some of the items seen, always a nice touch. Be sure to travel and see the these small mom n pop business you gain much more than just a good meal, included is a view to the past and maybe just maybe a glimpse of yourself back in time.

Raley's supermarkets consistently offer a top-quality, expansive selection of fresh produce. They are known for sourcing fresh, seasonal items from nearby farms, which reduces shipping time and ensures peak freshness. Their strong relationships with local farmers also give those growers a reliable retail outlet while providing customers with the best seasonal offerings. The bakery is equally impressive, featuring creative fruit pies, consistently high-quality baked goods, and the irresistible aroma of items fresh from the oven. This particular location also stands out for its nice selection of Yosemite-themed gifts and souvenirs, including hats, hoodies, stickers, magnets, shot glasses, mugs, and more. Prices here are typically 15-30% lower than at local gift shops or inside the park village. The restrooms are generally well-maintained and clean, which is always appreciated on a long drive.
