I used to like this place when they first open. I understand that the cost of every thing went up but common taking advantage of the situation isn't gonna get you ahead. Changing the price of 40% - 50% is bad enough but they ranked up the price almost double 90%-100% is way too much. It's not like the plate or serving size got bigger it's actually the opposite. Their portion is way smaller than before and for a higher price it shouldn't be. You can get a almost a pound of steak In Texas Roadhouse for almost $40 or elsewhere. Who are u kidding? If they want to keep customers from coming back they need to lay low on their price change. I don't think this spot will last another couple of years. Just watch! read more

Super randomly chose to give this place a try. So happy I did. This was literally one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Walked in just as they where opening. I was received very friendly. Took a quick look at the menu. Sam who was working the register made a great suggestive recommendation for the Badmesh burger. Sam's got great customer service skills. He literally described every element that's goes into the delicious burger. Sold!!! I ordered that Onion rings Bakalava and even one of their specialty drinks. I got the chicken platter and was very disappointed. It lacked flavor and chicken wasn't 100% cooked. The Togo boxes is just a disappointment and very fragile. I ended up throwing it away. My mother and I were shopping for groceries and felt hungry and wanted to try a new restaurant. My friend Joe has talked about this place before so I told my mom that we should eat here. Once we arrived, we were greeted nicely by the cashier and he gave us a nice welcome in. I decided to order the Lamb Kabob and my mother chose the Gyro Platter. I tried this mango beverage (forgot the name of it ooops) and it was decadent. Our food was delicious and I'm very satisfied with the service that we received. My brother and I ordered six wraps, four gyros and two philly. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the mushrooms complemented the meat inside of the philly wraps and appreciated the generous amount of sauces (chili, yogurt) given. The wraps overall were delicious, and the meat was nicely cooked. That being said, the wait time was far too long. My brother ordered around 1:29 pm per the receipt, and we received the food around 2:10 pm, a whopping 40 minutes. This was my first visit and it won't be the last. So while I was waiting to place an order the guy behind the counter was taking a phone order where I heard all the customer was ordering was 7 Badmaash burgers. Well I thought to myself maybe this is what I should order?...lol. So I ordered one and a side of falafel. The guy that worked there(Sam) first brought out the falafel. It was light and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside where it kinda of melted in your mouth. I've had falafel at several places in the east bay/Tracy and this is definitely the best. The Tzatziki sauce was also creamy and tasty. Cost was $3.99 for the side order but wasn't on the menu. We sat at one of the few indoor tables but the restaurant has a take out atmosphere. After Sam brought out the burger I could tell it was going to be a grub down. I said to myself this is going to get messy. My mom always told me the sign of a great burger is a messy one. The Badmaash burger is a double patty with with crispy bacon, fried egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato and a Thousand Island type sauce(think In n Out) on a sesame seed bun. I passed on the raw onion. The burger is big and cost $10.99. For some background I'm a burger nut . I've been to way too many to mention burger places in Cali but here's a shortened list but not short: Habit, In n Out, Burger Lounge, Five Guys, Cheesecake Factory, Hodad's, Burger Bench, Karl Strauss, Slater's 50/50, Gordon Ramsey, Pacific Beach Alehouse, Broderick Walnut Creek, Val's Burgers, The Counter, Super Duper, Roam Burgers, Wayback Burgers, Trueburger, Burgerim, Moo Moo's, and Smashburger. When I took the first bite I knew I was in for an epic treat. It's a very saucy juicy burger. The meat was flavorful and has that backyard bbq grill taste. The bun was soft and flattens as it somewhat molds to the interior. Overall the burger is packed where a lot of different flavors hit you at once!! It gets more moist as you go. it's the kind of experience where every bite you take you're thinking "man this is grubbin'". I'm over 6' 2" and a fairly big guy. The burger almost filled me up by itself. I think I would have been stuffed if I had gotten fries. A friend also got a gyro and she said it was very good. Tracy has picked up its game in the burger category in the last couple years but this is definitely the best burger in town. I missed this place until now due to the restaurant having falafel in its title but oh man we now have a serious burger spot in T town. So after this experience the Badmaash is making it into my top 5 of what I call Cali Insanity Burgers: Cheesecake Factory(Smokehouse BBQ Bacon w/ranch), Broderick Walnut Creek, Hodad's, Falafel Flame(Badmaash), Burger Bench. Thank you Sam for the great customer service and amazing food. I can't wait to try the gyro next. I'll be spreading the word and rest assured I'll be back!! This place just opened up and I could tell they were super excited to take my order and give me my take out order! The food was excellent. I always get nervous ordering a wrap or kebab because they'll skimp on the meat and fill the wrap with lettuce or the plate with more rice, but this place packed their orders with protein!
