It is impressive that a business would open during a pandemic but tucked in a strip mall in Tracy someone took that chance. We tried The Falafel Flame and were so glad they took that chance! The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. We tried the falafels. They were freshly made on the premises and were drizzled with a spicy sauce. My husband had the Combo Platter- gyro and chicken served on a bed of rice with a side of salad, hummus, and pita. I had the Greek Salad with chicken added. It was delicious. This is a company that cares about their customers and their image to customers. I'm in California for work. I decided to stop here for my last night. I ended up going in and waiting for a couple minutes before having my order taken. Not a big deal. But they certainly considered it a big deal. I ran to get some soda and went to put it in my car before going to pick it up. They brought it out to me at my car and gave me free baklava for my trouble. Rice were properly cooked, humus was its best and quantity was appropriate. Falafel was so fresh, tasty and delightful. Addition of salad and humus was a great combination. I ordered the Beef Kabab Entree, which was pretty pricey for the amount of food given (just under $22). Food was good for the most part. The rice was a little hard. The menu says that special sauce is included in the meal, however I only received hot sauce and yogurt. read more

Tried the new Falafel Flame today & we loved it. The gyros were huge and full of meat and flavor. The lamb kabobs were outstanding. The plate also had great rice, tasty hummus, a nice salad and their flat bread which is soooo good. And the baklava was delicious. The guys were very friendly and ready to answer all your questions. I used to like this place when they first open. I understand that the cost of every thing went up but common taking advantage of the situation isn't gonna get you ahead. Changing the price of 40% - 50% is bad enough but they ranked up the price almost double 90%-100% is way too much. It's not like the plate or serving size got bigger it's actually the opposite. Their portion is way smaller than before and for a higher price it shouldn't be. You can get a almost a pound of steak In Texas Roadhouse for almost $40 or elsewhere. Who are u kidding? If they want to keep customers from coming back they need to lay low on their price change. I don't think this spot will last another couple of years. Just watch! read more
