Greetings, Yelpees . . . This is the very first time that I have felt so compelled to post a comment on Yelp! Yesterday, I took possession of my 14' Box Truck that I had purchased from Fam Vans. Were you satisfied you might ask? Was I satisfied? Can birds fly? I was more than satisfied! I was ecstatic!! And that is even an understatement!! Nader, who I am certain is a member of their A-Team, after this purchase of mine, I now consider my new friend! Nader is the "epitome" of awesome customer service and professionalism! And believe me when I say this, for I may not always be right, but I'm never wrong!! From the first time we met and shook hands just a couple of weeks ago, until yesterday when I took possession of my truck for my business and shook hands again, Nader's service and accommodation was absolutely "Top Shelf" . . . bar none!! I say "a couple of weeks ago," only because after I made my purchase, Nader has made all of the arrangements to paint my entire truck, repair and replace every item that I felt needed it, arranged for the alarm system to be installed, allowed my Graphics Designer to wrap my truck with my company logos on their premises, installed shelving in my truck and even before taking possession yesterday, accommodated my request to have an added security feature performed on my truck . . . and this was even after we finalized my transaction! In addition, even when I was not available to pick up my truck when it was ready to do so, Nader was very understanding and even parked my truck inside their building every night to insure its safety, for it was beautifully painted and wrapped!! Nader went above and beyond the Call of Duty with my transaction. Nader's mindset, beliefs, practices and professionalism coincides with mine and my company's . . . and that is, "Going the extra mile has no traffic jams!!" So Yelpees, there's my 2 cents!! Fam Vans is a great dealership . . . and Nader is even greater!! I sincerely hope that Nader, in-between helping others with their purchase and providing top notch service to them too, may find the time to read my Yelp Review . . . for it is imperative that he learns of my deepest appreciation in helping to make this transaction a very painless, seamless and most pleasurable one!! Wow Wow Wow!!! Fam Vans for the win. Santiago (Sales), Maria (Finance), Louie (Parts/Service) All Stars in my book now. I was looking for a work van for a small business. I was referred by a friend that made a visit to Fam Vans but did not purchase, but he was impressed by the variety at their Auto Lot. I found the place and made my first visit. My drive up I seen soo many work/cargo vans, I said to myself "I found where I am going to buy my van. They have so many im gonna find something." (after driving up and down Beach and Harbor and just eyeballing the lots for commercial vehicles.) I met Santiago. He was very helpful, funny, and seriously honest to me. He probably could have sold me ice cream in December. I told him I was just looking. He was still helpful. We located 2 vans out of more than 50 on the lot and I left the lot with Santiago's phone number. I followed up after a few days and decided on 1 van. Santiago then made it work. No time wasted. I have been in plenty of dealers with other car purchases and this was smooth and fast. Maria in finance was super nice and arrange a great agreement. Super great team. I'm buying again once the business grows into a bigger van. BE ADVISED: I purchased a vehicle that had some minor cosmetic exterior damage. Santiago/Maria promised to have this repaired. And they did. The owner stands by these decision, which is great to know he wants working/functional vas on the road not lemons and junkers (I did not meet him but I seen him up and down taking care of business) I allowed them the time needed and the repairs were done. DO NOT BUY FROM FAM VANS - Deceptive, Dishonest, and Dangerous! I bought a 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 Cargo Van from Fam Vans on April 22, and it has turned into an absolute nightmare. Salesman Margarito repeatedly swore up and down that the van was in "excellent condition" with "no problems whatsoever." He even proudly showed me an AutoCheck report scoring a near-perfect 95/100 to back up his claims. I trusted him and paid in full. Just three days later, I took the van to an independent third-party shop for routine maintenance. That's when the nightmare began. The mechanic immediately discovered major safety defects: a serious engine oil leak and a failing rack and pinion assembly that needed immediate replacement. The repair bill? $11,000. When I confronted Margarito and sent him the inspection report, he had the audacity to shamelessly reply that the van was sold "as-is" and they bear zero responsibility. This is not just bad business -- this is deceptive and potentially fraudulent. They knowingly concealed critical safety issues, pushed a fake-looking high-score report, and then washed their hands of it once the cash was in their pocket. I have already filed a lawsuit against them in court because this level of dishonesty and concealment of major mechanical defects is completely unacceptable. Stay far away from Fam Vans and Margarito. If they did this to me, they will do it to you. Don't fall for their smooth talk or their inflated inspection reports. Save yourself thousands of dollars and massive headaches -- buy somewhere else with integrity. This experience has been infuriating and expensive. Consider this review your warning. read more

We bought a used Savana 2500 cargo van for a great deal about 6 months ago with the assistance of salesman Angel. It's been a fantastic ride so far, even drove it to New Orleans and back in April. It came with a few minor issues -- a dented front bumper, no spare tire (which Angel remedied right away on request by having one put on before we drove it home), a slightly leaky front tire which turned out to have a tiny nail in it (free patch at Big O), and an inoperative aux power outlet (which we still haven't figured out yet since a new fuse didn't fix) -- but the big stuff, engine, transmission, brakes, cooling system, battery & alternator, driver/passenger area fit and finish, it's all great! We love the heck out of our van. We would definitely buy from FamVans again and recommend anyone to shop there. You can't beat their promotional offers -- at the time, ours came with free oil changes and brake inspections for a year, and a 2-year powertrain warranty. We were also able to drive the van to our own AAA-listed mechanic for an inspection before buying. We'd also suggest asking for Angel. Angel was extremely patient and generous with his time and knowledge -- it took us about 6 visits and looking at many, many vans to finally decide what to buy. He never rushed us or put any pressure on us whatsoever. But, when the time came to get it done, we were in and out with our new-to-us van in about 3 hours, including financing arrangements. This place is the place to go if looking for these type of vehicles. After our long ride from San Diego dealing with annoying traffic we expected to get annoyed by those pestering sales people you usually deal with. Instead was quite the opposite. Highly recommend Maria she runs finance but seems to be running the whole show there. Maria knows her stuff, she made it so easy and smooth for us. We been to several other dealer ships all are same ritual behavior you expect to get when walking in. But here it is nothing like that, Maria worked very hard to make sure we where happy most of all satisfied. feeling the genuine care she shows you along with the HARD WORKERS they have working back lot service. These guys go above and beyond job duties. FAM Van BETTER BE HAPPY AND APPRECIATIVE OF THESE EMPLOYEES! They make it so comfortable and easy to buy from them. Flew from SC with my family to LA for a conference, planning to purchase a vehicle for a cross country return trip home. After searching online for a week and two solid days of traveling across LA County in search of a vehicle for our family of seven, we happened upon the Fam Vans website and decided to give them a try. We arrived at their place around 5:30pm, hoping to leave that evening with a van and start our long journey home. Nader walked us through the warehouse, helping us evaluate their wide selection of passenger vans which varied in age and mileage. We decided on an '05 Ford E350. For the year and mileage, the vehicle appeared to be in very good condition. It was about 6:30pm when we settled on the vehicle and started the payment process. The van was missing a rear view mirror and the foam at the top of one of the bench seats was worn beneath the upholstery. Nader offered to have their service dept replace the seat and install the rear view mirror that evening so we could get on the road. The next day, the ABS warning light came on so I called Nader. He offered to have his guys look at it but since we were too far from LA, he is going to talk to his team and get back with us. Everyone there who assisted us was very courteous and professional throughout the process. We are halfway home and have enjoyed the van tremendously. Had a wonderful experience with Fam Vans from the time we reached out to the handing over the vehicle. Fred Malley was our rep and he was extremely professional, charismatic and a straight shooter. We were treated like family and their process for an out of state purchase was seamless. He was attentive and a excellent communicator, not sure what he's like at home but he damn sure communicates with his customers LOL! Took us no more than 3 days to get all the paperwork shuffled back and forth, inspections and vehicle detailed for us. I would say TEN OUT TEN. Pro's: Onsite help Onsite maintenance depending what it is. Family like business but corporate you can feel the good vibes and energy. Big inventory to choose from and impressive variety Cons but Pros: Pricing slightly higher BUT the big payoff is you know you are getting a quality vehicle that is CLEAN, that was well maintained prior and they give you a one year warranty. Remember you get what you pay for so if you go to an off lot with a much lower price your run the risk of getting a lemon and that goes for off brand used dealerships. They entire staff was extremely pleasant and easy to work with. No shady deals, no shady business pitches, as a female owned business they did not come off like shady salesman. If you are starting out we definitely recommend Fam Vans and will definitely continue to grow our fleet with them in the future. read more

We were on a mission, to find a used "Sprinter" van to convert into our home on the road. Nader and FamVans made the whole process way too easy. We found FamVans online, honestly didn't know what we wanted but they have everything. Sprinters, Transits, ProMasters, the Nissan one. Older stuff, newer stuff, short, long, tall, you get it. The plan was to just go stand in and next to everything and see what we liked, what was too big or too short. Nader. Was. Great. He responded to questions quickly and honestly. We spent 4 hours the first visit getting in different makes and models. Five trips later we brought home our 2017 Transit high roof extended (but not extended long) with rear windows and a backup cam. And guys let me tell you, it's the one. FamVans specializes in commercial vehicles, and that scared us a bit. Cause we aren't commercial people, the thought of do I need a commercial license to buy a commercial vehicle crossed my mind. They not only made it easier than any other car buying experience I've had, they were kind and respectful through the whole process. You may not be looking for a van buying experience exactly like ours. But FamVans worked with us to get exactly what we were looking for, and we couldn't be more excited. My business partner and I were in the market for a truck with a liftgate that we could finance for an affordable rate. We were really nervous that the type of truck we REALLY needed would be out of our price range. We visited Fam Vans on a quiet sunday and within minutes were greeted by Nader Salameh, one of their sales reps. Nader was friendly, informative, and did not push anything on us. At first, we were looking at a box truck without a liftgate but Nader pointed out a similar truck w/ a liftgate and at a great price. Once we settled on the box truck Nader made the entire process hassle free. Approval for financing was quick and the whole deal including an extended warranty came out to be much cheaper than we anticipated! A big concern with used trucks is you don't really know how much abuse they've had in the past. Fam Vans encouraged us to take the truck to be looked at by a 3rd party. The truck turned out to only have a few minor cosmetic issues and they agreed to fix it all without a single bit of resistance. Though it took a few weeks to settle everything due to our busy schedules, my business partner and I walked out happy and stress free. It's rare to find a dealer who really makes you feel like they care without pulling any punches. If you're in the market for any kind of commercial vehicle I'd ONLY recommend Fam Vans. My company was faced with the prospect of having to purchase a delivery truck, as our old one was being obsoleted by the state due to an old diesel engine. After reviewing several online ads, one in particular stood out as a truck that fit every criteria, so I contacted FAM Vans about the truck. I was helped by Nader, who was extremely helpful and gave me all the information I needed to consider the purchase. We test drove the truck and made a commitment to purchase. There was no pressure from Nader, as he was very supportive of our challenge and had enough confidence of the quality of the truck that he told us if we wanted, we could take it to our mechanic and if they find anything wrong, FAM Vans would pay for the repair. We took him up on it and our mechanic found a couple of issues that FAM Vans covered without argument. This purchase was a very positive transaction and was helped tremendously by Nader, who conducted himself as a consummate professional that stood behind the product he sold. If presented with a situation where I would need another truck, my first call will be to FAM Vans and I will ask for Nader in particular. They have such a huge inventory and are not pushy. That was really important to me when I went looking for a van I could convert into a camper. I wasn't sure what I was looking for and wanted to browse and feel them out without any pressure. They had every type and price range of van you can think of. One of the sales reps, Nader, was extremely helpful and let me check out their vans without trying to sell me anything. I have bought only 4 cars in my life but this was the easiest and best experience I could have imagined. I got the best deal ever on a 2011 Ford E-250 High-roof Passenger Van. Nader was extremely helpful and fixed anything on the van that I didn't like. There was some upholstery damage, door seal damage, and vinyl lettering that they removed/repaired and made the van look like new. You always hear horror stories from other dealerships that after you make the deal, service takes forever and it never comes as promised. Nader said they would need 3 days to fix the items that I pointed out and the van was buffed and looking like new in 2 days with everything fixed.
