Called AAA for a local tow and the call was serviced by Falcon Towing. We called at 7:30am as we were supposed to fly out at 3pm that afternoon and wanted to have our car sent to get repaired while we were out of town. We we're quoted 45 minutes for the tow truck to arrivbut after an hour and a half nobody showed up or called. I called Falcon direct and was told the Tow truck was in route and would arrive in 30 minutes, once again the time came and went and nobody showed up or called. Then around 10:30am I called yet again and Falcon said they would no longer service the call. AAA tried to contact Falcon directly and we were supposed to have a tow truck show up by 1:39pm. I had an old car pick up on a flat bed that had been restored . driver told me he could get down low enough cause he was so big and he hooked car up wrong and damaged my brand new suspension. I would give them ZERO stars if it was an option. They do not live up to their time quotes and are very rude over the phone. This is the 3rd time AAA has sent them out and they can't get here in a timely manner. Last time it was about 6 hrs to get a tow and now today it was at least 2 hrs when I was quoted 30-45 from their staff. He then helped my husband gather the parts of my car that were not reassembled and load them onto his truck. Sad the a driver had the odassity to park in clearly marked handicapped parking space at the Starbucks parking lot on Central Ave at the 91fwy. I am a disabled vet with disabled vet license plates on my car. I watched him come out of Starbucks and get into the truck. So it was time to get a few parts replaced one of our late model 2011 ACURA RDX. The vehicle has been 100% reliable and trouble free so we got a 2020 too, which is complete awesomeness. Back to our 2011... We were at about 140K and had some maintenance items which needed attention. The dealership wanted to charge well over $1000 for parts and labor, which was kind of odd as I had established somewhat of a repour some of the service folks. The reality is, I knew they were taking advantage of the situation and it was time to to enact my consumer shopping skills. We came across Falcon Towing, who we actually used through AAA at one point. They were great through AAA so we decided to reach out. They completely understood our maintenance needs and they were able to quote us for the same work but at a much significantly lower cost. Considering their Yelp track record and their affiliation with AAA, we went ahead with having them take care of our maintenance needs. The work was great and the time it took was within their estimate. If your in the need of help with auto maintenance or repair, give them a try. You're experience should be a good one. read more

Worst towing I've ever experienced. My wife called in at 10:30 this morning to get a tow. We were told a driver would be there by 12pm. By 12:15 my wife is calling to get an update on when they would arrive. We were then informed that they were going to send a battery specialist to the scene to try to jump the car since the battery seems to be dead and that this action would not make us lose place in line for a tow. Then we were informed that the tow would be "within the hour". The battery specialist comes but can't get the car started. So he leaves. The tow driver doesn't arrive until after 2pm Mind you my wife has been trying to get updates and they kept pushing the time back hour by hour. So once the driver arrives he can't move the car because there's no power to put it into neutral so he watches a video on how to do the manual shift release and claims we need a special to to do so. So no tow for us. He puts in an order for an "unattended tow" that should be approximately 20 minutes. But that was a lie because didn't show up until after 3:30. And then he says he can't tow the car cuz it's too close to the curb. So here I am trying to find out about this alleged tool that we need to release into neutral. Watching videos and all. Then I see that the damn release could've been with a screwdriver. No special tool needed. But now the driver has already left and the vehicle is still sitting in the same place. No tow ever occurred. AAA is foolish for even using this company. Oh and every time we called they over talked us and wouldn't let us finish our statements or questions and then repeatedly transferred us to other people. I'm in utter disbelief that this company even has the right to tow people because they are completely unprofessional from the call services to the drivers. All I see is a bunch of people who clearly don't know what they are doing. Hours of wasted time. And tows that never actually happened. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I repeat: DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Worst experience I have ever witnessed in a towing company. You should be ashamed of yourselves for this level of incompetence. Utterly ridiculous. read more

I understand when any business gets busy both client and service provider may experience less than decent results. It happens. But how my experience today went and how it was handled makes it very clear that what is presented is not even close to reality. If a tow is needed a realistic eta is a critical thing. A tow means in most cases that someone driving no longer can and needs help. A scary event at any level. So being given an ETA of 50 minutes and when that expires most will keep there cool and wait. With no other communication from Falcon I call them. A person answers as if overwhelmed and state they are busy and it will be another hour. What that person doesn't know is that I can here others in the background laughing telling stories and making fun of whatever. The only one in a panick state is the person I'm talking to. Right. I wait that hour and another and made another call to them. . Over three hours pass. Truck shows up but now he tells me that he can't tow because I don't have the keys to unlock steering. At every call made I specified keys are not available. He said he will have dispatch send a truck that can do this. Waited another 45 minutes called and they knew who I was but now state they can't tow at all because of no keys and that's not them rather a AAA policy. I told them I paid AAA for the service outside of my membership the same as if I paid them but they said didn't matter. Out of their hands. It's a AAA thing. I know that was all a lie and confirmed it by speaking to AAA about this. Also found out that when Falcon gets busy things like this happen. Sometimes. Not telling the truth from Falcom is unexcusable act for a company who involves themselves with the general public. In that line of business their actions should be looked at as criminal. And making excuses for Falcons incompetent stupidity is equally as bad. So more than 4 hours of lost time I put in this and the car still sits out there unintended until the morning. I finally had it towed with no problem or issues by Falcons competitor. Lesson: Being the biggest does not equate to being the best. Don't believe their hype. Being one of the best tow company is long gone. The drivers are great it's the rest of the organization that is driving the company into the ground. read more
