This place is horrendous. I dropped my car of at 7:30am. They were going to call me later in the afternoon but 'hey here's my card with my direct number you can call'. At 5:30 having heard nothing I called. His voicemail box is full! Just WOW! I call the direct line and find out they haven't even looked at my car yet and won't at all today! 'But you can come get it'... Like that's a solution. This place used to have GREAT service I brought my cars here (all FORDs) for over 20 years. Took my Truck in for the 3rd time coming out worse than when it went in. The mechanics have no idea what they're doing. The mechanics are not mechanics they are wrench turners. They have misdiagnosed my truck every time. They gave me a price to fix it and it turned out to be the wrong thing and then I had to pay more to fix the right thing, which is what I brought it in for originally. And this has happened more than once. I've given them several chances to get things right and make things right and all they do is take my money, Plus they are way too expensive. I went to the service department for a number of reasons & they had to keep my car overnight. They do offer a local shuttle so that was really helpful, but it would have been inconvenient to leave it overnight if I didn't have a car I could borrow. This place really is a racket. This was my second shot at trying them out and they disappointed again. They want to charge you a $169 assessment fee that doesn't apply to your fixing of your vehicle. I have a Ford expedition. For some reason the Bluetooth stopped acknowledging my cell phone. It won't let me click on it. I can no longer sync my phone to the car. So I stopped in at Fairway Ford to ask if there was a hack or something I could be doing. I tried everything on YouTube but no luck. I thought the professionals at the Ford dealership might have a quick response answer to something so simple as pairing a phone to a radio. Instead of help They told me they would have to inspect my radio. And it would cost me $217. $217 to check out a radio? Outrageous. And that is all the assistance they would give me. I asked was there anything I could do myself to check it out. They seem to have no knowledge of the systems in their vehicles. Horrible experience. I was thinking about upgrading my vehicle. I might think again before buying another Ford if they can't stand behind their products. This is the second Ford dealership I have had a nasty experience with I won't name the other one but the clip on my fog light came off. A simple little screw to put it back in but I thought I'd have the dealership do it so everything was done legit. They tried to charge me $600 to put the little screw in. And when the job was completed they didn't even use the actual clip the Jerry rigged it with a permanent stud. Now I can't take my fog lights off without removing permanently that stud. I realize that this review is being posted a year late. It was my intention to post in August of 2018 which is when this happened. I am not sure why it didn't post when I originally wrote it. I found it in my drafts today. It is important enough to be posted though so here you go.... My car was involved in an accident in August of 2017. Fairway Ford Body Shop did the repairs on my 2015 Ford Fusion. I had to bring it back twice in the first week after they were done because it wouldn't drive straight. They finally got it aligned "good enough" that I took the car home. Fast forward to this month (1 year later) I pull out of my garage and the whole arm underneath my car falls apart causing the tire to turn sideways, damaging my fender and door. I had to have the car towed to them. When I came in I was greeted by Jacob who was very nice. He listened to me and then called the manager, Sam. Sam came in and already had very much postured in defense before I started speaking. He cut me off before I finished explaining what had happened and curtly said "we will take a look and see what is going on" and left. The ONLY reason I even left my car here at this point is because I knew they were responsible and were going to have to cover the costs of the new repairs so I couldn't take it somewhere else or I would have had to pay for the repairs myself. He called the next day and left a message on my husbands cell stating "I just wanted to update you on the status. We found that the damage is minimal to the suspension, which is good. The bolt failed. The bolt that you found is the one that secures the lower control arm and it had failed. So we don't know why. It appears it had been, uh, you know, loosened over time. That's probably the creaking that was being heard. But when the bolt broke that just let the control arm pivot and that pulled the axel out and went into the fender. So we have ordered the axel shaft and the bolt. We'll get the suspension back together and realign the vehicle and then we're gonna get the fender and door taken care of and we should be able to get it back to you early next week. Thank you and have a good night". I have been told by SEVERAL mechanics that should have never happened. They said the only reason it would happen is if it wasn't secured properly in the original repair the first time they did the work in 2017. Being the manager of an auto body shop, I think Sam knew exactly why it happened. No apology from him ever. Didn't come out to talk to me when I picked up the car either. Sam should take some customer service pointers from his own staff who were very kind to me and felt bad for what had happened. Thankfully I was pulling out of my garage and that this happened in our driveway. God forbid I had been driving on the open road and had an accident harming myself and possibly others. NEVER again will I use this place and would advise everyone to steer clear. read more

I was so impressed by Jeff Avichouser and the rest of the service team that I had to give Kudos where they are due. My wife's 2013 Focus has a DSP6 transmission and it was shifting rough and hesitating. I called Jeff and he said let's get it in as soon as possible, the 7 year warranty extension is about to expire. Not only did he get it in on time and as promised, but they noticed the battery was defective and in need of replacement. The defective battery was the second one the car has had since new and was still under warranty. It was replaced along with the negative battery cable and the car is running as good as new. If you have a Ford and are looking for an honest and thorough service department that will get it done right and on-time, look no further. read more

My mother in law that is 70 brought her Ford Escape in because it was leaking coolant and they said the fixed it and coolant was all over her driveway the next morning. She brought her car in again and they told her nothing was wrong with her car that they were baffled because nothing is wrong . She told them she could smell a burning and coolant is still leaking they said they looked at it and it's fine . Charged her $700 to just tell her nothing is wrong with her car . She brings her car again an d they tell her her engine is going to blow up and she needs a new one after months of bringing it in telling them something is wrong and now her car engine has seized and now is not drivable. I took my Ford Fusion in because I was having some technology issues; one of them being that my touch screen kept asking for an update. Ford, with my instruction and permission, updated the touch screen OS. However this changed the way the screen emitted light and triggered my migraines. Fairway took the time to contact Detroit to get the original software to set my screen OS back to the original setting. This was a lifesaver as the new screen triggered a headache in minutes!!! I went here to buy a vehicle. I've been a loyal Ford customer for the past 4 car purchases, but bought from Ken Grody or Norm Reeves. This dealership is nowhere near the customer experience of those two. The experience was so bad I think I won't buy a Ford as my next car. The sales personnel here are terrible and they are extremely greedy. They wanted to sell me the car for 10% over sticker price and when I wanted to leave they said they "lost" my spare set of keys for my trade in they were appraising. They pretended to look for my keys for a half hour and said I'd have to come back when they found it. I told them they were a bunch of jokers and left. On my way out my keys magically appeared and they returned them. What a stupid game to play on a customer. This place is the worst. Steer clear. I'm test driving a Tesla now. Screw Ford and their Mach E when you have to deal with this BS. read more

I recently bought a used F150 from Fairway Ford and I should have gone with my gut and walked away. It all began with a very nice sales guy that came down to the priced I was okay with. We then moved onto the paperwork phase where they provided me with an Experian Autocheck report that said the truck had no accidents or damage. When I asked for a CarFax, they said that Autocheck was more accurate and said that's all they used. Not being convinced, I pulled out my phone and ran a CarFax, which I paid for myself, only to find out that the truck had past damage reported. This was red flag #1. When I brought it to their attention, they acted shocked and tried to explain it away. Since I didn't trust them i told them to cancel the deal. That's when the manager finally came out of his glass room to talk to me and tell me that I could have 2 days to have the truck inspected and could return it for any reason within that time. I had asked them for this before and they strongly refused (another red flag I ignored). But when I threatened to walk away, they obliged. Thinking I had nothing to lose, I continued with the buying process on the condition that I could return it in 2 days for any reason. When I was just about to sign the final paperwork, they handed me an envelope with a bunch of information about the truck. The Experian Autocheck was in there... and guess what else... the CarFax! And not the one I had just run. This meant that they purposely withheld that information from me originally because I had asked them for it and they said they didn't have it. I really should have run away at this point and I'm disappointed in myself for not doing so. Unfortunately I didn't walk away. I took the truck and had it inspected by someone I trust and they found where the damage occurred. They said it likely a bumper replacement from a fender bender and they didn't find anything else I should be worried about. They said that there was no obvious issues with it and that the damage had likely been minor. However, they couldn't guarantee that there was nothing wrong with it given that sometimes things show up later. I ended up keeping the truck and took it home to Northern California thinking that I had had a bad experience, but had walked away buying a good truck. However, within 3 months of buying it, it started making a terrible clanking noise. I took it to my local Ford dealer and they've had it 3 times already and can't figure out what's wrong with it. Looks like I got a lemon and if they can't fix it this next time I'll be contacting a Lemon Law attorney. I was a sucker for buying a truck from Fairway Ford. Don't commit my mistake. Good ol' bait and switch at Fairway Ford. Asked for info online and I of course got a call within 10 minutes. The sales manager lady said it's still available and asked when I could come down and check out the truck. I said 6 she then said how about 6:30 I said fine see you then. She then gave me another name to ask for when I arrived. I arrive at dealer and couldn't find the truck anywhere. I called the the salesman and told him I was there. When he came out I asked him about the truck and he said oh yeah we just sold it about an hour ago. He then said I can show you my other trucks. I said ok which other one is 26k? He then said oh, I don't have anything in that price range but I can get you a real good deal on a new one. If they really did sell the truck, why not call the person that's coming down to see it???? Doug Money is one of a kind person to deal with when it comes to buying a car. This is now my 3rd car I have purchased and trust me, I take my time looking for the right dealership and person to work with! My complaint for this dealership is for their service department only. We leased our vehicle in 2017 with Torrino. His customer service and commitment to get us the perfect family car is what lead us to purchase our vehicle when the lease term ended. The process was simple and personal involved in the transaction to get us into our new loan was amazing. 3 months after our purchase, I noted that our car began to not run correctly so I did what any person would do and took it back to the place I purchased it thinking they would have the most knowledge and our best interest at heart, boy was I wrong. Initially I dealt with Tim who told me that our car also had a recall that needed to be fixed. After diagnosis our car with an issue regarding our wiring harness, we were told that the bill would be $600 dollars for a bandaid fix of the wiring that they say had been chewed by a rat. Having a young family I felt it was prudent to get a second opinion by a trusted mechanic prior to spending that kind of money. Tim failed to ever call me and report my vehicle was ready from my recall repair and I was forced to call at the last min and schedule a late pick up of my vehicle. Our mechanic noted that the wiring was cut extremely clean and that a part was missing, the "pigtail" or "wiring connector". I called the next morning and spoke to Carlos, who is the manager, he stated his mechanic said it was missing when he inspected the vehicle. It's worth noting that to get the other wiring connector out that wasn't missing it took an adult male with thumbs and a screw driver a decent amount of force to disengage the locking mechanism. Carlos explanation was "the rat must have ate it". Frustrated and no where closer to solving my problem I began to call parts houses and search for the part number in order to buy a new wire connector. After hours of research my mechanic was able to find it and have it same day delivered. How much was this part you ask?... $30 dollars. I then took my car back to the shop of my TRUSTED mechanic. As he lifted the hood of my car he ran his fingers along the side by where the water would drain from the windshield what did he find.... the wire connector. Clean cut. I called Carlos and he was already gone for the day. I emailed both the GM Billy and left voicemails. Carlos called me back at 630 pm from a personal cell phone. When confronted he stated "the rat must have removed it and walked it up to your windshield". Then he proceeded to ask me why I was "bothering him is his home free time" and after being reminded he called me we left it at we would discuss it further Monday. Carlos called this morning to tell me to come in the am morning but of course hadn't checked with his boss who stated I couldn't come til after 2pm. I have yet to hear from Billy. Overall please don't trust this dealership's service department with your family vehicle. There is zero professionalism, customer service, or human decency in doing the right thing. read more

DONT buy a car from fairway ford. I bought a used one, have problems now and I'm paying for a warranty. Called fairway and I have to call warranty place, so I did that. Made appt for service after verifying it was under warranty. Warranty place told me to go to Russell Westbrook Hyundai and gave me time and date to have it serviced and see what was wrong. Well, I go to appt today (Saturday, the appt day and time they gave me on the phone) and am told they have to call warranty place and verify its under warranty in order for them to fix it. So I gave them the warranty places number that I called, and they told me THEY CANT VERIFY IT TODAY because the warranty place is closed on Satrudays! WTF???? WHY the hell would the warranty place give me an appt IF They know they have to be called to verify warranty ON A DAY THEY ARE CLOSED AND CANT GET CALLS. The last car I bought from Fairway I had issues with too! I REFUSE To buy another car there. This is ridiculous... If you buy from them Do NOT PAY for the warranty, call you get is a damn run a round and NOTHING gets solved. This is a $1200 repair I need done so of course they dont want to fix it!!!! read more
